While I love the Six of Crows fandom, I think a lot of people get Kaz's character wrong a lot of the time

Sure, I know as well as anybody that Kaz is badass, but he's also a complete boy failure when it comes to Inej

Yeah he's witty and smart, but he's also an angsty ass teenager (have you SEEN that one 'I feed it the finest cuts of meat' line?)

We all focus on how badass he is so much that we forget that he's a TEENAGER

An absolute edge lord of a teenager that is whipped for the girl he likes

no but the fact that we literally have a dialogue with Kaz telling them one of the mistakes a man could ever make is patting his pockets, alerting every thief 'round the corner where he keeps his precious and then INEJ GETS KIDNAPPED THE SAME WAY, WITH KAZ LOOKING AT HER. KAZ IS THE MAN, INEJ THE PRECIOUS AND VAN ECK THE THIEF.
