3.7 Revelations
The Watchers gathered for Revalations. The cat is out of the bag about Angel. Faith’s new watcher is in town, and she’s very concerned about the McGuffin. Twists and turns and manipulation. Xander is both horrible and not-horrible in this ep. Xillow continues to not be terribly believable. Angel mysteriously knows things. The McGuffin is not terribly impressive

It’s a door!
The iconic scene in G-Rev where Kai tells Bryan and Spencer that “it’s a door, genius” bothers me. Like okay, yeah super snarkcastic Kai snaps back in classic Kai fashion, BUT where is super snarky B-Boys? Where’s Bryan dramatic snarky clutching of his pearls because this THIS is a door?! Spencer, look it’s a door! Come, take a picture! They must take pictures and show Ian! A door! Ian will never believe that they got to see one up close. And Kai is so benevolent to show them the secret of the door.
And poor Ian back in Russia just gets a weird ass message of Bryan posing in front of a door -- like wtf?! And then Spencer with the door. And then the open pictures and the closed door pictures. And then both boys selfie with the door. And Kai in the background looking super done because he left himself open for that.
Like it wasn’t battling with the two that left Kai looking so worn and run down. It was fifteen minutes of mental fuckery because he was being a snippy little prick and refused to answer a genuine question.
Honestly, you expect me to believe the B-Boys grew up in that dodgy as fuck abbey and they were slain by that burst of sarcasm? Ha, no.
#beyblade#this is just a joke#i get the scene was super serious#but honestly we should have got this scene

Drake for the character ask? 😊
• Drake is pretty much the fictional male version of me. I appreciate his snarkasm, loyalty and squishy inside.• Initially his bitterness kind of bothered me. Now it’s the lack of confidence he has in regard to how (my) MC feels for him.• I loved the star gazing scene. I also am quite fond of the chapter tonight.• So far, book one. I don’t feel like he’s been given enough to do so far in book 2.• Heh. (heh!)• The blue button up? Maybe the towel from the spa scene in book two? 😁• Drake x MC, of course!• Maxwell x Drake (They’re so adorakble with each other)• Drake is a manly man. He has a hard time letting go of his cloak of masculinity and honestly before this... whatever it is, with MC he’s never had to worry about it. Now there’s things like impromptu picnics and picking flowers just to see her smile. He’s actually quite happy to have found someone who makes him a little soft... even if he’s grumbly about it.• I like Drake. 😂 • I wish that MC would actually get some honest to goodness time with him. The restaurant was nice, but it would be awesome for them to actually be able to talk/interact/be themselves without paparazzi or Liam worries.• Please don’t ever change his attitude/friendship with Maxwell! It’s hysterical how Drake behaves with him. I cackle almost every time they interact.• Loyal - guarded - handsome - snarkcastic - marshmallow • Grumpy pants 😂Thank you @violetflipflops for the ask and choosing my boy Drake! 💙

2.6 Annihilation
This movie is spectacularly beautiful and was abandoned at the last minute by Paramount’s publicity department. Not so much based on Jeff Vandermeer’s book as set in the roughly the same world, this movie tells the story of an expedition into the Southern Reach’s Area X.
Rule: Don’t cheat on your spouse.

2.5 Winchester
Listen, we understand. By the time this episode goes up, you’ve already forgotten that a movie named Winchester ever existed. If it helps, we spend a lot of time talking about other movies (Terminator, Alien, Scooby Doo, Caligula, and so many more…)
Seriously, don’t worry about watching the movie first. Sure, we spoil the hell out of it, but were you really planning to see it anyway?
So, listen to this episode because you love our sparkling personalities!
Rule: Reload the bullet – if you’ve ever been shot to death and recovered.

2.3 The Girl With All The Gifts
Your Polterguides watched the post-apoc fungus-zombie flick The Girl with All the Gifts. We really enjoyed this movie and you will too! Glenn Close is amazing and the Hungries are super creepy.

2.2 Bride of Frankenstein
Your Polterguides would like to apologize in advance for their rendition of “There’s a Light.” We’re so sorry.
The Polterguides watched the Universal Classic Bride of Frankenstein. The 1935 classic holds up amazingly well after more than 80 years. Your Polterguides loved Mary Shelly’s sass, Dr. Praetorius’ little people in jars, and what actually went into the new monster’s brain.
If you haven’t seen Bride, SEE IT. You’ll notice its influence on everything from Weird Science to the Rocky Horror Picture Show (hence the weird cat-like screeching we subject you to at the beginning).
Rule: Make sure people want to be your friend

2.17 Supernatural
The Snarkers discuss Supernatural!
We discuss our favorite characters, the show’s problematic but dramatically improving treatment of female characters, the relationships, the acting, and Jared doing chin-up shirtless. Also, learn the terrible things Donna has done to Pops.
Also, Snark is saying goodbye to Michele. After over a year as a Snarker, Michele is leaving the protective Snarkcasts cocoon. We will miss you, Michele!

1.16 Event Horizon
The Polterguides took a ride on the Event Horizon. We talk about the interesting marketing choices that doomed the movie to failure, the weird dystopian future with really ugly underwear, inappropriate use of surgical equipment as weaponry, and whether or not Cooper is in the wrong movie.
Rule: Be Cooper. If you’re gonna be anybody, be Cooper.

1.15 IT (2017)
This film, based on Stephen King’s book of the same name, speaks for itself. The acting, especially on the part of the kids, is amazing. We loved this film.

The Watchers gathered for Bad Eggs. Sunnydale students are given eggs and told to treat them like babies. Turns out, they are babies. Baby bezoars (not the medical kind, “pre-pre-historic” parasites).
Buffy has to battle the Gorch brothers, her controlled friends and watchers, and deal with being grounded
