Alice of Human Sacrifice, but it’s the second Doctor’s era.

I have a good idea of who is who, though I don’t know if it’d all make sense to anyone but myself. The people in the song would be seen in a different light, I’d think, but the meaning would stay the same.

I’d say it goes:

The Doctor is the dream.

The first Alice is Victoria.

Victoria would be different from the first Alice in the sense that, while the first Alice is driven to violence through sadism, Victoria would be driven to violence through fear. Her need to protect herself what be what ultimately kills her. She believes herself to be a monster.

The second Alice is Ben. Had the dream not suited the Doctor so well, he would’ve been the second Alice.

Still, Ben is charming—he knows his way with people.

Being the second Alice, he killed by his false sense of security—something he never thought he’d develop.

The third Alice is Polly.

Unlike the third Alice, Polly isn’t self absorbed. Still, she comes from a more privileged life—it affects how she sees things.

Having become the third Alice, Polly would find herself separated from others. She’d want to help people, but to do so would mean obtaining a power she doesn’t have.

The third Alice, however, was driven mad with power—fearing she’d lose what had gotten her there. Obsessing over her looks in an attempt to hold onto what she thought she’d wanted.

Finally, the fourth Alice would be Zoe and Jamie.

Zoe is inteligent and thoughtful. Jamie is quick-thinking and loyal. Together, they make it to the end of Wonderland.

Near the beginning of their journey, Jamie found a sword—he took it to protect the two of them, not knowing it belonged to Victoria (the first Alice).

Sometime afterwards, Jamie and Zoe are walking through what feels to be an endless forest, and Jamie finds himself singing a song—again, not knowing that Ben (the second Alice) had also sung it.

(I don’t know how to involve Jamie with Polly—the third Alice—but if anyone has any ideas, please tell me!)

Overtime, while things go well for Zoe and Jamie, something is still wrong. They’ve done everything right, but now they’re at the end of Wonderland, and Jamie can’t possibly leave. He’s no longer as pure was he was before—Wonderland had polluted a part of him he didn’t know he had. It’d been subtle, but it was there.

(Idk how Jamie is killed. I fear I didn’t think that far ahead.)

Every Alice has a mark on their skin, with the mark being representative of their card. Victoria has a spade, Ben a diamond, and Polly a club. Zoe and Jamie, however, had their mark split in two. One half of the heart is on Zoe, the other half on Jamie.

Both of them were required to make up the card—you couldn’t have one without the other.

It didn’t matter is Zoe had done everything right—it didn’t matter if she hadn’t been corrupted. Without the other half of the card, she’s unable to leave Wonderland.

I find it so funny, in light of TikTok’s imminent American demise, that even now they aren’t considering moving to tumblr. The last two social media refugee crises (Twitter -> X and whatever happened with Reddit) prompted a wave of wide-eyed new baffled tumblr users to flood this app and yet last I heard all of the tiktokers are flooding en-masse a Chinese social media app. That is entirely in Mandarin. Instead of moving to tumblr.

mercy seems like a long shot here, so my prayer for inauguration day 2025: may they be incompetent. may they just be really bad at implementation. may their egos choke their effectiveness. may they drown themselves week by week with infighting and selfish posturing. may they be easily distracted. may the very governors and senators and agencies and religious leaders that the new administration expects to be friendly force endless stalemates to preserve their own power. may every delay turn into a three ring blame circus so chaotic that no one remembers what they were doing. may the good and necessary parts of government be too boring to draw attention and keep running quietly in the background. may the next four years be full of sound and fury and signify nothing.

Nope now it’s at the point that i’m shocked that people off tt don’t know what’s going down. I have no reach but i’ll sum it up anyway.

SCOTUS is hearing on the constitutionality of the ban as tiktok and creators are arguing that it is a violation of our first amendment rights to free speech, freedom of the press and freedom to assemble.

SCOTUS: tiktok bad, big security concern because china bad!

Tiktok lawyers: if china is such a concern why are you singling us out? Why not SHEIN or temu which collect far more information and are less transparent with their users?

SCOTUS (out loud): well you see we don’t like how users are communicating with each other, it’s making them more anti-american and china could disseminate pro china propaganda (get it? They literally said they do not like how we Speak or how we Assemble. Independent journalists reach their audience on tt meaning they have Press they want to suppress)

Tiktok as a community has chosen to collectively migrate TO a chinese owned app that is purely in Chinese out of utter spite and contempt for meta/x and the gov that is backing them.

My fyp is a mix of “i would rather mail memes to my friends than ever return to instagram reels” and “i will xerox my data to xi jinping myself i do not care i share my ss# with 5 other people anyway” and “im just getting ready for my day with my chinese made coffee maker and my Chinese made blowdryer and my chinese made clothing and listening to a podcast on my chinese made phone and get in my car running on chinese manufactured microchips but logging into a chinese social media? Too much for our gov!” etc.

So the government was scared that tiktok was creating a sense of class consciousness and tried to kill it but by doing so they sent us all to xiaohongshu. And now? Oh it’s adorable seeing this gov-manufactured divide be crossed in such a way.

This is adorable and so not what they were expecting. Im sure they were expecting a reluctant return to reels and shorts to fill the void but tiktokers said fuck that, we will forge connections across the world. Who you tell me is my enemy i will make my friend. That’s pretty damn cool.

imagine how much of a fucking horrible person you have to be that on the first day your elected into office the crisis calls of a Suicide Prevention Project Go Up 33%. The Trevor Project Received over 1,400 Call By Early Monday Afternoon. Most of those calls, if not all, are coming from children. Children scared of you and what you will do. Imagine how much power and how horrible you have to be to do that.
