Not only would this guys super relate to each other, but I also think they would have a REALLY great father and son relationship between them since Rezo was such a shitlord. They would bond over how stupid their groups' decisions are.

funniest joke in all of slayers and most anime tbh

context: lina and co really want to eat dragon meat so they're talked into helping this chef catch a dragon, who to guilt them into helping tells each of them individually that they all remind him of a separate dead family member. after the fact, they still have to wait 6 months for the meals to be completed, so they all figure this guy was a charlatan lying to have the work done for him

The last frame of the episode reveals "no actually, this dudes entire family did just happen to uncannily look like lina and her friends"
