They love chasing each other and pushing their buttons until it drives one of them completely mad, but they also can be extremely romantic. With a good diner and a fine wine 🍷

Luviaarelp: Despite Haarlep's nature and the beginning of their relationship, it ended up being soft and tender... Their encounters are not always about carnal pleasure only and they occasionally meet to simply snuggle together. Also, Haarlep loves listening to Luvia's voice and she could easily read anything to them.

i know we have not a lot of information on astoria as a person, but the info we do have makes so much sense to me why draco fell so deeply in love with her. she was described as extremely kind, caring, and very open. she turned her back on pureblood traditions and beliefs— i don’ think yall get how big a deal that is. people make headcanons of the canon slytherin characters all the time but astoria is one of the only ones who genuinely fits the box of being a part of a noble pureblood family and rejecting their values (and she was probably in slytherin, which makes it ever rarer). she also seems extremely selfless— she wanted to have a baby just so draco wouldn’t be alone when she eventually died because she knew how hard it would be on him. draco had to turn against his own parents wishes and fight for their right to be married, which tells me astoria didn’t want to fight for herself and get in between draco’s relationship with his parents. considering draco’s character and all he sacrificed to honour his parents and have their approval, this was huge.

and then there’s that fucking letter bro. the one that draco writes to astoria on his birthday after she has passed away. HE STILL WRITES TO HER WHEN SHES GONE !!! this is like the equivalent of never deleting the number of someone who has died and letting the messages turn green because you know they wont respond but you’re doing it anyways because you miss them. ohhhhh im sick. draco loved her so so so much, she was his reason for redeeming himself and she gave him another reason to stay on that path once she was gone (scorpius).

i didnt mean for this to turn into such a rant in defense of drastoria but i’ve seen so many people complain about draco’s lack of a redemption arc and the fact that he gets with an unknown character instead of one of the main ones, but to me what we already have of drastoria is perfect. less ≠ bad ship.

tldr: draco and astoria make completeeeee sense.

Non-verbal ‘I love you’s

Such a good question! And I have so many thoughts!

I think Regulus’ non-verbal ‘I love you’ is initiating the small physical touches.

James is very touchy-feely, and Regulus becomes comfortable with that very quickly (the boy is touch starved) but he always waits for James and follows his lead. And I think Regulus feels more comfortable initiating the more… intense touches (the boy knows what he wants in the bedroom or the broom cupboard)

But it’s the little things… when he holds James’ hand first, or when he seeks out a cuddle, just to cuddle. Those are his ‘I love you’s. Especially early on when he loves James but can’t say the words yet.

And I think the first time Regulus holds James’ hand unprompted, James all but melts into the floor.

James is so much harder because that boy wears his heart on his sleeve, and he says ‘I love you’ verbally and not-verbally all the time. But I think one of the most intense is that small smile that’s just for Regulus. He smiles all the time, and it’s big and bright. But then there’s that moment where Regulus catches him staring and James gives him that barely there smile that only Regulus can see and only Regulus knows what it means. And I think that’s one of his most special ‘I love you’s

Ooph, this one was hard because once those boys love each other, they really love each other. And there are so many ways they show it. But I think these are some of the best. (At least when I write them!!)

Describe the kids/household: Two kids, the daughter is the oldest, and the son is the youngest. House is interesting, it’s built into a huge mountain range with ninja based interior for running, the kids are rather mundane so Dustin tries to get them out of their shells while Hunter tries to keep them from becoming iPad kids, and goes for Tori/Blake as well…DS and video games are fine but you’ll not catch any of the Bradley bros raising no children with some Cocomelon shit ☠️☠️☠️

2.)RJ/Casey

Who's the Mother Figure: Casey

Who's the Father Figure: RJ

Who's stricter: Casey, only cause of his past home life, wants to keep them safe but eases up whenever RJ or the others convince him.

Describe the kids/household: two rabid twins(one boy and one girl) and one older daughter they adopted after the two. The house is huge but sometimes it feels as if the two are fighting for their lives getting everyone assorted. RJ is very optimistic but tries to destress whenever everyone else falls asleep while Casey is losing it, Jarrod and Camille are the only ones allowed to babysit, and Finn as well.

3.)Izzy/Fern

Who's the Mother Figure: Izzy

Who's the Father Figure: Fern

Who's stricter: none

Describe the kids/household: Four kids, two boys and two girls. A little crazy but they manage. They live in four different houses with the kids wanting to alternate each week for some reason, they have a van but not cause of the huge family but instead cause they just like to travel in a pack anywhere they go. Izzy and Fern never have to worry about stress since the kids seem to be very independent, though that doesn’t stop Uncle Javi from trashing the place when he gets them hyper on marshmallows…two houses nearly burned down when one of the boys ran around with a torched twig.

i am very fond of galex. there's so many facets to it to explore. george's hero crush, alex owing his current seat to george's recommendation, childhood best friends, 2019 rookies together, george basically masterminding their entire narrative, lily's ongoing joke of "hi this is my boyfriend alex and this is his boyfriend george". they are weird about each other but fully own it and you know what i respect that greatly.

for the ask ship game: drastoria, jeddy and romione

romione: i feel like i shouldnt even talk and let the books do the talking for me. the slowburn was ferocious. the relationship building ate every other hp couple up. with each installation the verse puts out that includes them in it they’re even more in love. it makes me want to rip my hair out that so much romione content is sidelined for other ships and only exist as a side pairing to other ships. ron is so clearly the only one who makes sense for hermione and vice versa hermione to ron. i have never seen a good argument from a romione anti about why they shouldn’t be together or how they would not work out realistically. i can chalk every argument up to classism, a critique of ron’s portrayal in the movies, or a misunderstanding of character flaws that are exacerbated by PUBERTY and the general emotional instability of an average teenager. you look me in the eye and tell me you have never tweaked out when you were teenager. you look me in the eye and tell me that having magic wouldnt make that worse. i’ve actually already made an essay-long post about romione so lets not even get me started on it LOL

drastoria: i’ve already screamed about my reasons here.

jeddy: jeddy is hard because teddy and james sirius are mostly fanon so it’s difficult to ascertain whether they would make sense or not based on personality. we basically know nothing about teddy’s personality and get a handful of lines from james in the cursed child. they seem both to have a rebellious side— james opting to disobey his parents to have a good laugh and the rita skeeter article written about teddy at the quidditch world cup final (which could have been complete slander knowing skeeter) but from what little we do know— teddy is very close with the potter family (lily basically calls him family), presumably since he was born or at least very young since they consider each other family. teddy is also six years older than james. going off that alone, if teddy was around when james was very young, or even when he was born, then no, jeddy doesn’t make sense. it would be a bit creepy, no? fanonly, i’m 50/50– i’ve read some pretty shit jeddy fics but it comes with the territory of liking scorbus so i have to suck it up 😭 but yeah, its a no from me.
