Oh absolutely dearest, it was actually a burp fic that got me into stardew valley in the first place way back in 2018 (it was about Sebastian and Sam was there too i think??) but for the life of me I haven’t been able to find it again

Anyway here are some headcanons for my personal favorite character: Elliott <3

THIS IS KINK CONTENT, DNI IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT

First of all Elliott is a huge drama queen

He might actually get embarrassed and cry if he burps in front of the farmer early in their relationship

Especially because this man’s burps are NOT small

They are BELCHY every. single. time.

I truly believe he’s such a dark horse and could easily out belch Shane if you give him beer

If he burps and tastes the wine it’s game over he’s like “aaaand that’s enough”

I personally hc him as being from a wealthy old money southern family (that he cut contact with bc they suck) so he has one of those rich people honey-thick southern accents

So i could totally see him full on BELCHING and then bringing a hand to his chest like “oh my lord, pardon me” with that southern drawl

Despite how overdramatic and embarrassed he’d be before he and the farmer start dating/in the early days of their relationship I feel like once he got comfortable he’d pretty much just let them out (within reason) without thinking much about it

If something absolutely wet and vile and disgusting came outta him he’d just cover his mouth with both hands and stand there in shock

I feel like he spends a lot of his time at his desk writing and drinking either red wine or tea (and forgetting to eat) so he ends up with a lot of air in his stomach

He’s very prone to liquid bloating since he does forget to eat and quells his stomach with drinks

He’ll let out some really good ones right there at his desk and just continue writing

Beer really gets his stomach bloated af

He usually avoids it for that reason but on holidays he has been known to indulge

Also Elliott has a surprising amount of kink worthy lines that are actually in the game its kind of insane

One such example:

He has a specific line where he stuffs himself during the winter feast and my brain went haywire with that one

He also definitely loves belly rubs

This is a man that likes to be pampered especially when he has a sore, bloated belly

If and when he and the farmer have children his burps have definitely woken the baby up on numerous occasions

They’re like prime for child-scaring

As in canon, he’s also very prone to hiccups

And the only way he can successfully get them to go away is to hit himself on the chest and try to force up the biggest belch possible

Sometimes he even has to swallow air to do it

I have a very specific image of him in my head letting out these monstrous burps while he fusses with his hair in the mirror

Or while he’s gathering his hair into a ponytail

He’s super casual about it too

Like I don’t think he understands how genuinely massive his burps actually are

He hears them all the time so he’s like??? Desensitized to how loud they are???

So when the farmer’s like “Jesus?!?!?” It takes him a second to be like “OH! OH THAT WAS LOUD I BEG YOUR PARDON” (again with the twang)

genuinely playing dragon age origins is extremely fun it really took me back to when i was 12/13 and experienced a viddy game for the first time (it was me watching my brother play gta vice city hehehe)

Side note: i've only recently got the chance to play games, when i was younger i wasn't allowed near technology media or people my brother snuck me into his room to watch movies and games with him but that was the extent of it i was mostly locked in my tiny room(yes locked) and left to have conversation with the wall then i grew up and thought it was too late for me to experience all the fun things other kids my age did like play videogames but now im almost 30 and deciding to try and get into video games now honestly was the best decision i have ever made while i love SDV and sims they are more of a comfort seeking thing (still fun!) Kind of a coping mechanism especially stardew its helps me alot with emotional regulation and while bg3 is extremely fun it felt like adult fun more advanced. But playing DAO ? Oh my fucking god its just pure joy and fun! Reminded me of when i played diablo( the original very first one) with my nephew that was pure old-school horror and i loved it DAO though? I get it i get the massive fandom around it its genuinely made of pure joy! Aaaaaaah!

Cat's Go-To Cozy Games

I'm one of those people that might best be referred to as "high-strung." I'm constantly obsessing about my work, my chores, my family, and all the other moving parts of my life, to the point that it gets a bit difficult to relax.

So, of course, I turn to video games. Specifically, I tend to play a lot of cozy games - sims, worldbuilding, low-stakes survival, that kind of thing. It makes me happy to create a little virtual life with low-stakes adventures I can enjoy at my leisure without the pressure of competition or timed events.

If you, like me, are looking for a way to wind down, I've got a couple of recommendations.

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is the classic cozy game. It's got everything: cutesy retro graphics, a little town, a customizable farm, cute animals that you can name and pet, magic and mystery, and sprinklings of romance.

I've played well over 300 hours of this game in the last few years and I'll happily play 300 more. I still haven't found every secret! On top of that, this game has one of the most helpful and welcoming communities on the internet, which is lovely.

Slime Rancher (1 & 2)

If you're a fan of self-guided adventures with adorable characters, Slime Rancher (both the original and the sequel, which is currently in early access) should be your go-to. It's a game all about taking care of precious little blob creatures with different themes. The soundtrack is incredibly relaxing, the story is bittersweet and relies on exploration, and the mechanics of the game are simple to pick up and consistent across games.

My personal favorite character is bOb, and no, I will not elaborate beyond saying that he likes chickens and that's the best thing ever.

Minecraft

Yes, it's a meme. Yes, it's totally worth it. There's something ridiculously relaxing about wandering through a cuboidal world, making a little house, interacting with villagers, digging through caves, getting pet cats, and seeing what else the game has to offer.

For the ultimate relaxing experience, I recommend playing in peaceful mode and simply building a massive farm.

Travellers Rest

Love the idea of a business sim, but make it fantasy? Then Travellers Rest is the best possible game for you. It's a low-stakes fantasy game where you run the tavern that adventurers go to between adventures. You can cook food, brew drinks, rent out bedrooms, and craft interesting new furniture to make your tavern even better. And there's a cat!

The game is still being updated and created in early access, so if you jump in now, you get to influence how the game is created, which is just awesome.

Armello

Armello is a digital board game with a cool fantasy premise: you're playing to take the throne from a king corrupted by evil magic called Rot. You play as a variety of cute (and sometimes a bit spooky) animals from various houses each with different abilities and powers in the game.

It's low-stakes even when playing against your friends, the music is beautiful, the art style reminds me of the Redwall books, and it's perfect for people who love board games in person.

Cozy Games Rule

I know there's a stigma about girls only playing "cute" games, but the truth is they're perfect for anyone and everyone who wants to take a little time to chill. Cozy games are meant to be comforting, so why not let anyone enjoy them if they want to? I think we could all use a little comfort nowadays.

What video games do you like to play?

Honestly Im a grab bag of a gamer!

I used to be massively into the souls games but after I played them too much I just cant seem to go back to them.

I absolutely love a good chill vibing game like Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons and Rune Factory, have frankly logged far far too many hours into Stardew as it is.

Then recently Ive been feeling the urge for some fast paced action so Ive been going through some older fps's like I just beat Blood on well done a few months back working my way through Amid Evil now, absolutely adore Ultrakill even though I am god awful at it and am not even good enough to beat the first Gabriel fight much less unlock the entire second act.

Of course if you want to count them and I most certainly do I am a visual novel addict, and if you dont think VN's are games go find a copy of Kamidori Alchemy Meister and get as addicted to that games tactical combat as I am! (Its a fire-emblem like only more high fantasy)

But the Majikoi series stands out above all the visual novels, hell Majikoi is so important and amazing to me Id put it in my top three favorite experiences Ive ever had from a piece of art!

Occasionally when the mood strikes me Ill boot up a good ole RPG obviously you have your OG classics like Chrono Trigger (Which I happen to have a SNES cart of) but newer classics that forgo the turn based combat systems as well like Ni no kuni!

As with all things however I have a pair of games that I play for comfort and never bore me or get stale, the first is Diablo 2, I began playing Diablo 2 when I was just six years old something about the game drew me in and has never let go the moment I first laid eyes on the rouge encampment an obsession was formed. During a move my dad lost his copy of Diablo 2 and I begged him to get me a new one, when my asshole abusive brother destroyed that copy I scrounged every penny I found on the street to buy it again, due to complicated circumstances ive lost or had my copy of Diablo 2 ruined I think about 6-8 times but when the Itch to play it comes from deep inside my skull I cannot refuse so Ive had to re-buy the damn thing that many times! I dont know how long Ive spent playing Diablo 2 but just a gut feeling says that it would have to be measured in YEARS.

The other Game is Terraria I bought Terraria on Steam day one, I remember watching the developers lets play back on youtube at the same time I was playing the game, Terraria does not have as much of a story in my life as Diablo 2 but since I bough it day one on steam 12 fucking years ago I actually do have my total collective play time

That's 3,204.4 hours thats more than double my next most played game on steam (Titan Quest at 1,417.8 hours CAN YA TELL I LOVE ARPG's?) that equates by the way to 133.5 days straight of just playing Terraria. No I do not have all the Achievements in Terraria I play games to have fun and escapism doing a checklist of things in a game isnt fun!

There are so many more games I adore but this is already too long!

Well, the one recommendation I give everyone, due to my own massive obsession is the entirety of the Kingdom Hearts series, both for the wonderful storytelling and everything associated with it (i.e. characters, themes, comedy etc) and for the graphics and gameplay.

Also, another game I can recommend, if you're interested in life sims and games like animal crossing or stardew valley, is disney dreamlight valley.

Ohhh this is such a cute concept to come back to!!

Platform-wise I generally prefer to play most things on PC. Especially considering the games I like to play, I like being able to mod a lot of them. It's also been much more accessible for me to build or update a gaming PC than keep up with new consoles. I do have a switch now though and I really enjoy it!! Would probably love a steam deck too if I could ever scrape together the money. I'm interested in a VR headset for the future as well. I do have other consoles: a super nintendo, nintendo 64, ps1/2/3, orginal xbox & 360. Just don't really have a setup where I can plug 'em in easily.

Game-wise, I'm a bit of a variety gamer. I love the sims because I love the storytelling aspects and other ways I can tap into my creativity to play, so I like games with a similar feel that involve customization and that also allow me to roleplay or become otherwise immersed. Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley (Been loving the new update!), Planet Coaster, House Flipper, Cities: Skylines. One stand out here is probably Project Zomboid because that's obviously more of an intense game overall but I group it more with things like The Sims because I don't know, a lot of the simulation and base-building components are really relaxing to me and it's a more heavy roleplaying experience.

Naturally I also like a lot of other RPGs, but specifically ones where I can make my own character and the world is not super linear. It doesn't have to be a massive open world but I like being able to do my own thing at least a bit. Elder scrolls is one of my favorite series bc of this (Everything Morrowind+ and I LOVE eso despite generally not liking MMOs), Fallout, Dragon Age, I'm actually trying to work on moving to a better computer now so I can finally play Elden Ring (Which gameplay-wise I always thought I'd enjoy the souls games, just didn't have the means to play them before mostly, but the lore of ER just really captured me and made me want to jump in possibly even more than bloodborne did. But that is another thing I am Also a lore guy lol)

I like hack & slash action games a lot. Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Rising, REALLY love Hades despite not generally being a big fan of roguelikes. Tycoon & simulation games like RCT & Software Inc & Prison Architect (NUMBER GOES UP BABEY!) & finally horror games, which I don't play as much myself anymore bc I don't always enjoy the mechanics and at some point I went from being completely apathetic to anxiety being triggered easily, but they're still a favorite because of storytelling. Resident Evil & Silent Hill in particular are comfort games to me lol

I just read your stories and I don't know how long it's been since they were published but I'm absolutely in love with Zeke's and Isabell's dynamic! As well as Lark and Oliver- soft and careful giants are my therapy.

If you don't mind me asking for a tiny prompt, it's absolutely ok if you don't feel like writing right now but I wonder what would happen if Zeke started making more clothes for Isabell like pajamas or even socks, how she'd react to them and if it could further their relationship development.

Or perhaps someone coming into the house, invited or uninvited and the borrowers would have to find a quick solution to hide etc.

Hi! Thank you so much for the prompts, sorry this took me several months to respond to! I'm really glad you enjoy my collection of specifically arranged words. I have a lot of fun arranging them. I've been writing Zeke and Isabell's story for waay longer than I've been posting them! Lark and Oliver are newer, but I'm really excited about where that story is going! I just need to write it lol. ANYWAY! I will absolutely circle back to Zeke making more clothes for Isabell because that is the cutest idea ever. But here is a quick solution to hide! I hope you enjoy!

They enjoy an afternoon together. Most of the exams that have been stressing the lads out have passed, and have been passed, and all of the work projects have been completed. So, the chaos around the house has gone down significantly. Isabell reclines on the couch, seated comfortably between her two gigantic human friends as they play a game together. This isn’t one of the games that she can play very easily, so she is content to just watch. She has gotten pretty good at using the controller. She can play Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and even Minecraft all by herself! But the game that the lads are playing currently, you have to be able to move and hit all the buttons really quickly, even the buttons on the back of the controller. Marcus seems to know all the right orders to push the buttons in. His hands move with confidence and precision. When she first started watching him play, it looked like he was just mashing buttons at random, but the longer she’s observed him the more that she’s been able to recognize that he's hitting the buttons in specific patterns, they’re just really fast patterns. Zeke, on the other hand, is definitely just mashing buttons at random.

“Hey man.” The door to their apartment groans open and a new voice enters the room. Both of the humans beside her whip around to look at the newcomer, their game quickly forgotten. Before she can blink, a hand snatches her up and stuffs her into the pocket of their hoodie. It happened so fast that for a moment she isn’t sure who’s pocket she ended up in. Her heart plummets into her stomach as the giant stands and makes his way over to the door. The movement causes her to tumble around awkwardly in the pocket. She suddenly regrets how comfortable she has let herself get with these humans. At the end of the day, they’re still humans, they’re still unfathomably massive. If they wanted to, they could snatch her up, toss her around like a little doll, stuff her into a pocket… much like what just happened. She feels like just a tiny thing, not much of a person at all.

Tight spaces have never bothered her very much, when you live most of your life in a wall, you kind of have to get used to it. But she realizes that she really doesn’t enjoy being in a pocket. The fabric shifts around her like an oversized hammock, folding over her uncomfortably. The air is too hot, making it difficult to breathe, and immediately causing her to sweat. She can’t see out of the pocket from her position, and she doesn’t dare trying to get closer to the edge to attempt a view. She lets herself settle in the bottom of the pocket, trying to make herself as small as possible. She tries to give herself a mental pep talk in an attempt to ward away the growing panic she feels in her chest. Everything is fine. They'll get rid of them and this’ll be over with soon enough.

She’s in Marcus’s pocket. She can tell when he goes over to greet the newcomer, his voice rumbles around her. That makes sense. Between Marcus and Zeke, he would be the one to make a split-second decision that ended with her tossed haphazardly into a pocket. She likes the guy, but he really doesn't think things through all the time.

From the interior of the pocket, she also discovers that there isn’t just one new human, but three. Apparently, they share a class with Marcus.  Connor, Daniel and Curtis, she hears their names as they are introduced to Zeke. Marcus then introduces Zeke in his typical fashion.

“Guys, this is my roommate, Zeke-“

“My name is Ezekiel. Nice to meet you all.” Zeke interjects. That must be their thing, because that's how Zeke was introduced to her. He only ever corrects Marcus on his name when he is introducing him, so maybe he doesn't actually mind being called Zeke, he just wants people to know that's a nickname? Or he does mind, but he gave up on trying to correct Marcus every day? But she has called him Zeke, and he's never said anything to her either.

“So, we’re working on a big group project together. I guess I forgot to tell you that it’s my turn to host.” She doesn’t hear Zeke respond to this, most likely he just nodded and walked away.

“Sorry if we’re interrupting something man," the new human lowers his voice, "your roommate seemed pretty peeved.” One of the guys says. She doesn’t know their voices well enough to be able to tell which one.

“Oh, nah don’t worry about him," Marcus laughs, "That's just his face. He’s literally always like that. You get used to it.” Marcus shrugs, and it shifts the fabric around her. Every movement that he makes pulls the hoodie, jostling her hiding spot and making it impossible to get comfortable.

She realizes now that she’s in the room with more humans than she’s ever even seen at once. Marcus and the new guys settle in the living room and begin discussing their project. They talk about formatting and presentation order. Apparently, they have already done the majority of the work and this meeting is more about putting it all together.

Inside Marcus’s pocket she’s already getting hot and sweaty, and her arm feels like it’s going numb from how she is laying on it. But she doesn’t want to make too much movement in the pocket and draw attention to herself, and she can’t really think of an easy way to adjust. She just focuses on staying calm as she listens to the discussion drone on. It is incredibly boring, and the meeting seems to drag on for ages. So much for it being over with soon.  

Time passes slowly, but eventually things start to wind down. “Alrighty, I think we’re in a really good place with this,” says one of the guys, she thinks Curtis maybe?

“Yeah, this is coming together,” another responds. She is relieved to hear them begin packing up their things. They’ll leave soon, and she can get out of this pocket.

“Hey, do you want to grab some food?” Asks the third guy, maybe Connor? She really can’t tell.

“Hell yeah!” Her heart sinks as Marcus responds. He must have completely forgotten about her. He leaves the apartment with the guys and bounces down the stairs. By the time he climbs into the car she feels absolutely scrambled. For a moment she thinks she could get his attention in the car, but they all drive together so she’s forced to stay hidden and she doesn’t dare risk leaving Marcus’s pocket when they’re out of the apartment, especially not when there are other humans around. They seem to be having a great time though, blasting music as they make their way to wherever it is they’re going. It’s not so great for her as the seatbelt presses into her uncomfortably, pinning her against Marcus and making her feel even more claustrophobic than before.

They go to some kind of ‘fast food restaurant’ she only knows what two of those words actually means, but she uses context clues to figure out the last one. Marcus’s hand enters his pocket briefly, but it’s only to shove a thin piece of crumpled paper in there with her, pushing her over in the process. His hand leaves as quickly as it entered. He didn’t even feel her. So that’s how it’s going to be then. Here she is, stuffed in his pocket and forgotten. She knows he didn’t mean to forget her. You can’t really ‘mean to forget’ something really, because even then you have to remember to forget it and that’s a choice in and of itself. She’s so small, she’d really be easy to forget inside of a pocket, like a pair of old headphones, or a receipt.

She had grown so comfortable with these humans that she had almost convinced herself that she actually belonged in their world. She thought that they could really be friends despite the size difference. But it is so painfully obvious now that she was just so disillusioned by that fantasy. Sure, they made things very comfortable for her, they made her a space just for her where the furniture is almost the right size for her, they modified the gigantic furniture in their home to be easier for her to scale so she could be more self-sufficient. But they have whole lives outside of those walls, they know other people, they go to school, they have jobs and hobbies. That is something that she can never truly be a part of, she can never have that for herself. All she can do is be some kind of stowaway, hitchhiking in a life that doesn’t belong to her, in a world that she will never fit in. It was just one big game of pretend, now reality is crashing into her like a tidal wave. She is so miniscule, so small, so easily forgotten, and she is stuck in this stuffy pocket. She is forced to just wait until Marcus returns home. For some place that’s called ‘fast food’ they certainly seem to be spending forever there, laughing and carrying on.

 Finally, finally they leave and it’s just one more nightmarish car ride until they are back at the apartment. She is tumbled around once more as Marcus travels back up the stairs, but then they’re home. Maybe he won’t remember her. Maybe all he’ll do is get home and pull off his hoodie, tossing it in the corner of the room and she’d have to wrestle with the weight of the fabric on top of her to get out. Another wave of claustrophobia sets in, she doesn’t know how she’s managed to keep herself together for as long as she has. The guys leave with a chorus of goodbyes and Marcus plops back down on the couch. She is beginning to attempt finding the footing to make a break for the opening of the pocket when she hears Zeke.

“Marcus. I absolutely can not believe you.” He sounds angry.

“What? What did I do?” He sits up, making her slide back, losing what little progress she made toward the opening of the pocket.

“You’re kidding. Tell me you’re kidding.”

“What? Was it because I didn’t tell you the guys were coming over? Sorry I forgot and-”

“No! I don’t care about that! I’m talking about Isabell.” He pauses. “You forgot. You forgot about her?! I’m going to kill you. She is still in your pocket! She’s been there this whole time.” Zeke sounds very angry

“Shit,” Marcus jumps. In an instant he shoves his hand into his pocket. His fingers search for her for a moment, before curling around her and bringing her into his palm. He pulls her out into the open. The air feels so cool against her flushed face. She feels so sweaty and gross, and she doesn’t know if she is relieved or sad or angry, or some combination of all of those emotions. Her hair feels like it’s all sticking to her face, and her neck, she pulls it back into a ponytail for a moment, taking a breath before letting it go.

“Isabell. Oh gosh. I am… I am so sorry.” He brings her up closer to his face, she bristles with nerves as she feels his eyes trace over her. She doesn’t want to look up at him, so she doesn’t. She can tell that he’s anticipating some kind of response from her.

“…It’s fine.” She mumbles after a moment.

“No. No!” Zeke says from across the room. It is absolutely not fine!” The intensity in his voice causes her to flinch. She looks over to him and if looks could kill Marcus would be done for. “He is a complete ass, and you are being far too nice to him.”

“I mean. Yeah. It sucked,” she shrugs not knowing what else to say, “I just… Can I go? I don’t really want to be here right now.” She crosses her arms, wishing she could disappear, or teleport, or just not be so damn small in the first place.

“I am so, so sorry I-”

“Save it. You’ve done enough damage tonight, let her go.” Zeke steps forward and collects her in his hands. Marcus lets him without protesting. Zeke holds her to his chest, and she’s thankful to be hidden from view. His hands tremble slightly around her as he walks down the hall to his room. He unfurls his hands, setting her on the nightstand where most of her set up is.

“Bells, are you alright?” He’s kneeling in front of her to be more on her level, but she still has to look up to see him. He pulls his hands away to give her space, but he fidgets with them in a way that lets her know that he would really rather be holding her. She doesn’t think he’s aware that he does that. For someone so stoic, he really does have a lot of obvious tells that betray how he feels, you just have to know what to look for. She flops down on her bed and gives him a grimace paired with a thumbs up. Unsurprisingly that doesn’t convince him. “Do you need anything?  Do you want something to eat? Some water? I could set up a bath for you. I can just stop talking and leave you alone? Whatever you want, I’ll make it happen, alright?”

“What I need is to not be four inches tall anymore,” she sighs heavily. She could use everything that he’s offering. She is super hungry, probably dehydrated and she feels super gross from her extended stay in the pocket. She’s just annoyed that she can’t provide any of that for herself right now. Zeke frowns, he probably doesn’t know what to say to that, so she pipes up again, so he doesn’t have to feel awkward. “Food, water and a bath would all be very nice. Thank you.”

“I’m sorry I can’t… be more help than that.”

“It’s not your fault. I appreciate everything you do. It just sucks that it has to be this way. I just feel like I don’t fit… like in this world,” she shakes her head, not really knowing how to explain it. “I can’t do anything for myself. I mean I could try, but it would take so much more time than if you just did it. You can do things like just walk over to the kitchen, just turn the water on in the sink. Even if I was living in the walls or with a borrowing community, I would still need to rely on humans for everything. It sucks. I just hate that you have to take care of me. Sorry, that was a lot. You can just ignore me.” She shakes her head.

“No, I… I get it. We can try to find a way to let you do more things for yourself.” He pauses for a moment, and she thinks he might just get up to leave her be while he works on the errands that she’s tasked him with. But after a pause, he continues, “I don’t mind taking care of you,” he says quietly, the gentle tone of his voice sends electricity up her spine. “I mean… I don’t feel like I have to do it. Despite your size, I know that you are really more than capable of taking care of yourself. But even if you were my size I … I would still try to do all the things I’ve been doing. I would still want to make dresses for you, and all of your favorite foods, and I would still want to hold you when you were upset, and-” he cuts himself off, realizing how much he is sharing right now. They’re both blushing like mad, “I um… well, anyway, you are not a chore to me.” He pauses awkwardly, before standing, “How does a quesadilla sound?”

“Y-yeah. That sounds great,” she says, still blushing. He nods and quickly leaves the room.

i almost finished evangelion and would give it another shot i think i ran out of steam after trying to binge it. i’ve always wanted to get into mechs

as for games i am so excited to try out silksong, hollow knight soundtrack / aesthetics / game was SO good artful beautiful but i could not get past some of the bosses. same with cuphead i just dont have the reflexes for it 😭😭

Comfort tag game

Comfort movie: I have two - Silence of the Lambs and The Borrowers.

Comfort food: It would have to be a big bowl of ramen. I love tonkotsu ramen with extra pork belly, match that with a peach tea boba and I’m in heaven 😌

Comfort clothing: I have this big fluffy/fleecy thing called an Oodie (which is like a massively oversized jumper with a hood) and I live in it during the cooler months as it’s so warm and snuggly.

Comfort song: Oh, this is a tricky one! I have so many comfort songs for different moments (a lot of them musical theatre songs) but I would have to say that I Need My Girl by The National is pretty up there on the list.

Comfort book: AGAIN, SO HARD!! I have so many 😭 I do always go back and re-read the Game of Thrones series, so maybe those (specifically book 1 which is a limited edition illustrated hardcover that I adore).

Comfort game: Hands down, Stardew Valley 🥰 I will always go back to that game and ALWAYS marry my bae Leah…I’m actually doing another play through at the moment on a new farm with a challenge of only shopping once a month and it’s really fun!

I'm very awkward and shy, though am quiet unless something pipes my interest. Once people get pass that, i'm friendly and rambley though am chill and go with the flow, though am insanely forgetful and will repeat myself. I'm pretty affectionate, once i get comfortable with the person. I'm a lover of silly stuff like puns, and jokes. Coal is a very friendly, somewhat subdued monster. He would be an excellent partner for spending relaxing time together, and would likely be able to coax out your friendlier side pretty quickly! He’s the type of person that others (who aren’t judgmental of his appearance) come to find themselves at ease around.

Coal is blind, but he doesn’t let that stop him from enjoying life on the surface! He would love to listen to you talk about any and all of your interests, and he enjoys baking and gardening a lot, too!
