[gif’s full credit belongs solely to its owner]
๑彡 title is taken from one direction’s spaces (whose lyrics fit the ‘past’ that led to this story, albeit it was not explicitly told here).
๑彡 this is quite impulsive, actually. i was reading through my old fics in my drive a couple days ago && thought i can tweak this one a bit to change the ml . . .
You were surrounded by an enormous amount of cuddly plushies and breakable action figures. Everywhere you looked, your eyes would land on a face you grew up watching. Every single character played an important role in your childhood, whether you admired them or not. As far as your younger self was concerned, you were in heaven.
But then . . . you weren’t.
In the flood came — strong, unwavering, and without any warning.
All you could see was smoky quartz. Dark and light all at once. Akin to whiskey and honey whenever there was an eternal sun shining upon them, addicting and melting you right in. You could hardly believe that there was a time when they were utterly comforting to you, instead of just reminding you of a seemingly endless pain.
You had always appreciated the color brown. It was the color of soil — where life always had a chance to begin. It was the color of cocoa, too — a main ingredient in making the world sweeter. For you specifically, it symbolized a never-ending list of possibilities and opportunities.
Then, there came a time when the color itself signified something else entirely. It promised a happily ever after you never purposely sought, but was granted by the heavens anyway. It promised to cherish and to love you always. It promised you forever, lasting until the end of time. With the hopeless romantic ideologies that surrounded you as you grow, you willingly believed in those promises.
Yet, apparently, forever only last for seven years.
Brown, as rich and magical as it would remain, had its enchantments fade. Promises were broken. Smiles were rare and deceptive. A home gradually turned into a mere flat. A shadow eventually turned into a ghost. Life, once full of animation, had become utterly silent and still. From that moment on, dark crystals signified neglect, abandonment, and . . . regret.
You did not think you would be able to forgive those morions, much less forget. Yet, with time, they began to symbolize hope; a new beginning.
You never meant for it to. But these new dark crystals were so pure . . . so innocent . . . and so full of life. They were everything you thought it would be, if that shade was given humane features. Rather instinctively, just as soon as you caught a glimpse of them for the very first time, you knew you must protect those gorgeous hues from any evil — and so you tried your best.
Despite being an exact replica of the former, you instantly loved the new smoky quartz with all your heart — even more than your own life.
Once the flood had calmed, you found yourself in a situation that you had been dreading for the past few years. You did not expect the inevitable encounter for at least several more years, thus not even the comfort of childhood assisted in composing your racing heart.
"Seungjae." You found it quite difficult to act indifferent around a presence you used to know so well. "Why don’t you explore the princesses’ section? Your Uncle Jonghyeon told me Sarang likes Mulan." It was not like you could blatantly ignore him, either. All you could do was get Seungjae as far away as possible in case a confrontation spark ablaze.
"Okay!" Seungjae was enthusiastic as always, just like any other toddler who never seemed to run out energy. They turned to the man next to them, an appreciative smile on their face, "Bye-bye now, Mr. Seungcheol, thank you!" They then turned back to you, holding out their hand, "Let’s go?"
"I’ll follow you in a minute, love, okay?"
"Okay!" Seungjae remained oblivious on the thickening tension between the two adults. They walked away while dragging a plushie behind them by the ear — somewhat ecstatic to leave and explore on their own.
By the time the toddler was out of earshot, but still within your watchful eyes, you had finally settled on the best way to approach your current situation. "Thank you for helping Seungjae reach that plushie. Heaven knows what stunt they would’ve pulled just to reach it."
"[Nickname]," Seungcheol dismissed your gratitude, almost out of breath, "it’s been four years."
You did not quite appreciate how he easily dismissed your effort to keep your conversation civil, so you decided to quickly put him in his place. "Call me [First name], you lost the right to call me that when we—" You suddenly stopped yourself, realizing that it might catalyze something you were not mentally ready for. So, instead, you opted to redirect your chat in a more civil route, "How’s life treating you, Seungcheol?"
"How old are they?" Once again, he flat-out ignored you. As it seemed, while you were determined not to discuss what happened four years prior, that was the only topic he was interested in. "How— how old is Seungjae?"
You were left with no choice. If you answered, he would know, naturally. If you did not answer, he would still know, anyway. "They’re turning three this summer."
As confident his stance might have been, you watched it crumble in a millisecond after reality hit him with full force. "You should’ve— I should’ve—" When he regained enough of his senses, he seemed to realize that it was not a conversation you should be having in a children’s store. "We should probably talk elsewhere."
However stunned you were in seeing him so broken (something you had not witness in your seven years together), you were quick to dismiss him. "There’s nothing to talk about."
"[Nickname]—" Seungcheol instinctively grabbed onto your wrist when you began to walk away, but quickly dropped his hold when he realized that he might have crossed the line. "[First name]. Please."
You sighed. You did not plan on letting him off the hook easily (not that you thought of anything beforehand, anyway), but the fact that he did not even question the truthfulness of your words — like he still trusted you with all his heart . . . like he just knew that Seungjae could only be half of him — made you second guess your initial decisions.
Maybe . . . just maybe . . . you would spare him from knowing your main reason for departing without a goodbye.
"I already forgave you."

Toward You
Like flowing water,
I will come to you.
Like alcohol dissolving in water,
like nicotine congealing in alcohol,
like caffeine coating nicotine,
I will come to you.
Like syphilis germs flowing through veins,
like death gripping life.

just almost a week had gone by but i am missing Chiyeol and Haengseon so much
my final finale thoughts after reflecting over the whole series for a week.
i finally realised what i was frustrated with after mulling over all the different arcs over and over.
reading some of the reviews on this tag, i feel like the most common complaint was that the murder plot wasn't necessary in which i disagree with after simulating what the whole story would have been like if mr. ji wasn't part of the whole plot. or mr. ji didn't do the things he's done.
i came to the conclusion that the drama would have been good but wouldn't get the same sensation that it is now if not for the murder plot.
read below if interested.
one of my previous posts was me wondering if this whole story started with the murder plot-- meaning, did the writer start developing this drama revolving around mr. ji's character? i've since learned from the writer's post-drama interview that she actually started with the "star teachers" of the academies which made sense given that this drama was meant to be a commentary on the korean educational system.
if coming off that premise, then mr. ji's story was vital to the story. the problem lied on the parallels to his story. the whole thing was a precarious balancing act from start to finish and i think the writing team bit off more than they can chew.
it was very evident that they were seesawing from wanting to make a statement and making a slice-of-life drama while also highlighting a romantic-comedy. given the writer's past works, she does have a penchant for serial killer plot lines (see oh my ghost). the genre whiplash was so powerful that i learned what that expression meant cause i needed to name the dizziness i was feeling while watching episodes 12-15.
the only thing that was constant in the whole story was the one they wrapped so quickly and disappointingly which was ji dong hui and his descent to madness. his story was the crux of the commentary. the students' arcs (sua, seungjae, and haeyi) wouldn't have been any different from every other usual kdrama student plot line if not for the parallel to jeong seongyeon/ji dong hui and suyeon's story.
if not for ji dong hui, there wouldn't be a choi chiyeol, the star math teacher. his manipulation, corralling chiyeol into what he thought was what a "trusted adult" should be, and his creepy worship, made choi chiyeol, as a character, three dimensional.
the story wanted a hero, a villain, and a damsel-in-distress. ji donghui was the villain and he needed a hero opposite him which we were made to believe is choi chiyeol. now comes nam haengseon, a fierce dedicated woman whose goal in life was to give her pseudo-daughter and brother a life they deserved. she's fearless, she's unashamed, and she's a forgiver who never held a grudge on anyone not even her horrible sister. she was the hero this story deserved and the story needed her to clash and face the villain, ji donghui.
out comes choi chiyeol, who i discovered is appropriately called a wet pathetic cat of a man, the damsel-in-distress, who had a huge flaw. see, while i adore choi chiyeol (and will die for this fragile man), he was the one main character who had no clear "motivation".
take out the wealth, take out the psychological trauma, and most of all, take out ji donghui/jeong seongyeon, and you'll find just another teacher who is exhausted with the system and but is not doing anything about it. after simulating the whole story and taking out each of the character arcs, you could have taken choi chiyeol (and minus the "romance" part of the story), and you would have a more linear story enough to present a reflection of how the current educational system destroys the health-- the particularly the mental health-- of young students and its repercussions to adulthood.
while watching chiyeol and haengseon's universes collide, the numerous plots/character arcs became more and more far apart from each other. it also suffered from having too many characters who started another thread to an already convoluted plot. like, i love geonhu's character but why introduce him to add a love triangle in nam haeyi's story line when she's already as three-dimensional as a character as she already was? another thing, i thought that the characters of seungjae's mom, dad, and brother were all horribly misused. i also thought that there were too many "scandals" that they tackled. i understand that that was supposed to be the central theme to the story but they have seesawed from the premise throughout the show.
if felt like some episodes restarted the whole plot causing the genre whiplash.
putting a red herring made the murder plot longer than it should have been and having such a short confrontation scene between chiyeol and donghui at the end left the resolution of the plot unsatisfactory. having such a small trial scene about the whole thing felt like that particular plot was unresolved.
i thought the murder plot could've been solved maybe between episodes 9-11 and then we could've seen chiyeol go through the grief which haengseon and her whole family supporting him, getting the experience of a family he deserved since he didn't have anyone when he was grieving his dad's or suyeon's deaths.
having already been so invested in the characters of choi chiyeol, nam haengseon, and her whole family, i think the plot wouldn't have suffered so much seesawing if it focused mainly on the four people and their collided universes. i honestly felt like chiyeol's character was suffering a character change when donghui died that he felt a little irrelevant to the last arc of the show. i would have loved more exploration into chiyeol and haengseon's parent mode.
the most unnecessary plot of all, which i think we all agree, was haeyi's mom coming out of the blue with such weak motivation. she was an end to a mean-- for us to have that one last pity for this poor young girl and root for her to have the family she deserved. which we already knew. we know her character well enough that she was never going to leave haengseon and jaewoo.
crash course in romance is now part of my all time favorite kdramas (i don't watch a lot anyway) and will watch it over and over. i don't think i will get over the frustration of the genre whiplash. rewatching some of the episodes these past few days really made me realise that i wished they just focused more on chiyeol and haengseon. i mostly frustrated that haengseon never told chiyeol about the ep. 10 kiss so i am now trying to write a fanfiction about it.
i believe they hit a jackpot in getting jeon doyeon and jung kyungho for this drama. their chemistry might not be sizzling hot (e.g. binjin couple or songsong couple) but it was powerful enough to get ccir a place in korean entertainment industry.
after all of this rant, i still say thank you to the whole crash course in romance team.
i'll give it a grade of b minus if i'm allowed to.

“Do You Remember?”
Do you remember the day we first met when so much water fell for so long, like joy and sorrow? Since you didn’t call me, I couldn’t fall asleep. Since you didn’t call me ever again, I tossed and turned all my life. From Choi Seungija’s Phone Bells Keep Ringing for Me, trans. Won-Chung Kim and Cathy Park Hong (Action Books, 2020)

hello do you have any recs for contemporary korean literature? i havent read much but what ive read ive enjoyed so i want to read more nd u seem to have rly good taste!
hello thank u!! i'm not super well read in korean cuz i like to read things side by side with korean and english translation and it takes me an extremely long time to get through things but here's some stuff i like!
-anything han kang has written but especially human acts and the vegetarian. human acts by han kang literally rearranged my brain a little definitely a formative experience. i also have a book of her poems but i haven't finished it. next on my list is the white book and her newest book about jeju i'm so excited.
-kim hyesoon's poetry translated by don mee choi, sooo good. absurd abstract philosophical challenging gorgeous work.
-choi seungja's poetry i read some in an anthology and it floored me she's so bold and gritty and her images are so visceral. one of the most influential feminist poets in skorea for a reason. i don't think translations capture her voice very well but still worth it.
-love in the big city by sang young park! breakthrough mainstream lgbt lit it's making quite a splash. i haven't read it but i liked his short story on similar topics from a while back. heard anton hur did a great job translating!
-please look after mom by kyung sook shin i didn't read it all but i watched a reading she did of a passage from it and it made me cry so i think i can recommend it. no one does grief and yearning and undidactic contemplation of regret like koreans do it!!!
-drifting house by krys lee i think this english short story collection is the book i've read that most thoroughly traverses korean lit vs korean diaspora lit like she's US gyopo but she lives in korea and it shows in her literary voice.
-kim jiyoung, born 1982 by cho namjoo. the single most mainstream controversial piece of korean feminist literature everyone has an opinion about it i haven't read it but if i had a copy i would read it just to see what all the fuss is about. a stark depiction of the life of a typical korean woman under the patriarchy.
highly recommend looking at the work of the small circle of very cool korean literary translators. anton hur and soje are my fave queer translators and i follow jack jung and emily jungmin yoon on twt as well. also check out chogwa magazine! lots of delicious poems and cool translation process notes and details i love that zine.

S.Coups (최승철):

Tumblr media
“The Return of Supercheol.”
synopsis: Choi Seungcheol, well known as the leader of SEVENTEEN, stage name S.Coups, is joining ‘The Return Of Superman’ show with his beautiful two-year-old daughter, Si-Eun. What is it like on the first morning with the new family?
genre: TROS(the return of superman)!au, parents!au, fluff
pairing: father!seungcheol x mother!reader (ft. daughter!si-eun)
a/n: I already made a previous one where he had a daughter so I decided to use the same name hehe + it's been a while since I've actually watched TROS but I only watched Seungjae, Haru, Hao (or Ha-oh), Jam Jam, William & Bentley, Naeun & Gunhoo, and Sian, now I don't watch much of it anymore but I remembered enough to make this :) + don't mind the title of this one, I didn't know what to call it lol
-----------------
Si-Eun woke up to the sound of birds chirping.
Her room was dark like usual. She quickly reached for her pink stuffed bunny that was always resting beside her bed with her.
After finding it, she dragged it along with her as she climbed out of her crib and headed for the door.
The MCs that were watching the show called her a smart and strong girl for being able to climb out of her rather tall crib.
Si-Eun walked into the living room with her bunny, whom she named Cherry.
Sunlight was shining through the house but Si-Eun did not see her mother or father in the living room.
Upon seeing the living room, the MCs commented on how large and clean the place was.
Si-Eun looked around to see some cute little pink houses (which were not actually houses) with a camera peeking out of them. She was a bit wary because she could see the people in the little houses.
There was a moment of complete silence before Si-Eun suddenly dashed off. She ran so quickly that even the MCs were impressed. She had left Cherry behind.
Si-Eun quickly opened the door to a bedroom, which was the parent's bedroom. She waddled quickly to Seungcheol, who was still sleeping and tapped his shoulder.
You were sleeping in Seungcheol's arms but awoke when the door busted open.
“Daddy, daddy,” Si-Eun said, her voice cute. To wake her father up, she gave him a quick peck on the lips. “There is someone in the house.”
You sat up and decided to play along. “There's someone in the house?”
You saw Si-Eun nod. Then she pressed her tiny index finger to her lips and made a “shhhh” sound.
Whispering, your daughter said, “If they are robbers, only dad can beat them with his strong arms, right?”
You tried to hold in your giggle. “That's right, let's wake him up.”
The MCs laughed at your daughter's cute words.
You lifted your daughter onto the bed and both of you leaned into your husband's ear. “Wake up, dad~~”
Seungcheol slowly opened his eyes, probably still half asleep.
“Dad, there are people in the house~!” Si-Eun got out of bed, taking her father's ring and pinky fingers with her tiny hand, dragging him out of bed. “Hurry, or else they might take Cherry!”
Seungcheol laughed and the MCs did too while watching the episode. They talked a little bit about your husband too.
You got out of bed and quickly followed after them.
“Dad, you're strong, right??”
“Of course, I'm superman.”
“Okay, then can you fly?”
Seungcheol laughed. “No, not yet~”
Together, he and Si-Eun walked back to the living room, where the ‘houses’ were at.
Si-Eun pointed to the houses when they walked into the living room. “That's them... are they bad people?”
“No, they are not bad people, but you did a good job running to me. You even left Cherry behind, didn't you?” Seungcheol walked over to Cherry, who was laying on the floor and picked him up.
Seungcheol handed Cherry back to his daughter, the natural sunlight flowing through the window blinded his eyes. Seungcheol laid down on the hard floor.
Si-Eun walked over to you, who was in the kitchen after brushing your teeth and washing your face.
“Si-Eun~ tell your father to go help you brush your teeth~” You said.
Si-Eun ran back to the living room and told her father what you said. They brushed their teeth together while looking at each other's reflections, Si-Eun in her father's arms so that she could see herself in the mirror.
-
While your husband and daughter ate their breakfast sweetly, you put on a coat. For the day, you were going to leave those two alone, by themselves.
Of course, you felt a bit uneasy, but considering how much time Si-Eun spends with her father, you also felt relieved.
You tied up Si-Eun's hair into cute pigtails and dressed her up in a cute white shirt with a lamb on it and some denim overalls.
When it was about time for you to leave, you went to Si-Eun to say your last goodbyes for the day.
“Where are you going, mom??” Si-Eun asked.
“I'm going to my mother's house. I'll be gone for a long time so stay with your dad, okay?”
“Okay!” Si-Eun happily agreed in almost an instant.
You waved goodbye again and gave both Si-Eun and Seungcheol a kiss on the cheek.
-
“Now that mom is gone, what would you like to do?” Seungcheol asked his daughter, who was jumping around with Cherry in her arms.
Si-Eun stopped to think, pouting a little.
“Is there something that your mommy didn't let you do?” Seungcheol asked, taking the hand of his beautiful daughter, Si-Eun. Si-Eun chuckled mischievously and then leaned toward her father's ear.
“Mommy didn't let me go to the playground yesterday because it was too cold,” Si-Eun said in a cute voice. Then she pointed to a large window. “It's bright today, isn't it?”
Seungcheol smiled and patted his sweet daughter on the back. “Should we go for a father-daughter picnic?” Seungcheol suggested.
Si-Eun nodded.
Your husband and daughter ended up going to the park, prepared for a picnic. They ate together and played on the playground together. Not only that, but Seungcheol also helped Si-Eun climb a tree!
The day ended with the two of them going back home and Si-Eun helping Seungcheol write lyrics. Seungcheol also taught Si-Eun to rap a little but in the end, she became a dancer instead.
Si-Eun copied the dances that her father used to perform and they had their own little concert in the house while you were gone.
In the end, Si-Eun was getting tired so Seungcheol picked her up and held her in his arms, talking to her as he wrote lyrics. She fell asleep in his arms.
-
“Such a lovely first day! After all that playing, beautiful Si-Eun must've been so tired!” The male MC said, with a small laugh.
“We have to appreciate Father Cheol too, he played with her so well and took such good care of her without her mother there,” The female MC continued. “Their father-daughter chemistry was truly superior!”
“Right, and Si-Eun was so cute! I'm going to look forward to all of their episodes!” The male MC exclaimed.
You were sitting in front of the TV, watching with a smile on your face throughout your husband and daughter's first episode on The Return of Superman.

Episode Summary: The Choi family’s first appearance on The Return of Superman: Idol.
Genre: Pure Fluff
Masterlist For SVTTROS Series
Tumblr media
Italics: Narrators Boo Seungkwan (BS) and Lee Minhyuk (LM)
Bold: Staff
Regular: What family member says/ what the Camera films during the Show
Tumblr media
🎶 Listen To: Hello by Seventeen 🎶
BS: The Return of Superman Idol Edition.
LM: Episode 1 “Today is a New Day”. It’s a sunny summer morning in August, today we are meeting our newest superman.
BS: First let’s take a look at the spacious, simple interior of the house. The toys seem to be neatly put away into cubbies and draws.
LM: Let see who lives here. Two boys have woken up, one diligently brushes his pearly white teeth while the other carefully washes his face.
BS: Ah! No way! Looks like we have a set of identical twins in this Superman household. Both look too old to be playing with the toys in the living room.
LM: The lights have turned on in another room. It looks like the mother has walked into a room with two beds in them.
You look into your Youngest twins room, careful to not show your face to the cameras quite yet, and see if they have gotten up already.
Chuckling to yourself as the two boys are sprawled out the same way in each bed. You carefully remove the blanket from the first before leaning over to kiss Seungjun’s exposed forehead.
You whisper a good morning before making your way towards the Seungjae’s bed repeating the same action, opening the blinds, and making your way to the kitchen.
LM: This Supermom sure has her handful with two pairs of boys. These too seem to appear much younger than the other two.
BS: Wah! Kids are always so cute when they wake up in the morning, these twins take the cake as being the cutest. Who could these beautiful boys parents be?
You open the fridge grabbing seaweed, premade stock, tofu, fish, eggs, carrots and green onions. You take a pot to the stove quickly bring the stock to a boil.
You open the smoker close to the oven, carefully taking the fish out.
Pulling a bowl from the dishwasher, your crack a couple of eggs into a bowl, throwing in some carrots and green onions you diced earlier.
You carefully poor in the mixture into a lightly oiled pan, occasionally checking the soup boiling beside it.
LM: This person is so kind and hard-working, she kisses her kids in the morning, prepares breakfast and has even had time to wash some dishes left in the sink. A true supermom.
Your two older sons come in quietly, admiring the way you work before Baekyeon opens his mouth to speak. “Do you need help Eomma?”
Smiling kindly to both of them, asking if they could help wake up their dad and younger siblings while you go and set the table for breakfast. They both nod, before doing as they’re told.
BS: This supersized family seems to gather around the dining room table most often. Oh! Do my eyes deceive me is that a high chair and dog bowls near the fridge?
Making your way over to the fridge, you bend down to pick up one of the empty dog food bowls before making your way to the cabinet under the sink.
Opening a large pet food storage container you scoop dog food into the bowl, shaking it loudly as you put it back down.
“Bomi!”, you call out loudly. The sound of paws could be heard against your tile floors as the family's dog, a Malamute Husky makes its way into the kitchen.
Without hesitation, she sits patiently near her bowl waiting for you to give her a command to eat. With a slight nod of your head, she devours the food happily.
“Jagiya,” Your husband calls sweetly to you in his deep morning voice, you dry off your hands on a nearby kitchen towel before making your way towards the master bedroom.
When you turn around, the cameras immediately catch the view of your face.
BS: No way! It’s renowned Chef, restaurant owner and part-time host of “Take Care of My Fridge Korea”, Choi Y/N.
You return from the bedroom carrying the youngest member of your family as your husband struggles from behind you, carrying the youngest twins in either arm.
BS: That means her husband is none other than Seventeen’s leader SCoups
Tumblr media
“Hello, my name is Choi Baekhyeon, I am 9 years old.”
“I’m Choi Jihyeon and I’m his twin brother, it’s very nice to meet you.” The two eldest bow respectfully towards the camera before bringing out their younger siblings.
“These are our younger brothers Seungjae, and Seungjun. How old are you guys?” Jihyeon asks, getting down to their level when he speaks.
“We’re 5” Seungjae cheekily escapes his brother moving up close to the camera.
Seungjun follows after him, before tugging him back towards Seungcheol’s lap. “No Jae, we’re 6 now.”
‘Oh yeah, you’re right.” Seungjae laughs. Seungcheol can’t help but chuckle at them before ruffling their hair.
“Hello, I’m Choi Seungcheol,” he struggles to speak comfortably as the younger twins decide to sit on either side of his leg.
“Hello, I’m Seungcheol’s wife Choi Y/N, and this is our Maknae Choi Aecha.” You bow towards the camera, and Aecha who sits comfortably in your lap follows.
Choi Seungcheol is leader of one of the top 3rd generation idol groups while his wife is a famous Michelin star chef. The pair met at a recording of “Take Care of My Fridge”. After 4 years of dating, they got married spring of 20XX. Almost a year later their first twins, Baekhyeon and Jihyeon, were born.
What were your first impressions of each other?”
“She was my celebrity crush and I was hers but we never had a chance to talk to each other until my members Joshua, Mingyu and I were guests on “Take Care of My Fridge”
“He was quick to introduce himself and the other members when we met each other in the hallway of the studio. Right there and then I could tell he was the leader type, someone you could depend on. That was always something I wanted in my significant other.”
“In reality, I was trying to hide the fact I was shaking of nervousness and sweating bullets.”
“Really?”
“I thought you were out of my league, besides you were known to be cute and kind while your costars and other guests were scared of me.”
“You’re not scary, you’re a big old teddy bear.”
“When did you realize you two wanted to get married?”
“It was after we adopted our dog Bomi from the shelter and I came home late from the studio. Just seeing her on the couch with Bomi passed out after waiting for me to come home, and dinner laid out on the table for me is when I knew I wanted to be with her the rest of my life.”
“I realized he was the one when he was watching me compete in a famous food competition that I was preparing for and in the end, I came in 2nd place. I was beyond upset with myself knowing that I could’ve done better, but rather than allowing me to beat myself up over it, he surprised me with a trophy case with all my accomplishments in our apartment. He made me realize I shouldn’t focus on what I can’t do but what I can.”
Did you guys plan to have this big of a family?”
“Seungcheol and I always knew we wanted a big family, it was one of the things we talked about when we first started dating. After we found we were having BaekHyeon and Jihyeon we realized the house was going to be hectic, so we put that dream on pause.”
“Three years passed and we realized that we still felt like we were missing a piece of our family. We both really wanted to have a girl so we decided to try again.”
“To our surprise, we were expecting another set of twins.”
“We love our boys with all our hearts, but even after the younger twins began growing more independently, we began to miss the fresh baby and wanted to try for a girl.”
“After waiting for so long we finally had our little princess Aecha, and it was like all the pieces fell into place for our little family.”
What can viewers look forward to with your family?”
“Beak and Ji are older and busy with school so they won’t be on screen often, however, I hope my time watching Seungjae, Seungjun and Aecha will put a smile on your faces.
BS: Looks like Y/N is off to drop the oldest twins at school before she heads to her first day back at work after maternity leave. Awe, so sweet, she can’t leave without a kiss from her kids and husband.
LM: It is always difficult returning back to work after spending such a long time with your kids. Let’s hope Seungcheol can handle taking care of the little ones all by himself.

SIDE EVENT 006.
a reminder on side-events; they are non-mandatory occasional events that your muse can choose to participate in or not.
while missing an event might mean missing out on points, be aware that choosing to take part in it could have positive or negative consequences for your muse. there is also no telling which part of the event will have consequences either since they will be tailored to make it difficult to guess what could impact your muse. while the final consequences are decided at the same time as the event is created, we will only reveal them the sunday after the deadline. so choose wisely: are you willing to make a gamble with your muse?
** the admin team would like to add a special thank you to @lgcjude / @lgcjina / @lgcwon for the event idea **
LEGACY FESTIVAL
spring is the season of festivals. since april, senior artists have been busy with the many festivals (universities and musicals) that run throughout the season. with their current roster being larger than ever, legacy is looking to create a whole new experience inspired by the extremely popular festival: ‘COACHELLA’. the THREE DAYS festival will begin on JUNE 12 and end on JUNE 15. a site with tents and three stages will be set up for the occasion. food trucks from various restaurants will also be set up in a resting area. various activities and merchandise will be available during the festival, but the main attraction remains LEGACY ARTISTS.
during the three days of the festival, the senior artists will perform on the main stage. alongside them FUTURE DREAMS will also take on the main stage. with little time to prepare, they will perform the songs they have been rehearsing and performing during the past months. the rest of the trainees will be performing on the two smaller stages. they have been divided between SIX different activities. the first is a FANMEETING, where trainees will sit with a host, answer question from the crowd (pre-screened) and take pictures with lucky winners. the second is a LIVE SHOW with trainees hosting it. the third is a BEAUTY PANEL with a professional makeup artist of innisfree using trainees as models, they will discuss beauty with the trainees too. the fourth is DANCE BATTLE where trainees are divided in teams of two and have to ace the most choreography of songs randomly given to them. the fifth is the same concept but as a SINGING BATTLE. the final stage is a RAP BATTLE, a mock form of show me the money form where each trainee will have to perform a rap stage.
while the festival is for fans to enjoy, trainees will also be given a few hours to attend 2 stages. safe areas for artists will be arranged everywhere so that legacy artists can enjoy activities freely. those areas will be close enough from the vip area so that fans who paid more could interact with legacy artists should they wish to. trainees are forbidden to attend stages of trainees of another gender.
