Salt Slinging Swine- Shou Hakkai

Shou Hakkai aka The Big Pigsy is the Boar Master of the martial arts federation known as the Zodiac Ring. Though he officially represents the Boar with the Japanese martial art of sumo-wrestling, he's adopted a delinquent stage persona who shoves the traditions of the sport with his loud getup, brutal arm and leg sweeps, and the use of purified salt in his punches and slaps. Think you can take on this rebellious rikishi?

I'm running a game of Gubat Banwa and one of my players, @shishibro, didn't have unique art of their Kadungganan, Hakim, so I took it upon myself to design him!

Kenji's Best of 2024

2024 has been a crazy, hectic, and stressful year for me. I had to make some really tough decisions in the face of my imminent burnout due to my day job, the current state of politics here in the United States, and overall feelings of self-doubt and insecurity. I've been an active artist for the past ten years of my life, and for the longest time I felt like I wasn't getting to where I wanted to be.  But... seeing this collage, which is only a fraction of everything that I managed to do in the past year alone... I realize I've gotten FAR in my journey, and I should be proud of that. In this past year alone, I did the following:  -Did my first collab with an artist who does woodcut displays for gay bars and events - Got my first brand collab with Huff Aromas - Released my first real manga pages (even if that's on a hiatus for the next thing I'm doing)  - And... AND! Became an art director and character designer for an indie platformer-beat'em up hybrid game!  The me from my first year of college would be immensely proud of how far I've come. And despite all the rough shit coming our way... I don't plan on stopping. There will be more pieces to come, especially for Rock E Rumble. And also... I'll be doing more with the Shinobi Yokai and Liminal Displacement as OCs free to explore different things on the side with my friends and fellow furry artists.  Anyway, that's all for now. I'll see you all in 2025!

Bewitching Broadcast, p.2

"Kenji Shishimaru finds himself stranded in a hollow, desolate mirror realm to the place he calls home. But before he can process the bleak panorama, he is accosted by a mysterious entity that seems to know him personally. Just who is this demon?" At long last, the time has come! Prepare yourselves for a journey into the world of the Shinobi Yokai! From now until the completion of the comic, I'll be releasing new pages on a bi-weekly basis (unless anything comes up which will require me to delay the comic or I decide to go on vacation). While this comic will be simultaneously released on all my galleries, Patrons will get to see the WIPs of upcoming pages two weeks before they're posted. All comments and feedback are greatly appreciated. Shishibro, out!

The smell of something delicious stirs you from an uneasy slumber, and you discover that this dwarf found you unconscious on a lower level of the dungeon and nursed you back to health. When you ask him what ingredients he’s using, he plainly states that it’s an omelet made from basilisk egg, meat, and mandrake root. He tells you he’s been cooking with monster parts for years now, and insists that you give it a try. Do you accept his offer? Or do you spot something tastier on display?

Senshi is easily one of the GOATs of anime men, and as soon as I learned how much fan service he gets in the anime and manga, I just had to draw him. This probably won’t be the last time I do, that’s for sure.
