What the emojis could mean for ACFTL: an analysis

Im putting a read more under this because there will be spoilers most likely!!

For those who don’t know what i’m talking about, these are the emojis:

🏰 👑 🔥 👊🏻🫀: The castle and crown make me think of Apollo since, technically speaking, he’s a king (although to me he is a loser). The fire and fist speak “heated fight” to me and the heart makes me think of Jacks. Obviously because he is the Prince of Hearts.

❤️‍🔥🌳: These together make me think of the phoenix tree.

❤️‍🔥: This alone maybe means bad love?

😱: Just makes me think we��re going to all be shocked

🐺💐🐉: The Valors. The wolf means Wolfric, the dragon Dane, and maybe the flowers Aurora? Or, the wolf and flowers together Aurora. The doorknobs from the ACFTL leak have a wolf with a flower crown on one of them and I said it could be Aurora.

😱 🐺 💐 🐉: Together these could be the world shocked the Valors are alive!

🍎:Jacks, not more needs said.

🌊 🪢: Means the picture below

🦅: I have no idea, if anyone has some please tell me in the replies!

😤😍: These together could be Jacks and Evangline finally being like “Fine I really hate you but I love you”

🩸: This scares me ngl. This could mean death or Jacks crying or just someone bleeding. Death is bad because we don’t want anyone dead (except Apollo). Jacks crying blood means he’s really upset (end of TBONA flashbacks). Someone just bleeding is the least likely of these since I don’t think someone bleeding is enough for an emoji, but it can also be bad considering there’s vampires who will very likely be a big part of ACFTL.

What if ALL the Robins (yes, even Steph and Duke) get de-aged to the age of 12-13, and Bruce has to deal with 6 young teenagers that are thirsty for justice, don't listen half of the time, and hype each other up to do dumb shit (they already do that, but 13 years old are worst) He would be TIRED. He cannot keep them away from doing vigilante shit, it works with one 13 years old, not SIX, they will escape.

Dick is trying to teach the other how to go on the chandeliers. Jason is hidden somewhere with his own weight of food and books. Tim is doing whatever he wants because he isn't used to having supervision. Duke explains in details how he will escapes and you cannot stop him. Stephanie ALREADY has a father, she has PARENTS, don't build a father/daughter relationship with her, resist Bruce, don't, don't, don't... Damian is so close to killing one of them, they are so inferiors, father, what did you see in them???

Also, imagine the rogues and thugs when Batman shows up with 6 ROBINS, I would immediately give up.

(Whoops my hand slipped and started writing a Batfam Umbrella Academy AU)

From the Personal Notes of Mr. Bruce Wayne:

00.01 - Ability to manipulate gravitational fields allows for advanced gymnastic and combat capabilities. A strong leader, the others look up to him. Loyal to a fault, but needs to be watched carefully. Will choose the other children over himself or me.

00.02 - Determined, focused, strong willed. Has learned to use her ability to analyze the surroundings and formulate a plan prior to attack. Unfortunately lacks any leadership qualities and fails to communicate these plans to the team, preferring to act alone. Still has much to learn, but is eager to do so. My favorite.

00.03 - Adequate marksmanship and proficiency with ranged weapons. Can hold his own in a fight but relies to heavily on his powers. Insolent, can not take instruction or direction. His recklessness will be his undoing.

00.04 - Development of photokinesis is hindered by his unwillingness to fully commit to manipulating shadows as well as light. Charming and a neutral leader. Should Number 1 ever fail, he would be the best choice to replace him.

00.05 - Connection to animals has yet to prove useful. Fighting skills and determination on par with Number 2, but is unpredictable at best. Refuses to admit when he doesn’t know something. Has no respect for anyone but himself.

00.06 - Still fails to reach the full potential of psychometry abilities. Refuses to accept the possibility that he may be able to see into the future as well as the past. Useful for research and not much else.

00.07 - No clear talents. Some enthusiasm for puzzles and mediocre problem solving abilities. To headstrong. Irritating.

Barbra: evermore. (No body no crime is one of her favs.)

Jason: he is such a rep girlie. But he also listens to TTPD religiously (however he has a soft spot for castles crumbling from Speak now)

Cass: TTPD (Who's afraid of little old me is so her)

Steph: 1989 girlie. But she also loves folklore. (She actually preferred speak now and 1989 at first but folklore and evermore grew on her the more she listened to it. Now she sometimes just plays folklore and stares at the ceiling to wind down after a tiring day)

Tim: TTPD and 1989 (Him Dick Jay and Cas all cried together to I Hate It Here) (and he has happy memories attached with 1989 cus its the first ts album he heard when Steph played it for him.)

Duke: Speak now (idk. In all honesty I don't know much Abt his character. But he is a batkids so I don't wanna leave him out... And speak now is such a good album)

Damian: Reputation. (Idk. Felt like it ig.)

i see a lot of people on twitter predict that steph and jason will be on selina’s side in gotham war (most likely yeah) but i hope she’s there for a reason that’s nuanced and makes sense for her character and not some unaddressed excuse like just because jason’s there and the two of them have been close recently and rosenberg seems to be setting them up

tim meeting lex at a gala when he’s young. he knows lex is a villain but he’s also the only vaguely smart person there and he has a look of disgust every time someone says anything remotely dumb, which tim relates to SO much.

meanwhile lex seeing this kid who is so clearly going to be a supervillain when he grows older and quite honestly this child scares him a little. so he indulges him just enough to be on his good side. lex just about has a heart attack when tim off handedly mentions one of lex’s very secret, only 6 people know about it and 5 of them are hidden away and can’t see their family because of what they know, project.

every time they see each other at a gala there’s just a sense of “oh thank god someone smart is here” and spend half the time politely shit talking the idiots

cut to 17 yo tim drake (never aging again) and he just. shows up in lexs house one day like “give me the blessing to marry kon and i’ll tell you the absolutely groundbreaking gossip i just found out about rebecca” he gets his blessing without lex even questioning it. he knows tim drake is red robin anyway who else would be able to? he is a little disappointed he went the hero route but out of all heroes red robin is closest to becoming a supervillain anyway so it’s fine

lex however does not know any of the other batfams identity. brucie wayne is a fucking idiot who can’t tie his shoes (lex watches him stuff the laces in his shoes once) dick grayson is a Cop(negative), jason todd is dead, stephanie brown is the daughter of a villain and would probably want to be as far away from that life as possible, damian wayne he could buy as robin but there’s no way anyone biologically related to brucie could be even remotely competent, duke thomas seems too normal, and he can find nothing on cass wayne except she seems too sweet. besides tim’s competent enough to hide his identity from his family. especially the wayne family.

I’m sure someone’s already headcannoned this, but Bruce having pet names for the Batkids? Man, those are his babies—you can bet your ass he has pet names for them. He might not be the type of man to show much affection beyond a shoulder pat or the occasional forehead kiss, but he’s determined to parent the crap outta these orphans, and pet names are an easier medium to show that he cares.

Dick is both “chum” and “sweetheart” depending on the context. When Bruce is feeling playful and comfortable (the easy, “your mine and I’m just happy to be here with you” kind of love), he’ll stick with “chum” and Dick absolutely loves it. But when Dick’s sick or has a nightmare or got injured during patrol? It’s sweetheart. It’s default mode for Bruce, because seeing Dick in pain brings up so many raw, intense emotions (Bruce gets scared, goddamit) that it’s easier for him to say “I’ve got you, sweetheart, it’s okay, just keep your eyes on mine,” then it is to say “I’m so terrified that I’m going to loose you, I love you, you’re my everything.”

Jason is“Jaylad.” But it’s less of the name that’s important and more of the story behind it that is. For the first few months that Jason was in Bruce’s care, Bruce didn’t dare call him anything other then his name, in fear that he’d scare him away (he was already so distrusting, so hesitant, so fearful whenever Bruce talked to loud or moved to fast or got upset), but at the same time, he’d seen how pleased Dick had been at being called “chum” and wanted to bestow a similar endearment on Jason. But—he didn’t want to go to far. So instead of calling him “lad” like his own father had once called him, Bruce calls him “Jaylad.” It’s a little more impersonal, but it makes Jason more comfortable. (But when Bruce cradled his son’s broken body he said “no, darling, not you, don’t leave me—” because just how Dick is “sweetheart,” Jason has also always been “darling.”)

For Tim… it’s more complicated. He shoved his way into Bruce’s life and he’s forever grateful, but it wasn’t the same as it was with Jason and Dick. He sees Tim as his son, of course, but their relationship was built on the darkest, most despairing part of Bruce’s life. But even in that terrible season, Bruce would look over at Tim working on a case or cleaning his suit and say, “Good job, sport.” It doesn’t happen often, but Tim is “sport.”

Cassandra is “love.” Bruce has never said it to her, aloud, but he knows Cass can read him well enough to hear the unspoken endearment, to see how much he longs to protect her, bring her joy, fill her heart with all the love she’s filled his with.

Steph is “duck.” And not necessarily because Bruce decided that it was, but because 9 times out of 10 he finds himself screaming, “Robin, get down!” because Stephanie will not for the love of God follow his orders, and end up right in the line of fire. To save time he eventually just started saying “Duck!” It keeps Steph from getting whacked to high heavens and saves Bruce (another) heart attack, but over the years it’s also become somewhat of a ritual to say “duck” whenever Steph walks in the room. Bruce secretly wants to call her “ducky” (which is what his mother called Kate), but he’s never worked up the nerve.

Duke is “kid.” By the time he’s in the family, Bruce has loosened up and lightened up, especially with everyday affection (which is to say, he’s not avoiding it like the plague). He’s quick to say “Good job, kid” whenever Duke had an accomplishment or ask “how are you today, kiddo?” when they see each other in passing in the Batcave.

Damian, lastly, would never allow Bruce to call him anything other then his name. But every once in a while, Bruce can get away with saying “son.” And it’s the best thing in the world.
