I was just considering it from the angle of how Zeus handled the punishment in "Thunderbringer" and how Athena goes against her dad in "God Games", if that makes sense to you. Danny is glad he actually made a plan for once. Jazz had been on his back about telling their parents he was Phantom, and he had managed to convince her he had a plan. The only thing that would extend how long it took was the frequency of ghost attacks.

He generally didn’t have much free time, so luckily Clockwork was willing to put him in a time bubble so he could get stuff done, like get enough sleep. But mostly he was training. Sometimes with Wulf to make portals, but other ghosts had come by too.

The power that was giving him the most trouble, and that he needed most for his plan was duplication. It took forever and he still couldn’t have more than 3 versions of himself at one time. How Vlad managed so many he had no idea.

Anyway back to his plan. He got all his stuff that he couldn’t afford to lose hidden away, got copies of all his parents blueprints and files, replaced items that he didn’t feel comfortable letting them keep if worse case scenario came, and a few more miscellaneous things.

He decided not to tell Sam and Tucker what he was doing. Though he did give them a mysterious file that they weren’t able to open yet. It would lead them to him later. But he needed their reactions to be legitimate, even if he hated having to potentially distress them for a bit.

He then sent his duplicate in his place back home while he went to the Ghost Zone to keep learning and keep an eye on things. Hopefully things went well, but he planned to spend a full living realm month here just in case his parents faked taking it well.

It did not go well. About two weeks after his duplicate told his parents they knocked him out and buried him in a ghost proof coffin. Was he glad he wouldn’t have to experience his worse fears as a lab experiment? Yes. Was he still going to have nightmares of being trapped underground unable to escape? Also yes.

He was glad it was his duplicate though. It was easy for him to undo from a distance and since they had been connected he still had all the memories. He typed in the code for the file he gave his friends before he left. Time to go to Gotham, the one place he was able to wheedle out of Clockwork would be best for him.

I feel like it is potentially not the wildest idea that perhaps if you Hate Christmas and are going to be a Rude Ass Cunt for the entire evening it may be a good idea to not demand that the holiday happens at your house? Demanding that *you host* claiming that you *love hosting* and then, actually, getting mad at everyone for every little thing and overall just having an obnoxious attitude complaining left right and centre over any thing you can think of

You can just choose to not be a part of the holiday. You can be a grown ass adult and say “I don’t want to receive or give gifts this year” or “I’m not liking hosting so let’s do it elsewhere” or any number of potential communication tactics that aren’t Snapping At Everyone For Any Given Reason

nmmm probably the mix of the flats color with the lineart? im talking specifically about that red lineart i've been doing lately bc since i only have to put it in multiply to make it work with the colors and i can skip painting the lineart and still make it look good lol

(lately i also enjoy doing shadows but it gets kinda boring sometimes)

oh and my favorite stuff to draw are def girls, any type of girl, just tell me "its a girl" and i gain 20+ motivation points ("few men are good looking but all women are beautiful" type of philosophy lmao)

but more specifically long hair like (comms as examples bc it's the half of my folder and i dont do long hairs that often)

i also enjoy pigtails a lot. its hard to pick just one stuff tbh i could go all day yapping about myself JKASDFHJK

my mom recently reminded me that when i was in 5th grade my teacher would periodically report to her that i was "sneaky" because i would ask to use the bathroom during class and instead go retrieve things from my locker that i had forgotten to bring with me

and even at the time she thought this was ridiculous and obviously not representative of an intrinsically deceitful nature, fortunately for me. but it's really extra ridiculous looking back on it now as a 28-year-old research professional who has to double back into the room i just left for some combination of gloves, tube rack, ice bucket, or samples at least once a day, a quality absolutely no one cares about or would ever make me justify to another person and which i therefore don't have to tell contrived lies about

SO i've got a ton of creative projects i've been wanting to pursue, but it's super hard to justify prioritizing them over paid work. to that end, especially as i near the finish line on writing season 3 of starship iris, i've been thinking about getting my mostly-dormant Patreon running again.

YOUR ART IS SO VERY INTERESTING WHAT you are apparently really good at coloring and perspective and composition but- besides them all the idea behind them are so interwsting??? even your simple character drawings seem to have a thought behind them?? i don't know how to explain myself they are so memorable- im really glad to see them on my dash :)
