The Master always bringing in diagetic music, (I Can't Decide, Hey Missy, Rasputin, etc) because they've always been a little miffed that THEY couldn't hear the non-diagetic theme music like the Doctor could.

Imagine your best friend swore up and down they could sometimes hear situationally relavent music. Yet you were stuck with a 4 beat pounding in your head or nothing.

everyone keeps going wow i can't believe mumbo is so suspicious of the two most loyal life series members but you also have to remember his life series experience so far has been grian threatening and then succeeding to kill him while the southlanders fall apart and then dying to lava while butlering for grian and falling off a cliff because he was upset about a tower building contest that grian had a hand in and then dying to the warden that grian and etho brought to the surface. so like. he's not had the best track record

i am so glad we have heartstopper. i love queer media that talks about mental health, trauma and all the serious stuff but at the same time shows us that we can be and are more than just our setbacks. i am glad we have it, and i am glad many queer kids growing up will have it too. i know many people have the criticism that they don't want to see kids holding hands where "nothing happens" etc but you have to understand this targets a certain demographic (and it does have more serious stuff, you'd know if you gave it a chance). it is healing something in me, 15 year old me would've killed to have something even remotely similar to this. it is truly well written, all the characters are fleshed out and i love everything about this show sorry not sorry.

"you took vicodin" and his face fell in a way i remember seeing when she said he should stop taking methodone or quit (and he decided to quit, because every day is a low level agony and every day no one else limps and every day has a chance to be normal to be cloudless to be free and of course of course you choose freedom) and his voice breaking on "i was scared" because house never admits that he's scared never ever not since his dad left him outside and the cold and the animals and the terror gripped him in a vice for days and "you took vicodin because you didn't want to deal with the pain... pain happens because you care." and grief being something that house is intimately aware of and terrified of, because that means he wasn't good enough - he didn't think quick enough, he failed to meet the bar (his own bar, so high. impossible high. a bar no one else even hopes for.) and pain being ever present and the impossibility of dealing with such a huge emotion when all you do is try to avoid it - and when it comes to you like a release of the floodgates, its the most horrible thing in the world. from a world where emotion is weakness and the only comfort you'll be given is your own, but surely its better to remove the need? of course you avoid it. who wouldn't?
