⢠Dreamâs acceptance of a possibility the bad guys would change,
quickly turned into a ÂŤÂ I donât care about these clowns as long as they donât get near my brother  + going feral if the ever lay a hand on him is character development.
Aka : The bad guys, not knowing where their dear boss was, decided to kidnap the odd little skeleton who was said to be taken care of by.. Dream ?
Itâs hard to know for sure, usually Nightmare is the one to take care of the multiverse rumours, theyâre sort of the brawn but not really the brain.
While heâs gone, theyâve been looking around, but, unable to find much, neither Night, neither the leader or the Star SansesâŚ
That is, until they find Nighty. And, unaware of the monster behind this innocent child, lead to this scene.

Extra :
- i imagine the reverse of corruption, also absorbed bad memory and experiences. Most of them.. as such, Nighty can handle the bullying with less resilience than before, and as such, while being a smart and sharp thinking child, he gets scared easily by the outside of what heâs used to.
- I also imagine each star Sanses has their own weapon buckets ! Color coded ;]
- Dawn learned to control when his goop leaked, and when it didnât !
- bow can grow in size !

Another sideprofile of my D&D character SkĂśll.
I drew this before the session last Wednesday, saying that this is what he'll look like in a few weeks if traumatic things just keep happening to the party and him. But after that session... I think the only thing that still has to happen is that his beard grows out more.
I love him dearly and he needs a proper hug badly.
#dungeons and dragons#d&d#dnd#tiefling#art#original art#newtafterdark#oc talk#I had not intended for him to go down this route#he is literally just a former wrestler on a revenge quest#he is basically a monk bard with a lust for starting bar fights#unfortunately for him the rest of the group need a voice of reason#even more unfortunately for him stuff that has been (seemingly) normal for the group has been world-shattering for him#it all started when joining the gang only a few in-game weeks ago and it has just not stopped#I am EXCITED that I KNOW that it will only take one more event or comment for him to stop being the voice of reason... >:]c

Idk if you've seen it yet but if you go back to the pink seashell Beach website and click on the shell, it fades to black and said "The Beach was never real. None of it is" ????? It only worked for me when I opened it up in incognito on chrome
I have seen it! it works for me on firefox as well. when clicked, the seashell now flips around to reveal a baseball inside of it before the black screen appears.
also of note is that the submission feature is now completely gone. checking the site's source code confirms that the feature itself has been completely removed, not simply covered up. you literally cannot sign up anymore.
do not open before christmas.
#askin hours#the-glow-of-the-cities-below#gang i am so deeply afraidt.#is this weekend going t obe the thing that rewires my brain#all my assumptions re how they were going to release this? shattered.#fob is no longer on island. they are beholden to no label requirements.#they can literally just do this shit whenever

Bedridden
If you had cough syrup, youâd use that to put his ass to sleep. But you donât, so you decide to utilize a different technique, one that always successfully incapacitates a man. đđŚâ¤ď¸âđĽ
Joel is sick and refuses to rest, so you knock him out the best way you know how. (5.4k)
Tags - smut, lotsa sexual tension, blow jobs, pussy pronouns, teasing, fingering, unprotected piv, riding the sick old manâs cock, creampie, non-graphic descriptions of being sick. JOEL DOES THE DAD SNEEZE. coughing, fevers. Thatâs all. Joel is stubborn and grumpy while you take care of his old as fuck ass. Arguing with the old man, forcing the old man to bathe, forcing the old man to eat and drink, forcing a thermometer in the old manâs mouth. Joel bitching you out the whole time. Joel is kind of exactly like Dennis in IASIP when the gang gets quarantined. Fic Help - My usuals! @beefrobeefcal, your unhinged comments on the doc were the best part. and @endlessthxxghts thank you for your help <3 A/N - Heyyyyyyy. I promised this fic yesterday and then didnât deliver. Sorry. It just needed to marinate in the doc a little longer or something. Itâs been a bullshit ass few days and Iâm,,,,handling it. Anyway, Iâve been sick as balls so thatâs how this fic came about. Everybody wash your hands đ§ź
Thereâs a fine point late in the year, right after summer turns to fall. You can fall asleep with the window over your bed cracked open just an inch to let the crisp, cool air blow over your face as you cocoon yourself in blankets. In the mornings you wake to that same breeze and the birds chirping, though less and less as they fly south for the upcoming winter.Â
Not this morning, though. This morning, youâre awoken by a chesty, hacking cough coming from outside your window. You sigh as you get out of bed and push the curtains away from the window to get a better look at what the hell is going on out there.Â
And itâs just your neighbor, Joel. You should have guessed itâd be him, you heard his earth shattering, deafening sneeze the other day when you waved to him as you walked by his house. Joel waved back at you with the same hand he sneezed into. Ew.Â
Everyoneâs getting sick lately, it goes around quickly in Jackson. Always does - it starts with the kids and works its way through the community, and a good four to six weeks are filled with endless sneezing and coughing and mucus.
Joelâs coughing up his lungs as he rakes up the leaves in your yard, a job heâs seemingly assigned himself, because you sure as shit didnât ask him to do this. He has a habit of taking on your chores and home maintenance out of his own frustration.Â
You pull a robe over your pajamas and slide on a pair of slippers, then leave out of the front door to greet Joel. âGood morning, Joel.âÂ
Joel clears his throat. âSâactually noon, lazy ass. âBout time ya woke up.â
âWanna tell me what youâre doing?â
âExactly what it looks like.â He sniffles and wipes his nose on his sleeve. Gross. âMâworkinâ.âÂ
âYeah, I see that. But you sound sick.âÂ
Joel ignores the accusation, âYour yard looks like shit, by the way,â he says. âWouldnât kill ya to rake once in a while. âStead of makinâ me do it.âÂ
âYou choose to do this. I donât make you do anything,â you argue, rolling your eyes. Itâs funny, though. Joelâs turning into the caricature of the old man angrily shaking his fist at kids playing on his lawn. All crotchety and pissed off about nothing. You step closer to him and wrap your hand around the handle of the rake, pulling it towards yourself. âBesides, Mother Nature put those leaves there for a reason,â you add.Â
âSure, smartass. For you to ignore and for me to clean up. Now, give it,â Joel tugs the rake back. Whatever. You let him. Joel rakes more of your leaves into the pile heâs created, then doubles over in another coughing fit. You rub your palm on his back, patting him gently. Heâs sweating through his flannel. âOh, Christ. Fuck me.âÂ
âJoel, you look awful.â
You help him stand up, âYouâre a terrible flirt, darlinâ,â Joel replies dryly. But he knows youâre not wrong. He saw in the mirror how pale he looked this morning, the dark circles around his eyes.Â
âOh, shut up.â You press the back of your hand against Joelâs forehead, all sweaty and warm. âYouâre burning up, Joel. Youâre sick.âÂ
âI am not sick,â Joel protests through another cough. âIâm fine. How âbout you worry âbout yourself âstead of fussinâ over me.â
âYouâre hacking up a lung in my yard. Iâll worry about you all I want, thank you.â
In response, Joel grumbles something you canât quite make out. You roll your eyes and take the rake from him, dropping it on the grass. âMy rake,â Joel murmurs, annoyed and defeated. With your work clearly cut out for you, you take his hand and lead him into your house. âAw, hell. Whatâre you doinâ to me.âÂ
âTaking care of you,â you reply.
âDidnât sign up for this bullshit,â Joel complains. âI donât need takinâ care of.â
Oh, heâs a peach. Most men, when sick, are total babies - pathetically crying about their headaches and stomachaches to women who deal with the same symptoms on a monthly basis. Itâs charming, truly. But not Joel, though. In his stubbornness, Joel refuses to ever admit when heâs sick, like heâs got something to prove. Can never let himself be taken care of, because thatâs his job - to take care of others. Always has been.Â
Once inside, you have Joel take off his boots, then usher him to the bathroom with a hand on his back, his flannel damp with sweat. âSit.â You reach for Joelâs shoulders and push him down, forcing him onto the lidded toilet. You crouch down at the bathtub and plug the drain with the stopper, then turn the water on - not too hot, not too cold. âYeah, this is good. Thisâll make you feel so much better.âÂ
âOh, câmon. Turn off the damn water. Iâm not takinâ a bath.âÂ
âYou are, too.âÂ
âAm not.âÂ
âJoel,â you bite. Joel parrots your name back in the same threatening tone.
âWeâre breaking that fever one way or another, Joel. So you bathe yourself, or Iâll do it.âÂ
Joel cocks an eyebrow. âOh, will ya, now?â
You go quiet, no retort to his comment. Heat rises to your cheeks and you focus on the bathtub filling with water to avoid Joelâs taunting gaze. After a long enough silence passes, Joel changes the subject. âI donât have any clean clothes, yâknow.âÂ
âThen Iâll grab you some from your house,â you mumble.
âMm,â Joel grunts. âGot an answer for everything, donâtcha?â
You glare. Joel glares too. You fold your arms across your chest and raise your eyebrows at him. You are not losing this battle.Â
Joel sighs in defeat. âAlright, go on anâ get, then. Iâll take the fuckinâ bath if itâll get me fifteen minutes away from you obsessinâ over me. There. Happy?âÂ
âHappy.â
You leave Joel in the bathroom to bathe himself, closing the door behind you. Still wearing nothing but pajamas and a robe, you change quickly into a hoodie and jeans, then leave through your front door for the second time.
Joelâs house is right next to yours, so itâs not a long walk. Mentally, youâre kicking yourself for your stupid threat to bathe Joel. The way he responded to it, âOh, will ya?â and how bashful that made you, the embarrassment written all over your face in big, black, permanent marker. Your crush on the older man is obvious, and Joel, never the gentleman, will jump at any opportunity to make you squirm. Like when he catches your eyes lingering on him for a little too long, heâll tease you for it. âSârude to stare, yâknow,â heâll taunt, always with that stupid fucking grin on his face. Smile lines framing his cheeks, crows feet handsomely peeking at the corners of his eyes. You really need to stop setting yourself up for these things.Â
Once in Joelâs house, you head upstairs for his bedroom and rifle through his dresser drawers for some comfy clothes. You pick out a pair of plaid boxers, some gray sweatpants, and a navy waffle-knit henley. You bunch up his clothes and inhale, Joelâs natural smell still lingering in the clothes, even washed.Â
In his kitchen, you notice some vegetables sitting out on his countertops. Carrots, potatoes, onions. You grab those too, then check the fridge for leftover chicken or turkey or something. He usually has some, and usually brings it to you after heâs had his fill. âThis is for you, trouble. Cause yâdonât eat enough,â heâll gruff. âWould you like me to heat it up for ya?â And whether you say yes or no, he always does. It seems to make him happy or fulfill him somehow, so you let him take care of you like that. If only heâd let you return the favor.
Bingo. Thereâs chicken in old Tupperware right on the top shelf, and yesterdayâs date written in Joelâs terrible handwriting from an old, dried up Sharpie. You take that too, then go back home.Â
You leave Joelâs food you stole on the kitchen table and stop at your linen closet for a fresh towel. You knock on the bathroom door, âJoel?â
âYeah, darlinâ.â
âI have your clothes. And a towel.â
âGood. I need those,â Joel says. âCâmon in, then.âÂ
You open the door, averting your eyes from Joelâs naked body in the bathtub. âRelax. Mânot gonna let you see somethinâ you ainât âsposed to.â Heâs got his hands covering his manhood, the rest of himself on display - toned biceps, veined forearms. His belly is pillowy and hairy and his legs look so long, all bare like this. His toes peeking out of the soapy bathwater. You set the towel and his clothes down on the toilet, stealing an even longer look at him when you think he doesnât notice. âI see ya snoopinâ, trouble. Wanna take a picture?â
You roll your eyes and ignore the offer, turning your attention to Joel but keeping your eyes focused on his face. His hair is slicked back, and his grays pop out against the rest of his dark hair, little ringlet curls at his neck. The asshole is criminally handsome.Â
âAre you feeling better?â
âI feel fine. Like Iâve felt all day,â Joel lies. His body betrays him instantly when another cough wracks through him.Â
âRight. Well, you smell better, at least.âÂ
Joel rolls his eyes, âNice one, sweetheart. Thanks. Now scram, so I can get dressed.âÂ
You leave the bathroom, shutting the door behind yourself again. You can hear the sound of the bathtub draining and Joel getting out of the tub as you stop at the linen closet again, this time grabbing some queen sized sheets and pillowcases.Â
In your living room, you pull some cushions off of your sofa and pull out the built-in bed, then dress it with the sheets and an old floral quilt. You cover your own pillows in the pillowcases, then fluff them nicely and set them up for Joel, whoâs leaving the bathroom now, combing his hair back.
âStole your comb,â he says, tossing it for you to catch. He stops in the living room and looks at the pull-out bed that you made up, the corners of the sheets tucked in and everything. âThe hellâs all this?â
âExactly what it looks like,â You mock his words from earlier. âYour bed.â
âYouâre beinâ ridiculous. I ainât even sick.â
You ignore Joel and point to the bed. âGet in.â
Joel rolls his eyes but gets in the bed anyway, springs squeaking under his weight. âMânot gettinâ in this bed âcause Iâm sick or âcause youâre makinâ me. Just feel like sittinâ.âÂ
âSure, Joel,â you sigh. âHow much water have you had today?â
âPlenty.â
âHow much is plenty?â
âItâs enough,â he snaps impatiently. You leave him just for a second to fill a glass with some water, then bring it to him. Joel pushes the glass away, âI said Iâve had enough.âÂ
âIâll decide whatâs enough, now hereââ you put the glass into his hand, âDrink.âÂ
Joel drinks the entirety of the glass, glaring at you the entire time. Good god, if looks could fucking kill. The cool water soothes his scratchy, sore throat, but Joel wonât tell you that. âYouâre a tyrant, sweetheart,â he tells you, voice raspy and low. What he doesnât tell you, however, is that if the shoe were on the other foot and you were the sick one right now, he'd be just as overbearing over your health. Probably worse.Â
You pout mockingly at Joel as you take his glass. âStay here. Donât get up.âÂ
You get up from the bed to go into the kitchen and begin preparing a soup for Joel to soothe his aching throat. You start by dicing onions, then chopping some carrots. You toss them in a large pot with some butter, letting the vegetables soften. Youâve even got some leftover bread you made yesterday, so you turn on your oven to heat it up. You can hear Joel getting restless, tossing and turning in the less than comfortable bed. Probably should have turned on a movie for him, left him a book or something to occupy his restless mind. âYou okay?â
âMâfine. Mind your business.âÂ
You open Joelâs Tupperware and chop up his chicken into little bits. When you look up, Joelâs out of bed. You scoff. Heâs forcing open your window, grunting as it squeaks. âJoel, what did I tell you? Get your ass back in that bed.â
âRelax, would ya? Mâtryinâ to get some air in here.â Joel successfully forces the window open, and cool air blows into your tediously warmed home. âHouse is a fuckinâ oven.â
âYeah, well, thatâs probably your fever talking, dumbass. Put my window down.âÂ
âI really outta fix this window for ya. Ainât good to leave it like this. Iâll get my tools anâ Iââ
You march across the kitchen and into the living room, knife in hand and using it to point to the bed. âJoel.â
âYou scare me,â Joel mumbles, raising his arms in surrender. He closes the sticky window for you, then you march him back to the pullout. Before Joel lays down, he glances in the kitchen at what youâve been cooking. He heard the sounds of you chopping, but with his nose all congested he canât smell enough to hazard a guess as to what youâve been making. Joel narrows his eyes at the stolen Tupperware on your table, the carrots and onion peels to the side, and recognizes it all as his. âIs that myâŚ?âÂ
âJust lay down, Joel.âÂ
âDid you take that from my fridge?âÂ
âI did.â
Youâre completely shameless about this, thereâs not even a half-assed attempt at lying your way out, and Joelâs beside himself. âYou stole from me, you littleââ You urge Joel into bed, fluffing the pillows behind him as you ignore his tantrum. âYou are unbelievable. I could throttle you, you know that?â
âGo ahead, Joel,â you challenge. A slight breeze could knock this sick old man down to his knees. You tuck Joel into the sheets, then adjust the quilt over him again. And this time before leaving him, you grab an old book of word searches in a basket under an end table. âHere.â You toss it to him along with a dull pencil. That should keep him busy.
Back in the kitchen, youâre still working on Joelâs soup. Itâs bubbling away on the stove, and youâve just finished making egg noodles to make the dish a little heartier. Something to stick to his ribs. It hits you then, that you donât hear sniffling or coughing. Joelâs gone quiet, suspiciously so.Â
And lo and be-fucking-hold, Joelâs up again. This time, with tools. Tools that you donât have, tools that he must have snuck out and grabbed from his home at some point. âJoel!âÂ
âThere,â Joel says, moving your window up and down seamlessly. âWindowâs fixed.âÂ
âHow many times do I have to say it?âÂ
âHow about you try a âthank youâ, huh?â Joel shoots back.
You shoo him back to bed. You slice a bit of warm bread, then ladle some soup into a bowl and bring it to him with a spoon. âEat,â you tell him.Â
Joel eats a spoonful, and itâs written all over his face how much he enjoys it, the warm broth relieving his sore throat. âSo whatâd you poison it with, huh?â
âOh, youâre such a dick.âÂ
Joel smiles, only teasing. âMâsorry. Sâjust that you shouldnât be doinâ all this for me, sâall.â Joel squeezes your knee comfortingly. âThank you. I mean it, darlinâ.â Heâll let you feed him, but no more than that. Youâre too sweet for your own good. âSâgood soup.â
âIâm glad you like it, you asshole.â You smile too, and push some of Joelâs hair out of his face. He finishes his bowl of soup, even has a second one. You take his bowl away and wash it at the sink.
âShould let me do that,â Joel says, following you into the kitchen. âAinât that how it works? One cooks, the other cleans.â Joel bumps you to the side and takes the soapy dish from your hands.
âMaybe another time,â you offer, attempting to take back the bowl. âDonât want your germs on my dinnerware.â But Joel holds on tight, so you let him wash the dish. Since he wants to die on this hill. So you dry your hands, then feel his forehead once again. You frown, displeased that the bath didnât work at curbing his fever at all. Heâs still burning up. âIâll be right back.âÂ
You go to your bathroom and open the cabinet vanity, where you have an old Walgreens thermometer, the paint all smudged off. You wash it with soap and water in the sink, then return to Joel. Amazingly, you find him in the bed doing his word search puzzle, and you didnât even have to tell him to go lay down this time.Â
The bed creaks under you as you sit down next to him. You put his book down, âOpen,â you tell him, thermometer in hand.
âOh, câmon now,â Joel complains. âGet that thermometer outta my face.â Â
You shake your head no, and tug on Joel's chin so that he opens his mouth. You place the thermometer under his tongue and he closes his lips around it, staring daggers at you the entire time thermometer reads his temperature.Â
Heâs so handsome. Big, sparkling brown eyes underneath brows knit together in irritation. Pouting lips. Age looks good on him, perfectly both softens and enhances his rougher edges.
The thermometer beeps. You read the temperature, 102.3°F. Why Joelâs even upright with a fever like this is a mystery, but thatâs men for you. Fucking idiots. âThatâs a hell of a fever youâre running, Joel.â
âYouâre fullâa shit. Gimme that.â Joel sniffles and snatches the thermometer from you to read the number for himself. He shrugs. âSâold. Probably faulty. Canât trust it.â Joel covers his mouth with his elbow and coughs loudly.Â
âYouâre old and faulty too, Joel. Look at you.â You offer him a handkerchief to wipe his nose. âYouâre falling apart.âÂ
Joel scowls at you before blowing his nose. You leave him once more, this time to bring him a cool, damp rag. You press it against his forehead, and Joel closes his eyes. âDoes that feel nice?â
âNo. Quit that.âÂ
But Joelâs body betrays him. Heâs sighing in relief, and his tensed muscles loosen. His breathing, while still shallow, has slowed as much as it can, soft belly rising and falling with steady breaths.
âAre you falling asleep?âÂ
âNo, Iâm not. Mânot tired,â Joel argues. He tries adjusting the now lukewarm rag, warmed by his body heat.
âYou should sleep.â
âNah.â
You take the damp rag off of Joelâs forehead and flip it so that the cooler side soothes his hot, feverish skin. âYou know, Joel, I think this is why god made women. To take care of stupid, sick men like you.â
âHm. Could be so. But I think he sent you to me as a punishment of sorts.âÂ
âIs that so? A punishment?â
âSâright. Anâ some day, youâll fool some poor man into marryinâ you and heâll have to put up with this same shit the rest of his life. I donât envy that sorry bastard one bit.âÂ
âOh, I know,â you coo, wiping away a droplet of water that rolls down his temple. âYou tell me all about it, Joel. Tell me how terrible it is.â
âOh, I intend to.â Joel continues his tirade, bitching and moaning about how you're doing too much, that none of this is necessary. âQuit fussinâ over meâ and so on.
You know that after this, Joel will try to leave you, go home and fiddle with things in his home that arenât broken - or worse yet, heâll tinker with the things in yours that he deems in need of fixing. Squeaky door, creaky floor panels. You listen to his slight wheezing, his sniffling, his voice all raspy and broken. He really does need to rest, the poor man.Â
If you had cough syrup, youâd use that to put his ass to sleep. But you donât, so you decide to utilize a different technique, one that always successfully incapacitates a man.Â
You remove the damp rag from Joelâs head and set it on the coffee table behind you. Joelâs eyes are shut as he takes shallow breaths, and you trace lazy patterns on his stomach, inching your way down, down, until youâre rubbing his warm bulge, feeling him stiffen beneath your touch. âGoddamnit, what the hell are you doinâ tâme, now?â Joel groans. He takes your wrist and squeezes it gently in his grip.
âNothing, Joel,â you answer innocently.
âBullshit, itâs - youâre - oh, fuck.â Joel bucks into your palm. You slide your hand beneath his sweatpants to touch his bare cock, amused at how Joel decided against wearing boxers today. âYouâre killinâ me, sweetheart. You gotta, you canâtââ
âShhh,â you hush him. You drag your nails through his patch of coarse hair, playing with those long and wiry hairs. You palm his cock again, half hard and growing harder by the second. Before this goes further, you tug his sweatpants down his thighs. âLift up for me, Joel.â
Joel lifts his hips and you tug his sweats down the rest of the way, then continue touching him. You spit into your hand and pump him from top to bottom, taking special care to gently massage his balls when you reach the base of his cock. âOhh, darlinâ. Oh lord.âÂ
Joelâs stiffened to full length now. You kiss the tip of his cock, all the way down his shaft before licking your way back up, one long, fat stripe. You swirl your tongue around the head and dip your head, teasing him with it as you bob your head up and down, taking more and more of him down your throat with each pass.
Joel moans, his sick voice breaking a little. He keeps a heavy hand on your bobbing hand and wonders what the hell he did to deserve this from you. He should have stopped fighting his sickness long ago if this is what was in the cards for him.Â
Realization dawns on Joel. It all makes sense, why youâre sucking him off at this particular moment. Youâre trying to put him to bed, you goddamn deviant. âYouâre trouble,â he accuses. âI know exactly what youâre doinâ.âÂ
âHmm?â You turn your head to Joel, his cock still in your mouth. You bounce it against your inner cheek, and Joel groans at the lewd image of his cockhead bulging in your mouth.
âYeah,â Joel says. âAnd let me - oh, fuck-â You drop your head low, taking all of him into your mouth. So deep that your nose is buried in his pubic hair. âLet me tell ya, darlinâ, what youâre doin - it ainât gonna work on me.â
You pull off of his cock with a pop. âIt wonât?â
Joel shakes his head. âMm-mm. Youâre wastinâ your time.âÂ
âOh. Well, I should stop, then.âÂ
You begin to pull off of his cock, but Joel forces you back down. âNah, you donât have t - you gotta give it your best shot, right?â
You smile with Joelâs cock in your mouth. What a fucking guy. You pull off of him only momentarily, garnering a protesting groan spilling from his lips. You take off your shirt and unbutton your pants. âLemme help you with that, câmere, darlinâ,â Joel says, pulling your pants and panties down your legs. He unclasps your bra next, then sheds his own clothing.Â
You take him right back into your mouth, hollowing your cheeks as you suck his length. This time, though, you play with your pussy. As you move up and down Joelâs shaft, you slip through your folds, dipping down to your wet hole to gather your arousal on your fingertips. You circle your clit a couple of times, then push your fingers in and out of your pussy.Â
âYou fuckinâ yourself on your fingers, sweetheart?â
âMm-hm,â you hum, mouth stuffed full of Joelâs cock.
Joel pulls your hand away and replaces your fingers with his own, much thicker and longer ones. âLet me,â he says. âSâmy job. Shouldnât have tâdo that to yourself, âless you wanna. Or if I say so.âÂ
Joel spreads your thighs wider. He moves his pointer and middle fingers up and down, exploring your slick, velvety pussy. He sucks those two fingers and then his thumb and rubs tight circles around the sensitive nub, all swollen and wet with your arousal. You moan at the action, the vibration of your voice traveling right down his shaft and to his balls. He bucks himself into your mouth.
Joel inserts his middle and ring fingers into your pussy, pumping in and out slowly before curling them upward, stroking right where you need him to. âGot a nice fuckinâ pussy,â he purrs with his hoarse, gravelly voice. You pulse around his fingers, and Joel admires the way your tight hole hugs him as he moves in and out of you. âSheâs makinâ such a mess, drippinâ all over me.âÂ
You twist your fist up and down Joelâs shaft as you suck him, working him closer and closer to the edge. Joelâs content with this, the prospect of coming down your throat and fucking you with his fingers. But you have a different idea, and when his balls are tightening and his shaft is twitching, his breathing quickening, you pull off of him.Â
Joel groans in frustration, but his anger is quickly eased when you straddle his hips. You reach between your legs for his cock and stroke it, dragging the tip through your folds, up and down, up and down, dipping it in and out of yourself to tease him. âYouâre fightinâ dirty.âÂ
Joelâs exercised enough self control today and doesnât let you tease him for long. He puts both of his large, weathered, and masculine hands on your waist and pulls you right down on his cock, the initial penetration causing a stretch so intense you see stars for a second. âOh god, Joel,â you moan, clutching his shoulders.Â
âI know, I know,â Joel whispers, rubbing your back. âYou good, sweetheart? You need a minute?â
 âJust - just a second.â
âTake your time. Know itâs a lot, youâll get used to it.âÂ
Joel gives you a second, then inches you up and down on his cock to get you adjusted to the sensation of being so full of him. Soon enough, the ache dissipates and is replaced with pleasure, nothing but pure pleasure. You rest against his hot body, rocking your hips to grind against his pubic bone.Â
You know that by the way he bucked his hips into your mouth, how he pulled you down on his cock, how even now he moves you, that heâll tire himself out. Your plan was simply to make him come to knock him out, but this - this works too. Exhaust his body, get yourself off in the process. Killing two birds with one stone.Â
Joel fucks you harder now, hands on your ass to move you up and down on his cock. He bends his legs at the knee for more leverage, bouncing you on his lap. âThatâs it, sweetheart,â he grunts. He moves you so that your chest is right above his face, and one at a time, sucks your nipples into his mouth, teeth lightly grazing them.Â
You hold onto Joelâs broad shoulders to steady yourself, looking down at him as he fucks himself into you. Heâs so handsome, cheeks and chest all flushed red, a sheen of sweat glittering at his hairline, his graying curls damp. Joelâs eyebrows are knit together as he fucks you, tracing your curves with his gaze. He pulls you against his chest as he ruts against you, his scruff scratching your skin so deliciously. âTakinâ me so good. Look so pretty on my cock like this.âÂ
You move at his will. Joelâs underneath you, rocking himself in and out of your dripping, tight pussy. His thrusts are getting sloppy, hips stuttering in a non-rhythm as he pushes himself inside you over and over. He must be getting close now.Â
âUp, sweetheart. Lean back fâme.âÂ
You peel yourself off of Joelâs middle, all slick with his sweat. Joel spits into his hand and presses the calloused pads of his fingertips against your clit. You roll your hips against him, savoring that much-needed friction against your clit.
âLike that, darlinâ. Jusâ like that. Fuck yourself on my cock,â Joel says, rubbing your sensitive bud with tight circles. âGonna watch you come all over me.âÂ
âYeah,â you moan, âWanna come for you.âÂ
Joel loves you like this. Your face contorted in pleasure, mouth agape, body quivering and twitching on top of him. He steadily massages your wet, swollen clit and wears a crooked smile when he feels your cunt start to pulse around him. And you think youâre pulling one over on him, but look at you, all fucked out and delirious. Youâll probably crash after this, and Joel will go right back to fixing up your house. Thereâs a door hinge thatâs been squeakingâŚ
âOh my - Joel, Iâm - Iâm gonna -âÂ
âKnow you are, sweetheart. Let me have it,â he groans, voice all broken and hoarse. âCome all over my cock, darlinâ. Let go fâme.âÂ
That hot, sticky pleasure in your gut begins to intensify rapidly. You go quiet just before it happens, then let out a long, whimpering moan when your orgasm takes over your body. You shudder and jerk as Joel fucks you through your release, and once youâve ridden it out, Joel pulls you tight against his chest.Â
While you come down from your high, Joel frantically fucks you, slamming his hips against yours as he chases his own climax, balls tightening and his belly filling with warmth. âOh, goddamn. Fuck, fuck, fuck,â Joel pants as he comes, painting your insides with his hot seed, the warmth of his release and the pulsing of his cock so satisfying.Â
Coming down from his orgasm, a wave of exhaustion hits Joel. He finds himself unable to move, unable to open his heavy eyelids. He mightâve been wrong, because napping away the rest of the afternoon doesnât sound quite so bad, now.
You pull your body off of Joelâs and he lets out a sighing grunt when his softening cock slides out of your body, the mess he created with you spilling all over his lap. You grab that washrag you held against his forehead and clean him up and then yourself, then get up to dispose of it.Â
Joel grabs you by the arm, his grip weak. âDonât you go anywhere, trouble,â he grumbles.Â
âBut Iâve gotta take care of this, Joel,â you protest.Â
âDeal with it later. Just -â Joel yawns and pulls you down and holds you tight against his chest, as tight as he can, anyway. âJusâ stay with me a minute.âÂ
Joelâs eyes are still shut, and his breathing becomes slow and rhythmic. Itâs laughable how quickly sleep is taking over his sick, exhausted body, having used what little life he had in himself to fuck you stupid. Like that last burst of energy from a dying star. âI thought you werenât tired,â you tease.
Joel sniffles. âMânot.âÂ
âMhm. Sure.âÂ
âJust checkinâ my eyelids for holes.â
You push some curls out of Joelâs face and hold your palm against his cheek, still hot with his fever. Heâs so peaceful looking like this, plump lips pouting as he breathes through his mouth. You bring your face close to his and close the gap by pressing a little kiss against his lips.Â
âWhatâre you kissinâ me for, hm?âÂ
âI want to,â you reply, kissing him again.
âGonna get yourself sick,â Joel murmurs groggily, eyes still closed. âWhich means in a couple days, I get to do all this right back to you. S'payback, darlinâ.â
You chuckle. And in just a few short seconds, Joelâs snoring lightly, dead to the world.

Life was tough. At least your life was.
Living alone in this day and age was expensive and to pay your student loans was almost impossible. Yes, you could go the easy route and just sell your body or some pictures but that really wasnât your style. You werenât going to turn your body into a product. So, when a man called Toji came up to you, asking how much you were worth for the night, you rejected him and asked if you could do something else that would earn you just as much money. The handsome man simply smirked before your criminal life started. Ever since then your job was to âexchange fake money with real moneyâ. Money laundering.
And you did just that. Asking your friends to lend you money and giving them back fake money, returning products you bought with the fake money, asking people if they could change one bill for another. It worked. The last few months worked without any problems at all. This month however was an absolute nightmare. Not only did Toji give you way more money than usual, you were in the middle of exam season. You were running behind and Toji warned you that his boss, Sukuna, was not pleased with your current status. Well, itâs not like you could do anything about it anyway.
As the heavy front door creaked open, a wave of exhaustion washed over you, burdened with the weight of deadlines, exams and Tojiâs constant warnings. Your footsteps echoed in the dimly lit hallway, each one a testament to the fatigue that settled deep within your bones. With heavy shoulders and a weary sigh, you dragged yourself through the threshold of your home, longing for the solace of your own space. The weight of your backpack seemed to increase with every step, a physical manifestation of the mental strain you had endured throughout the day. As you entered your room, the soft glow of your desk lamp provided a faint comfort, but even its warmth couldn't dispel the overwhelming sense of stress that enveloped you. Toji kept sending you messages, telling you to hurry up and wash the money. Another sigh fell from your lips as you let your backpack and jacket fall to the ground. The moment you turned around you started to scream â a stranger was sitting on your bed.
Sukuna, the embodiment of wrath and power, sat on the edge of the bed, his presence casting a palpable aura of danger in the room. Clad in a white shirt and black pants that hugged his form with menacing elegance, his usually composed demeanor was shattered by a seething anger that simmered just beneath the surface. The fabric strained against his muscles as if unable to contain the sheer force of his rage. With a clenched jaw and eyes ablaze with fury, he exuded an aura of dominance that commanded attention. His fingers curled into fists, nails digging into his palms as he fought to contain the tempest within him. Every breath he took seemed to echo with the promise of destruction, a silent warning to those who dared to cross him. Despite the veneer of sophistication his attire provided, there was no mistaking the primal wrath that pulsed through his veins, ready to unleash chaos upon any who dared provoke him.
âWho the hell are you?!â
âAinât no way youâre talking to your leader like this, stupida.â
Realization hit instantly. This was what Toji was warning you from the whole time. It was Sukuna â the gang leader. You heard a lot of terrifying things about him. The name of Sukuna Ryomen struck terror into the hearts of all who dared to utter it. A gang leader with a penchant for unspeakable cruelty, his reign of terror was marked by a litany of horrifying deeds that stained the streets with blood and despair. From the depths of his depravity, tales whispered of Sukuna's penchant for gruesome displays of power â from the grisly dismemberment of rivals left as warnings, their mutilated remains strewn across the city like macabre ornaments, to the innocent lives snuffed out in acts of ruthless vengeance. His depraved appetite for control knew no bounds, his twisted machinations orchestrating a symphony of fear that echoed through the alleys and corridors of the urban labyrinth he ruled with an iron fist. Behind the facade of opulence and influence, Sukuna's true legacy lay in the shattered lives and haunted souls that bore witness to his reign of terror, forever scarred by the horrifying specter of his atrocities.
It was the first time that you actually saw him and it was the first time that you instantly got on your knees for a man. You knew you had to show your utmost respect to this man. âI am so sorry. IâI didnât know. Please forgive me, Sukuna.â
A grin graced his face as he saw you submit to him so quickly. He loved that fear struck anyone who laid eyes upon him. On top of that: You were a beauty. However he could not just look over your lack of achievements. At first he was impressed by your work. You managed to wash all the money and not have a single cop suspicious of you, you were smart and didnât tell a living soul about your connection to Sukunaâs gang. So, he decided to give you some more money, he was sure that you were able to handle it. You werenât and you took none of Tojiâs â his right hand â warnings seriously.
âYou look good begging on your knees, piccola. You would have made way more money on the streets, you know?â, he snickered, Toji told him about your decision to never sell yourself. Sukuna respected that as long as you still somehow benefited him. âToji warned you, didnât he? Youâre behind. Why are you fucking up my business, y/n?â
The flicker of a lighter cast an eerie glow upon his features, accentuating the cold calculation that lurked behind his piercing gaze. With practiced nonchalance, he retrieved a cigarette from its pack, his fingers deftly manipulating the slender cylinder with an air of arrogance. Ignoring the palpable tension that hung in the air like a shroud, he brought the flame to the tip of the cigarette, a small ember igniting amidst the darkness. The sharp inhale of smoke filled the room, intertwining with your fear, a sinister dance that mirrored the power dynamics at play. In that moment, as the tendrils of smoke curled around him like malevolent serpents, Sukuna asserted his dominance with a single, calculated gesture, cementing his control over both the room and its trembling inhabitant.
âIâItâs just exam seasonâŚand I was given more than usualâŚI am really, from the bottom of my heart, sorry for everything.â You were frozen in the oppressive atmosphere of Sukuna's presence, your heart hammering in your chest like a caged bird desperate for escape. As he lit up a cigarette with an effortless display of power, you couldn't suppress the shiver that ran down your spine, your nerves alight with a cocktail of fear and anticipation. Your breath caught in your throat, caught between the instinct to flee and the inexplicable pull of his dominating presence. Despite the terror that coiled in the pit of your stomach, there was an undeniable undercurrent of arousal that stirred within you, a primal response to the sheer force of his authority. The way he commanded the room with effortless control sent a shiver of excitement coursing through your veins, igniting a fire of desire that burned beneath the surface of fear. In the face of his overwhelming dominance, you found yourself teetering on the edge of submission, your body betraying you with each racing heartbeat as you struggled to navigate the complex interplay of fear and desire that pulsed between you two.
Sukuna's gaze, sharp as a blade, pierced through your facade of fear with unnerving precision. In the flickering light of the room, his eyes seemed to strip away your defenses, laying bare the tangled web of emotions that churned within you. He could sense the trembling of your limbs, the rapid rise and fall of your chest betraying the fear that gripped you. But beneath that fear, there simmered something else â a raw, primal desire that pulsed with a rhythm all its own. With a predatory grin, Sukuna leaned in closer to your kneeling form, his voice a low, husky murmur that seemed to caress the very air around. "I can see right through you, piccola," he murmured, his words laden with a dangerous allure that sent a thrill coursing through your veins. "You can't hide that hunger from me." And in that moment, as the tension crackled between you like electricity, you realized that you were completely at his mercy, your desires laid bare for him to see.
As Sukuna's penetrating gaze lingered on you, you felt a flush of embarrassment spread across your cheeks like wildfire. Caught in the crosshairs of his scrutiny, you wished you could disappear into the shadows, away from the intensity of his knowing stare. The revelation of your hidden desire left you feeling exposed, vulnerable in a way you had never experienced before. Each beat of your heart seemed to echo the rhythm of your mortification, the weight of his gaze bearing down on you like a heavy burden. Unable to meet his eyes, you lowered your gaze to the ground, willing yourself to shrink away from the searing intensity of his presence. In that moment, you felt small and insignificant, your embarrassment a stark reminder of your own vulnerability in the face of his commanding dominance âExcuse meâŚ?â
Sukuna leaned back again, a smug grin on his face âCome closer, principessa, kneel right in front of me.â
Every word was your command. Slowly you got closer. Sukuna lounged on the edge of the bed with an air of undeniable authority, his legs spread wide in a display of dominance that seemed to fill the room. Clad in sleek black pants, he exuded an aura of raw masculinity that was impossible to ignore. Before him, you knelt with a mixture of trepidation and submission, your eyes downcast as you awaited his next command. The tension between you crackled in the air like electricity, the space between you charged with unspoken desires and untamed passions. The balance of power shifted palpably, with Sukuna reigning supreme over his willing captive, your fates intertwined in the complex dance of dominance and submission.
With a gesture both possessive and tender, Sukuna's hand descended upon your head, his touch gentle yet commanding as he stroked your hair like a prized possession. His fingers traced the curve of your skull with an almost possessive reverence, eliciting a shiver of submission that coursed through your veins. In the silent exchange between you each caress was a silent affirmation of his dominance. With a soft, whispered command, he guided your head to rest upon his thigh, the weight of your submission a tangible presence that settled between. In this intimate tableau, you surrendered yourself completely to his will, your breath mingling with the fabric of his pants as you lay vulnerable and exposed before him, a willing captive to his every whim.
âSei carina, lo sai? Look up at me with those big innocent eyes. Wanna seduce me, piccola?â As Sukuna's hand firmly grasped your head, a jolt of arousal surged through you, your pulse quickening with an intensity that matched the grip of his fingers. The sensation of his touch, commanding yet possessive, sent a thrill through, igniting a fire of desire that burned hotter with each passing moment. Caught in the vice-like grip of his hand, you felt a surge of excitement welling up within you, your breath hitching in your throat as you succumbed to the intoxicating power of his dominance. The boundaries between fear and desire blurred into nothingness, your body responding instinctively to his commanding presence with a hunger that you could scarcely contain.
âDâDid you just call me cute?â
âIs that all you have to say about it?â, With a deft motion, Sukuna's thumb traced the line of your cheek, his touch both possessive and tender as he caressed your skin with a commanding intimacy. As his thumb lingered at the corner of your lips, a surge of anticipation rippled through you, your breath catching in your throat at the tantalizing prospect of what was to come. With a boldness born of desire, you parted your lips ever so slightly, inviting him to delve deeper into the depths of your surrender. Without hesitation, Sukuna's thumb slipped past your lips, his touch igniting a symphony of sensations that danced upon your tongue. The taste of him was intoxicating, a heady blend of power and desire that left you dizzy with need. You surrendered yourself completely to his touch, you felt a primal connection forming between you, binding you together in a web of desire that defied all logic and reason. And as you savored the taste of him upon your lips, you knew that you belonged to him utterly and completely, your surrender a testament to the irresistible pull of his dominance.
With an air of unwavering confidence, Sukuna basked in your submission, relishing in the power he wielded over you. His gaze, smoldering with desire and dominance, held you captive, each glance a silent command that you willingly obeyed. As he felt you yield to his touch, a predatory smirk tugged at the corners of his lips, his satisfaction evident in the way he savored your surrender. With a voice that dripped with authority, he leaned in close, his breath warm against your ear as he posed the question that hung between you like a tantalizing promise. âChe brava. Wanna make me feel good, piccola? Wanna taste something else?â he murmured, his words laced with a potent blend of desire and challenge.
With a silent nod, you affirmed your desire to delve deeper into the intoxicating dance of submission and dominance that bound you to Sukuna. Your breath hitched in anticipation as you watched him lean back with a self-assured grace, his movements deliberate as he reached for the buckle of his pants. The sound of leather against metal echoed in the hushed room, each click and slide a symphony of anticipation. With each movement, the air seemed to crackle with an electrifying tension, the promise of what was to come hanging heavy between you like a veil of desire. As he freed himself from the confines of his pants, a thrill of excitement surged through you. As you watched him bare himself before you, you knew that there was no turning back â you were his, body and soul, bound to him in a fiery embrace of passion and submission.
He was big. Bigger than you were used to. It was veiny, long, thick and circumcised. âTi piace, piccola?â Him speaking Italian turned you on even more. It suited him â his aura, his appearance, his dominance.
With a mixture of trepidation and eagerness, you lowered yourself before Sukuna, your heart pounding in your chest with a heady mixture of anticipation and desire. As you met his gaze, you found yourself ensnared by the raw intensity of his eyes, their smoldering depths fueling the flames of your arousal. With trembling hands, you traced the contours of his thighs, your touch a silent prayer for permission as you inched closer to your purpose. And when you felt the heat of him against your lips, a thrill surged through you, your mouth watering with a hunger that mirrored the primal need that pulsed within your veins.
âBrava piccola.â With a commanding yet tender touch, Sukuna threaded his fingers through your hair, guiding your movements with a firm guidance that left you breathless with desire. As you wrapped your lips around his cock, you savored the taste of him upon your tongue. With each eager suck and swirl of your tongue, you sought to please him, your own pleasure intertwined with the intoxicating thrill of his approval.Â
As the heat of passion consumed you, Sukuna's dominance surged to the forefront, his grip on your hair tightening with a commanding force as he pushed your head down onto him with an urgency that bordered on ferocity. He started fucking your face, with each rough thrust, he plunged deeper into the depths of your mouth, his movements guided by an insatiable hunger. The air was thick with the heady scent of your shared arousal, the sound of your ragged breaths mingling with the wet, slick sounds of his cock going deep into your throat. In the depths of your submission your senses were overwhelmed by the dizzying whirlwind of pleasure and pain.
âHmmâŚfuck, you feel perfect, piccola. Was made to suck my cock. Look at you, taking it in so good.â
With each forceful thrust, Sukuna primal desire surged forth, his movements a testament to the raw intensity of his need. As he plunged deeper into your mouth, you felt yourself teetering on the edge of oblivion, your senses drowning in the overwhelming tide of sensation. The taste of him upon your tongue was intoxicating, a heady blend of power and passion that left you trembling with desire. Suddenly he pulled you off his cock, leaving you out of breath, your cheeks soaked with your tears.
You lowered your head, licking and sucking his balls as you started to jerk him off simultaneously. As you lavished attention upon him, your mouth and hands working in tandem to pleasure him, he unleashed a torrent of dirty whispers that sent shivers cascading down your spine.
âMy good little girl.â
âYouâll make daddy cum, piccola.â
âFuck, makes me want to make you mine, principessa.â
His voice, low and husky with desire, filled the air with a symphony of erotic promises, each word a tantalizing invitation to delve deeper into the depths of the shared ecstasy. Your own desire surged to dizzying heights, your arousal palpable in the slick heat that pooled between your thighs.
As the crescendo of pleasure reached its peak, Sukuna's primal instincts surged forth, his release imminent and inevitable. With a guttural groan of satisfaction, he surrendered himself to the relentless tide of ecstasy, his body tensing with the force of his climax. In a torrent of raw passion, he came, his hot seed spilling forth, coating your face with its warmth. You gasped in surprise and ecstasy as you felt him release, your skin bathed in the sticky warmth of his essence. And as you looked up at him with eyes glazed with desire, you knew that in that moment, you had become a vessel for his pleasure, your own desires subservient to the intoxicating power of his dominance.
As Sukuna beheld the aftermath of his release, a smug grin spread across his lips, his satisfaction evident in the arrogant tilt of his chin. With a sense of ownership that bordered on arrogance, he surveyed you before him, your face adorned with the evidence of his dominance. His gaze lingered on the trails of his cum that glistened upon your skin, a testament to the primal power he wielded over you. With a low chuckle that reverberated through the room, he voiced his approval, relishing in the sight of his essence decorating your face like a badge of honor.
âSuits you, piccola. You look pretty with my cum all over your slutty face. Should take a picture as blackmail material.â For Sukuna, there was no greater pleasure than seeing his cum adorning your face, a physical manifestation of his power and control over you. He gazed upon you with a possessive gleam in his eyes, he knew that he had claimed you completely, body and soul, in a fiery embrace of dominance and submission.
With a swift and fluid motion, Sukuna straightened himself, the clink of his belt buckle punctuating the air as he secured it with a confident flick of his wrist. His movements were calculated and precise, every gesture a testament to the unwavering confidence that defined his persona. As he stood before you, your gaze lingered on him, your breath catching in your throat at the sight of his commanding presence. With a final glance, he bestowed upon you a smug smirk, a silent acknowledgment of the power he held over you.
âWould love to fuck your sweet lilâ pussy right now but I still have some business to attend to, piccola. By the way, you have two more weeks for that money. Next time around it wonât end this way.â
Without another word, Sukuna turned on his heel and made his way toward the door, his steps echoing in the quiet room with a sense of finality. His departure left a palpable void in his wake, a reminder of the fleeting nature of their passionate encounter. And as he disappeared into the shadows, you left alone with your thoughts, your body still humming with the remnants of the pleasure you gave him. You knew that you would forever be under his spell, your desires forever entwined with his in a web of lust and submission. Though you did wish that he would have did something to you.
Just when you decided to play with yourself you heard your phone ring â a message from an unknown number.
Ciao piccola, wait for daddy. Iâll be back in two hours. I want your pussy to be soaking wet.

Reborn
Summary: Jason did what he swore he'd never curse upon anyone. It just so happened to be you he cursed in the process.
Word Count: 2.3K
Notes: Character death, greivous injury, language. I was actually so happy writing this one, I was thinking I was going to struggle with the prompt but it actually came to me with a lot less struggle than I was expecting. I'm a big Jason girlie so maybe this had a trace of self indulgence in there.
âââââââââââââŕźťâŕźşââââââââââââââ
"Hurry the fuck up!" Jason yells at Tim, hands pressed on the centre of your chest, blood trickling through his fingers. He hates the way the warm liquid seeps into the fabric of his gloves, sticky and wet.
"I'm trying the best I can," Tim grits back out, relaying something through their coms line while he runs to your side, dropping to his knees beside your body in the car wreckage. "HolyâŚ" he breathes out, eyes flicking over your form in concern. Your eyes are hazy and your face is ashy, paling from the blood loss.
"Jason, I don't think we-" he says, picking up one of your limp hands in his own, looking to his adoptive brother with pity.
"Shut up and do it."Â Jason grits back.
He wasn't going to lose you. Not like this. Not before him, not because of him.
Drop you to work, that's all he was going to do. That's all he was going to do. It was late at night, and he had patrol anyways. You were going in for a trial shift that night at the security company, something that could land you an executive manager role and get you out of that shitty job waiting tables. Something that could get both of you into a better apartment, more independent, the start of your life together. When you first started dating he was more than happy to throw Bruce's money around, the billionaire had more than he needed anyways, he wasn't going to miss it. Yet you had begun refusing after the first month, saying you wanted to be independent, and he fell in love right there.
And is this where it got you?
No. That was still all him. He had picked you up in a simple car since he was staking out some gang causing issues around West End and needed to go on stakeout. No reinforced glass, no secret bat gadget hidden in the glove compartment, just some tinted windows. So, who even saw you getting into his car? Well, what was supposed to be just dropping you at work turned into a car chase while you held onto anything you could, screaming in terror. It wasn't often that Jason would be the one getting chased, and under any other circumstances he would have thrown the car into gear and flipped the tables on them.
But you were in the car.
So, he threw it into reverse and ran as fast as he could. It had all been for vain, a burst tire and shattered windshield sent the car spinning out to a side street, flipping as it hit the curb. The screech of metal was deafening to his ears, the crunch of glass ringing out around him as the world flipped one⌠twoâŚthreeâŚtimes.
His lungs burnt as he struggled to escape from the seatbelt, head throbbing from the collision on the dash before he looked over to you. His heart stopped in his chest, unable to even respond to the calls of Red Robin over his com link, who he had contacted the moment a gun had been fired at the two of you. "Sweetheart?" his voice cracked slightly, unable to go louder over the ball of fear in his throat. You didnât respond as he clambered from his seat, arms coming around your back to support you and drag you from the car. he hated the way the image of you, splayed over the glass covered dash, had burnt into the deepest part of his mind. He had dragged you to the shelter of the car, blood boiling in his veins.
Anyone who had come to follow up was laid across the floor in seconds, Jason standing in front of your body like a guard dog. He blocked as much of your features as he could, taking out each gang member that came to inspect the crash with frightening efficiency. By the time Red Robin had arrived on the scene, Jason was already cradling your body in the shadow of the car, desperately trying to stop the bleeding from the bullet wound in your sternum. The bullet wound that he might as well have put there himself.
This was his fault.
"This isn't your fault, Hood." Tim says, laying his other hand on Jason's shoulder, muscled tensed and ready to snap. "None of us could have predicted-"
"Shut up and help," he hissed, fighting to stop himself from crying behind his mask. He hadn't felt this terrified since he was a kid, back in that warehouse. He was stronger than that now. Strong enough that surely, he could help you.
Jason wasnât oblivious to the pained and pitiful look cast his way. "Hood, they're already gone." he whispers softly, hands coming down to gently cover his still compressed on your chest. Jason shakes his head. "No." he chokes out. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no."
"Yes." Tim says firmly. "I'veâŚI've got the car. I'll bring it round before the GCPD shows. We can handle this. We can take them back to the cave, clean them up like they deserve-"
"I said No." Jason snaps, blood rushing in his ears. He knew you were gone. He could tell from the way your blood went tacky on your chest, the stream trickling into a standstill. The way your face was devoid of colour, making you look shades lighter than he knew you were. Your hands were limp, head tilted. What was the worst was the way your eyes stared up into him, glassy and fogged, as if cracking open his soul.
Why did you kill me?
Why me?
Why didn't you save me?
He knew you wanted to live, god, he knew you loved life. Loved life with him, and he loved it back in return. If only you had been given the chance he once was. "Bring the car." he chokes out, eyes burning with a fierce determination.
"What are you planning?" Tim asks, hesitant as he sees the way Jason's body is coiled, ready to strike.
"We're going to save them." He says softly, hand squeezing your lax one tightly.
God, he just hoped you weren't going to hate him.
âââ ââ
âźâ
â âââ
"So, you tracked us down to ask for our services?" Thalia scoffs, circling the two of them. "Didn't think I'd have two birds on our doorstep, didn't your mentor teach you better?" she says disdainfully, eyes raking over Tim and Jason. Jason just holds your body closer, wrapped in a white sheet and cradled in his arms. Tim shifts uncomfortably, making Thalia's eyes gleam when she detects the weakness. "Oh," she purrs, almost delighted, crowding into Timâs space. "You're off the record."
"This doesn't involve Batman." Jason gruffly says. "This involves me. This is my request."
Thalia's eyes flick back to him, but Jason doesn't flinch. He'd dragged Tim along as an accomplice, going dark on the radar as he returned to the alps, the one place he had sworn to never return to. To do the one thing he had told himself he would never force on anyone.
But he couldn't lose you.
"So, you think you can just show back up and ask to use the pits?" She asks, eyes flicking to your form in his arms. "My, you really are as dumb as you are bold, aren't you?" She hums. Jason remains still, eyes focused on the hooded woman in front of him.
"I'll owe you a favour." he says, without a beat of hesitation.
Red Robin's eyes widen behind him, domino mask unable to hide his surprise. "Hood, are you kidding? you can't just-"
"Shut it." Jason hisses back. "This isn't your decision. This is mine, consequences included."
Tim backs down only slightly. "You know what Batman will say. We can't trust these people; they'll use that favour to burn down Gotham. Think."
Jason tries to, he really does. He tries to see the big picture, but all he can see is fragments of you and your life together that was smashed the second he put you in that passenger seat. "I am." he says softly.
He could walk away now and save Gotham for sure, or he could stay and save his world.
Thalia sidles up to him, lips pulled into a smirk, like a snake rearing its head. "I could do you a deal if that's the case." she says, eyes sparkling like emeralds. "But you have to make good on it. You of all should know how we handle broken promises in the League."
Jason considers it for a second, before steeling himself. There was no other option for him.
"You have a deal."
"I knew bringing you back would be worth it." she smiles, like a cat batting a mouse between its paws. She turns, gesturing for them to follow her with two fingers. "Come." she commands, beginning a clipping pace through the carved stone hideout. Jason follows wordlessly, and Tim soon does a moment after.
"How long have they been dead?" she calls, not even looking back.
"Less than a week." he replies almost immediately. Thalia smiles at that, dark and curious.
"Oh? Snappy, I see. Who exactly is under that blanket to make you run to this corner of the world so quickly?" she grins, stopping at the entrance of a deep set of stairs. She stalks closer, steps echoing and deliberate. With a quick motion she pulls back the sheet from your stiff corpse, eyes raking over your face.
"A lover?" she asks, eyebrows raised at the way Jason holds you closer instinctively.
"None of your business." he replies gruffly, making her roll her eyes.
"We should've taught you how to be subtle." she murmurs, beginning to descend the stairs. He follows into the darkness, shadows beginning to give way to a soft green glow, bouncing off the carved stone walls. Tim takes in the room they step in to at the bottom, a grand, ornate space, yet somehow still appearing crude. Death clings to the atmosphere, cold and uninviting.
"Hood, is this where-" he begins quietly, but Jason cuts him off.
"Yes." he says as he follows Thalia deeper, feet stopping by the edge of the glowing green pool. Panic swirls in his gut, making his senses set themselves on fire. His mind races as he tries to control his own fear, to stop the metallic taste from rising in his throat. Flashes of his own time in the pool pry themselves into the forefront of his memory, making his fists clench in your sheet. He pushes them all down, taking a deep and shaky breath.
This was for you.
"Don't forget, you owe me." Thalia warns, gaze haughty as he kneels by the pool, unwrapping you from your blanket. His heart wrenches seeing your stiff body, eyes still open as if to judge him. When he's untangled the sheet from you, he slowly begins to slip your body into the water, Tim running his hands through his hair in worry behind him.
"JesusâŚ" Tim breathes, anxiety radiating off him as he watches your body submerge under the green glow of the Lazarus Pit. Jason doesn't move from his kneeling position, Thalia beside him as he scans the water for a sign of life, a sign of movement. A sign of you. After a few tense moments, it happens. A hand breaks through the surface, making Tim jump. Your fingers are clawed in pain, but he chooses to focus on the way your colour returns to the digits. You appear from the pit like you're drowning, eyes rolled into the back of your head as you breach the water. Your mouth is open in a wide gasp, screaming in unmeasurable pain. His heart tears itself in two and his stomach is in knots hearing you make that kind of noise, writhing and clawing at your face.
Thalia watches you scream and double over in the pit, making a mocking pout as madness clouds your eyes. "Aww, how cute. You're just like each other, a match made in hell."
"ShitâŚ" Tim exhales, pacing back and forwards behind him. "Batman isn't going to like this. This isn't right, this isn't rightâŚ" he mutters, panic written all over him. Jason drowns both of them out, extending his hand softly towards you, leaning precariously over the waters to gently grip your wrist and guide you his way. He could fix you. he could fix this. He could make it all better.
He guides you until you're in front of him, the familiar burning smell of the Lazarus pit stinging his nose, a smell he struggled to describe yet it haunted him on random nights. His eyes soften under the mask as he sees the panic in your eyes, the shock of coming back paired with the madness fighting to grip your mind. The sound of your cries and screams echoed around the room, a sound so full of pain and fear that he couldn't help but flinch.
He could teach you, the way he was taught. He could help you get your feet back the soft way, a way he wished he could have been offered. He'd do everything in his power to make your second chance as painless as possible. He'd nurse your mind back if that's what it needed, calm the rages late at night if you had them. He'd take you in any form you came to him, growing pains and all. He'd teach you how to live again.
He only hoped that you wouldn't hate him forever for bringing you back.

You will always be my Boot
Main masterlist | The rookie masterlist
Tim Bradford x FBI!FormerRookie!reader Fandom: The Rookie
Summary: You are a former FBI agent and come back to your roots after many years. Little did you know Tim waited for you all these years.
A/N: This is my first Tim Bradford one ever and I know I need some improvement in this police area. I'm thinking about making a part two of this. Anyways, let me know what you think. Have a wonderful day, bubs! Lots of love.
Requested: Yes Words: 2.5k Requests for Tim Bradford are open! GIF not mine, credits to the owner.
The flight was exhausting and the shitty bed from that cheap motel was even worse. They'd think an FBI agent would afford a five star hotel and a warm meal, instead of that reheated noodles you had last night, but LA is expensive as shit. One thing you didn't miss about this city were those self-centred Hollywood "stars" and the exorbitant prices.
You watched the time over and over again, shaking your foot nervously. You are ready to go, but you just can't gather the courage to face those police officers again. The bathroom light is dim and you put the blame on that for your horrendous bun, not because you lost practice. You redo the bun one more time and watch yourself in the mirror. LAPD uniform hugs your curves so perfectly and the overloaded belt accentuates your waist. You allow yourself to wear a small smile today, for the sake of old times.
The tranquility of the morning was shattered by the unmistakable sound of gunshots ringing out in the distance. Instantly alert, with your heart pounding in your chest as adrenaline surged through your veins, you grabbed your service weapon and badge, slipping them into your waistband as you hurried out the door and into the cool morning air.
As you made your way down the narrow staircase of the motel, the sounds of the gunshots grew louder, sending a chill down your spine. Stepping out onto the sidewalk, you quickly assessed the situationâa group of armed men engaged in a shootout with one another only a few blocks away. Confusion made its way to your mind; why would some people from the same gang fire at each other?
As you analyse their tattoos, some have it on their neck, some on their wrist, it snapped. You recognise those tattoos from your FBI files that lay on your motel bed, two different markings, two different gangs. Dangerous ones, wanted ones.
Without a second thought, you sprang into action, ducking behind parked cars and storefronts, you closed in on the scene, your heart pounding in your chest as you prepared to confront them. There's no time to wait for backup. And who'd you call anyway?
With a burst of adrenaline, you emerged from cover and sprinted towards the gunmen, your weapon drawn and ready. The element of surprise worked in your favor as you caught them off guard, their attention momentarily diverted as they turned to face you.
"Drop your weapons! FBI!" you shouted, your voice ringing out clear and commanding above the chaos of the shootout.
For a moment, there was hesitation in their eyes, uncertainty flickering across their faces as they weighed their options. But then, with a defiant snarl, they raised their guns once more, their fingers tightening on the triggers.
Time seemed to slow as the standoff unfolded, each moment stretched to its breaking point as you and the felons locked eyes, the tension thick in the air. And then, with a burst of gunfire, the situation erupted into chaos once more.
Bullets flew past you in a deadly dance as you returned fire, each shot ringing out like a thunderclap in the stillness of the morning. You managed to hit two of them, one in the shoulder, that dropped the gun and grabbed their wound in shock and the other one in the thigh, forcing them to fall into the ground. You didn't had enough handcuffs to secure them all, so it was your priority to stop them from running away until the officers arrived.
It's crazy to see how four rival gang members united to get rid of you when seconds before were about to blow their heads off.
"I said, drop your weapons, now!" you demanded to the masked one still standing, gunshots finally stopping. You didn't see any response or will to do so and that made you place aim for their legs as well, forcing them to collapse. "Hands behind your back, intertwine your fingers."
Before handcuffing them, you pulled up your phone and searched for that one number.
"Sergeant Grey" the voice on the other side responded.
"Agent Y/L/N, FBI. I have in custody two of Crenshaw and two of Tongan. I need backup and R/A. Crenshaw bulevard with W 66th Street." you informed Sergeant Grey.
"Copy that."
Not long after you made the call, three cars and an ambulance pulled up to the address you gave. The look on the officers faces when they saw you holding one handcuffed suspect and three injured on the street, was as satisfying as catching those. Adrenaline still coursing through your veins, you couldn't help but feel a sense of pride wash over you.
"Y/L/N, FBI." you presented yourself to the officers, you showed your badge and shake their hands, each wearing a mortified expression after they heard your name. "After they're checked, let's get going. I'm late for my first day." you demanded and the six officers nodded as an understanding.
You could tell by the look on their faces, some of them are rookies. You can't forget those eyes, you had the exact same expression when you were a rookie and as Tim as your T.O. didn't help much.
"Agent Y/L/N." a serious tone came from just as a serious man. Sergeant Grey standing tall and imposing in the booking room as you walked the men to one of the benches and let another officer take care of him. As you approached the man, a big and friendly smile appeared on his face "It's so good to have you back."
"Good to be back, sir." you accepted his handshake with that small smile from the morning that you promised yourself you'd be wearing all day.
Your name was on everyone's lips as you walked through the station besides Grey.
It had been years since you last walked these familiar corridors, but as you made your way toward the meeting room, a sense of nostalgia washed over you.
"Is that Y/N?" one officer whispered to another, having the impression you didn't hear them.
"Yeah. Still hot. Heard she's working with FBI now." that remark made you turn your head in their direction, locking your eyes with one of them as he swallowed the lump in his throat and returning to his seat.
Inside, the meeting room was filled with the buzz of conversation as officers gathered for the morning briefing. All eyes turned to you as you entered, whispers and murmurs following in your wake. You could feel the weight of their scrutiny, their curiosity palpable in the air as they watched the former FBI agent return to their ranks.
"Good morning everyone. Sorry I'm late, had to take care of something so early this morning because someone doesn't sleep." he glanced at you and the murmur stopped when the eyes landed on you standing in the doorframe. "Take a sit." you nodded and sat down in the first row.
"Is that Y/N?" Lucy whispered to Nolan and Jackson. It was impossible to shake the feeling of being under a microscope, every move you made scrutinized by your colleagues.
"Hell, yeah, she is!" Jackson laid his eyes on you and gave you an appreciation smile.
As the sergeant launched into the details of the day's assignments and priorities, you found it difficult to concentrate, the weight of everyone's eyes on you making it hard to focus. But you pushed through, determined to prove yourself in your new role as a police officer.
"Today we made serious progress towards the gangs that won't let Los Angeles sleep in peace. Agent Y/L/N, first thing in the morning had in custody four men, almost as important as the gang leaders." your mind zoned out, you already knew that story. But what you didn't know and what's really eating you inside is that specific blond man.
In the corner of the room, Talia and Angela exchanged knowing glances, their whispers barely audible over the sergeant's voice.
"Can you believe she's back?" Angela muttered.
"I heard she was with the FBI," Talia replied, her voice tinged with curiosity. "Wonder what brought her back here."
"From an FBI agent to an officer? Seems like a joke to me..." Lopez paused as she looked at Tim for a moment. "Maybe something bad happened. Maybe she did something bad." the excitement of her voice was unquestionable.
Meanwhile, Tim Bradford watched from his seat at the front of the room, his expression unreadable as he observed the scene unfolding before him. Memories of your time together as rookie and training officer flashed through his mind, the bond you had shared still lingering despite the years apart.
"I heard she was the best rookie this station ever had. And it was his rookie, can you believe that!" Angela's mind was focused on one subject and one only. She is more than convinced that something has happened between you and Tim.
"Almost 100 on every exam and she was the only person this grumpy smiled to!" Talia added, making Tim shift uncomfortable in his seat, his eyes not letting the sight of you even for a second.
"That's not true. And I'm not grumpy, I do smile..." Tim responded to their feminine gossip, something he's not doing too often. He still thinks it's a waste of time this kind of conversation and one's personal life is no one's business, but maybe, maybe he wants to know more about you. "Sometimes"
He was wondering as well what could've possibly had happened to make you come back to LA, knowing very well how much you hated the city and how much you suffered the moment you stepped on that plane.
Tim's heart was below the sea's surface, buried inside the burning hell somewhere since the moment he caught a glimpse of your siluete walking around these hallways again. His hands were sweating and the lump in his throat could swallow him.
But you were nowhere far away from that feeling either. All the feelings from back then were coming alive faster than the light-speed and the memories of the time you were his rookie, the looks, the touches, the sweetness of his words alongside the glances from your colleagues made your eyes fill with bittersweet tears. You had to raise your head a little and blink as fast as you could to make those tears disappear and take a few deep breaths to calm down. You have to put this feelings aside. Now.
As the meeting drew to a close, Sergeant Gray turned his attention to you, his gaze lingering for a moment before moving on to the next item on the agenda.
"You're dismissed and be safe out there!" Gray closed the meeting and everyone rushed to start the day.
You waited for everyone to clear the room, mostly because you hate crowded places and people jostling around. You kept your head low, already full of everyone staring. When the room cleared just enough, you wanted to make your way to Sergeant Gray's office when a big, warm hand landed on your shoulder, freezing you on spot.
Some time ago, you knew by heart every single trace and curve of that hand, and now your mind doesn't disappoint you remembering it all with just a blink. His breath winding down your spine as minty as always.
You hated him. You hated yourself. Damn, you hate everyone and everything this moment.
"Y/N." his voice was as overwhelming as always and it made your feet weak. It made you weak and it hit you hard right into your bones. You didn't think twice and as you raised your chin up high and faked a confident expression, you turned to your heels to face him. Once and for all. "I can't believe you're back."
"Tim" you nodded, greeting him with a smile. This time a genuine one, wider and more powerful than the one you had forced yourself to wear all day. Not a forced one, but one that you found you couldn't hide. "It's been a while." you cleared your throat and searched his eyes.
They were staring right into your soul with the same spark and love you've missed so much. It seems like you've never changed, seems like everything is just the way it was. Like he was your TO, teaching you, teasing you, caring for you, having your back and you were his rookie, learning from him, turning into the best version of him, making him proud.
The air between you crackled with unspoken tension as you struggled to find the right words to say. The spark that had once ignited between you still burned bright, despite the years and distance that had separated you.
"How are you? How's Isabel?"
"Uh-Yeah..." he paused for a moment, the light in his eyes fading. "We separated a few months ago."
Tim wished this words would hurt more admitting them in front of you, would hurt just as much as he hurt you. But it didn't. That wound is almost healed, making room for another one to open.
"Oh, Tim. I'm so sorry" you were sincere, though not with all your heart. You knew it must've hurt like hell having in mind how much Tim loved his wife. But at some point he loved you too. Maybe not as much as her, maybe more, maybe less.
"But I'm fine, yeah. It's past now." he cracked a smile, resting his arm on the table as close to your thigh as you could feel its warmth. "What about you? Making an entrance for sure. Catching those guys from Crenshaw and Tongan, impressive. I taught you well." oh, he knows what he's doing and watching your shield breaking before his eyes, he's delighted.
"Oh, don't be so cockyâ"
"Why are you here? Why now?" he asked. You rested your hand on your belt and raised an eyebrow as a response to his questions.
"You know I can't tell you." he sighed at your words, realising just now maybe the things are not how they were. You are not as open to him or talkative as before. You are not in love with him as you were before. But he's not done trying yet.
"Dinner tonight?" Tim was bold for sure and his question took you by surprise. You weighed the answer, but before you could say yes, he continued "I can't lose the chance again. I can't lose you again, Boot."
"Okay, yes!" you pushed your finger into his chest "Stop making those puppy eyes, you know I can't resist." he laughed and before you can walk away, he grabbed your waist and kissed your forehead gently. His lips lingering on your skin few more seconds, memorising your sweet scent, trying to remember it, like if he could ever forget.
"It's good to have you back, Boot!"
"Stop calling me 'Boot'!" you fought back, annoyed, but he enjoyed every moment. He missed you like hell and now all of this is hitting him hard in the face like a... boot. "I'm not your Boot" you persisted.
"Oh, you'll always be my Boot!"

Your Own Happy Ending
Mouthwashing gang X Reader
AN: Can be read as platonic, and can be implied to be any/multiple characters. Except Jimmy. Fuck you Jimmy
Sum: Enough was enough. Time to get off this stupid Rock
Warnings: 18+, violence, sexual assault, revenge fic, talks about rape, gore, happy ending donât worry, trauma, mouth wash, graphic violence, written by a victim of sexual assault and giving all of us that need to get revenge on our abusers. I see you, guys gals and nonbinary pals. I see you
This had to stop. He was going to just hurt more and more people. There will be more victims. You canât become a victim, you canât have the ones you love be under his hands. No. No one deserved this.
No one except him.
Curly was at deaths door, Anya is going to reach a point of no return in her pregnancy, Daisuke is on the edge of a mental break down, and even Swansea is shattering apart. One bottle of mouthwash at a time.
You didnât know what will happen next. You were crashed in god knows where, but maybe there is a chance of hope. Maybe there is a way to get home. Maybe. Maybe maybe maybe.
The cockpit is full of foam, but who says you canât just cut away at it enough to access a transmitter? Whatâs else is left to do? Not like waiting and praying is helping.
Would explain why Jimmy refused to let anyone have the keys to the pit.
He didnât want his sins to escape.
Youâll make them escape out of his damn body.
There was no way Anya was going to tell you where the gun was. Guess that means youâll need to improvise. Had a ax. A ax can do it, but getting it away from Swansea is going to be troubling. He was keeping it as much for self defense at this point as you would have to.
You needed a weapon.
Your hands couldnât handle it. Jimmy was able to do so much harm already. Anya was most likely not his only victim. Heâs certainly done this before. Meaning he knows how to fight, and get someone pinned under him. There to do whatever he wanted.
You had to get him before he got you.
What else could be a weapon?
A knife? A knife!
You ran into the kitchen, much to the confusion of Swansea and Daisuke, only to start tearing the drawers out. Utensils flying everywhere as you tried to find something. Anything sharp.
To your horror there was no knives.
âHe took all the knivesâŚ.â
You looked over, same for Swansea, as it had been Daisuke who said it.
Daisuke said it.
âThey are all in Curlyâs old room. Since heâs the new captain now he has the ability to lock down that door. No one gets in, and no one gets out. Whatever he wants to hide is there. Noticed him hoarding things there. Was so confusedâŚ..Now Iâm not anymore.â
Swansea looked ready to start swinging his ax at the nearest body of organs. He couldnât believe this was real. That this was some shining bullshit.
This couldnât go on.
âSwan, Daisuke, you guys gotta grab Anya and hide out in the med-bay. Iâll find something. Iâll find something-â You rambled on, before Anya had poked her head in. Seeing Swansea holding Daisuke, and trying to keep that ray of sunshine from finally snapping.
âWhatâs going on?â She would whisper. Ever afraid if she spoke to loud that Jimmy would find her. Find her and do something else. Didnât matter where she was. He was always breathing down her neck. One way or another.
âLittle junior adventurer over there wants to finish the job.â Swansea would grit his teeth, as you still kept hunting down for something. Willing to tear apart cushions. You had to find SOMETHING. Maybe you could break a chair leg, maybe you could use some wires. Maybe maybe maybe-
Thatâs when Anya held your shoulder. Her tired eyes pulled you away from the incoming insanity. Brought you back to reality, and had you listen. Listen for just a moment.
âThis is where the jugular vein is-â She begun, as she pointed to her neck. Then started to name off more vital arteries, before pulling a scalpel from her pocket. Into your hands they went, as she kept listing off every vital vein possible. Weak points every body had.
Even a man like him.
âLast I saw him he was exploring the lower decks. PleaseâŚ..Just make it quick.â As much as she hated him, she just could only bring herself to be only so cold. She could never be as cruel as Jimmy. To wish death onto someone. Never would she.
Thatâs what made her forever better than him.
âCome on, kid. You ainât gonna wanna see this. Get over here, Anya. Come on. Letâs go have a sleepover with Captain Curly.â He would motion her over, and she would snuggle under his arm. The two safe in his arms, as he would walk them to the med-bay.
Was wise for him to keep the ax. That thing was what kept Jimmy from doing his own finishing of the job. You canât over power him. No you canât. There was also the fact Anya made sure to keep the gun hidden. You wouldnât deny the idea it was in the med-bay somewhere. Just more protection if anything.
Theyâll be safe. If you didnât make it, at least youâll make sure Jimmy is too weak to try anything more to hurt them. Weak enough for someone else to finish the job. What mattered now was them staying away until the job was done, and for you to figure out what to do next.
You needed that damn key.
You would stuff your hands in your pockets, grip tight on the scalpel, and started walking. Walking, thinking, listening. Eyes glued to anything that could offer an opportunity to be jumped. You had to be vigilant.
As you walked you would notice the door that was once Curlyâs. How Jimmy didnât deserve the luxury of what a Captain gets. Made you wonder what else he was also hoarding in that room. Maybe he was hoarding resources that should have been shared with the rest of you. There could be the slimmest chance that he was hiding away a transmitter even. Not having the guts to destroy it, and maybe even as far as to what for the rest of them to kill each other before he called for help.
That coward.
You had to get his keys. You needed those keys for those you love. They deserved to live. YOU deserved to live. No way in hell will Jimmy keep getting away with this. Never again. Never more.
Your nerves were getting tighter and tighter now. Even the sound of your own heart beat was painfully loud in your head. The sweat on your skin, the itch of your skin being too tight, the pounding of drums, the feeling of air pushing at your ribcage. So much as your eyes blinking was to loud.
Everything was to loud.
Thatâs when a bang of metal hitting metal alerted you. You spun around, and was just met with nothing. Just an empty, dark, hallway. No source of the noise. Maybe there was none to begin with. Just your nerves.
âDeep breaths. Deep breaths. You know you have to do this. There is no other option. You can do this. For Anya, for Daisuke, and for Swansea.â
A wipe to your brow and you returned to hunting him down.
Felt like an eternity. Just endless hallways in red lights of emergency. Hallways blocked off by foam. Was a scarlet bouncy castle of horror. Never did the ship feel so endless yet so tight. Maybe the ship itself was breathing to.
Never did you think you would be happy to see his ugly face.
He was down in the lower decks, seeming to be trying to access a door that Swansea had managed to block off. Swansea was stronger than he looked, and was a mechanic no less. Jerry rigged a makeshift lock for the door. If you recall correctly that was where the cryo-sleep pods were. He had been working to try and fix them up, but you doubt they survived. Guess itâs better to pretend you are doing something useful than do nothing at all.
âHey Jim, whatcha doing?â You tried your best to act casual, as you watched him trying to get the lock off. A mixture of locking mechanics and bent metal that kept things in place. Jimmy just didnât have the body weight to unbend them. Who ever said being fat wasnât useful?
âTrying to get into this damn room. Be useful and help me, wonât you?â He grumbled, as he kept trying to pull the metal.
This was your chance.
This almost felt to perfect. He was distracted, hyper focused on something, and was crouching. You would have the upper hand. You can pull this off. You just had to fight your nerves.
âYeah yeah yeah. Iâm coming.â You would say, as you would walk closer to him. Flashes crossed your vision with each step. Was like blurs of a shadow puppet show. Visions of his talle outline pinning Anya to the ground, another of him pinning Daisuke to a wall. Even Swansea wasnât free from the concept of being pinned to a surface and abused.
No one was safe with Jimmy still around.
You would soon be standing behind him, as he focused on the lock. He was right there. You just had to do it. Do what Anya showed you. His neck was exposed. It was right there. You just had to do it.
You pulled your weapon out, and took in a deep breath.
Just as you brought your arm to swing, Jimmy turned around.
Happened in a flash. You made contact with his skin, but it was his cheek instead. He would tumble over, and was quick to kick your legs out from under you. Had you slam your back to the ground. Knocked the wind out of you.
âI fucking KNEW IT-! YOU GOD DAMN BITCH-!â Was like he wasnât even human anymore. Just as much of an animal on the outside as he was on the inside. You had to run. You had to get out of there. You fucked up your perfect chance. Your messed up and heâs going to remind you that you did.
You attempted to get up, but Jimmy was just that much faster than you. Your ankle was grabbed, and he was yanking you closer. You couldnât stop yourself from screaming, as he would try and pry the medical tool from you.
âGET OFF OF ME YOU RAPIST PIECE OF SHIT-!â You nearly sobbed, as he stared down at you. Your wrists pinned above your head, as he just gawked at you. Was like he never even heard the word before.
âRapist? You think Iâm a fucking rapist? You little fucking bitch. Iâm no such damn thing. What happened between us was nothing of the sort. It was just what happens when someone gets in my way. Reaching your goals isnât a crime. Is it?â He asked you, as you kept struggling under him. Trying to get away.
âFuck. YOU-!â And you slammed your face into his. Gave you a blinding headache instantly, but the shock of contact was enough to make him let go. You were soon crawling, and now running, away.
âIM GOING TO KILL YOU! IM GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOU LIKE IVE BEEN TRYING TO DO WITH CRASHING THIS STUPID SHIP!â His voice echoed like the demon from hell he was.
You never thought such fear like this could be in your body.
Your vision was a blurry mess from the head bang, but you just used the walls to offer you guidance. To try and find a place to breathe, and wait. To try again. You wonât give up. You refused to give up.
âCOME BACK HERE-! YOU CANT RUN FOREVER! THERES NOWHERE ELSE FOR YOU TO GO-!â He would threaten you. His voice just seeming to be coming from everywhere. Was like he was inside of your own head. Like he was all of your insecurities crawling through your skull, and turning your brain into a mushy puddle of doubt and fear.
You still kept going.
You would find yourself back into the dinning hall, and took your chance in hiding in the kitchen area. Ducking down and hiding yourself by the elevated counters. If he kept running he shouldnât notice you.
You would hold your knees, recollect yourself, and breathed.
The echoes of his running foot steps were like alarm bells in your ears. To hear them get closer, more distant, then closer again. Clearly having lost where you went, but still keeping up chance. How did he have so much energy? He must have been indeed hoarding resources. No way should someone surviving off mouthwash have this much stamina.
Your confused thoughts were cut short by the quickening pace of the foot steps. From banging on metal to proper flooring. He had entered the kitchen. He was breathing hard, and just boiling in anger.
âWhereâs that fucking bitch? Where did that fucker go?â He would pant, as you would hear something sharp run over the counter marble. Must have grabbed a knife from his bedroom. Maybe that meant he left the door unlocked as well.
That could be your chance to get a proper weapon.
You just had to wait. Wait and pray he didnât look over the counter.
You couldnât tell where he was looking, but you needed to risk it. You would grab for one of the spoons off the ground, and threw it as far as you could. Into the hallway to the next part of the ship. You managed to get enough distance. The sound of metal hitting on the grates was loud. You swore you could feel the head thwip of Jimmy turning towards it.
âFound you-!â He shouted cockily, as he ran into that direction.
âDumbass.â You muttered, as you soon ran the opposite way. Trying to find his room before he realized he was had.
You even went as far as to take off your shoes, so your feet made much less noise. Harder to be tracked and followed. Never did you think listening to Daisuke ramble about horror movie logic would come in handy. Gave some weird morbid hope that maybe Anya will be a final girl and make it out of here alive.
You would hear the foot steps echoing around you, as you tried to stalk quieter towards the dorm hallways. Was so hard to make out where they were going and coming from. The distant shouts of annoyance werenât helping either. Was just making you more aware of your own mortality.
Luckily you managed to find the door. He snuck inside, and closed the door. Maybe he would think he locked it behind himself and not even think of checking in there. Maybe he was dumb enough to be fooled.
When in the room you couldnât help but be disgusted by the sight. He really was hoarding food! The knives were also laid all out on his desk. Organized like he was planning to use them. There was also a trans communicator. Just as you thought there was. You thought it was suspicious there wasnât a means to transfer information in case of an emergency. Even Pony Express had to have THAT. Suppose believing it was just consumed by foam was easier. Maybe it was and he dug it out himself.
No matter. You had hope.
You quickly grab the device, and turned it on. By god it WORKED!
âHello? Hello?! This is the Tulpar for The Pony Express! Weâve been crash landed for months! Pony express has laid us off and hasnât sent any rescue by proxy! Can you hear me?!â You couldnât help but shout, as the transmitter would crackle.
âWe read you loud and clear. How many are on the ship?â You were sobbing. No way. Someone was actually hearing you!
âFive! We have five people here! One in critical condition! Captain Curly! Heâs alive! Alive but having suffered the most from the crash. We are running lower on medical supplies, we have very little food, weâve been drinking fucking mouth wash to survive!â You weeped, as the person on the other end was taking in the information.
You said five for a reason.
âKeep on the line with us as we track your signal. Are you in any immediate danger?â The person asked.
âYES YOU ARE-!â Jimmy would shout behind you, before stabbing you right in your shoulder. You screamed bloody murder, as the person on the line gasped. Despite the pain, you were keeping your grip on the communicator. You werenât letting go. No you fucking WONT.
âSTUBBORN BITCH-!â He shouted at you, as you used your body to protect that communicator with all your body and life. You didnât care if he was going to kill you now. You were getting everyone home. You were and you fufilled your mission.
âJust get it over with already you coward! How many people did you rape?! Huh?! Was Anya the first?! Like hell! Sheâs your most recent! Was Daisuke next?! Was I next?!â You called out, as you had nothing to lose anymore. You were going down with your own ship, unlike him.
âIf you have to know, Anya wasnât my last at least. She really thought leaving me alone with Curly was smart. Dumb whore-â He would yank out the knife, making you bleed and scream. The hot searing pain was just beyond words. You were seeing stars, and not the kind you wanted.
âWas figuring how many I could get away with. Didnât think she would actually tell anyone. Didnât think much about her at all. Guess you live and learn. You live and l-â
Bang.
Silence.
Silence, the crackle of a communicator, and the ever breathing ship.
With a thud to the ground you were able to finally gain some vision to look over. Over to see Jimmy was dead on the ground, with a bullet hole through his forehead. Those terrifying eyes were now glsssy and empty. Looked almost relaxed. The only time he seemed to rest.
He was dead.
Your vision was blurring, and noise around you was muffled. All you could hear was muffled noise. Was like you were underwater. Your vision was starting to blur again as well. Couldnât make out shapes.
You thought you saw someone with black hair above you. Seeming to grab something and speak into it. Was there something yellow to? Yellow and shaking you? There was also this almost pinkish blur as well. Came to you, and you swore you heard someone saying âyouâre a heroâ before it all went to black.
One Month After The Call.
âMorning sunshine.â
You would groan, as you rubbed at your eyes. What happened? Was it all some bad dream? Where were you? This place didnât look like the med-bay. Was so clean and white. There were windows too. Holy shit was that daylight? REAL daylight?
âOver here.â
You turned your head, and you saw him. Captain Curly. Looked so much better than when you last recalled him. His skin wasnât as red, proper bandages were on him, and his lips even seemed to be healing back. Skin graphs? Was still laying in a bed, but far more cared for. Proper bedding, clean, IV bags, andâŚWaitâŚ..Did he speak?!
âBeen out a while. Donât worry not much to catch you up on. You kinda went into a medical coma, from what Anya tried to explain to me. Everyone agreed to put you in the Cryo-Pod until help arrived. Was the only way to keep us both alive. All the resources had to go to me, sorry about that, so they had to pretty much freeze you in time. Big Swan had managed to make it function enough to work until the rescue team came for us. Welcome to the land of the living, hero.â
Even with his messed up complexion, and voice so hoarse you thought he himself was speaking through a communicator, you smiled. A hero huh? Wait. That meantâŚ.
âDid Anya pull the trigger?â You asked, with your own voice rasp from lack of use.
âYeah. Yeah she did. We heard you screaming and she justâŚ.Couldnât let you be his next victim. You gave her some bravery. I already knew she was brave, but damn. Who needs a Captain when you have her?â His laughter was painful, but you knew it was worth it.
âHowâs everyone else?â
âAnya has been working with staff here. They took her in to be a doctor with them when they saw that the likes of me was still alive and functional. They really didnât want to lose someone as smart as her. Daisuke has been glued here as much as us-â He would weakly raise his arm, whatâs left anyway, towards the sleeping solider. Curled up on a spare cot that was brought in for him. The staff having been understanding that he deserved to be around you both. His parents most likely were the ones to bring in all the video games for him to play with and show Curly as well. Even after so much he was still taking care of the ones he loved.
âSwansea?â You worried the most, since you wondered where he could be.
âSueing the ever living fuck out of Pony Express for whatever damn dime they have left. Daisukeâs parents, and him, have been at the forefront on it all. He will come visit us soon. Get some rest, sunshine. Youâve earned it.â But you couldnât help but worry. A worry that one person wasnât accounted for.
âHeâs dead. I do mean dead dead. By the time help arrived he had already well started decomposing. Swansea even went the extra mile and cut his head off from his body. Kinda overkill, but heyâŚ.Canât take risks with monsters. Right?â You nodded at that, as you were able to rest.
No more Jimmy.
No more space ships.
Time to finally be a princess and get your beauty sleep.
âSleep well, sunshine.â
âYou to, Captain.â
A deep breath in of that sterilized air, fresh cut grass, and clean cotton.
You were free.

Making Up After an Argument With: Vice Housewardens + Kalim
part 1 with overblot gang + rollo
more hurt/comfort for the soul!
Trey Clover:
It had been days since your argument with Trey. Days of agonizing silence. Days of avoiding each other in the hallways, sidestepping glances in the cafeteria, and pretending not to exist when you crossed paths in class. It was ridiculous.
You could barely even remember what you had argued about. Something about cake batter consistency? Or was it his relentless calmness in the face of your very valid cake-related frustration? Regardless, this had gone on long enough.
And you? Well, you were dramatic by nature, so if you were going to apologize to Trey, it needed to be big. Monumental. The stuff of legends.
So you did what any normal person would do: you put together an apology that could have come straight out of a Shakespearean tragedy.
The setting: Trey's dorm room.
The plan: Apologize with flair.
The execution? Well⌠here goes.
You kicked open the door to his roomâliterally, because who needs normalcy when youâre trying to make a grand entrance?
âTREYYYYY!!!â you wailed, throwing yourself to the floor dramatically as if you had just collapsed under the weight of your own misery. You didnât even bother getting upâno, you stayed there, prone on the floor, arms stretched out in a cross shape like you were trying to summon a deity.
Trey looked up from his desk, eyes wide in utter disbelief at the absolute spectacle in front of him. His glasses slid down his nose slightly as he blinked, staring at you as if he couldnât decide whether to laugh or be concerned.
â...what are you doing?â he asked, his voice slow, measured, and cautious. This was so much even for you.
You grabbed a pillow from his bed, clutching it to your chest as you rolled over dramatically, eyes squinted in faux despair. âI have wronged you, dear Trey,â you moaned, as though you were performing an award-winning monologue on stage. âI have been a FOOL, a BRAT, a mere shadow of the decent human I once was. I came here to THROW MYSELF at your FEET and beg for FORGIVENESS!â
Trey blinked again. He was so calm that it almost made you want to scream. This was serious! You were performing your soul out right now!
You pushed yourself up to your knees, crawling a little closer to him, throwing your arms up to the ceiling. âI have spent these past few days in agony,â you continued, voice now filled with the heavy weight of tragic longing. âMy life without you has been like a cupcake without frosting! Like tea without sugar! Likeâlike⌠a world without your glasses to reflect the sunlight into my soul!â
Trey pressed his lips together, clearly fighting back a smile. You continued, undeterred.
âMy heart is broken, shattered, like the eggs we once cracked together to make the finest sponge cake. And now⌠now, Trey Clover, I come to you, humble and pleading. I ask you to take pity on this poor wretch who was too blind to see the treasure before them. Forgive me, Trey. Please. Donât let me die from thisâthis unbearable torment!â
There was a pause. A long one. Trey stared at you with that soft, almost amused expression, and then he sighed, shaking his head as he got up from his desk.
âYouâre ridiculous, you know that?â he said, walking over to you. He crouched down beside you, his tone gentle despite the absurdity of the situation.
Still fully committed to your performance, you grabbed his hands and held them to your chest, staring up at him with wide, imploring eyes. âRidiculous for you, Trey. Only for you.â
He finally broke, a chuckle escaping his lips as he looked at you, shaking his head. âAlright, alright. Get up. You donât have to be so over the top.â
You hesitated, playing up the pause before you dramatically threw yourself onto him, burying your face into his stomach like a child seeking forgiveness. âI wonât get up until you forgive me!â you cried, muffled against his shirt.
Trey let out a sigh of fond exasperation, patting the top of your head like you were an unruly puppy. âYouâre impossible.â
With a final chuckle, he pulled you up to your feet. âI forgive you. You donât have to grovel,â he said, his voice warm, but there was something in his eyes that looked a little distant, a little⌠sad?
Thatâs when the theatrics faded. You could see it, plain as day, the little dip in his expression, the way his smile didnât quite reach his eyes. Something wasnât right.
You tilted your head, watching him carefully. âHey⌠is something wrong?â
Trey blinked, glancing away for a second before letting out a small sigh. âNo, itâs⌠itâs nothing. Really.â
You stepped closer, lowering your voice as you rested a hand on his arm. âTrey, come on. I know you better than that.â
He hesitated, then ran a hand through his hair, glancing out the window before he finally spoke. âItâs just⌠I didnât know if youâd come back.â His voice was quieter now, more vulnerable than youâd ever heard it. âI thought⌠I donât know, maybe youâd decide that Iâm not as interesting or⌠exciting as some of the other people around here. Iâm just the guy who bakes and keeps everything running smoothly.â
You felt your heart twist at his words. Trey, always so calm and collected, always in the background, thinking he wasnât enough? How wrong he was.
âTreyâŚâ you said softly, stepping even closer now, so close that your forehead was practically brushing his chest. âYouâre wrong. Youâre everything I want. Youâre more than enough.â
He looked down at you, surprised by the sincerity in your voice.
You reached up, cupping his face gently in your hands, making him look directly at you. âYou donât have to be flashy or dramatic or anything else. I donât want that. I just want you. The Trey who cares, who listens, whoâs always there when I need him, even when Iâm being a total idiot.â You smiled softly. âYouâre steady, and thatâs what makes you special. Not everyone else.â
Treyâs eyes softened, and for a moment, he just stared at you, like he was trying to process your words. Then, with a small, almost shy smile, he pulled you into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around you as if he was afraid to let go.
âThank you,â he murmured into your hair, his voice low and full of emotion.
You squeezed him back, your earlier theatrics now a distant memory as you felt the warmth of his embrace. âI mean it, Trey. Youâre perfect the way you are.â
There was a moment of quiet, just the two of you standing there, holding onto each other. It wasnât grand or dramaticâit was simple, and honest, and perfect.
And then, because you couldnât help yourself, you whispered, âPlus, your cakes are way better than anyone elseâs.â
He laughed softly, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. âYou really are something else, you know that?â
You grinned against his chest. âOnly for you, Trey. Only for you.â
Ruggie Bucchi
The silent treatment between you and Ruggie had stretched on longer than either of you expected. And it was killing you. The worst part? Neither of you was budging. Stubborn as all get-out. But you werenât just any regular personâyou were extra. If you were going to break the silence, youâd do it in the most dramatic, over-the-top way possible.
And what was Ruggieâs greatest weakness?
Food.
So, here you were, standing at the doorstep of Ruggieâs dorm with a feast in your hands. You had collected everything from the cafeteriaâpies, cakes, sandwiches, chipsâanything edible that would appeal to his sense of taste, because this wasnât just about an apology; this was an event.
And like any event, you were about to turn this into the most theatrical, food-based apology in the history of NRC.
You knocked on his door three times. The door creaked open slightly, and Ruggie peeked through the gap, eyes narrowing when he saw you standing there. âWhat do you want?â
He still sounded salty. But, of course, you had prepared for this.
âI come⌠bearing gifts,â you said, lifting the massive tray of food with all the grandeur of a royal presenting treasure to the king. âA peace offering! An apology! A banquet for the ages!â
Ruggieâs eyes widened as he took in the sheer amount of food. âWhat is all this?â
âOur reconciliation,â you declared, dramatically. âI come humbly, with my arms full of all that your stomach desires. For I have wronged you, Ruggie Bucchi, and I must beg for forgiveness in the only way I know howâwith food.â
Ruggie stared at you, lips twitching as if he wasnât sure whether to laugh or kick you out. âYouâre being ridiculous.â
âI know,â you wailed, feigning anguish. âIâm a fool, Ruggie! A foolish, foolish person! But a fool who knows that you wonât stay mad when thereâs a perfectly good tray of sandwiches right in front of you.â
He arched a brow. âYouâre bribing me with food?â
âAbsolutely.â
He crossed his arms over his chest, staring at you as if sizing you up. âWhat if I say no?â
Without missing a beat, you plopped yourself down on the floor, placing the tray on your lap. âThen Iâll just sit here and eat everything in front of your door until you feel so guilty, youâll have to forgive me.â
There was a beat of silence before Ruggie snorted, unable to keep the smirk off his face. âYouâre crazy.â
âAnd yet⌠you havenât closed the door,â you shot back, giving him a sly smile.
Ruggie let out a long-suffering sigh but stepped aside, allowing you into his dorm room with all your extravagant offerings.
Once inside, you laid the food out on the table as if setting up for a feast. Plates and bowls and traysâeverything perfectly arranged in the most ridiculous spread you could muster. You turned to him, arms open wide like a game show host revealing the grand prize.
âFor you, my dear, a meal to rival kings!â you announced with a flourish. âAnd also my heartfelt apology.â
Ruggie eyed the spread, trying to keep his expression neutral, but you could see the gears turning. You knew him. He wasnât one to say no to free food, no matter how petty he was being.
âIâm listening,â he said, finally, leaning against the table as if he wasnât already plotting which dish to devour first.
You placed a hand on your heart, staring at him with as much sincerity as you could muster. âRuggie, Iâm sorry. I was being a brat. I didnât mean to snap at you over something so small, and I definitely didnât mean to let it drag out like this.â You paused, grabbing a sandwich and holding it out to him as if it were a peace token. âPlease forgive me?â
He looked at the sandwich, then at you, and then, after a long moment of hesitation, he snatched it out of your hand. âFine, fine. Youâre lucky I canât stay mad when thereâs food involved.â
You grinned, relief washing over you. âYouâre easy to bribe.â
âYouâre easy to apologize to,â he shot back, taking a huge bite of the sandwich. âBut yeah⌠I forgive you.â
You relaxed, plopping down into a chair across from him as you watched him devour the food with the same efficiency that he handled everything in life. But there was still something in his eyesâsomething that looked a little off, even though he was joking around now.
And then, almost as if reading your thoughts, Ruggie spoke.
âHey,â he said, his voice quieter now, less playful. âI⌠I gotta admit something.â
You blinked, straightening up a little. âYeah?â
Ruggie leaned back in his chair, staring down at the sandwich in his hands. âI know we fought over something stupid, but... Iâve been thinking. I was scared, yâknow?â He let out a bitter laugh. âI thought maybe you were realizing you could do better than someone like me. I mean, look at meâIâm always hustling, always trying to scrape by. Penny-pinching, scheming⌠Iâm not like all those rich, flashy guys youâre surrounded by.â
His words hung in the air, and your heart squeezed at the vulnerability in his voice.
âRuggie,â you said softly, standing up and walking over to him. You placed your hands on his shoulders, making him look up at you. âWhat are you talking about? I donât care about any of that. I care about you.â
He frowned, glancing away. âYeah, but⌠itâs hard not to feel like Iâm just some background guy, yâknow? Like youâd get tired of me eventually.â
You shook your head, feeling a rush of affection for this boy who always acted like he had the world figured out but was still so worried about being left behind.
âYouâre wrong,â you said firmly, cupping his face in your hands. âYouâre not just âsome background guy.â Youâre everything to me. I donât care about money or schemes or any of that. Youâre smart, youâre funny, you make me laugh every day, and youâre always looking out for me, even when I donât deserve it.â
Ruggieâs eyes softened, his lips parting slightly like he didnât know what to say.
You smiled, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to his forehead. âAnd besides,â you whispered, pulling back just enough to meet his gaze, âif you think Iâm gonna find someone better than the guy who can steal a whole feast from the cafeteria without getting caught, youâre seriously underestimating how much I value your skills.â
That finally earned a chuckle from him, his shoulders relaxing as he let out a breath heâd been holding. âYouâre ridiculous.â
âOnly for you,â you teased, planting another kiss on his cheek, then another on the tip of his nose, and thenâjust because you couldâone more on his lips.
Ruggie, now thoroughly kissed, wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you into his lap. âI guess I canât stay mad at you, huh?â he murmured, his voice soft now, all the tension from earlier melting away.
You smiled, wrapping your arms around his neck as you rested your forehead against his. âNot when Iâm this cute.â
He snorted, nuzzling into you. âYeah, yeah. Just donât make a habit out of fighting with me, or Iâm gonna get spoiled from all these fancy apologies.â
You grinned. âDeal. As long as you promise to remember that youâre more than enough for me.â
Ruggie looked up at you, his usual mischievous grin returning, but there was something warmer in his eyes now, something softer. âYeah. Iâll remember.â
And with that, you pulled him in for another kiss, sealing the apology and the promise with a little extra love.
Jade Leech:
The silent treatment between you and Jade Leech had been going on for far too long now. And, sure, you could be stubborn. You could match his pettiness tit-for-tat. But at some point, even the most ridiculous battles need a ceasefire. And this particular cold war was starting to wear you both down.
The tension had grown so thick it could probably be bottled and sold as premium-grade eelskin moisturizer. You weren't sure what had gotten you both so worked up in the first placeâsomething about a miscommunication over a rare mushroom and your tendency to call out his cryptic grins. It snowballed from there.
But today, you were going to be the bigger person.
Which meant it was time to break the ice. And not with any ordinary apologyâoh, no. Jade Leech wasnât a man swayed by simple words and chocolates. You needed something grander, something that spoke to his peculiar interests and refined tastes.
And that's how you found yourself in the local black marketâer, highly exclusive specialty shopâshelling out way too much money for some ultra-rare terrarium material. You didnât know what it was, exactly. It was glowy, mossy, and something Jade would probably coo over like a proud parent. Perfect.
And you had a plan. Not just any apology planâoh no, you were going to kill this with a one-two punch of heartfelt apology and a sweet gesture that no petty argument could stand up to.
That evening, you found yourself standing outside Mostro Lounge with your rare terrarium goods tucked under one arm and a small, handmade "Iâm Sorry" cake under the other. Because if thereâs one thing Jade Leech loves, it's weird, rare plant materials.
The Mostro Lounge was quiet, the perfect setup for your grand gesture. You pushed open the door and slipped inside, only to find Jade sitting at one of the tables, clearly deep in thought.
You cleared your throat loudly, and his eyes flicked up to meet yours, narrowing slightly. Oh, good, he was still feeling salty.
"Jade," you called out in a dramatic, over-the-top tone, walking toward him like you were making a royal entrance. "I come bearing gifts. The finest of gifts." You carefully set the rare terrarium material on the table before pulling the cake out of the box with a flourish.
Jade raised an eyebrow, his expression carefully neutral. âAh, how⌠thoughtful. And what, pray tell, is this?â he asked, eyeing the mossy material as if it were an amusing trinket.
You straightened up, grinning. âA rare moss that only grows under the full moon in the volcanic pits of the Obsidian Islands. I fought off twelve merchants for it. I might have bruised a kidney in the process, but hey, it's worth it for you."
Jade blinked, but his lips twitched. "How charmingly excessive," he said, though his tone was still icy. âAnd the cake?â
You set the cake down with a proud smile. âHomemade. No eels were harmed in the making of it, I promise. Consider it a peace offering⌠because, you know⌠maybe weâve been a little ridiculous?â
Jadeâs eyes slid back to the terrarium material, then back to you, and you could see that familiar glint of amusement cracking through his carefully composed exterior. âA little ridiculous? Hmm, perhaps thatâs one way to put it.â
You rolled your eyes. âOh, câmon, Jade. Weâve both been petty, and itâs getting us nowhere. You donât want to be in this weird stalemate forever, do you?â
He tilted his head, regarding you with that infuriatingly polite smile. âI was under the impression that this was a competition to see who could hold out the longest. But perhaps I underestimated your resolve.â
You groaned, but before you could say anything snarky back, Jadeâs gaze softened. He looked down at the cake, then at the terrarium material, and sighedâa sound so small and uncharacteristically vulnerable that it made your chest tighten.
"Truth be told,â he murmured, âI was beginning to think that this was the final straw. That I had ruined something good by being⌠well, myself." His voice dropped in volume, and for once, there wasnât a hint of teasing or sarcasm in it.
You blinked. Waitâwhat?
Jade Leech thought you were going to leave him? You? Sure, you'd had fights before, but this one was different, wasnât it? Still, the way he looked at you nowâguard down, that polite mask starting to crumbleâit hit you like a ton of bricks.
âJadeâŚâ You set the cake aside and moved toward him, gently tugging him into a hug. âIâm not going anywhere. You donât get rid of me that easily.â
For a moment, he was stiff, still clinging to his composure. But then, ever so slowly, his arms wrapped around you, and he buried his face into your shoulder.
âI didnât realize how much this argument was bothering you,â you said softly, running your fingers through his hair. âI thought we were both being silly, but⌠I should have known better. I shouldâve just apologized sooner.â
Jade was quiet for a few long moments, his arms tightening around you. When he finally spoke, his voice was softer than youâd ever heard it. âI wasnât sure if youâd come back. I thought perhaps youâd realized you deserved better than⌠well, someone like me. Someone so focused on... mischief."
You leaned back just enough to cup his face, forcing him to meet your eyes. âJade Leech, do you honestly think Iâd walk away because youâre⌠what, a little mysterious? Please. I love that about you.â You smiled, brushing a thumb over his cheek. âYouâre smart, and you make life interesting. You mean the world to me.â
Jadeâs eyes widened slightly, and for once, he looked genuinely surprised. Then, slowly, a small smile crept onto his lipsâsoft, real, and free of his usual smugness.
âYou have quite the way with words,â he murmured, leaning into your touch.
âIâve been practicing,â you teased, before leaning in to press a gentle kiss to his lips.
Jade melted into the kiss, and when you finally pulled back, he looked more at ease than he had in days.
âThank you,â he whispered, his forehead resting against yours.
You kissed him again, softer this time, before pulling him into another tight hug. âNo more silent treatment, okay? Next time, letâs just talk things out before it gets ridiculous.â
Jade chuckled softly, nodding. âAgreed. Though I must say, your dramatic apology was quite entertaining.â
You grinned. âI aim to please.â
And with that, the two of you spent the rest of the evening laughing, eating cake, andâmost importantlyâmaking up. The argument was forgotten, and all that remained was the warmth of knowing that, no matter what, you and Jade would always find your way back to each other.
Kalim Al-Asim
It was completely out of character for you and Kalim to fight. Kalim Al-Asimâthe boy with the heart as bright as a thousand sunsâwasnât exactly the type to harbor negativity. Arguments just didnât happen between the two of you. Heâd smile, laugh it off, and find some extravagant way to make peace, usually involving some form of spontaneous celebration or showering you with gifts.
But this time, something had gone awry. The fight had left a sour taste in your mouth, and, even more surprising, you had given him the silent treatment for days.
Days! As if that was even possible. Kalim had tried to make things right, sending you lavish gifts, offering up trips to the oasis, and practically begging with those big, shimmering eyes. But you had stood firm, giving him the cold shoulder. It wasnât until now, while pacing your room, that you realized just how ridiculous it all was.
Kalim wasnât a bad guy. He wasnât even remotely deserving of being treated this way. Life was too short, and giving Kalim the silent treatment was like trying to dim the sun itself. It was painful, unnatural, and only left the world a little darker.
You had to apologize. But you couldnât just say sorry. Not for Kalim. No, you had to do something that would reach deep into his soul, something that screamed, âI am sorry for being a fool and depriving you of my radiant presence!ââin true Kalim fashion.
The door to Scarabia swung open with a flourish, and you marched in, carrying your âapologyâ in the most dramatic, over-the-top way possible. In your arms was a golden tray, laden with every dessert known to man.
Sweets from the farthest reaches of the desert, cakes stacked like miniature mountains, and the crown jewel: a massive tower of Baklava, glistening with honey and topped with an edible diamond (you might have gone a little overboard).
Kalim was sitting by the fountain in the common room, looking forlorn. But when he saw you approaching with this ridiculous confectionary masterpiece, his face lit up like a firework display. "Whaâ? Whatâs all this?!" he asked, scrambling to his feet.
You set the tray down with a flourish, sweeping an arm dramatically over the display. âKalim Al-Asim! I come bearing a humble offering. It may not be enough to express the depths of my regret, but I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me!â
Kalimâs face softened immediately, the ghost of a grin pulling at his lips. "Aww, you didnât have to do all this! I was just about to apologize to you, I swear!"
You shook your head dramatically, pretending to wipe a tear. âNo, Kalim! Iâve been a fool! Life without your smile is like the desert without waterâa barren wasteland of misery! Please, let me make it up to you with this absurdly lavish, entirely unnecessary, but very tasty display of affection.â
He burst into laughter, his eyes sparkling with amusement. âOkay, okay, youâre forgiven! You didnât have to go this far!â He gave you a playful nudge, already eyeing the tower of sweets with a twinkle in his eye.
Naturally, Kalim being Kalim, his first instinct was to throw a party. âThis calls for a celebration!â he exclaimed. âLetâs invite everyone over, get the music going, andâ"
But something was off. His words were as excited as ever, but his smileâhis smile didnât reach his eyes. Normally, Kalim's enthusiasm was infectious, a hurricane of joy sweeping everyone up in its path. But now, there was a dimness to it, like someone had put a filter over the sunshine that was Kalim Al-Asim.
You narrowed your eyes. âWait a second.â You grabbed him by the arm, dragging him toward his room without explanation.
Kalim, too surprised to resist, blinked as you pulled him inside, shutting the door behind you. âWhatâs going on?â he asked, still trying to piece together what was happening.
âSit,â you commanded, pointing to the bed. He sat, confusion still written all over his face, and you kneeled beside him, hands resting on his knees. âAlright, spill it.â
âSpill what?â
âYou know what,â you said, voice softening now. âYour smile⌠it wasnât right. Thatâs not your real smile. Whatâs wrong, Kalim?â
He hesitated, looking down at his hands for a moment before sighing. âItâs justâŚâ He trailed off, fiddling with the fabric of his pants. âI donât like it when we fight. And I keep thinking... maybe you deserve someone better. Someone who wonât make you mad in the first place. Someone whoâs smarter, more⌠competent. I always mess up, donât I? And you shouldnât have to deal with that.â
Your heart clenched, and you felt a surge of both love and exasperation well up inside you. How could he think that? Him, of all people? You reached out, grabbing his face in both hands and squishing his cheeks together. âKalim,â you said sternly, âYou listen to me, and you listen good.â
His cheeks were smooshed, making him look utterly ridiculous, but he nodded as best as he could under your grip.
âI donât want someone else. I donât want someone more âcompetentâ or âsmarter.â I want you, Kalim Al-Asim. You, with your big heart, your endless optimism, and your ability to turn every day into a celebration. You mean everything to me, and no amount of silly arguments is going to change that.â
You released his cheeks, and he blinked at you, wide-eyed. âReally?â His voice was muffled and still slightly smooshed.
âReally,â you said, smiling warmly. âYouâre my sunshine, Kalim. Life would be so boring without you.â
Before he could say anything, you leaned in and peppered his face with kissesâon his cheeks, his forehead, his nose, anywhere you could reach. He laughed, the sound bubbling up from deep within him, and you could finally see that brightness returning to his eyes. The real smile. The one that could light up an entire palace.
âOkay, okay! I believe you!â he managed to say between fits of laughter, his arms wrapping around you in a tight hug.
You buried your face in the crook of his neck, breathing in his familiar warmth. âIâm sorry for being petty,â you murmured. âI love you, Kalim.â
His grip tightened around you, and you could feel him smiling against your hair. âI love you too. And hey, no more fighting, okay?â
You nodded against his chest, feeling the weight of the past few days lift off your shoulders. âNo more fighting. And no more throwing parties after apologies, okay? Letâs just⌠enjoy this.â
He chuckled softly. âDeal. But can we still eat the Baklava tower?â
You pulled back, grinning. âObviously.â
With that, the two of you sat there for a while longer, tangled in each otherâs arms, basking in the warmth of reconciliation. And for the first time in days, everything felt right again.
Rook Hunt
You had been giving Rook the silent treatment for far too long now. At first, it was easy to ignore his poetic attempts at reconciliationâhis dramatic speeches and flowers left in odd places (your shoes, under your pillow, even in your lunch). You had to admit, the guy was persistent, but you were stubborn. Stubborn, and maybe a bit petty.
But you missed him.
Which is why, today, youâd decided it was time to apologize. And not just any apology. No, no, no. This was Rook Hunt, the king of extravagance, drama, and all things flamboyant. If you were going to apologize, it had to be big.
You strutted through the hallways with purpose, a plan in place. Rook wouldnât know what hit him.
When you finally found him, he was in the courtyard, gazing wistfully into the distance like some sort of Renaissance painting brought to life. Of course. Typical Rook.
You cleared your throat loudly, enough to get his attention. When his head snapped toward you, his eyes widening, you saw the hopeful glimmer in them. But you didnât let him speakânot yet.
âNo need for words, Rook Hunt,â you announced dramatically, extending one arm out wide and placing a hand over your heart as if you were in a Shakespearean tragedy. âFor today, I come to seek your forgiveness!â
Rook blinked, clearly confused but intrigued. That was your in.
âI have wronged you, my dearest huntsman,â you continued, falling to your knees in a sweeping motion, as if you were collapsing under the weight of your guilt. âI have ignored you, punished you with silence for far too long, and for this, I am truly repentant.â
By now, Rook was staring at you, utterly captivated by your performance, which only encouraged you to go bigger.
âI have been petty, unreasonable, and blind to your affections,â you said, throwing your hands to the sky as if appealing to the heavens themselves. âBut today, I seek redemption! I beg of you, O Rook Hunt, forgive me, for I cannot live another day without hearing your flowery prose, without basking in your eccentric glory!â
Rookâs lips twitched, and he brought a hand to his mouth, clearly trying to hold back a laugh. But you werenât finished.
âTo prove my sincerity, I offer you a token,â you declared, reaching into your pocket and pulling out a single, crumpled daisy. You held it up to him with both hands as if it were a royal gift. âA humble flower, to represent the fragile beauty of our love. Please, accept it.â
Rook stared at the flower, then at you, before finally, he cracked. His laughter spilled out, echoing in the courtyard. He dropped to one knee in front of you, his shoulders shaking with amusement. âMon trĂŠsor, only you could outdo even my own dramatics.â
You gave him a triumphant grin, still holding out the flower. âSo⌠am I forgiven?â
Rookâs eyes softened as he reached out, taking the daisy from your hand as if it were the most precious thing in the world. âForgiven? You were never truly condemned, mon amour.â He leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles, his usual playfulness shining through.
âGood,â you said, relieved. âI was running out of material.â
But just as you were about to stand, Rook moved faster. In a blink, his arms wrapped around you, pulling you into the tightest hug youâd ever experienced. You were practically squished against him, and while you appreciated the affection, it was getting hard to breathe.
âRookâŚ?â you managed to mumble into his shoulder. âI canât⌠breathe.â
But he didnât let go. If anything, he hugged you tighter, burying his face into the crook of your neck. âI thought I had lost you,â he whispered, his voice low and shaky in a way that caught you off guard.
You paused, your heart sinking at the tone in his voice. Slowly, you pulled away, struggling a bit against his grip until you were able to meet his eyes. âRook? Whatâs wrong?â
He sighed, finally loosening his hold just enough to let you move, but he didnât let go entirely. His gaze flickered to the ground for a moment before he finally spoke. âI was afraid,â he admitted, his voice uncharacteristically small. âAfraid that my eccentricity⌠my quirks, my passion for the unusualâhad finally driven you away.â
You blinked in surprise. Rook, of all people, thinking you would get tired of him? The man whose energy practically radiated confidence, who seemed unshakable?
âRookâŚâ You reached up, cupping his face in your hands and forcing him to look at you. âI love your quirks. I love how weird and dramatic and over-the-top you are. Itâs what makes you you.â You leaned in, planting a kiss on his cheek. âAnd I wouldnât change a single thing.â
His eyes widened, but you didnât stop there. You kissed the other cheek, then his forehead, peppering his face with kisses until he started laughing softly under the onslaught.
âIâm sorry,â you whispered between kisses. âI was being petty, and I took it too far. I never wanted to hurt you like that.â
Rook shook his head slightly, but he didnât pull away from your affection. âYou have no need to apologize, mon cĹur. I just⌠I couldnât bear the thought of losing your light.â
You pressed a soft kiss to his lips, lingering just long enough to make your point clear. âYouâll never lose me,â you said firmly, your forehead resting against his. âNot for being who you are. I love you, Rook. Every part of you.â
A soft smile spread across his lips as he leaned into you, his arms wrapping around you once moreâthough much gentler this time. âJe tâaime,â he murmured, his voice full of warmth. âMore than words can express.â
You grinned, pulling back just enough to kiss the tip of his nose. âI love you too, you dramatic dork.â
He chuckled, holding you close, and for a long moment, the two of you just stood there, wrapped in each otherâs arms, sharing quiet kisses and soft words.
It was, in its own way, the most perfect apology you couldâve ever given.
Lilia Vanrouge:
It had been days since the argument. Days! And you could practically feel your willpower disintegrating with every second that passed.
It was completely out of character for you and Lilia to fight. Normally, Liliaâs mischievous grin could melt away any tension between the two of you, but this time, something had gone awry. The disagreement wasnât even over anything important, but you both had dug your heels in out of sheer stubbornness. Now, the silence stretched on like a never-ending opera that had lost its charm halfway through Act 2.
You were on the verge of cracking. If there was one thing you couldnât handle, it was seeing Lilia go a whole day without teasing you or giving one of his random, nonsensical life lessons. And now? There was just silence. Deafening silence.
Even worse, Malleus had started giving you the look. You knew the one: his trademark âkicked puppyâ expression, like you had personally thrown a thunderstorm over his parade. Every time you walked by, his wide, draconic eyes would lock onto yours, as if begging for you to fix things with Lilia.
The final straw came one evening, after Malleus lpoked at you like you had just told him all the gargoyles were being demolished.
That was it. You couldn't take it anymore.
Lilia was sitting in the Diasomnia common room, reading some old tome, looking as composed as ever. But you knew him better than that. His usual mischievous sparkle was missing, replaced by an uncharacteristic somberness.
You needed to apologize, but it couldnât just be any apology. No, this was Lilia Vanrouge. You had to match his energy with something equally as ridiculous and dramatic.
So, you walked into the room, threw yourself onto the ground, and sprawled out like a dramatic character in an ancient tragedy, arms spread wide, face contorted in over-the-top despair. "LILIA!" you wailed, your voice echoing off the stone walls. "I cannot bear it any longer! The weight of my guilt crushes me like a boulder atop my fragile soul! Forgive me, or I shall wither away into nothingness, a mere shadow of the person I once was!"
Lilia looked up from his book, eyes widening slightly at the sheer spectacle of your apology. You threw an arm over your face, dramatically flopping onto your side, as though consumed by your own sorrow.
"If you cannot find it in your heart to forgive me," you continued, "then I shall simply expire here and now! Right here, in the common room! My ghost will haunt these halls forever, wailing tragically, and Malleus will be even sadder than before!"
Lilia finally broke into a grin, setting his book down and crossing his arms, clearly amused. "Oh, dearest, you really are laying it on thick, arenât you?"
"Iâm serious!" you declared, sitting up with dramatic flair. "Look at meâthis is the face of someone whoâs very sorry! And if I have to do more, then I will escalate! I will serenade you in the courtyard! Or... or bake you something!" You paused. "Actually, no. I wouldn't subject you to my cooking. But something dramatic will happen!"
Lilia let out a laugh, the tension that had hung between you two finally dissipating with his amusement. "Alright, alright. I believe you." He stood, walking over to where you were still sprawled out on the floor like some sort of tragedy-stricken poet. "You are forgiven."
You blinked up at him, suddenly feeling a rush of relief. You stood, brushing yourself off and giving him a lopsided grin. "Thanks, Lilia. I missed you."
But just as you were about to revert back to normal, Lilia's expression shiftedâhis amusement fading into something softer, something deeper. His hands, usually light and playful, gently gripped your arms as he looked at you with an intensity that made your heart ache.
âThough,â he began, his voice uncharacteristically quiet, âthereâs something I need to say.â
You blinked, tilting your head as he continued. "Your recklessness... it scares me sometimes," he admitted, his playful tone gone, replaced with genuine vulnerability. "Iâve seen too much, lost too much over the years. And I worry. I worry that one day, youâll be the one I lose. And I canât... I canât stand the thought of that.â
You opened your mouth to respond, but he kept going, his grip tightening slightly. âIâve lived for so long, but youâyouâre the brightness in this endless existence. I never thought Iâd find someone like you. And now that I have, the thought of you being the one that got awayââ He shook his head, his voice faltering. âIt terrifies me. So Iâm begging you⌠stay. Stay with me. Forever.â
Your heart clenched at his words. It was rare for Lilia to be this open, this raw. He always wore his playful mask, but right now, that mask had completely fallen away, leaving only the ancient fae who had seen too much and was so afraid of losing more.
Without thinking, you surged forward and wrapped your arms around him, hugging him tightly. "Iâm not going anywhere, Lilia," you whispered into his shoulder, squeezing him as hard as you could. "I promise. As long as youâll have me, Iâm staying."
He clung to you, his small frame surprisingly strong as he hugged you back, as though afraid that if he let go, you might disappear. You could feel his breath hitch, and you pulled back just enough to look at him, your heart breaking at the sight of the unshed tears in his eyes.
Gently, you leaned in and began peppering his face with soft kissesâon his cheeks, his closed eyelids, his lips. âI love you more than words can express, Lilia Vanrouge,â you murmured between kisses. âIâm sorry for being petty, for making you worry. Iâm staying. Forever.â
Lilia smiled through his tears, leaning into your affection, his fingers gently brushing your hair as he held you close. âYouâre far too good to me,â he whispered, his voice a little shaky. âThank you.â
You hugged him tightly again, resting your head against his shoulder, and for a long moment, the two of you simply stood there, wrapped in each otherâs arms. The fight seemed so far away now, the pettiness and stubbornness replaced with a warmth that filled you both from the inside out.
After a while, Lilia pulled back just enough to look at you, his usual mischievous grin finally returning to his face. âThough, I have to admit, your dramatic apology was rather impressive. I might have to start a new trend of grandiose reconciliations.â
You laughed, feeling lighter than you had in days. âDonât get any ideas. I donât think I could top that performance.â
âOh, donât worry,â Lilia teased, pulling you in for another kiss. âIâll handle the dramatics from now on.â
And with that, you melted into his arms once again, the fight nothing but a distant memory as you basked in the warmth of each otherâs love.

Hiii! I saw that ur requests are open so may I request an Umemiya x f!reader where Umemiya saves her from a gang that tried to invade the town, maybe she has a few cuts and bruises cause the gang already yk hit her and stuff then when Ume saved her he removed his uniform coat thing and puts it around her and carried her princess style to a safe area (maybe his house or her house or anywhere safe is fine)
Sorry if this is too specific⌠Iâve been so hooked to Wind Breaker that I read the manga too⌠and if you canât tell my fave character is UmemiyađĽšđĽ° heâs just a sweetheart toođ
âËĘ đą his little one (hajime umemiya x reader)â§ďžđż
âż contains: fluff, comfort, soft and loving ume having the biggest crush on you, angry feral ume when see saw you got hurt - this man can do both lol âż a/n: aaaa umemiya is such a sweetie! i totally get why you love him, and the way he'd show you his love for you would be through protecting you with his life! i put my own little twist on it~ hope that's fine with you, cutie (ŕš'áľ'ŕš)â¸* have fun reading, thank you for this lovely request! âż wc: 850
you were hajime umemiya's beloved little plant shop darling, his favorite part of the town. he frequented your store whenever he needed new and fresh seeds, a chat and exchange of plant care tips here and there, and of course because he wanted to see you.Â
umemiya fell in love with you at first sight, and he'd been courting you for a while now. how could he not, you were just the kindest and sweetest little dewdrop that ever existed. he swore he would do anything and everything in his power to keep you safe.Â
"little one, look what i brought! i hope you're not allergic to flowe-" he pauses in his tracks, horrified to see your beloved plant store messy and ruined, plants and soil strewn everywhere, with scattered broken pieces of glass.
umemiya was fuming with anger. his smile quickly disappeared as he hurriedly went to find you.Â
there you were, sitting helplessly on the ground, sobbing. it shattered his heart into a million pieces to see you this way. "what happened?" speaking to you in a soft voice, he caressed your cheek with his fingers, wiping away the strewn tears on your face with his thumb. "who did this to you, little one?" he inspected the cuts and bruises from your arm when you tried to defend yourself and your plants from being destroyed, but to no avail.Â
the culprit was a street gang, one that attempted to cause war with furin. they heard from their sources that you were umemiya's special little seedling, one of the most important people in the world to him, and so they infiltrated the town to mess with him, messing with you being a part of their nasty plan.
little did they know, that was the biggest mistake of their lives.Â
umemiya had his speculations and saw some men running away, looking like they were attempting escape. he sprinted towards them in lightning speed, his feral instinct to protect you overtaking him, repeatedly hitting and stepping on the guys, bashing their skulls in with his knee.Â
"do you have any idea how much care and effort she puts into taking care of her shop and her plants?! you destroyed her dream." umemiya showed no signs of stopping, fists clashing against the guy's face. "what are you going to do about it now, huh? you made her cry, her beautiful smile is gone!" umemiya had never lost his composure like this. the thought of you getting hurt ruined him. he couldn't bear it.Â
luckily, hiragi and his team came running to umemiya, stopping him from possibly killing the gang members, and told him they'll take it from there, and that he should go check on you.Â
umemiya rushes back to your store and cradles you in his arms, comforting you and telling you that everything was going to be okay. you sobbed as he held you, umemiya taking off his furin coat and putting it around your shoulders. "i'm sorry, little one. i'm sorry that i couldn't protect what's important to you...but i'm glad i could at least protect what's important to me." he presses a kiss to your forehead.Â
"ume...did you get hurt anywhere?" you looked up at him with puppy eyes, it worried you to see that his knuckles were all scratched up from defending your honor.Â
"no worries! i'm fine, but you must be so scared, little one. there, there." he smoothens your hair with his hand and embraces you. "i'll come everyday and help you revive the shop, okay? i'm here now. i won't let anything bad happen to you anymore." he says to you.Â
"come now, let's get your wounds treated." umemiya scoops you up in his arms, as if you were as light as a feather. "speaking of treat...how about i also treat you to the world's most delicious omurice? maybe it'll put back that smile on your face." you nodded in agreement, umemiya carrying you all the way to pothos elicited some giggles and whistles from onlookers around the town who thought that you two were the cutest. umemiya was definitely not afraid to show everyone his affection for you, and your eyes were only on him too, your knight in shining armor.
and that's how you and umemiya found love amidst the chaos.  Â
ę¤ bonus ę¤
"oh, by the way, they're a little squished but, here!" he hands you the forgotten flowers, as you let out a giggle. he tucks a piece of your hair behind your ear, thinking to himself for the millionth time how beautiful your smile is. "i hope you like it, little one!"
"ume, i've been meaning to ask...why do you call me 'little one'?" you inquired, placing the flowers on your lap gently, while you took a spoonful of omurice that you shared with umemiya at the pothos cafĂŠ, you two looking like little lovebirds only sharing one plate of food.Â
"hmm, because you're so little compared to me, and you're my one and only." he smiled happily as your cheeks slowly turned as red as his tomato plant.

AO3 link (better rewritten version of this fic on ao3)
pairing: Arthur Morgan x f!reader
content: suggestive, angst, hurt/no comfort (for now) probs grammar errors srryy
wc: 2k
a/n: hear me out, I thought about writing a jealous!reader oneshot with Arthur but,, I got a bit carried away and so many ideas came into my mind so I was thinking about making this a mini series with a pt.2. Let me know if youâd be interested in a pt.2 <33 (gif from pinterest)
Nothing was more relaxing to you than fixing some of Arthurâs shirts and pants while sitting outside your shared tent.
Seated on a small cushion placed on the ground with your back against one of Arthurâs chests your hands worked delicate but precise movements mending the cotton of his favorite black shirt. The rays of light sparkling from the east coast of the flat iron lake at Clemens Point casting a golden halo around you and the usual buzzing of camp making you feel at ease, letting you loose yourself in your thoughts.
During these moments your mind often drifted to thoughts about you and Arthur, the way he would make you feel all warm inside like a young naive teenager with just his soft glances and loving touches, how he would make you dream some of the craziest things for a couple of outlaws like yourselves like having a proper family with him, getting proper married before god and maybe even owning your very own ranch at some point.
Your dreamy stream of thoughts was soon interrupted as Mary Bethâs light footsteps on the dry grass could be heard coming towards your direction, with a strange expression you couldnât quite decipher on her face and a small letter in her hands. As she saw you sitting down near yours and Arthurâs tent her fair features twisted into an anxious manner, her expression resembling the one of someone who just ate a whole lemon in one go, her steps faltering almost imperceptibly before continuing her path towards your shared tent.
âHiya Miss,â she said in a chirpy tone, her voice higher than usual as she stopped in front of you, her eyes looking around avoiding your confused gaze as she played with the paper edge of the letter in her delicate hands.
âArthur hasnât come back yet ?â Strange. Her voice cracked a little at the end. She quickly cleared her throat with a small smile. Mary Beth's usual cordial and friendly façade cracked the more she was near you, letting you see her unusual unease.
ââM afraid not, he said he was going into town for some âdeputy thingâ with the Grays, why ? Did something happen ?â you replied imitating Arthurâs low voice and accent as you put down his shirt which was now fixed and your sewing kit. At your failed attempt at imitating his accent Mary Beth let out a small laugh, covering her smile with her free hand, relaxing just a tiny bit before regaining her previous composure.
Smoothing out the white envelope in her hands she handed it over to you, as you took it you couldnât help but notice the senderâs name written in what you called a âfancy cursiveâ. You werenât exactly good at reading or writing but the fancy ink swirls made out a familiar name.
The sender was Mary Linton.
âItâs for Arthur, it arrived this morning,â she told you looking at you with something in her eyes you couldnât quite make out. Was it a shared distaste for the woman in question or was it perhaps pity toward you what you could see reflected in her eyes ?
You werenât a stranger to who Mary Linton was, having joined the gang when you were eighteen and Arthur fresh of twenty-six you knew who Mary was, how she was Arthurâs first love, the woman he almost married if it wasnât for her strict father not approving his lifestyle. The woman who completely shattered his heart.
You knew that after his breakup with Mary he was distraught, drinking and sleeping around almost every night before eventually getting one of the girls he slept with pregnant with his son Isaac. How he, from time to time, went to Elizaâs cabin and visited them, never failing to bring sweets and shiny toys for his Isaac who met him with a toothy little smile every time Arthur visited them until one day the only thing Arthur was met was an empty robbed cabin and Elizaâs lifeless body hugging Isaacâs one.
For almost a year you helplessly witnessed Arthur, the gangâs main enforcer, spiraling more and more into a toxic lifestyle. He began to drink more, often found sitting near the campfire drunk every night, his actions during jobs sloppy and reckless not sparing a single ounce of mercy for whoever dared to wrong him. His mood around camp bringing everyone down until one day you decided you had enough.
He had just come back from a job went wrong with Hosea, the older man's sour mood perceptible from miles away as he hitched his horse and quickly walked away to his tent, leaving Arthur behind talking pretty much to himself how it wasnât his fault and he didnât do anything wrong, the pungent scent of alcohol surrounding the space around him. Seeing the scene in front of you you quickly put down your cleaning rag and marched towards him giving him a loud earful in front of everyone in camp not caring that he was a 6â1 massive killing machine of an outlaw and eight years older than you and that you were the last addition to camp making you a nobody in the eyes of what was basically Dutchâs golden child. You simply had enough.
From that moment onwards Arthur started to get better, letting go of his usual whisky bottle and surprisingly starting to pay attention to you rather than avoiding or despising you, eyeing you with respect each time you expressed your opinion around camp, coming to your tent almost every night for advice or just to talk about life opening up to you about his family and past love building day by day an unexpected friendship which blossomed years later into your current relationship.
Seeing her name now again after so many years left you with a sour taste in your mouth.
You took the letter and placed it on Arthurâs nightstand as you thanked Mary Beth and began to tidy up your things.
The sky was beginning to lose its rosy color making space for a deep blue when Arthur came back, the gallop of his and Dutch horses announcing their arrival into camp.
You were chatting with Karen and Javier at the round table near the fire when you felt his hand on your shoulder, the scent of wood and gunpowder filling your nose letting you relax under his soft touch. He bent down to quickly kiss your cheek, a small show of pda which left you all warm inside, almost letting you forget about the letter. Almost.
âHello sweetheart,â he said in his usual low tone near your ear, a shiver traveling down your spine at his vicinity a soft blush making its way into your cheeks.
âMiss Jones, Javierâ he greeted your company before taking your hand in his calloused one letting you up from your seat and guiding you towards his tent leaving Karen and Javier sharing knowing glances between them.
As soon as you walked into your shared tent he made quick work of closing the flap before taking your face in his hands and kissing you. His soft kisses soon turned into hungry ones as his right hand left your soft cheek to trace down your neck then your collarbones before settling on your hips using your hips to guide you to lay on the bed.
âmissed ya a lot today sweetheart,â he breathed on your neck as he positioned himself on top of you before kissing your sensitive spot, your eyes closed as your soft hands traveled onto his hair, tugging at his dirty blonde strands.
âgot you in my mind the whole day, damn near made Dutch real name slip in front of them Grays. Jusâ couldnât help but think âbout your pretty face.â he continued to kiss your sensitive skin, his words and his lips working like magic on you. His hands exploring your body inch by inch toying with the buttons of your white shirt.
As you open your eyes to look at Arthur you couldnât help but remember the envelope sitting on his bedside table.
âArthur,â you sighed trying to keep your voice stable but failing miserably as his teeth playfully bit your neck. The pleasure and the warmth of his body on top of yours was heavenly making you melt like butter under his touch but you were too curious to see what was in that letter to continue, your hands came on his shoulders to try and get the man off of you. âdarling you, fuck, youâve got a letter.â
As soon as you finished your sentence Arthur stopped his actions at once, his hands dropping on the soft mattress before getting up into a seated position beside you. He sighed as he ran his hands into his hair before taking the letter, his eyes quickly scanning the senderâs name before opening the envelope.
As his eyes read the elegant handwritten letter of Mary you couldnât help but feel your heart beat out of your chest with anticipation, you knew it was stupid to feel this way but you couldnât help but worry. Why is she mailing him after all these years of radio silence ? What did she want from him and how exactly did she know how to contact him ?
Deciding it was best to feign ignorance than to straight up get defensive and be viewed as possessive with Arthur you scooted closer to him, your head resting on his shoulder as you asked, trying your best to keep your façade, from who was the letter.
âMh, nobody jusâ a sorry fellow I met.â
Your heart sank.
He lied to you. He lied to you without even an ounce of hesitation. A small âOhâ left your lips as you didnât know exactly how to respond, mind racing with many thoughts, the knowledge of his lie felt like an iced bucket of water was thrown at you, freezing you in your spot unable to move. A sense of nausea overtaking your body.
With a swift movement, he folded the letter and put it in the bottom drawer of the nightstand where other papers filled the small space. Turning back to face you he put one of his large hands on your cheeks caressing you with a delicacy that in that moment only made you further nauseous about the situation. His lips met your forehead, then your nose descending further down to your lips, too caught up in your thoughts you sat there unmoving. Arthur sensed your unusual attitude.
âyâalright sweetheart ?â he asked, you internally scoffed at his seemingly concerned expression. The nerve he had to be asking you that after he blatantly lied to your face.
âyeah just tired thatâs all.â you dismissed him shifting on the bed and laying down on your side of the bed. You needed space to think, your mind going haywire. Was this the first time she mailed him ? Why was that as soon as you mentioned a letter he seemed to already know it was from her ? Why did Mary Beth act so strange when giving you the letter ? Why did he lie ? Why.
You wished you could let this go, forget about everything and melt back into his warm embrace, but you couldnât. You had to find out what was going on.
Later that night when the outlaw was fast asleep beside you and the only sounds that could be heard were his soft snores that filled the space in your tent you found out that the other papers in the drawer were not random papers.
The drawer was full of Maryâs letters.

gojo satoru, the six eye user prodigy, strongest sorcerer..
and huge baby.
âutahime, please tell that blindfolded idiot to get off of the floor,â yaga grunts, rubbing his temple before another headache reveals itself.
the scarred girl deadpans, turning her head to glare at the man collapsed on the floor.
the room might as well be flooding due to his fat streams of crocodile tears.
âgojo, whatâs the problem this time?â she sighs, watching as the 6 ft manchild stands shakily.
he huffs a sharp breath and shudders, âmy wife has been separated from me yet again.â
utahime feels a vein pop when he tilts his head back to suppress more tears from flowing.
yaga clears his throat, âl/n merely excused herself not even 10 minutes ago. what kind of shenanigans are you up to as sheâs away?â
gojo gasps, âme? shenanigans? how cruel of you to assume, principal!â
with a hand on his heart, he frantically shakes his head, âcanât i not be a husband missing the embrace of my amazing, beautiful and talented wife?â
utahime shakes her head, âhonestly, how does l/n live her life married to an immature brat like you.â she huffs, watching the first years and some of the second years enter the room.
âi agree! l/n needs more credit,â the young brunette nods her head, arms on her waist.
he hears yuji chuckle sheepishly, âsorry sensei, i have to agree with her on this one.â
âitâs hard enough for me to be around you most of the time, how does she do it nearly everyday?â maki interjects as she looks the man up and down judgementally.
âsalmon.â
with a look of horror, he looks at megumi, hoping he would defend him and his pride. all hope shatters when he sees the sea urchin merely shrugging his shoulders with a small smirk tugging on his lips.
gojo crumples back to the floor, all colour drained from his face as his students and their friends gang up on him.
the door slides open and you enter the room, looking confused at the sight before you.
the first years are laughing at your white haired husband, whoâs on the floor shaking and holding his head in his hands. âwhatâs going o-â you start before getting pounced on.
âwifey! im so glad youâre here!â gojo hugs you tightly, completely smothering your smaller figure in his large frame.
âl/n, blink twice if you need help!â nobara suggests, giggling with maki and yuji while the man suffocating you lets out a whine.
you stifle a chuckle, looking at gojo whoâs slowly sliding down, knees back on the floor as he tightens his arms around your waist.
you pat the mess of white tufts. ââtoru, are you okay?â you trail off, slightly moving away from his approaching face to avoid getting drenched in his crocodile tears.
âno! iâm being bullied by people half and twice my age!â he pouts through your shirt. he turns his head to shoot everyone else in the room dirty looks through the cloth covering his eyes.
âhaters!â
you blink, looking at him with an unreadable expression.
âthis is the worldâs strongest sorcerer?â
âARENâT YOU SUPPOSED TO BE ON MY SIDE?â
i finally watched jjk đź sorry if some characters might seem a lil ooc, i only just finished the first season! i wrote this at 2am when i couldnât sleep so if u guys have any feedback, lmk and iâll try to rectify this đ

Part One
Golden Pt. 2
It's been a few days since you last saw the pair, and maybe you're okay with that. Nights have been quiet yet cold, and you're getting excited about the temperature change that comes with spring.
Night patrols have been close to uneventful; save a kid or two there, maul a criminal of two here- the usual, in other words.
You're expecting the usual again tonight, just quiet patrolling and nothing extreme-
Look, you haven't been here for long, okay? Optimism, got it?
You're on the prowl for a missing girl, one that the bats no doubt have on their radar too, but you never know- you might get to her first. You went to the apartment where she lives and are confident that you could pinpoint her on her scent alone.
It's been an hour or two since you started looking and finally, you catch a whiff of the little girl's scent. You draw closer to an abandoned building, sneaking through structures to hide from the unforgiving street lights that flicker, forgotten by the city.
You jump onto a dumpster and into a broken window above it, landing quietly on the dusty floorboards. You can hear crying and the little girl's scent gets stronger.
Someone snaps at her as you draw closer, creeping up the stairs to the second floor. Thankful that the floor doesn't creak, you continue through the corridor of apartments, the number of each room fading from their painted places upon doors.
The screaming gets louder until you stop at a door, slightly ajar. You nudge it open with your nose and- you've luck- it's silent too.
"Shut the fuck up, dammit, you'll-"
The man doesn't get much more out of his mouth before you pounce, toppling both of you to the floor. Your fangs lock around his wrist, making him cry out in pain as you reach for the gun in his hand and throw it to the farthest corner of the room.
"Get-"
You snarl, pushing a set of sharp claws into the top of his spine. He yells curses that one should not around a child.
The window shatters beside you and two figures gracefully land in the room, one larger and one smaller by the sound of the thuds. You turn your head to glare, teeth bared and gleaming before you realise it's Robin and Batman- the duo one only fears if they're a criminal in the light of justice.
The man continues screaming, but not after giving one threatening snarl, deeper than any other you ever have.
"Leave the rest of this to us," Robin says calmly, and you're certain you like him more than the brooding knight in the corner near the gun.
He's allergic to those things anyway, so it's not like you're worried.
You step off the man's back and slowly approach the girl. She scrambles back and you remember you have blood still on your fangs. Still, you lower your head and attempt to look as harmless as a big cat can.
You can't grin when she reaches out to pet your head in case she sees your bloodied teeth. Once she realises you won't do her any harm, she scratches your neck and ears. Purring, you nudge her gently and lower yourself to the floor.
She's small enough to climb onto your back without it being too much of a struggle to stand and walk- she must be only five. She giggles, eyes red with tears, but she finds comfort in the warmth of your fur.
"GCPD has been called," the Bat says, glaring down at the criminal. You and Robin do the same. "Would you like us to take the girl to a hospital?"
You raise your head to look at him and flash your fangs, a solid 'no'.
"Whatever you think is best," Robin says, the Bat looking at him with a stare only a father could give to his son. "But wait, before you go-"
Robin smooths the short furs of your head and scratches underneath your ear. It takes you by surprise at first, but you don't snarl or bare your fangs at him, so he continues until he feels as though his father's glare has gone on long enough. "I told my siblings I'd pat you first. It's a bet, the only one I have participated in so far-" Batman snorts- "And I have won. As expected, I have succeeded."
You make a sound of amusement.
"Perhaps we shall work together again," the older of the two says. You huff, knowing you did all of this yourself, but nod anyway.
Perhaps it's time to make some friends -ones that aren't drowning in coffee and assignments, anyway.

book 7 part 8 thoughts!!
***THIS POST CONTAINS MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR BOOK 7 PART 8 OF THE MAIN STORY!!*** Please note: this is NOT meant to be a summary or a translation; these are only my initial thoughts on the events that roughly unfold. There may be details overlooked or misunderstood in this post, so PLEASE do not use this as a translation.
Right off the bat, we're starting off strong with a video presentation from Idia!! He uses many MMORPG terms and analogies to better explain his concepts, even referring to allies as "party members".
The video is ~3 minutes long and the artwork used are Takashi Mifune-senseiâs LINE stickers. Yana says she is particular about functionality like Idia is, so she is pleased that they were able to implement this video. âPlease watch Idiaâs debut as. YouTuber!â
AGKVTIUOD8VQFVE IDIA SHROUD ASKS US TO LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE IF WE LIKED HIS PRESENTATION....... . . .. ...... .. . . . . .. . . . . I'LL GIVE IT TO YOU, IDIA... You popped off on the editing fr...
Idia tells us that there the population of Sageâs Island is roughly 20,000!
He basically explains his plan to defeat Malleus. Idia's going to fuck around with stuff in his own dream to make cheat codes to debuff Malleus (ie remove his invincibility). The others shall distract Malleus so he doesnât catch onto what Idia is up to. Yuu, Grim, Sebek, Silver, and Ortho will infiltrate the dream worlds of classmates, "wake" them, and then recruit them to their cause. They will then lure Malleus into Idia's dream, at which point all the recruited students will JUMP HIM 𤥠Truly, the power of friendship but the NRC wayâŚ
Idia grants everyone the ability to DREAM FORM CHANGE!! By saying that phrase, it opens up a menu where you can magically change your outfit in an instant. The NRC boys are becoming magical girls⌠â¨
akjlfabidfbefeqof Grim has fun changing into his various Anniversary outfits! Ceremonial Robes, Labwear, Apprentice Chef...!
Silver and co. hop into Epel's dream! (Idia keeps in touch with everyone via his tablet while he stays behind in his own dream.)
Everyone at NRC seems to speak in the same Harveston dialect as Epel. And, well... here's apple boy...
IS THAT EPELâS HEAD ON JACkâS BODY????????!!!!!?!?!?!!!?!?
THIS IS LITERALLY THE BUFF NATSUKI DDLC MEME đ I MEAN I WAS KINDA EXPECTING THIS BUTNIT FLOOKS SO FURGINGNGGGF GS CURSED
Anyway, the group just casually walks up to Epel and tells him everything is a lie??? And when Epel's world starts to go all wibbly wobbly, a dream!Rook and dream!Vil show up to praise him. Rook says he has heard rumors that Savanaclaw wants to recruit Epel for their own dorm, while Vil praises Epel as being both strong and beautiful, a perfect fit for Pomefiore.
I like that the implication is that while Epel still has a desire to be in a "tough" dorm like Savanaclaw, this dialogue seems to also say that he now also finds value in Pomefiore. This is why dream!Rook and Vil are tugging Epel in opposite directions; his soul must like BOTH options. Further proof is that Epel is still a Pomefiore student in his dream, he is not in Savanaclaw. To keep him under the sleep, the dream is trying hard to appeal to both sides of Epel's wishes.
So we battle the fake Rook and Vil!! Then Epel's memories come flooding back to him; the cracking glass effect is so pretty and calls into mind a mirror shattering as Epel gains his lucidity.
(Rook and Vil get similar "glass breaking" scenes upon waking, so I'm only going to comment on Epel's here and leave it at that!)
Cut to black to explain the situation to Epel!
Ortho invites Epel to join their "party" in Idia's dream! Then I believe he uses Epel's dream data to project a hologram of buff!Epel to remain in the dream while Epel joins the gang to hop into the next dream.
Next up is Rook's dream, and--
YUP, THAT'S A YEEHAWING ROOK HUNT IF I'VE EVER SEEN ONE đ I thought for sure his in-game 2D model would have larger arms (like, at LEAST Leona-sized arms, if not Jack-sized)... I guess not though, because we cannot have nice things/j
I love the extra detail of the leaves being stuck in the brim of his hat!! dfhlbafbiapia and bro just walks around with a quiver of arrows and a bow strapped to his back at all times...
ahbfg8yoadf9pbaegpb ROOK JUST DROPEPD A FUCKING BOMBSHELL ON US???????? Apparently Vil is a student at RSA and is besties with Neige???????????? BRO'S HEAD IS FR WRITING OUT FANFIC ABOUT HIS TWO MOST BELOVED IDOLS HOLDING HANDS AND GIGGLING TOGETHER
Uhhhh long story short, Rook runs off to his room and we chase him. What we find is--
YEAH THIS IS ROOK'S ROOM??????? It's probably what is depicted in his Savanaclaw Dorm Uniform SSR too. Note the split bed and the completely different carpets in the SSR artwork.
AEBFYVQEVYOFBQB THE WAY THE ROOM IS PERFECTLY SPLIT DOWN THE CENTER AND IS JUST STACKED WITH MERCH (including Tsum Neiges and Vils????????!????!?!?!?!?!??!!!!)
Rook starts to chuckle menacingly and pops off about his hyperfixations to us???? Then he wrangles us all to sit down and watch DVDs with him for the next *checks notes* 5 HOURS?????? AM I READING THIS CORRECTLY????? Rook... HONEY... THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO END, WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO THIS...
We keep trying to talk to Rook, but he isn't quite waking up yet. So we have an aside with the gang and Epel suggests... RECREATING OUR VDC PERFORMANCE??????? ? ?? ????? He shows Silver, Sebek, Grim, and Ortho the dance moves and the show goes on!
Rook is lured to the VDC stage and we get a new Absolutely Beautiful rhythmic with our current squad! Unfortunately, the vocals are the same as book 5, so we do not get a new variation with Epel, Sebek, Silver, Ortho, and Grim singing.
I love Love LOOOOVE that Epel is the center here!! He took the initiative to suggest the idea as well as teach everyone, and now he's REALLY walking the talk by serving as the "leader" of the group.
Watching the NRC Tribe makes Rook's head hurt and he starts to remember...!!
Well, wouldja look at that... Here comes dream!Neige and RSA!Vil to distract Rook. They say they are inspired by the NRC performance and start to perform Everyone Yahoo! This entrances Rook, making our task of "waking" him all the more difficult.
aihfboyfpie LMAO THEY'RE SO DRAMATIC?????? Vil steps up to defend Neige, and Neige is all like, "Nooo, Vii-kun! If anything were to happen to you, I'd be crushed by sadness :((" ROOK... IS THIS WHAT YOUR MIND COMES UP WITH...
Rook points an arrow at them and cries about how he betrayed Epel... (AYO LIKE THE HUNTSMAN????) and now he has to destroy Vil and Neige, who are "proof" of his betrayal. It makes him cry even more because he can't think of harming them, even if it's just a dream...
Anyway, time to pummel the sparkly duo! You can see from the battle sprites that RSA students seem to use REAL ASS SWORDS to channel their magic instead of magical pens. Man... Imagine being handed a writing utensil and then glancing over at the next guy and seeing them holding an ACTUAL WEAPON.
If you look closely, you can tell that Neige and Vil's pommels, grips, and rain guards are slightly different. Apparently, every RSA student has a unique one? WOW, I feel like NRC got ripped off then??? Cuz only the dorm leaders get unique items or staves to channel their magic and everyone else has the same standard issue magical pen but with a different magestone color. The only exception to this for the average student seem to be Diasomnia kids, who have baton style magical pens in their dorm uniforms.
Rook fully awakens and we rinse and repeat what we did with Epel (cut to black to explain things to him, make a hologram Rook to leave behind, and invite him to join us).
The last part of the update has us venturing into Vil's dream.
OMG, WE'RE IN FAIREST CITY??? AT QUEEN'S FILM STUDIO???? We just visited this place in a recent event! What perfect timing... I see you, clever TWST devs!
I swear that Vil's outfits are getting worse with each new one I see him in, but that's probably just my fashion sensibilities clashing with his đŚ I thought from the initial silhouette that we would be getting a slightly older Vil to show us how his values have changed since book 6, in which Vil declares he is always beautiful no matter what. Him being older would truly drive that point home; I feel this was a missed opportunity but maybe it wasnât possible because these dreams donât seem to be taking place in the âfutureâ but mostly center on the present or past? Something, something, magic limited to what can be imagined and maybe the magic canât reach that far âaheadâ?
aefyeyovfyvqvf HIS NEW HAIRSTYLE KINDA LOOKS LIKE CROWLEY'S, DOESN'T IT...
Here, Vil seems to be highly popular + considered fairest of them all. Additionally, a certain SOMEONE has been relegated to being his mere assistant (and uh, Vil is somewhat demanding of them):
VIL... THIS ISN'T HELPING YOU BEAT THE MEAN GIRL ALLEGATIONS, SWEETIE...
On a more serious note, I think this raises an interesting point about Vilâs character. Try as he might to get over his envy of Neige, itâs clearly still something so deep-rooted in Vil, right up to the end of booo 5. Now this element also permeates in his dream world. Neige âhasâ to be demoted in so Vil can stand on topâbut is that really âfairâ to Neige?? Is it truly Vilâs jealousy that informs the dream of this, and thus the dream is spinning this shallow, easy victory for Vilâs satisfaction??? Because the noble Vil I know of in book 5 wouldnât consider this a real âwinâ. Very fascinating topic to ponder!
Vil has Neige toss us out, which Neige does. The dream is preemptively acting this time, with dream!Neige coming at us. We make a getaway and somehow whack the head of the announcer + have Rook usurp his role.
As Vil is walking down the red carpet, Rook announces the various sins that Vil has committed. Vil panics and demands that someone shut Rook up, but then he starts to realize things aren't quite right.
We try to intervene, but Neige gets in the way and ultimately Vil is pulled deeper into his own darkness. Everyone else plunges into the dark with Vil?? I was worried that we'd have another battle map segment but thankfully there was none!!
We're back in the VDC backstage hallway area and stumble across a horrifying sight. Neige is on the ground (next to an empty bottle of apple juice) and all Seven Dwarves are surrounding him and sobbing. Ortho runs a scan on his vitals and Neige... FLATLINES...
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?????? THAT VIL ACTUALLY INTENDED TO KILL NEIGE IN BOOK 5????? đ Dude... No wonder why Vil was feeling so guilty and screaming that his actions were so "ugly"...
Epel uses his UM to encase Neige in a magical glass coffin to keep him safe. Then they run out onto the VDC stage and hear the announcer declaring that NRC has won. Vil is there soaking up all the attention and praise until we confront him.
Just as he is starting to "awaken", the darkness comes back and Vil alone is taken.
What I find really adorable here is that both Epel and Rook rush to his side and try to pull Vil out of the darkness. They're... OFFERING THEIR HANDS... TO HELP HIM OUT OF THE MIRE... OFFERED HANDS... A MOTIF THAT HAS BEEN IN TWST SINCE THE PROLOGUE... đď¸
Vil finally faces off against his Phantom. Like Idia in the last update, Vil willingly assumes his OB form to do battle. These fights seem very symbolic in the grand scheme of things. Idia and now Vil, confronting the worst, most unsavory parts of themselves, their inner demons, and rising victorious, proving that they have become better people⌠It continues the little bits of character growth that weâve been seeing in each of the past books!!
He rises from the darkness and joins up with everyone else after conquering the fight!! The update ends here.
Okay, there's a LOT to talk about????????
The highlight for me was definitely Idia's presentation. It was very fun to watch because of the slick editing and it was a silly way to lay out the plans. I appreciate that we get to see Idia's strengths on display here; he can get long-winded and throw in lots of eccentric gamer slang, but you can also see how quickly he's able to tailor a complex plan together while accounting for many variables. adfhlboafoiyebif I UNDERSTAND THE IDIA HYPE NOW, I UNDERSTAND IT ALL...
(Side note: I did not know where to insert this, so I'll do it at the end! BONUS POINTS TO IDIA FOR RIGHTFULLY CALLING MALLEUS SHALLOW đ because his understanding of constitutes as happiness truly IS shallow. Once again, Idia slays with his brutally real words...)
I already said my parts about Epel and Rook's dreams when they happened. It was great seeing how their characters have developed, especially Epel! I never much cared for him, but I really appreciate all that he has done this update.
This pretty much confirms that future updates will have us visiting every remaining classmate's dreams and "waking" them. Admittedly, I'm both excited and worried??? Because that's a TON to cram in, and I worry that not everyone will get proper screentime or development. On the other hand, I'm hype to see what their dreams are like and what other limited SSRs the game might throw at us.
I feel like with the reveal of Vil OBing to fight his Phantom/"inner demons", we'll get similar scenes with the other OB boys coming to terms with what they've done and where they can go from here. This... might lead into the highly desired and speculated about Overblot series of SSRs, which I theorize will be the limited SSRs for each of the OB boys. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for those, TWST... I wonder if we'll get a Neige card eventually too??? Since we did see his battle assets exist this time. Will Chenya get one too, assuming he comes in a futureHeartslabyul update??
Aaaaaah, next time... Scarabia... 𤥠I'm so hype for that, Scarabia is like my second favorite dorm next to Octavinelle!! (SPEAKING OF, WILL WE FINALLY GET EEL FORM CARDS FOR THE TWINS...)
Iâm sliiiightly concerned for Silver because bro used his UM no less than, what? 4 or 5 times this update alone??? He used his UM to enter Yuuâs dream and then Sebek, Lilia, AND Idiaâs. Presumably, he also has to use his UM no less than 13 more times (12 more for the remaining boys + 1 more time to return them all to Idiaâs to ambush Malleus). And even worse, he has to transport an increasing number of people each time. HOW TF IS SILVER NOT OVERBLOTTING????! đ
bxjsgwjwnwkcbjsbs This update was nonstop WTF moments sandwiched between genuinely heartfelt moments. Itâs been really rewarding to follow along and see how the Pomefiore boys have changed since we first met them all the way back in late book 4, early book 5. Looking forward to seeing how the other boys play out!! (⌠Book 7 is fr about to be 200+ parts long đ)

I completely forgot live was today, what's the cliffnotes? What's the deets on the pale garden? How does New Guy work?
Hi! Cliff Notes are:
New biome: The Pale Garden!
> Overworld dense forest biome > Features a brand new wood type called âpale oakâ and itâs basically white wood :D and the âgrowth-styleâ of pale oaks mimic dark oaks, so thereâs a lot of wood per tree > The canopy of the biome is thicker than a normal forest, the grass type is really desaturated, and itâs very graveyard-esqueâ theyâre definitely going for an empty, vacant, spooky âsomething is wrong hereâ vibe. > New foliage! Hanging moss and Pale Moss Carpet (that, when placed next to vertical blocks, put little vines growing up the side of walls and stuff) > Itâs safe during the day, but at Night the new mob can spawn, and there are new ambient sounds (creaking, crunching, very horror-esque sounds).
New Mob: The Creaking!
> They only spawn at night > They work like Weeping Angelsâ theyâre completely still when youâre looking at them, and they scramble towards you as soon as you look away. > They deal relatively low damage, but damage can add up when there are multiple ganging up on the player > They do not take damage at all, but are instead linked to nearby âCreaking Hearts,â which are special-texture wood blocks nestled in the trunks of nearby trees. When you destroy/mine the Creaking Hearts, The Creeking mob will shatter, so theyâre more like puppets. So this is a whole new way to manipulate/defeat this hostile mob :D > You can silk touch the Creaking Hearts, meaning you can place them down again and spawn a Creaking.
In my personal opinion it was really discouraging to see how negative the comments section was after genuinely enjoying the live/video (They had a cute animated section to tease the reveal of the new mob that I thought was really cute too, I couldnât stop smiling), and I do think there are some small things that could be added to make the new biome a little more immersive or unique (new leaf textures, new tree-growth-style, a new flower type, fog, particle effects, things like that that could enhance the atmosphere!), but I honestly think this is all really exciting and it gives a lot of life to the Minecraft world-building/ecosystem :3
(In other news, they added hardcore to bedrock, gave some insights on the minecraft movie set building, and did a cool little community-feature pre-show. After the reveals above, they did an after-show where they went more in depth on all of the new blocks!)
Also, if I missed anything, feel free to add stuff in reblogs/comments/etc!
#I understand most ppl wanted it to be an end biome (me 2) and I think it would have been âbetterâ or cool but also⌠they clearly spent time#Developing this and I genuinely think itâs really cool so Iâm not going to complain too much#I think itâs obvious by now that people want end content so if they want to do End content they will eventually i think!#Iâll be happy with whatever tbh#A new biome AND and a new hostile mob AND a new wood type seems like a good bit of stuff even for a smaller drop#(Keeping in mind that they arenât doing big updates anymore)#So Iâm really excited :DDD#Shep speaks#Ask#minecraft live#Some little atmosphere enhancements would be really cool though >:]
