St-Germain Royale !
Valentine's Day cocktails don't always have to be pink, sometimes all you need is something crisp, refreshing with a touch of sweetness - enter the St Germain Royale.
Ingredients:
25ml St-Germain (Elderflower Liqueur)
150ml Champagne
Blackberry to garnish
Method:
Pour St-Germain into a chilled Champagne glass (from freezer). Top with Champagne. Give the drink a quick stir. Garnish with a blackberry by placing on the rim of the glass.

Whoops not done with Veilguard cocktails I guess. Looks like I'm making some for the factions in general, too.
THE MOURN WATCH
A deathly (and deadly boozy) cocktail with the floral whisper of Shroud's Kiss blossoms and ritual funeral herbs.
1-1/2 oz (45ml) green Chartreuse
3/4 oz (22ml) london dry gin
1/2 oz (15ml) elderflower liqueur (St. Germain or other brand)
1-1/2 oz (45ml) fresh lime juice
4 dashes orange bitters
A handful of drops absinthe for glass rinse
Optional: Brandied cocktail cherry for garnish (not a bright red maraschino, but the rich, dark kind)
Combine gin, elderflower liqueur, chartreuse, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker.
Add ice.
Shake well.
Rinse a chilled coupe glass with the absinthe by swirling it around inside the glass. Discard or drink the remaining few drops.
Strain the shaker contents into the glass.
Garnish with the cocktail cherry
----------
This one is a spirit-forward doozy, you're definitely going to want to chill the glass and drink it cold as the grave.
(I'm so sorry this one includes some pricey and/or hard-to-find ingredients in the US, mainly the Chartreuse, but it was just too perfect not to include).
EDIT: Adding a note based on a rec from @smoreofbabylon that Dolin Génépy can possibly be substituted for Chartreuse here. Thanks!

Grappaling Hook
Codex Entry
A white liqueur with hints of elderflower and dark intent. Served with three coffee beans and a smile not shared by the eyes. Colorless. Guileless. Harmless? Now we have you.
Ingredients
Elderflower liqueur wash
2 oz Sambuca or anise-flavored liqueur
Three coffee beans
Preparation
Serve neat, room temperature, in a clear glass
Garnish with the three coffee beans floated on top
Specific Ingredients in this photograph
Elderflower liqueur: St. Germain
Anise liqueur: Don Ciccio & Figli Finocchietto
Notes
You would think this contains grappa but it doesn't
This is based on the Coffee Sambuca, or ghiaccio e mosche
Do not skip floating the three coffee beans, the scent really makes this drink
See Additional Veilguard Cocktails (I will add links as I post them)
Ammazzacaffè | Daisy Fun-Time Lemon Gin | Dew of the Dales | Grappaling Hook | Qun on the Rocks | Vint-6 the Common Red
Outtakes
I always start with too many items and have to continuously whittle it down to something less distracting...

My brother and I are both very chatty with bartenders but we have very different styles. He'll get served something and he's like "Is this made with St-Germain? That's the gold standard in elderflower liqueurs." whereas I'm more like "Hey can I have one of those cherries for free? My mother never loved me."

007 Fest - Characters of Color Day Cocktail
Tumblr media
Jinx’s Bikini
1 1/2 oz tequila blanco  1/2 oz Aperol infused with strawberry  1/2 oz lemon juice  1 bar spoon St. Germaine elderflower liqueur 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Shake all of the ingredients together with ice and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
An eye-catching knockout like Giacinta "Jinx" Johnson deserves a knockout cocktail to sip beach-side—preferably one that color-coordinates with her unforgettable swimsuit! This cocktail is a variation of the Part-Time Lover, customized for Jinx. I infused the Aperol with fresh strawberries for 3 days to create the perfect color match, and used a bit less elderflower liqueur so the delicious strawberry flavors come out. Sit back and enjoy a refreshing cocktail with a slightly sweet, slightly bitter edge while you take in that magnificent view!

DESTINATOIN: PARIS
Saint Germain. A Parisian boulevard where Jean-Paul Satre strolled, or a football team from the same city. Perhaps the French liqueur made with elderflowers. Those of a theosophical persuasion will want to bend your ear with tales of Saint Germain, an eighteenth century mystic, philosopher and ascended master. Whatever that is. While all the above are true (give or take some metaphysics), the St…

Champagne Cocktail !
(With Elderflower and Pear Syrup)
Makes 6 (or 8) cocktails:
Ingredients:
3 (or 4) ounces Domaine de Canton 3 (or 4) ounces St. Elder elderflower liqueur (or St- Germain) 9 (or 12) ounces Pear Syrup (see recipe below) 1 bottle French Champagne 1 pear, cored and sliced and drizzled with lemon juice rosemary sprigs, for garnish
For the Pear syrup: 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 2 pears, peeled, cored and diced
You can prepare this for one or for as many drinks as you need.
In a cocktail shaker, add ½ ounce Domaine de Canton, ½ ounce St. Elder, ¾ ounce pear simple syrup per cocktail, and finish with ice. Stir for 7 seconds with a stirring spoon, and then pour the mixture into a cocktail glass. Once stirred, divide between the glasses. When ready to serve, top with Champagne. Decorate each glass with a slice of pear and a sprig of rosemary.
For the Pear Syrup: In a pot, combine the sugar, water and diced pear. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain, pressing on the pears with the back of a spoon to get as much flavor as possible in the collected liquid. Let the syrup cool completely (I suggest keeping the pears for a dessert, for example, so that nothing goes to waste). Keep the syrup in an airtight jar in the fridge. Use for cocktails, drinks or desserts.

liquor store didn’t even card me but then again what under-21 college student is buying Empress Indigo Gin and St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur. Frankly if someone under 21 was buying them they deserve it just for having good taste
