tips on how to see the 3D image below the cut :)

a stereogram is a 2D image or pattern (a.k.a. a "magic eye" pattern) that can trick your brain into seeing a 3D image. to see the effect, you have to play with focus.

the easiest way to do it is to look at something far away (e.g. the other side of the room), then raise the image up in front of your eyes while keeping your eyes focused in the distance. then, try moving the image backwards and forwards until the 3D effect pops out. it's much easier to make it work on a small screen like a phone.

alternatively, if you have a VR headset, you should be able to see the 3D effect through that!

how it works: the stereogram consists of two very similar images. there are slight differences between the images which mimic the effect of seeing real life 3D objects from two slightly different angles with your left and right eyes. you should be "seeing double" when your eyes are unfocused - try to overlay the two sides of the image in your vision.

some people find that the 3D effect appears reversed, i.e. objects in foreground appear in the background and vice versa. if this is happening, try the version below.

1. just draw something absolutely silly something you can never get serious about and don’t get stressed about it turning out bad

2. go to this online gallery of official sonic character art and redraw some poses

3. normal art pose website if that’s more your style

4. look at these neat aesthetics

5. search for more digital art brushes if you’re tired of your current ones

6. color palettes

7. redraw old art

8. look through this royalty free stock image site (aiart can be filtered out)

9. look through littlefleamart’s clothing tag

10. use one of these character hc generators

11. expand the music you listen to and draw something based on a song

12. design a piece of clothing / furniture based on whatever you want

13. i’ve heard of people avoiding the eraser tool / undo button for improvement but i’ve never suceeded at following said rule

14. take a break. I KNOW I KNOW ITS BEEN (insert how many days here) SINCE YOUVE DRAWN SOMETHING it’s ok. it’s chill.

15. if you’re drawing a room or setting find blank images of it first, then add in individual images of things that would be there (ex: get a blank room then find transparent images of a bed, wardrobe, carpet, table, etc etc) for reference, or make it in minecraft

And finally, Transform Element OP Leader (Optimus Prime), one of my recent favorite figures, out of the 1986 Transformers: the Movie. This is solid, well-built, well-engineered, and has the feel of a Fans Toys figure to me (though maybe less paint). It’s also the cleanest sculpt for Optimus yet, definitely besting Takara’s forthcoming version 3 Masterpiece (MP-44). The transformation has a few tricky moments (see Paik4Life’s video on YT for great tips), but I enjoy it a lot. This Matrix chamber is a thing of beauty, and he’s articulated enough to hold it open. His alt mode is the cleanest of any MP-scale Prime we’ve seen—in fact, the only one that completely hides his waist (with the exception of Toyworld’s Primorion, but that’s kind of a different Prime, based on Studio Ox).
