It's a decent question. One that anyone with the curious mind that Citlali holds would ask with pure shamelessness. She was used to that kind of thing. Perhaps, being an elder gave her that natural boldness or maybe, it was the fact that she was always the type to poke at the story until only the truth remained. Even as she takes a seat next to the beloved Archon, she can't help, but follow up with even more questions. Not even an introduction, but really, who needed those when there's so much to learn?

For a woman who worked with the threads of fate, darkness, and the human spirit, she really adored tempting the world with questions that may even stump the divine. Citlali closed her eyes then, smiling as her feet kicked at the gorgeous waters beneath them.

Nahida does not often wander the streets of the city at night, much preferring to dwell within the colorful dreams of her people, soothing away nightmares here and there as a little gift she's able to leave without consequence.

But sometimes, there is merit to the quiet of the darkest hours. She's currently seated on the dock, her feet dangling in the water, cold from the lack of sun, and gazing up at the stars. Her eyes mapping the constellations that belong to some of her dearest friends and allies.

"I wonder if there really will come a day when all the stars go out... and whether that will be a day of darkness or a day of new light."

Citlali who has a healthy respect for the occult and always manages to follow the "rules" when it comes to certain superstitions and beliefs. If she ever sees anyone violating a rule on purpose, she will intervene and become furious at the amount of disrespect shown.

Citlali places great respects on all religions and even plays with some darker types of worship as they have much to teach. She never lets an opportunity to learn escape her.

Due to having such an adventurous attitude when it comes to learning, she has a lot to say when it comes to the human soul and its nature. Be prepared for the lecture if you get her started!

She also enjoys holding respectful seances and singing to the departed, celebrating them on certain cultural days.

For Citlali, the day was just beginning. Another warm morning had started, greeting all of the residents with a promising future. She was heading to the neighborhood shop to collect new ingredients for her own personal needs when all of the sudden, she feels something pull at her. She's removed from the gathering crowd by the strength of a young lady. Citlali's takes a second to look over her guest. Long brown hair and eyes so pretty that she could stare at them for hours... who was this girl? Oh, but the weirdness didn't stop there. In an instant, there's a slip and even mora being pushed into her hands by the girl.

She seems super excitable. Citlali takes a moment to gather her thoughts as she watches the situation unfold.

It was true. Citlali had a long list of clients and as one of the elders for the Masters of the Night Wind, she had plenty of responsibility. Reading fortunes was just one of many things she did to keep things going and that action wasn't something performed on a whim. She sighs, before she realizes that the girl had come from a far to witness the glory of Natlan.

❝ Listen , if you come by with me after I purchase new ingredients , I'll read your fortune for free . I can see you went through a lot to get here .  ❞

With that, the money is quickly returned. Though, she does take a second look at the slip in her hands and almost chokes. Is this a coupon for a coffin?

The concept of scrying was a mixed bag to a person like Hu Tao. To rely on fate alone was never advised in her opinion. Just as she would often keep anything supernatural hidden from those who were inexperienced with it. All of which had to be treaded with a grain of salt.

However, she still found herself entering the territory to the Masters of the Nightwind. Located in its own little corner of Natlan. It was about time she visited the region of the pyro archon. Part of her wanted to get some more information on her own vision. Not that she cared too much. It clutched to the back of her coat in a way she tended to almost forget she even had one.

Rumor had spread that there was a particular fortune teller around these parts. Though trying to spot one person in such a distracting place was a lot easier said than done. This place was nothing like Liyue. And yet she found it fascinating.

Finally! She spotted the pink haired female. Wait. It was her, right? Her blossom irises hid behind a squint as she studied over the young woman. She seemed to fit the description she as given. Even had the cryo vision to boot.

"Aiyaa...you are certainly hard to find~" funeral director exclaimed. Without warning she then grabbed Citlali by her wrist then placing one of her infamous coupon slips and a handful of mora into her half open palm.

"Consider this payment" she adding in a cooing tone. "Besides I've been awfully curious as to what my own fortune has in store for me."
