our house got broken into last night/early early morning. i'm really rattled and struggling to feel safe...

three people's keys were stolen - and my housemate's car was stolen as well...

i have spare car key and my car is still here, and we've changed the locks to the house and gotten security cameras

but i can't settle and i keep feeling like someone's going to break in again.

#i also have to sort out how the fuck i'm going to afford the excess for my insurance claim to get the barrels and ignition changed on my car #so that's going to be fun #and we'll deal with the real estate on monday #i don't know i fi want to even do dnd tomorrow now

why do i keep seeing whole videos on advice for artfight from “veterans” or whatever. here’s all the advice you need:

you don’t need to draw every day

you don’t need to fully render every drawing, sketches still count and the person receiving it will still love it

you don’t need a fully polished ref sheet for every single character, having a basic one or even just a colour palette along with whatever other art you’ve done works fine in most cases

you don’t need to draw a fully rendered piece every single day do not burn yourself out or injure yourself for funny little internet points good lord
