from amusement or happiness that she's accepting the ring

to confusion that she's holding out her actual ring finger on her LEFT HAND,

to some mix of surprise and something vulnerable here,

And finally to some mix of contentment and amusement again

And not only is this detailing amazing from the devs, but it's also showing us how even Sylus is surprised we've let him in and are being so affectionate with him, even if there's an undertone of teasing and I'm just--

i adore how quick the boys are to help crutchie when he needs it. no discussion, no pity, just support.

when morris pushes him over, it isn't jack (who is right there) who helps him up, neither is it race nor romeo, who we saw him interact with earlier in the song. it's albert who helps him up, and it's albert who carries him until he gets his crutch back. did they have a system? was it albert's job to carry crutchie when needed? was it because they're close friends, and we just never get to see it again? or was it that any of the newsies would have done it, but albert happened to be the closest?

when the nuns hand out food, kid blink and smalls don't hesitate before hoisting him onto their shoulders. jack and specs both place their hands on his back to ensure that he doesn't fall backwards. it's so smooth, so natural, like they've done it a million times before.

and note: i don't think crutchie interacts with any of those characters (albert, kid blink, smalls) at any other moment in the musical.

conclusion: crutchie is so so loved.

It’s exciting!! I’ve been waiting a while for this one! I hope people have been as excited as I’ve been! Maybe sometime I’ll create a more detailed/flushed out drawing, but for now I’m happy with this drawing given the short amount of time I gave myself.

Being loosely a part of this fandom has definitely helped me in my art journey and inspired me to become a better creator.

Found old plasticine in the lab. Behold, a creature

#dragon #sculpting #old plasticine hits different #idk what they put in it back then but it was a lot tougher than modern kids' plasticine #which was awesome because it holds shape so much better and it's so much easier to make small details #nowadays you only get that in 'grown up' sculpting plasticine which comes only in white beige and olive colors :/#the only downside is that it's tougher to shape but it was fine for me as a kid >:v #.......inb4 someone tells me that the reason for modern kids' plasticine being soft is because it uses some safer ingredients or something

#world of warcraft #anduin wrynn #wrathion #wranduin #varian wrynn #LIKE theres a head to body ratio that cant be messed up and drawing the eyes wrong will make them look weird #And youve got to consider how to put detail in a small area and how to represent different body types its such a hassle #That said chibi styles are so fun to do and you can do fullbody work with (usually) slightly less work then an actual fullbody #so figuring out how your personal style is translated into chibi is so worth it #So this was me making a chibi style #but i drew these in 2021 so i should do a redraw or something #but i havnt drawn many chibis since so its probably not changed much

Me: EAH has a bunch of plotholes and retcons, I don't have to believe everything canon tells me because it gets things wrong or just flatout contradicts itself at times and it is no use getting hung up on small details that ultimately don't matter in the grand scheme of the story.

Also me: [Trying to come up with a way to explain the whole "the Evil Queen stole the Dark Fairy's destiny" detail]

#my current proposal is time travel #but that too has its flaws #ever after high #eah #we could go with fairies and other magic users just become older than 100 but that contradicts class of classics #not a big deal considering class of classics shows the wonderlandian parents at eah even though by all accounts they should not be there #(note: while possible it just doesn't make sense to me personally)#(by the things the books have told us so far it doesn't make sense to me)#anywAY #my other theory is that the Sleeping Beauty role gets passed down differently #like the currently Sleeping Beauty is still sleepin for a bit and her sibling's first born gets the Sleeping Beauty destiny #like it keeps switching. sleeping beauty sleeps and the next sleeping beauty is the last one's sibling's first born and after the sleeping #sleeping beauty wakes up and gets children and that first one becomes the next sleeping beauty while their cousin sleeps #did I explain that coherently?#anyways in the end it is just a small detail that doesn't really change the plot if you leave it out of the story so it doesn't really #matter in the end. however as a fan of the show I just like thinking about these things #(to explain further on the other thing Briar would be the daughter of A sleeping beauty and the one sleeping before her would be her cousin #who would be the child of her aunt who was not a sleeping beauty
