This is my rating of all the transformers movies I have seen since I was 6 to recently
-Transformers (2007)
7/10, definitely some creepy scenes that were definitely a disguised fetish
-Transformers Revengen Of The Fallen
4/10, there was some racism and a terrible antagonist, plus I really didn't like the plot
-Transformers Dark Of The Moon
8/10, It's definitely an improvement and it's got a good plot, I just wish they'd do better with the character designs and development
-Transformers Age Of Extinction
3/10, Honestly I don't remember much, but I do know that there was a 17 year old getting with a 25 year old, and a seriously butchered plot. They also killed ratchet
-Transformers The Last Knight
3/10, terrible way to introduce Nemesis Prime, racist undertones and honestly I just dont like Mark Wahlberg
-Bumblebee
9/10, The character designs were extremely similar to the comics, the execution of character development and introduction was flawless, and we got to see a bit of the war on cybertron
Transformers Rise Of The Beasts
6/10, As much as I love the seriously large amount of equality and making the female protagonist smarter, Bumblebee did it better. When they try to show that Elena is more useful than Noah, she still gets tossed aside and honestly? I feel like we see TOO much Noah, we know everything about him and nothing about Elena, the plot holes and inconsistencies irritate my core and the lack of screentime for the Maximals makes no sense when the movie is ABOUT THEM, and the mischaracterization for Optimus pisses me off, he HAS been on earth for 7 years, but unless there's a whole ass adventure the autobots did between the end of Bumblebee and start of ROTB, he has no right, rhyme or reason to hate Noah, who didn't know they existed until he got kidnapped. The way the writing is done makes me feel like Steven Caple Jr is trying to be the next Michael Bay, and that's the last thing anyone needs. The movie felt a little too fast paced, and the collab with G.I Joe shouldn't happen until the movie after next
Also I hate that they gave Noah his own monologue at the end, HE'S NOT LIKE THAT
-Transformers One
10/10, smooth animation, excellent voice acting and character developmemt, the antagonist has perfect motive and the sublte writing that hints at what happens next is amazing and you can clearly see when D-16 turns into Megatron and Orion Pax into Optimus. It NEEDS a sequel, because it truly is 10/10's all around

#Marco-Marathon | Transformers | Films
Film Name: Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023); Production Studios: Paramount Pictures, Entertainment One, Hasbro, MPC, Skydance Media, Di Bonaventura Pictures, Allspark Pictures, Marzano Films, New Republic Pictures, Bay Films; Director by: Steven Caple Jr.; Screenwriter: Darnell Metayer, Josh Peters, Erich Hoeber, Jon Hoeber, Joby Harold; Starring: Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Peter Cullen, Ron Perlman, Pete Davidson; Genres: Science-fiction, Action, Adventure; Running Time: 2 hours 7 minutes;
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) tries to update the franchise with new characters from the Beast Wars series and 90s nostalgia. The film attracts with humor and dynamics thanks to Mirage (Pete Davidson), but suffers from excessive action and a confusing plot, especially during the final battle. Although there are interesting moments and charismatic characters, the film does not go beyond the formulaic blockbuster.
Two stars - spectacular, but without emotional depth.
My rating:

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (dir. Steven Caple Jr.).
[It] features much of the same reckless sense of violence from constantly watching giant transforming alien robots fighting we know thanks to the durably exhausting franchise. However, this one feels much more visually coherent and narratively straightforward with enough genuine human elements to ground the insane events depicted. Caple’s direction, much like in Bumblebee, refreshes the Autobots with some heavily ‘90s hip-hop culture influenced energy.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Review
#Transformers #RiseOfTheBeasts Review: "A film that is supposed to be action-packed should not move at a snail's pace and have extremely long runs of uninteresting dialogue. Pete Davidson's Mirage saved this movie with his one-liners."
By: Amanda Guarragi The Transformers franchise has had some hits and misses over the years, but nothing stuck after Dark of the Moon. Director Michael Bay has had its moments, but there’s only so much you can do with the same robots fighting for the cause with the government…again. When the first Transformers film was released in 2007, the technology was well beyond what people had imagined and…

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) dir. Steven Caple Jr.. 7.4/10
I wouldn't recommend this movie to my friends. I wouldn't rewatch this movie.
The more transformers movies we make, the less daddy optimus becomes. I don't like the animal Transformers here the way I liked the dinos and dragons.
I like Elena. We love Kris's motivational speech. I almost teared up there and when we said Kris is gonna get healthcare.

Transformers - Rise of the Beasts thoughts...
I have a pretty mixed history with the Transformers movies. I really enjoyed the first one. Even when I have rewatched it, the first Michael Bay film holds up. It has far less annoying adults and created a pretty good layer of mystery behind the Autobots and the Decepticons. The Bayverse fell apart after that. Revenge of the Fallen was pretty terrible outside of a memorable action scene in the forest. Dark of the Moon was acceptable, mainly due to a phenomenal last hour of mayhem. Age of Extinction was an interminable slog, and The Last Knight was so bad that it was hard to follow. Bumblebee was nice, though it openly was an ET ripoff of sorts. Rise of the Beasts, in context, is probably the second or third best Transformers film. Which isn't saying much but it was surprisingly decent. The one thing I liked was that the film moved away from the Bumblebee and Optimus Prime focus. Optimus is still very much front and center, but we have Mirage as the Transformer who is the one who connects with the human characters. On top of that, the human characters are pretty likable. There are only 2-3 human characters of note and they are used effectively enough. Another thing I enjoyed was Optimus was a much more flawed character than he has been in the past. In all the Bayverse films, he was a noble leader with no flaws and endless compassion for humans. For a lack of a better term, he felt a bit more human in this film, because we see the character nursing guilt over what has happened with his fellow Transformers, having an initial disregard for humans and Earth's safety for the sake of the Transformers he leads. Not to mention, he is less invincible as a fighter. The Maximals are also pretty cool though only Primal and Airazor have substantial roles. But they are at least used better than how Dinobots were used in Age of Extinction. The Terrocons were pretty formidable villains, particularly Scourge. His entry scene is pretty well done. Unicron also looks quite awesome.
The story is nothing to really speak of. Its another Mcguffin leading to Transformers teaming up with humans, in order to stop a world ending event. The action is good. It doesn't quite have the style of Bayverse but its much more coherent. The Optimus Prime vs Scourge fights are a highlight. The performances are solid. Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback are solid and likable. Obviously, Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime is awesome as always. Pete Davidson as Mirage is pretty good. Ron Perlman as Optimus Primal, Peter Dinklage as Scourge, and Michelle Yeoh as Airazor are the other highlights in the voice cast. The film's pacing is a little slow at times, but overall Steven Caple Jr. made a pretty decent Transformers movie. The action is good and the film doesn't overstay its welcome. I would say its about a 7/10.
