The good news is the whole first week of January's LittleBite-sizedArchive episodes are recorded, edited, and uploaded.

It was a whole job of work. 'cause apparently i don't know the meaning of "easing back into the swing of things." We're going to be looking at chronos453's Chapter Zero, and it's a pretty important project for me.

So that's the good news. The not at all good news is ShareFactory decided that all my un-exported projects don't exist anymore. Which means the "only needs the b-roll edited in" LittleBite-sizedPlanet epsiode needs putting back together again. Luckily i have all the raw footage for it, so i don't need to record anything new, but wivout the b-roll it's still 12chunks of footage to string together and slap overlays on and fiddle wiv trimming. i know the clock during the takeaway is going to be buggered, 'cause i know i won't be able to get the cuts exactly where they were, and all those extra seconds will add up. i don't even want to think about it.

The whole episode works out to almost 59minutes, and i haven't done anything so chonky since i was doing the old review show. And this is twice the size any of those episodes were. Wiv twice the number of levels i needed to record impressions of, come to think of it.

Maaaaaaaybe, we'll do another biggie like this in June. Provided the servers are still around. And i'm super glad to be doing this one. Chapter Zero's pretty special to me, and so is chronos, and i want to do both of them justice. But i do think something of this scope is just outside of my energy and ability to make into a regular thing.

Ooof... i just had an ugly thought, but. This was on my side account, but what if i lost the ShareFactory data on my main as well (i haven't needed to check yet)? Yiiiiick... i don't even want to think about it. i don't have any current, unfinished projects there, but i do have a whole heap of bits and pieces lying around waiting to be tied into something else (might never happen, but i kinda pack rat these things).

Well, we'll fry those eggs when we get to them, i guess.

The fonts that are used for the various logos throughout the franchise are:

The font that is used for the SHAREfactory logo on the PS4 is called Kroppen Round Regular by Talbot Type

Notes: The only difference is that the lowercase letters of r and y have been slightly modified

The font that is used for the Share Factory Studio logo on the PS5 is called Avante Garde Gothic Paneuropean Bold by Monotype

Angry Fire Bois | Monster Hunter World | Random Hunts

Random hunts are back! Today, we're getting stuck between the rock and a sneezing dinosaur, and then we're flashing a dragon repeatedly so we can hit it in the face really really hard. 😊 I may be switching over to PC MH:W and simultaneously upgrading to Iceborne soon, so the non-commentary hunts may be approaching an end. We'll see in the coming months, but many exciting things are afoot. 😁

Continuing Photo Project

This project needs a name, if only so i can keep everything in its own tag.

Gods, but i love having things neatly organized.

i also love B-Side Label stickers, so it was nice to have a chance to use them here. i'm still early on trying to figure out all the little things Photopea can do; i'm sure there has to be some way to incrementally rotate an overlay that i just haven't found yet. Like, here, it would look better if the overlay was canted just a scootch to the right, so it looks like it's hanging like the other stickers, and that's super easy on ShareFactory, but i don't know how to do it here (of course, as i say that, i realize to sell the effect, i'd have to tilt the "hook" in create mode, so that it would look like it was still standing upright in the finished picture. i could tilt the camera, but then the in-game image would hang wrong... i think?).

i don't know if i'll do this for the other story mode sets, but i kind of liked the idea of setting up scenes like they were from an old Community Level proto-adventure, wiv three main levels for the biome, and (maybe) a Survival Challenge or Minigame. i've got a photo for the third "level", but i'm still kicking around what i want the scene to look like.

i also need to get my arse ready for work, because the horrors are never ending, and neither are my bills and need for food, apparently.

So here's a new Sessions part. ShareFactory on PS5 is rough to edit with but I may have figured out how to do it another way for the next one... or even the one after.
