Satoshi and hikari panicking in sync and turning to each other is so cute, I always loved that about them, cutest besties (and a cute ship, too!)

i wanted to participate in bweirdart's OC-tober prompts at least a little bit so here's my art for day 1: my faves! i have a type in ocs and its funny comic relief type guys that also get into scrapes sometimes, and i truly couldn't pick just one! while they exist in completely different universes, Takeshi's oc verse exists as an obscure horror movie franchise in Felipe's world, and Takeshi would definitely be a favorite protag of Felipe's. i love the overlap of oc worlds!!!

anyway it's also funny that both of these guys as characters are quite old (i was in elementary school when i made Takeshi, and middle school for Felipe) but they've been redesigned and repurposed for my current oc worlds. i love doing that it just makes them even more precious to me!! on top of everything else they got going on no wonder they're my favorites <3

Surprise! We're Dating

Chikarin finds out about Tatsuya and Jun's romantic relationship so the two boyfriends rush to come out to their close friends before the rumor spreads.

Story under break

“What's up?” Tatsuya asked Jun, not getting up from his bed. Jun had just returned to Tatsuya's room after getting a phone call from Lisa.

“The ceiling,” Jun replied in a monotonous voice. He sat down next to Tatsuya and kept his phone in his breast pocket.

“Haha. Nice,” Tatsuya chuckled sarcastically and shifted his body to turn to Jun.

“So, it turns out Chikarin saw us on a date.”

“Oh?”

“Yes ‘oh.’”

Tatsuya scratched his head and let out a huge yawn, “Uhuh.”

Jun shrugged at Tatsuya and leaned against his folded legs. The both of them stayed silent, not a single thought in their head.

“I guess it's time for us to come out.” Jun plopped his head next to Tatsuya’s.

“I guess it is,” Tatsuya agreed with Jun.

“So Tatsuya and I have been dating for 3 weeks.” Jun revealed to Eikichi before taking a bite out of his cheese pizza.

“What?” Eikichi almost choked on his drink. Jun seemed so nonchalant, he was called a waitress to get him more iced tea.

“Yep.” Jun stole jumbo popcorn shrimp from Eikichi’s plate but Eikichi was too shocked to notice.

“That makes me angry for some reason,” Eikichi crossed his arms and huffed a puff of air out.

Jun stopped chewing and checked on Eikichi's expression. His lips pursed, his brows furrowed, his eyes fixated on the ground… Eikichi was genuinely upset.

“Do you hate me being gay?” Jun asked seriously.

“Oh, I don't care about that.” Eikichi gave a stiff nod. “I'm more so pissed that it's Tacchan.”

Jun watched Eikichi sheepishly chew on a popcorn shrimp and smiled to himself.

“What? You jealous?” Jun asked with a small grin on his face. Eikichi was kinda annoyed at the smug look on his best friend's face.

“It would've been fine if it was one of the boys or something but Tacchan?! My rival?” Eikichi’s body shook at the idea of the betrayal his best friend committed.

“I still love you, don't worry.” Jun rolled his eyes and patted Eikichi's back.

“Not as much as Tacchan!” Eikichi rolled his eyes at Jun as well.

“True that.” Jun stopped rubbing Eikichi’s back and slapped it hard before grabbing his newly refilled iced tea.

After that, it was silent. Eikichi seemed to be deep in thought but Jun decided to not pry. After all, he did just come out and that must be a lot to process for Eikichi.

“Hey, Jun.” Eikichi said seriously. Jun glanced at his direction for him to continue.

“So, you like guys?” Eikichi asked for confirmation.

“Yes, I like men.” Jun confirmed.

“So if you like guys and I'm a guy...”

Jun took a deep breath. He had a feeling he knew where this was going.

“Can you confirm if I'm really a cool, handsome, mysterious, and suave sexyman?!” Eikichi grabbed Jun by the shoulders.

“Huh?”

“No because, I know I'm all of those things.” Eikichi dramatically grabbed the shirt over his chest. “But I'm a man and I don't like men that way! I need a survey. Am I attractive?!”

Jun didn't really expect for the question to go towards this direction but he couldn't help but laugh at Eikichi. He felt guilty about doubting his sincerity for a moment there.

Jun grabbed Eikichi’s shoulders and smirked, “you're the coolest guy I know, Michel. You know I love you, you crazy little shit.”

Eikichi was about to celebrate until he remembered that he still technically hasn't beaten Tatsuya since Jun is with Tatsuya!

The school boss stuffed his face with jumbo shrimp and pizza, unconsciously going above his usual diet.

“Brother, I've been dating Jun for almost a month now and yes, I like men.” Tatsuya said this so out of the blue that Tatsuya almost dropped the cake batter he was mixing.

“You’re WHAT?!” Katsuya unconsciously screamed so loudly, the whole neighborhood probably heard .

“Geez, don't be so overdramatic.” Tatsuya clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes.

“Don’t be— YOU JUST TOLD ME YOU'RE GAY?”

“I mean not really. I just said I liked men. I like both men and women so I'm technically not gay.” Tatsuya clarified. “It's called being bisexual, Brother, be more aware or something.”

“YOU–!!!!! Hah….” Katsuya sighed out loud and pinched the skin in between his brows. His brother was just so… unbelievable, it took every fiber in his body to not just lash out.

“Stop being so loud. An underclassman of mine apparently saw us on a date and took a photo of us with Jun’s arm around my waist so I'm telling people personally before it gets out.” Tatsuya scolded his brother and shook his head.

Katsuya had no words. He simply stared at Tatsuya who seemingly had no care in the world. He's just shoving potato chips down his hatch as if he didn't just break the peace of Katsuya’s afternoon.

Maya, rubbing her eyes, popped in the kitchen. She let out a huge yawn before asking, “Why are you so loud? What's happening?”

Katsuya opened his mouth before closing it. He raised a finger and opened it again but decided to just taste some of the chocolate cake batter to check if it had enough sugar.

Katsuya may be with Maya but he isn't a snitch against his brother!

“Brother found out I’m dating Jun,” Tatsuya revealed.

“Oh, cool?”

Katsuya placed the bowl he was mixing on the countertop with tremendous force. “You knew?!”

“I mean, yeah, I talked to him about gender and sexuality. He's bisexual, by the way.”

“YOU’RE THE ONE WHO TALKED TO HIM?”

“Katsuya-san please, don't yell so early in the morning….” Maya rubbed her temples.

“It's already 1pm, Maya-nee….” Tatsuya pointed out.

Katsuya’s world was collapsing and he couldn't help but grab the nearest chair for support. He covered his eyes with his hands and controlled his breathing to calm down.

“Don't tell me you're against them Katsuya-san. I'm seriously gonna break up with you if you're homophobic. I had a thing with Ulala back in high school, you know.” Maya scoffed.

Katsuya raised a hand at Maya and shook his head. “Who else knows?”

“Jun is telling Eikichi right now… Lisa knows.”

“Lisa-chan knows?!” This day is just full of surprises for Katsuya it seems.

“Maya-nee told me to tell Lisa before I confessed to Jun. Maya-nee was concerned that Lisa was going to do something drastic if she wasn't emotionally prepared for it.” Tatsuya explained.

“Wanna know how she took it?” Maya asked in a sing-song voice to which Katsuya just weakly nodded in response.

“Remember that time when the MUSES fans caused a mob in the Aoba Concert Hall because Lisa-chan came out in full punk clothing and sang a screamo song about hating men?” Maya recounted.

“You mean to say that—”

“Yup.” Tatsuya nodded.

“Oh my God….” Katsuya slumped on his chair, defeated.

“What's his deal?” Tatsuya asked Maya.

“I don't know either, Tatsuya-kun.” Maya shrugged and sat down next to Tatsuya.

The two chatted while Maya ate the pancakes that the brothers saved for her breakfast.

“Wait, so, you're telling me you approached Amano-kun before you talked to me?” Katsuya recovered from his slump and asked seriously.

“Yeah.” Tatsuya nodded.

“You HAVE to tell me these things!!!” Katsuya emphasized. “I have to talk to you about dating etiquette, about consent, about the appropriate behavior and attires, the birds and the bees even!”

“HELL NO. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I DIDN'T TELL YOU!” Tatsuya’s face turned red at the thought of discussing sex with his brother.

“Do you even know how it works between two men, Katsuya-san?” Maya asked seriously.

“No!!! Which is also why I should be aware of these things! What if you both get into something dangerous and I didn't know?”

“Just what do you think we get up to?!” Tatsuya threw his hands in the air.

Maya knew she couldn't really do anything when the brothers were like this. She stood up, grabbed her plate of pancakes, and left to watch TV in the living room.

“So guys, I'm dating Tatsuya.” Jun announced after the Gas Chamber dress rehearsals.

“What?” Takeshi, Shougo and Ken all said in unison.

“Tatsuya Suou from Sevens.” Jun reiterated.

The three glanced at their boss and Eikichi just nodded to confirm.

“Does, does this mean that we're in an alliance with Sevens now because you and Tatsuya are in a political marriage?” Shougo asked seriously.

“Does that mean our territory also technically extends to Sevens?!” Ken jumped excitedly.

“Oh my God, guys. I didn't even think of that.” Eikichi pounded his fist into his open palm.

“Let's go to Izakaya Shiraishi to celebrate! Ramen’s on me, guys!!” Takeshi declared and the group got out of Sumaru Prison cheering loudly.

There were Sevens students in the streets, mostly women. Shougo tried to wave at them but they all cowered in fear.

“Oh no, Cuss High students….”

“Isn't that Eikichi Mishina? We're so dead….”

Ken approached the group and smiled, “Don't worry! Through the political marriage of Suou and our Jun-senpai, Cuss High doesn't have anything against Sevens!”

The students all looked at each other with confused looks on their faces.

“Marriage?”

“Suou? Do they mean Suou-senpai?”

“Senpai has a lover?! From Cuss High?!?!”

“Sorry but I need to tell this to my bestie right now!”

Jun sighed and shook his head. He forgot to tell them that it was a secret. He supposed that he should've worried about his buddies rather than Chikarin.
