hey so cool stuff there was an infrastructure attack in my home state with the intent of shutting down a (private, ticketed, adults only) drag event.

here's my initial coverage of it.

here's a twitter thread explaining what is being investigated.

proud boys in NC stated repeatedly they weren't going to protest this event due to it being adults only. but their telegram went fully silent yesterday evening after celebrating a drag event cancelation in ohio.

an email from a person to me states "According to Southern Pines/Aberdeen residents, break-ins to banks, gas stations, local Walmart’s, and family stores have begun across town."

so. keep the NC LGBTQ community in your thoughts right now. this is an act of terrorism.
