— I have to find my daughter! — Listen to me! Your daughter… Işık, right? — Yes. What's wrong with her? — She's… — Speak up! — What do you remember? — There was a shot, a lot of blood, but I'm here! I was hurt, not her! Where is my daughter? — Serhat bay, I'm very sorry… — Hayır, hayır, you're wrong. I know she's alive!

Favorite Song From Each Country! Part 30/37: San Marino!
Here we have the smallest participating country. While they can't beat Monaco's winning record because it's bigger (according to ESC Stroopwafel, Monaco is the smallest country to win Eurovision in 1971, and the record can only be broken if the Vatican City enters and wins which...highly unlikely), it keeps the microstate spirit alive with a variety of songs and an...interesting national final from what I've heard. Not to mention they have three artists that have taken up the bulk of participations with great songs from each!
Favorite Entry: Eurovision fans are broken up into three groups when it comes to San Marino: The Valentina Monetta fans, The Serhat fans, and the Senhit fans! And while I give a lot of love for 2015, this time, I want to give some love to what possibly is my 2nd favorite Eurovision Year: 2021. I felt the actual winner was worthy (it ranked 2nd), and my actual favorite was 3rd and took home the jury win. But it also gave a chance for me to meet San Marino in a way I never thought I would meet it...featuring Flo Rida. Yep. My favorite entry from San Marino is "Adrenalina" by Senhit from 2021...with...Flo Rida? I'm in the Senhit group now, I won't deny that, and this song explains it all. It's fun, and perfect for parties (and the reason I got into Eurovision...I have a lot of sad songs and wanted some happy ones. That's what happens when you get your Spotify up and running during the pandemic). So...yes. Robbed masterpiece. RANK: 22nd in 2021 Grand Final/PERSONAL RANK: 5th of 39 Countries
Thoughts on 2023 Entry: See, the problem I have with Piqued Jacks' "Like An Animal" was that the only version we had of it for a while was the live version. So, I wanted to like it because it sounded fun, but the production was not good because it was live...lives by nature don't sound as good as the studio version with few exceptions. And then, I got impatient with ranking and never listened to the studio version when it came out. Now that that's out of the way, it sounds fun (the studio version does sound a little better now that I'm listening to it), and the retro sound seems to match the vibe. Last place had to go to someone, but null points, no matter the song is too harsh. Maybe this one will grow on me later on...only time will tell...RANK: 16th in 2023 Semi-Final 2 (37th Overall)/Personal Rank: 36th of 37 Countries

Top 5 fave acts from each country because idk what to do with my life now that esc is over. :') (2010 to 2021)
San Marino
5. Jessika & Jennifer Brening - Who we are (2018)
I like the mid tempo sound, though I think the song loses its spark a lil at the chorus. And robots. Just robots.
4. Valentina Monetta & Jimmie Wilson - Spirit of the night (2017)
Really trashy and dated but for some reason I lowkey like it?? Both ironically and unironically. I can't really take them seriously but at the same time the song is catchy, a bit screamy. What even is my music tASTE
3. Serhat - Say na na na (2019)
King Serhat was back in full force (bcs his 2016 entry was...something) with a meme song!! Again very dated, a bit cheesy but catchy. Same story as 2017, I enjoy this but at the same time I think it's kinda ridiculous lmao
2. Valentina Monetta - Maybe (2014)
Ah yes, our Sanmarinese queen!! This was honestly great!!
Other faves: The social network song (it's so bad it's good, also this would have worked better in like 2004), Freaky (love the disco vibe)
1. Valentina Monetta - Crisalide (2013)
Wow, powerful and magical!! Also sung in italian!! It's a clear standout from San Marino, def their best effort.

Highlights of shooting our short film (so far)
"So what will the film be about?" "Bavaria." "Murder." "Same difference."
"He's having a bad day, gets angry, snaps a little, commits mass homicide, we've all been there..." "Maddie, I don't think I ever want to meet you after a bad day"
"But why can't I play the student and Jonas will be the teacher?" "Serhat, I cannot stress this enough but you. Have. A beard. And Jonas. Does not."
"Maddie could play the teacher-" "SERHAT SHE'S 4'9"
"Well he could hide the body in the dumpster" "It all depends on how keen you are on being thrown into the dumpster" "..... you know, actually, the basement is just fine"
"So how does he get rid of her body?" "Throw her in the river?" "I as the body heavily protest."
"We could throw you out of the window in a trashbag for realism" "Look I know I'm trash but I don't wanna end like that"
At ten in the night the guy playing the abusive dad asked for feet pics in the group chat and the guy playing the evil imaginary friend responded
Our teacher has no clue whatsoever how we're working because every time he walks in we all make it a point to stare at him as creepily as possible and wave
"Can we make it look like Maddie is kicking me in the face" "SURE WE CAN" "WAIT WAIT MADDIE NOT LIKE THIS"
Costume department made elaborate descriptions for everyone's costumes and then wrote down "Pants and shirt" for the abusive dad
Me, a dark academia gnc goth who hasn't worn a dress in years: "Okay, I know you planned on me wearing a white flower dress, but you have to understand, I do not own anything remotely close to that"
We cast a girl much shorter than our murderer to play his mum
Camera guy was being a little bitch and eventually our murderer flat out told him to leave the group if he continued to throw a tantrum over everything and finished with "Because of this discussion my noodles are cold now. THIS is a reason to freak out."
"So I can just play Plague Inc. while you're filming the scene?" "Yeah" "Fuck yeah I'm becoming an actor, best job ever."
"Do I look like a teacher?" "You look like you've spent the night drunk in a ditch" "In other words, yes"
"So who are we murdering today? Cuba or Maddie?"
We went down to the basement for filming and everyone kept hitting their head on the ceiling except me
The lights went out while we were filming in the basement and everyone panicked, except me who was playing dead the entire time because my current assigned role was corpse
"Okay, let's make this look like a typical student's desk, what do we need?" "Books." "Collegeblocks." "An axe."
"The average student I know has at least one formerly edible, horribly mouldy thing scattered across his desk"
"Why is this group so aggressive?!" "THIS FILM IS ABOUT MURDER WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?"
Guy playing abusive dad: *slams fist on table* "LOSER!!!" Teacher, peeking inside five minutes after the take: "Mohammad, was that you?"

EUROVISION 2021, personal favorites:
- Russia 🇷🇺
Manizha, Russian Woman: Absolute favorite. The sheer originality of the song! Her energy and the level of absolute badassery! She can sing, she can rap,and she's a bomb of energy. The way reggae and brass and hiphop and Slavic melodies overlap and it somehow works, the transitions between fun and "I'm bitter about the sexism and I'm mocking it unapologetically and making a stand" and the anthemic, emphatic and powerful message to Russian women; I was swelling with emotion while watching her. While to an American or a Westerner it may seem like performative feminism, I'm gonna remind you that in Russia and other Slavic countries that's very much not a thing and actually a very unpopular stand to make, and in Russia, The Balkans, and Eastern Europe in general, hundreds of women face domestic and sexual abuse on the daily, and those who do come forward rarely get support and are mostly dismissed. Let's not forget that Manizha got a huge backlash from the Russian government officials, and a big part of it was for her Tajik roots. The honesty of her message is real, and she's speaking from personal experience and the experience of women around her - nothing performative about her song, and you can tell from her delivery that the fire within her is true and she leaves her heart on the stage and pours it into the song. The staging and costumes are great as well, and symbolically well thougt-through. I would really like her to win, or at least get to the top 5. Most of all, I hope her message is heard and felt. 10000/10
- Italy 🇮🇹
Måneskin, Zitti e Buoni: definitely the closest thing to my actual music taste this year, so liking them off the bat wasn't a surprise. However, they're not just your regular Franz-Ferdinand-ish young alt rock band that wants to do rock "properly" - they have IT. The X factor, the Je ne sais quoi. I've been exposed to that particular genre, and I can confidently say that the song still manages to be refreshing and original (that bridge, those riffs!) The band has a great energy and no matter how much Damiano steals the show, they are still a unit and nobody is left in the shadows. They have the spirit of great rock bands of the previous century, and yet they don't try to copy anyone (khm,Greta Van Fleet, khm). Damiano's vocals are both powerful, seductive and provoking, and I'm still admiring the sheer amount of emotion he can pack into a single line and the nuance and yet rawness behind it. I'm not gonna state the obvious lol (the obvious being yes, I'm thirsty as well, he becomes yet another unattainable rockstar for me too,and yes they all look great) Anyway, great song, and maybe the clearest and most serious candidate for the number one spot, taking both the jury and the public into consideration. 10/10
- Iceland 🇮🇸
Daði Freyr and Gagnamagnið, 10 years:
What can I say about this masterpiece that hasn't already been said? A clear fan-favorite (hi, Valentina), but with the guns to back it up. The song is contagious, fun and campy, and unlike some other songs with said qualities, actually good from a musical perspective. Daði is incredibly charismatic and his sense of humor shines through, and even though he's the star of the show, the same can be said about the other band members. The synergy Måneskin has can be applied to Gagnamagnið as well, even though the energy is entirely different. They're serving us fun, sunshine, kitties rainbows sugar spice and everything nice, and manage to do it with zero cringe factor (plus those funky keytars). I'm one of those Eurovision fans that lament the golden age's (2004-2009) campiness (We'll never forget you, Verka), and Daði managed to bring it back, but modernised, polished and still sincere. I personally preferred the epic dad joke that slightly more commercial Think About Thing was (but that's one tough act to follow), but I'm always down for a husband adoring his wife and singing praises to their relationship. Since we're on tumblr, I feel obliged to use the term "cinnamon rolls" in describing Daði and the band. 9.5/10
- France 🇫🇷
Barbara Pravi, Voilà: She brought the theatrics, she brought the drama, and she brought the 101 in "that's how you perform". Her personality leaps through, and her voice is both beautiful and full of emotion and power. I'd hire her to star in a serious and artistic movie. Despite the fact that Voilà is from its melody to the singing style to the video to the vibe and the aesthetic hands down the most French thing I've seen since Amélie (do not come for that movie), it miraculously doesn't come across as a cliché, but rather an homage, and an individualistic one at that. It's not entirely my cup of tea, since I'm usually biased to songs that may come off as snobbish (I mean, the jury is going to lap it up), and are all about being proper and technical and oh how ~artistic~, but Barbara puts the soul into the immaculate. I'm not giving her the highest mark because I'm yet to see the performance, but I'm rooting for her. If she delivers the performance, we might have a clear winner. 9/10
- Ukraine 🇺🇦
Go_A, Shum: I'm a sucker for all things ethnic and mytological, so this was a no-brainer. I want that song played at every party. I want to go to the forest in the video and chant and summon the spring with flute and hard-bass. Kateryna Pavlenko has some unexplainable power over me, and her eyes are simply hypnotizing. The vocals are great, proper Slavic ethno right there (seriously, check out Slavic folklore and traditional music), and she has a subtle punk quality too(?). Ukraine came to save the spring and make us forget about the pandemic, and minus the Maruv fiasco (justice for her!), they always deliver and I expected nothing less. On the other hand, I loved the original version much more and couldn't help but be a bit disappointed with the revamp (yes, I know they had to), and while I personally love Shum, I think some other acts are more deserving of the higher placement. Go_A are not my winner, but definitely soon to be in my playlist. 8/10
- San Marino 🇸🇲
Adrenalina, Senhit ft. Flo Rida: You know that golden age of Eurovision I mentioned? THIS. I'm Serbian, so I can't resist a banger reminiscent of our horrible turbo-folk elements (and I say that endearingly, takes me back to 18th birthday parties (boy I'm glad that's over)). Let's just crown Senhit this year's Queen of Camp. The wild factor of Flo Rida...just?? Amazing. Can't wait to see how the performance goes (EDIT- it went great, I had a grin on my face the entire time and couldn't help but dance along). A certain refreshment after Serhat and Valentina Monetta endless loop. They didn't dial down the weird, but made it catchy af, and the vocal can rival any Balkan folk diva. While I think it's definitely the most entertaining entry this year, it's far from being the most original, and it's not really my genre of preference. Will vote for Senhit and root for her to qualify. 7.5/ 10
- Sweden 🇸🇪
Tusse, A million voices: As I mentioned before, I'm the first person that starts complaining about Sweden Superiority as soon as Eurovision season begins, and I'm with you all with being tired of Sweden qualifying just because they're Sweden and usually just bringing the same brand of MTV/Calvin Harris/American pop, or a successful and not-so-subtle imitation of the performances that did well the previous year, but listen: A million voices is a solid pop song and I'm going to die on that hill. It actually embodies the essence of pop - a catchy, pleasant melody sung by a good vocalist, with a short, sweet and uplifting message. It's not the same as previous years, it's not commercial, just good pop - good pop being something you immediately like and vibe to no matter how many common elements of the genre it checks. It relies on RnB rather than electronic sounds, auto tune or various DJ effects. Tusse is charming and charismatic af, and he's a 19yo kid doing an amazing job on a global stage. You don't have to like it, but there's no need to hate on it (ask Jendrik). Imo, Tusse deserved to qualify. Not winner material yet, but I wish him a fun time and a successful career. 7 5/10
- Switzerland 🇨🇭
G'jons Tears, Tout L'Univers: I saw the video first, and I HATED IT. It came across as a Duncan Lawrence-high-art wannabe, something technically perfect, but empty of soul or meaning, another soft boy with a sad falsetto, another jury-points bait. BUT. I changed my mind entirely after seeing him perform. Hands down, it was touching and epic. Reminding me of Hamlet aside, he DELIVERED, and made me love him, and actually enjoy the song. I still think the song is less original than Tusse's voices, but I enjoy the troubadour vibes of the pre-chours. G'jon is absolutely adorable, and I'm not gonna be mad if he wins. 8/10
shout-outs&honorable mentions:
- Serbia 🇷🇸 Yes, some national bias, but I'm proud of our girls. Ever Since we placed 2nd with Željko's Lane, we had that goddamn flute e v e r y year, and the same outdated scenography with a side of extra pathos (I'm sure that ruined Sanja's chances and her otherwise great performance back in 2016.) Finally something fun and actually representative of the music popular here. They looked flawless and the energy was off the charts. Go, Hurricane!
-Finland 🇫🇮 Yes, cheesy and corny and I cut my finger accidentally from watching the video on all the edge, but I'm biased because they're bringing emo and nu-metal back, and that's the music of my early adolescence (hello, Kaulitz brothers and Andy Biersack, hello Gerard Way and Linkin Park) Call me grandma lol
- Malta 🇲🇹 DESTINY CAN SIIIIIIIIING! I wasn't impressed with the song initially, but the performance blew my mind.
- Ireland 🇮🇪 A for effort, and so nice of her to try and give us something unique! While it wasn't good enough to qualify, it was super fun and she seems so nice. Also, we all know that she was out of breath an can sing much better than that. Still wasn't bad.
- Romania 🇷🇴, for being so young and brave enough to put on a show. The nerves got the better of her, but the song itself is good and no doubt she'll do well in the future
- Lithuania 🇱🇹, thanks for the memeries
- Croatia 🇭🇷, Not my cup of tea, but Albina gave a great performance
-Norway 🇳🇴, for embodying the spirit of Eurovision
- North Macedonia 🇲🇰, for the disco chest
- The UK 🇬🇧, for putting some effort

Eurovision 2021 Ranking w Comments
1. Denmark - Look this is god tier, idk what all the twitter ppl are talking about. Yeah it may be "dated", but by that logic, so is Finland.
2. Czech Republic - Again, god tier, but odds are also saying it won't qualify!!! Maybe I am out of touch.
3. Bulgaria - "No doubt you're worth saving, when getting up is all you've got" FUCK I CRIED.
4. Russia - Everything Toy wanted to be. Fave backing singer is the sweaty man.
5. Australia - We actually served this year and chances are we won't qualify. Yes, I am mad cause somehow our 2017 song qualified and it was shite.
6. Lithuania - The verses, the chorus, the yellow costumes, the hand thing. It's just too hard to pinpoint my favourite part of the whole package.
7. Georgia - LBR this will never qualify, but up until we get the MYYYY LOOOVVVEEEE its my favourite song. Idk it feels like such a waste that some mindless pop might qualify instead of this (*cough* *Moldova*).
8. Ukraine - I prefer the original version. This is still amazing tho.
9. Croatia - Love it. Suck shit 5g conspirator lady.
10. Cyprus - Some of the lyrics are so stupid (hotter than sriracha on the body), but goddamn that shit is catchy.
11. France - Everyone is raving about her performance style, but I'm not a fan tbh. Love the song tho and she does sing it so much better live than on the recording.
12. Italy - Out of the two rock offerings this year, this one is more timeless. Also, HELL YEAH! FEMALE BASSIST!
13. San Marino - Flo Rida or no Flo Rida it's a banger. Lmao @ Flo rida tho for judging a bikini competition instead of coming to a little insignificant song competition.
14. Poland - My guilty pleasure. It's just way too chaotic to hate (kinda like daddy Serhat in 2019) daddy Rafał hold me like one of your fish.
15. Serbia - Look I was annoyed at first listen, but a few rum-ba-ba-ba-bums later, it's a chaotic masterpiece, not a chaotic mess like #33.
16. UK - Massive improvement! Congrats, I guess. HOWEVER, I feel that this will still struggle to make top 20.
17. Belgium - Remember how they fired their singer that was supposed to represent them last year, it is for this reason that I think this song is a diss track about her. LUKA WORE THAT JOHNNY CASH T-SHIRT.
18. Ireland - Similar to last year, but unlike Azerbaijan, there are enough differences to make it a likeable entry. This of course is helped by the fact Ireland was a bit of a guilty pleasure last year.
19. Netherlands - Jeangu's voice is so rich and beautiful. I love the lyrics, but it is naïve of everybody to think that the commentators ( I'm looking at you UK) won't make a joke about that one lyric that sounds like a vegetable. I'm not gonna say what it is, google is free yanno.
20. Switzerland - It's one of those songs that I needed to listen to several times to appreciate.
21. Iceland - I love his message and his wholesomeness. Overall I like it, but I feel like the eurofan choir was only thought of to please the public in the short-term.
22. Malta - I love Destiny. I love her voice, her personality and the fact that she grew so much as a singer in front of our very eyes. However, they could have given her something that does not sound like a Melfest reject.
23. Norway - Radiohead 'Creep,' but make it g rated with design inspiration from Azerbaijan 2008 and and Croatia 2019.
24. Sweden - It's Sweden. It's safe, good and polished, but far too safe, good and polished.
25. Austria - On one hand, I can see through it as a jurybait wannabe. On the other hand, I do get (a good) emotional listening to it.
26. Greece - Its a vast improvement. This song suits Stefania better, unlike the "hello fellow kidzzz" rubbish of last year.
27. Finland - Welcome to 2004.
28. Slovenia - Excellent voice. That's it.
29. Spain - When I listened to it for the first time, I liked it, but I haven't really listened to it since.
30. Estonia - Pretty standard song, nothing special. Everyone calling Uku "daddy" on twitter is kinda funny tho.
31. Romania - I prefer Bulgarian Billie Eilish.
32. Portugal - The song is alright, his voice however is a bit too nasal for my liking.
33. Azerbaijan - You literally sent the same song. No effort! Boo! However, I do like the 20 second shaky camera disaster at the end of the music video.
34. Albania - I feel bad putting this so low, but when you have a national final so early, I often just forget it exists come contest time.
35. Latvia - Since I didn't like Samanta's offer last year or Tamara's song from 2019, it's probably the blonde bob haircut that I don't like.
36. Is**el - Out of all the pop songs this year, I am the most indifferent to this one.
37. North Macedonia - Better luck next year.
38. Moldova - The bit where Natalia dances with ice cream cones is unsettling because it reminds me of the music video for les succettes where dancing lollipops/penises are in the vicinity of France Gall.
39. Germany - The one guy that insists on playing his ukulele in any given situation. If you thought that was bad, just wait for the beat to drop.

A Chance Remembrance On the Frozen Isle
Lady Tiasha wasn't sure what had prompted her to begin a bed and breakfast in THIS tumultuous economic and political climate. However, since it's inception in 2006, it had steadily grown, and grown, making her, if not wealthy, than very very comfortably well off. Now the manager of nearly five hundred such collections of cabins and condos and chateauxs, she was currently overseeing her last project in the southern crook of Iceland. Just what had called her to the frigid landscape, mostly untouched by modernity, was hard to pin down. Some might have called it a good business hunch, a gut instinct that appeared incomprehensible at first, until it paid off. Others, far more bold than she, would chalk it up to fate.
Ember Tiasha, however, preferred to consider it the will of the Gods.
Just as they are.
Her on again off again freelance location scout stood off to the side, bouncing from foot to foot with his own copy of the dossier he had left in her office months before. The mercurial figure known as Ernish Serhat nodded to her as she approached.
"All coming along nicely isn't it?"
"Hmm? Oh yes. Didn't expect to see you today."
"When have I ever failed to stop by and see how your work os progressing. And *Don't* bring up Budapest."
"Fine. None. Have you eaten?"
Serhat sighed.
"Alas, no. Haven't had the time."
"You ought to start making the time. I mean it."
"Yes yes I know. Next time I'm in town."
"I'll be holding you to that."
"So...when is it set to open "
°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°`°
Three weeks into it's operation, now certain all was well in hand, Tiasha was packing her bags, content that this local no longer required her personal attention. Until, of course, several inconvenient circumstances befell to forestay her departure.
While the work had begun in mid fall, and hastened through the bulk of the succeeding season, February was quickly coming to a close. With it, the last dregs of Old Man Winters mighty breathe, in the form of the most vicious blizzard the region had seen in quite some time.
The roads too treacherous to travel, and power winking out all over the country side, locals and foreigners came to her in droves, seeking warmth and comfort. Her myriad cabins were all but full when two special arrivals made their appearance.
The first, having booked his trip almost before renovations were complete (she blamed the tech department for having the location advertised on the web page a week too early) came in from the chill almost too cheery, and, in fact, an hour ahead of schedule. A taller man, gaunt and slightly disheveled, in a surprisingly well tailored suit of onyx and burgundy, came up to the counter, deft long fingers clutching a jeweler's case, the navy vest beneath the coat winking in the candle light with small well placed semi precious stones. Behind him, an old steamer trunk, all hardwood and brass, with a decent sized garmet bag slung over top.
Misser Manolo Rhundé took a deep breath and gestured to the gale outside.
"Always something so...majestic and lovely about a good winter storm, isn't there?"
"Regardless of the state," the woman behind the counter nodded, handing him the key to cabin five, "we do hope you enjoy your stay."
Tiasha watched from off to the side, a slight shiver running through the warm aura'd woman. There was a certain feeling in the air about the man. Much the same the vibes given off by Serhat. A kindred spirit of some kind. Just things had been occurring more and more often of late. Though rarely in the same place twice, let alone this strong.
"I have no doubt I will. Frankly, it's a wonder I haven't visited before."
"That is completely and utter bullshit, sir. And I rather disagree with you on that." A woman's voice said, coming in from the cold. A dark brown glove pulls back a orange and yellow marigold stitched hood revealing a gorgeous dark skinned woman with long white dreadlocks, some of it in what looks like a hand knitted blue beanie, some of it is out and hanging free. Blue eyes glare slightly at the man who spoke, and it would seem that her hair would agree with her, because buds of light red petunias began growing and blooming in her hair.
Ororo Munroe is not having a good day. She had to wake up extra early for a flight that was slightly delayed for a few hours and she had to deal with annoying people on a ten hour flight from China, plus getting to this lovely little area was a pain in her ass. She's cold, tired, and doesn't want to deal with the bullshit of what an attractive man in a very nice three piece suit just said.
She undoes the first couple of buttons to her coat, revealing a light beige long shirt with chibi Studio Ghibli characters running down to the abyss of what is covered by her jacket. She walks towards the front desk carrying a worn out duffel bag along with a medium sized suitcase. The flowers soon die and turn into dust as she walks.
Her black uggs make little noise as she walks over to the front desk and side eyes the guy before looking at Tiashe with a tired and slightly annoyed expression but it soon melts away after a couple of minutes.
"Wǒ xiǎng huí jiā, xīwàng zhèxiē huā zhídé. Zhèlǐ tài lěngle.." She mutters softly before shaking her head slightly and smiling at Tiashe. "Sorry about that, I have a reservation under Munroe. If you excuse me.." She said as a lovely, vibrant violin ringtone begins to play from her jacket pocket.
Ro pulls out her phone and smiles softly as she answers. "Nǐ hǎo mǔqīn, shì de, shì de, wǒ ānquán de dàole zhèlǐ. wǒ yě ài nǐ." She said smiling and hanging up and putting her phone back in her pocket. She closes her eyes and hums softly before rubbing her eyes slightly.

Honestly the thing I'm most salty about Eurovision 2019 is not that Miki was in the last places, but that San Marino scored higher. Also yeah, the Spanishphobia there is sometimes so embarrassing and obvious. For example, when Blas' song came out (there were only around 12 at that moment) his song was placed 32nd in the rankings. Europe, at least put it in the 26th place that we go directly to the final
YES YES Like for fuck sake there were way worse songs than “La Venda” like the Serhat one come on Europe!!!! And I didn’t know the Blas thing, that’s really sketchy if they did that come on! Also, this is probably an unpopular opinion but... I didn’t mind Blas’ song. Like, it wasn’t amazing, but I didn’t think it was bad also. Idk, at least he’s participating with another song next year I suppose :/
