So Trite & Contrary
I am one. The Magician, the first card in the tarot. An important card, for me, especially. I lost myself in high & mighty IfĂĄ studies and forgot my core. Magic! And always, always necromancy & necrosophy. I was told to stay away from necromancy by a higher power and it fuckin felt wrong to me. Nobody tells me not to work with my muertos. My muerto was suspicious of the ATR'S.
Rodolfo wasn't very happy when he learned I was cutting down my time with him & the other muertos. Rodolfo is very special to me. My first successful extraction from the graveyard, into my Record Keeping quartz, then into my vessel. It was called a "spirit pot" and I wrote the book on those...years ago. I lost my muerto when I disassembled my pot about 12 years ago. Two years ago, my friend Angel told me how to get Rodolfo back & into a vessel - this time a old, decorated tequila bottle. Got the right herbs, bones, and a certain type of pact - worked like a charm!
Rodolfo died at 35 years old. He was in a motorcycle club known as the Free Souls. They are a 1%'er, outlaw MC that originate here in Eugene, Ore. He is Latino and proud of it, he prefers terms like Hispanic, Latino, or Mexican. I asked him about the new "Latinx" terminology after explaining it to him. He laughed at this, very jovial at first and then a sinister snicker. He said, "What bullshit, man. Don't fuckin say it cos like, what's the X stand for? Experimental? Fuckin dopes." He is old school, a bit biased about other races but not racist.
I have a photo of his grave. He does have a difficult last name to pronounce. He is a Taurus. I usually don't get along with Taurus folks. Hmm!
I'm sure ppl may not believe me & the shit I talk about. That's fine, but I'm not a liar, nor do I write fiction. Not a fan of fiction anyway. I'm also not afraid to stand up for what I do & stand for. Basically, I'm no shit talker. Everything I do is real & it works for me & others I've taught. I've got 32 years of magic experience and I was born a necromancer. It was written in my stars (astrology). I can see it in anyone's astrological chart. It's all placements. Saturn, outer planets, and houses. Yes, you can still be a necromancer if it's not in your astrological chart, but it's quite a bit harder. I recently had a client with a perfect chart. Just couldn't teach her because her personality didn't go with mine. I'm not a fast teacher & I don't hand out participation trophies. Lessons & tests require field trips to graveyards frequently. Necromancy & necrosophy does not require lots of reading books, but it does require WORK.
Teaching is open, but I've already posted the class fee. Not cheap. It's not only documents that you get. I also send many things for the class that I do not sell. Oils, incenses, polvos (powders), special concoctions - like my Wallbreaker brew. That's a very potent mixture that breaks down blockages in your life. I only *give* this stuff away, or if I do sell it, it's at $35 for 1/2 ounce. It's gold, baby. Pure gold. Yes, it does work that well. Many clients still look for it. The only bottle I have is the LAST bottle. I can make it again but it takes about 5 years. A special root is mixed with a Spanish leaf in grain alcohol and must steep for at least five years. The odor is interesting, sort of like leather and booze and it's brown in color.
I also have a checkered reputation. Ppl don't care for me. I'm sure you can tell. I'm a facetious bitch but I'm very patient, giving, and fair. And I'm a good necromancy & necrosophy instructor. The students I've had are satisfied though one had to go fully back to her mom duties. Another student excelled so much, she didn't need the rest of my teachings, but she's welcome back anytime she wants. Other students graduated and moved on to be successful Necro-Workers.
We are few & far between, but those of us who work the Necro Arts are honest, capable people. We're the little folks in the shadows that pray to elevate the souls of muertos, comfort them when they're in anguish, feed them with water & light & food too. Necromancy & necrosophy aren't about asking the muertos random questions and being **spooky** on Halloween. Woooo!
**This field should be respected but I don't expect it.** Those who really work with muertos don't ask for people's regard, opinions OR help. We realize that most ppl *DO NOT* care about the dead (yes, dead) - just bury & forget, right?
I'm done. Hope someone gets something out of this ramble. Don't go round thinking I have this huge ego, cos I don't. It's average.
Memento Mori!

Bittersweet Aftertastes
Hey gamers - its me with chapter 5 of the Varigo Coffee Shop AU. Yet again, thank you for all the support Iâve received on this - now, on with the chapter!
TW - Strong Language
Word Count - 3858
------------------------------------------------
Consoling the boy in front of him was...not an easy task to say the least, endless streams of tears leaving his eyes which broke Hugoâs heart each time one rolled down his now-red face, flushed from crying. He just wanted to scoop Varian up and take him away from all of this - to be alone with him where they didnât have to worry about anything else. Obviously that wasnât an option, but that didnât stop him from silently pleading to the universe for it to become one.
Hugo threaded his fingers through the smaller boyâs hair, letting them sit on the floor of his hallway in each otherâs embrace and kissing his forehead as he soothed him. He whispered sweet nothings to him to provide the boy with some sense of comfort as the storm inside him brewed. Sobs died down into pathetic little whimpers, akin to a wounded animal or a kicked puppy, and tears stopped making little puddles in his shirt.
âFeeling better?â Hugo enquired, leaning back slightly to allow himself to see the pained boyâs face. Blotched cheeks met him, eyes swollen from his extensive crying and his bottom lip quivering as he nodded, moving closer to Hugo again as they stood and walked down the hall towards the living room. Carefully, Hugo sat Varian down on the fern green couch before kissing his forehead yet again and moving back. âIâll be right back, okay?â Hugo muttered, waiting for Varianâs nod of approval before he turned on his heel and exited the room.
In only a few strides, he arrived in the kitchen again, immediately striding over to a moss-green cabinet beside his stove, crouching and opening it. Taking out two cups, a sapphire one and an, of course, jade one, before setting them aside and starting the coffee machine. Searching the various other cabinets and cupboards around the cramped room rewarded him with some vanilla syrup (some that he TOTALLY didnât buy just in case Varian came over, no way) before sauntering back over to the discarded cups. He distracted himself by setting the cups under the machine and letting them fill, sitting down on the counter and scrolling through his phone in silence. Looking up, his eyes glossed over the boy in the living room, who sat staring at the floor with a troubled expression on his face.
Hugo pushed down the feelings of guilt building in his stomach as he turned back to the coffee machine, sliding off the counter and adding the syrup along with one teaspoon of brown sugar into the sapphire mug. âWhat happened in the car?â he pondered as he stirred the dark liquid in the cup, pouring in the milk deep in thought. What did Varianâs brother have against him? At least, he thought it was his brother, the brunette man bore no physical resemblance to Varian at all and looked far too young to be the father, let alone the father of a nineteen year old. Nevertheless, it didnât explain his...for lack of a better word, explosive reaction to the pair. Hugo thought back, but no, he couldnât remember a point in time where heâd potentially robbed the guy - heâd remember a face as unique as that. Shit, he thought as he stopped stirring, drops of coffee dribbling down his hand. âVERY smart, Hugo..â he groaned as he grabbed some tissue to clean his hand with, picking up the two cups and strolling to the kitchen.
âHey V, Iâve got your drink.â he said softly, placing it on the table in front of the boy and taking a seat beside him. The boy only gave a soft smile in response, picking up the cup and taking a sip. He hummed in satisfaction, taking the time to shuffle closer to the blonde and cuddle against him, muttering a barely audible âthank youâ as Hugoâs arm snaked around his shoulders to pull him closer to him. He looked so helpless. He didnât deserve to feel that way whatsoever. Hugo felt his heart ache. âYou wanna talk about it now? Itâs fine if not, I justâŚthought it might help you I guess?â
He cursed to himself mentally. Why was he so bad at comforting people? Why was he so awkward? Why couldnât he just...be normal and not stutter and stammer through each sentence when he was around the other boy, who had now set his cup aside and cuddled against him further before clearing his throat. âDonât feel pressured to, Varian. I was just-â
âNo, Hugo. Iâm ready to talk. You deserve to know everything.â he uttered, cutting Hugo off. His eyes, filled with guilt, had a sadness behind them while he sat with his shoulder slumped. Defeated was the only word that came to mind as Varian let out a sigh, proceeding with his explanation.
âHe said that youâre a criminal and that youâll never change. I donât believe that thought. At all. You see, Eugene used to be like that - a criminal who went by the alias Flynn Rider. He was a petty thief - pickpocketing and all that jazz. Until he decided to steal from the mayor. Cue Rapunzel. She convinced her dad not to hurt him, and she promised she could help him get on the right side of the tracks. And he did! He turned his life around - he even joined the Coronan police force with Lance and helped improve the rehabilitation of criminals in jails in positive ways!  She helped him become better, but it just frustrated me about what he said because...â he let out a frustrated groan, slumping back on the couch and tugged his hair.
âHeâs not the only one with a dark past.â Varian added, clear as day. Confusion washed over Hugoâs face as he looked at Varianâs darkened, deathly serious expression. What else was he hiding? Of course he didnât want to push him too far, but now...his interest had peaked and his curiosity got the better of him as he waited for the rest of the explanation.
âWhen I was fourteen, I hurt my dad really badly. So badly, in fact, that he went into a coma. By that point, my mother had left and I had no one to turn to. So I ran, in the middle of a snowstorm mind you, to the mayorâs house. I begged and begged for help, for someone to listen to me, or to give me some money to be able to afford a good hospital for my dad to recover in! But no one did. I felt tossed aside, so I did what any kid my age would do. I turned to crime to try and raise money for my dadâs hospital bills. I was desperate. And thatâs when I met Andrew.â Another lengthy pause.
âIâd sell drugs for his gang, the Saporians, and theyâd give me a cut of the money so that when dad finally did wake up, weâd be just fine financially. Then they wanted me to rob a cottage. I really really didnât want to, but...the thought of seeing my dad again made me. But I got caught by Rapunzel, the mayorâs daughter. If she wanted to, she couldâve just called the cops on me and gotten me arrested. But she didnât.â
âShe told me all about the night I begged her for help and that she desperately wanted to, but there were citizens severely in danger because of the snowstorm, and she had to help them before she could help me. From there, she forgave me. She forgave me for trying to rob her and all my other crimes. I helped her to take down the Saporian gang - as it turns out, they were planning to attack the city..and she helped fund my fatherâs hospital funds. Hell, she even let me stay with her while I was waiting for him to get better. And he did. I got my dad back and everything went back to normal.â
âMy point is...Eugeneâs being a hypocrite. He knows me and him did some bad stuff - but we changed. And I know you can.I just hope you donât..think differently of meâ He commented, the expression on his face solemn as he looked at Hugo. Hugo sat, lost for words, as he stared at the boy in front of him. Wow. That was...a lot of emotional baggage that was just unpacked. Not that it was a problem - in fact, Varian talking about his feelings was FAR better than him keeping them in but..wow.
âVarian.â he began, taking the younger boyâs hands in his own. âI donât care who you were before, I care who you are now. So what if you were a criminal? So was I. I grew up on the streets after my parents abandoned me at birth. It was hard, but I had to do it to survive. Then Donella took me in and showed me a different way to make money - using my engineering skills to take commissions and make machines for people and sell them.â He paused for a second, realising he was rambling. âWhat i mean to say is...I love you, Varian. Regardless of who you were before. I love you.â Shakily, he stopped and their eyes locked, anxiety building in his stomach as Varianâs eyes studied his face in silence. âIâm sorry if Iâm moving too fast with this-fuck,I should go-â
His words were cut off as the younger boy lunged forward, wrapping his arms round the blondeâs neck and knocking him back onto the sofa. Their lips met in an admittedly sloppy kiss, neither of them really caring as Hugoâs hand drifted to rest on Varianâs waist. They settled into the kiss, heads tilting and eyes remaining shut as their lips moved against each other in perfect harmony, with the only sound they could hear being each otherâs heartbeats as their chests pressed against each other and the occasional breathy moan escaping from either boyâs mouth.
Varian was the one to break the kiss, sitting in Hugoâs lap with a wide grin plastered on his face as he stared down at the older male with the utmost affection in his eyes. âI love you too, Hugo. I love you so much-god, it feels so good to finally say that. I love you, I love you, I love you.â He kept repeating, giving time for Hugo to prop himself up on his elbows and lean in for another kiss - this one being far superior to the amateur one prior. It was slow, sweet and gave Hugo plenty of time to savour the taste of vanilla that lingered on Varianâs lips.
Hugo, eventually managing to pry Varian off his lap with very little struggling from the other, picked the teen up in his arms and trailed fleeting kisses down his neck and across his collarbone as they stumbled to his room, the soft moans Varian let out not helping Hugoâs ability to focus in the slightest. Despite all odds, they got there and Hugo immediately got to work. Laying Varian down, he hovered over him and proceeded to kiss him senseless, pulling back to observe the swollen lips and scarlet blush over his face that heâd grown so accustomed to seeing. He loved it. He loved everything about this boy - the name Varian now synonymous with perfection in his mind. Alas, he was exhausted and didnât want to push the other too far after the absolute rollercoaster today was.
âAs much as I would love to take this further, and believe me, I would, Iâm exhausted and want my eight hour beauty sleep, thank you very much.â he stated as he lay down beside Varian, pulling him close by his waist and into a tight embrace.
âYeah, you sure as hell need it.â Varian added snarkily, cackling as Hugo began to tickle him. âNO! Ah-Fuck! Iâm sorry! Just stop!â he yelled between fits of laughter as he curled up into a ball against the man beside him. Hugo relented, his arm moving around the raven haired teen as he rested his head on his chest after pulling the green bed covers over them both. âGoodnight Hugo..I love you.â he whispered, his eyes fluttering shut as he drifted off to sleep.
Hugo took a second to admire the boy, the same lovestruck smile creeping its way onto his face yet again. He was so stunning no matter what he did. Hugo couldnât get enough of him - his greed proving useful for once in his life. A sigh of happiness left his lips as he placed a gentle kiss on the sleeping boyâs forehead. âI love you too, Varian. Goodnight, my dear.â
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Varianâs eyes opened in the morning, the first thing that registered in his brain was the unusually large amount of sunlight bleeding in through the window. As he grew accustomed to this invasive light, he realised. He wasnât in his room. It was too green, and the lack of a particular fatass cat just proved his point further.
The second thing that registered was the sound of humming heading closer and closer to the door. The door swung open and in stepped Hugo, carrying a small tray with two plates stacked with blueberry pancakes, two cups and a bottle of syrup. His hair wasnât tied up yet, the golden locks sitting a few inches above his shoulders and concealing that dumb undercut. (Heâd claimed it was a âpinnacle of fashionâ that Varian wouldnât understand considering how his outfit on that day was, in his words, âa fashion crime worthy of a life sentenceâ, however Varian begged to differ.)
âHey beautiful. Hope youâre okay with blueberry pancakes. Theyâre the only breakfast food I can cook, and as a poor college student, I canât afford a toaster, so these were the only option.â He elaborated as he placed the tray on a desk pressed against a wall. A desk with a silver cage on, housing a tiny, gold furred mouse. Hugo sauntered over with Varianâs plate and cup, handing it to him.
âWow, your rat matches you.â he commented, a smug grin on his face as he shuffled up into a seating position to take a sip from his coffee. He set it aside on the bedside table and dug into his pancakes, moaning as he took his first bite. âHoly shit Hugo, where did you learn to cook like this? Itâs perfect!â
âDarling, I was blessed with impeccable culinary skills from birth. Isnât that right, Livi?â he glanced over at the mouse, who let out a little squeak as he sat on the bed beside Varian, placing a kiss to his temple before beginning to eat. âHer nameâs Olivia. The mouse, I mean. Iâve had her for a few months, but sheâs a darling.â he explained as he began to eat his pancakes, letting his boyfriend cuddle against him. Hugo bit his lip gently as his eyes caught sight of the purple bruises across Varianâs neck and collarbone, his cheeks gaining a deep red tint to them.
âMakes sense. Also, you wanna explain the weird obsession with green? I swear, the amount of green Iâve seen here..you could have your own episode of My Strange Addiction!â he laughed before his gaze met Hugoâs now-solemn expression. âShit, Hugh Iâm sorry if I upset you, I didnât-â
âItâs fine. First off, I have an aesthetic to uphold and Iâm not giving it up for anything. And..well, where I grew up..it was called Pittsford. Worst place in the world. Very economically divided. It uh..I grew up in the poor part of town, which was all just mines and vendors. All of the parks and greenery were in the higher class parts..parts we werenât allowed in as âfilthy, lower-class peasantsâ. As soon as me and Donella moved here, there was so much green everywhere...so much grass and so many trees...I couldnât get enough! I fell in love with the color, hence why itâs everywhere. I just donât want to not see it again.â he finished, glancing over at Varian. âSob story, right? Sorry for bringing down the mood.â
Varian smiled sadly, reaching up to turn his boyfriendâs head in his direction. âI think itâs a cute quirk. Iâll be sure to wear more green.â He stated, defining every word before placing a soft, loving kiss to Hugoâs lips, cupping his cheek.
âOh no you donât! Green is my color!â Hugo declared as he leaned down, pushing his boyfriend back against the pillows and peppering kisses all over his face before proceeding to kiss his lips again. Slowly but surely, it got more intense between them, with Hugoâs hands moving to slide up Varianâs shirt and fingers danced across the skin beneath it before Varian broke the kiss. âWe should-â he tried to catch his breath, panting and breathing heavily, âwe should take this slower, okay?â
âFine by me, hairstripe!â he smiled, removing his hands and standing. He gathered some clothes from his closet. âDonât mind me, Iâm going to have a shower, alright?â he asked, watching as Varian nodded.
âHey Hugo?â Varian spoke, Hugo with one foot out the door as he turned on his heel to look at the boy in his bed. He looked adorable with bedhead. Hugo should invite him to stay the night more often, he noted. âDoes uh..does this make us boyfriends?â
Hugo shrugged. âI donât mind. Do you want us to be?â He asked, Varian immediately replying with a frantic nod of approval. With a wicked grin, Hugo strode over and lowered himself onto one knee. âOkay then, Varian Ruddiger! Would you do me the pleasure of becoming my boyfriend?â He proclaimed, taking Varianâs hands in his own.
âYouâre such a dork.â The other replied, though the smile on his face spoke volumes to what he was truly thinking about the scene in front of him. âBut yes, I shall become your boyfriend, Hugo Atkinson. Now go enjoy your shower! You need it!â
Hugo shoved Varian as he laughed hysterically and gathered his clothes in his arms again. He took one last look at the teen before he strolled down to the bathroom across the hall. He ran the water and leaned back against the door, resting his hand over his mouth to hide his ridiculously wide smile. Wow. Varian was his boyfriend. Varian Ruddiger was his boyfriend. He couldnât help the bubbly feeling that took over his body as he trailed his hand through his hair. He really was the luckiest guy in the world.
Varian let out a little giggle and fell back against the pillows again, stunned into silence. He really was dating the biggest nerd in the world, huh? And the best thing was..he couldnât be happier. Everything was looking up for him - thanks to his and Eugeneâs argument, him and the boy he loved were finally together.
He swung his legs over the bed to find heâd slept in the same clothes he wore yesterday, cringing slightly. No wonder he was so uncomfortable. There was no way he was borrowing Hugoâs clothes either - those things would dwarf him if he even attempted to wear them. That thought didnât stop him, however, from sneakily taking a green hoodie from the closet, the Corona High symbol on the arm. He pulled it on and walked through the apartment.
Despite how small it was, he loved the place. It was so Hugo - every inch of it felt exactly like his boyfriend had decorated it. Huh, boyfriend. The thought made the corners of his lips twitch up in a ghost of a smile. It sounded right - like it was meant to be used to describe Hugo and only Hugo. However, one thing that shocked him was the significant lack of pictures. The only thing that came close were framed movie posters, the rest being newspaper headlines and neon green sticky notes which, upon closer inspection, had questions on various topics about engineering. Heâd have to buy him some frames and take more pictures when they went out - that way Hugo would have more to hang on the walls.
His eyes passed over the shelves against the wall, filled to the brim with books on engineering, chemistry, physics and biology. He took one out and skimmed through the pages. They seemed very outdated and old - so most likely a hand-me-down. Maybe they were from that Donella woman he kept bringing up? Anyhow, he slid the book back into place on the shelf and continued his journey down the hall to the living room.
As he passed a mirror in the hallway, he caught sight of purple bruises littered around his neck and collarbones. Oh my god, Eugene was going to kill him-
 Oh shit.
 Eugene.
He dashed into the living room and searched frantically for his phone, finding it on the glass coffee table alongside the coffee cups theyâd discarded last night in favour of more..engaging activities. He picked it up and checked the home screen. Thirteen missed calls from Eugene, ten from Rapunzel. He was in trouble next time he saw them, he thought.
âV?â Hugoâs voice called through the apartment as he entered the room, his eyebrow raised as he tied his hair back. âYou alright there, dollface?â he asked, walking to his boyfriend and wrapping his arms around his waist from behind. âAre you okay?â He enquired yet again, placing a gentle kiss to the junction between Varianâs collarbone and neck.
âHugh, weâre in trouble.â He said simply, showing Hugo the screen. The other boyâs eyes widened and he stepped back. âShit, V.â he chewed his bottom lip in thought before slumping onto the couch. âI uh...how about you send them the address and...and we can all try and talk it out?â he reasoned.
Varian gulped and pressed âCallâ under Rapunzelâs contact, joining his boyfriend on the sofa and letting himself be pulled into yet another embrace by the taller male. It rang. One...two..three times before a frantic voice came through on the other end.
âVarian Ruddiger, we have been worried SICK about you!â she declared through the phone, the boy in question pulling the device away from his ear slightly and wincing. âWhere are you? Are you okay? Please tell me youâre safe-â
âRapunzel, Iâm fine. I just...I need to talk to you. And Eugene. At Hugoâs apartment. Iâll send through the address just...please. I need you to hear us out. To hear me out.â he sighed and leant back against him, his head resting on the other teenâs chest who proceeded to play with his hair.
A long silence came from the other end of the phone before a sigh came through. âOkay.â she said, finally, âSend it through and weâll be there as soon as possible. I love you, Varian.â
âI love you too, Rapunzel.â He said softly, hanging up and sending the address of Hugoâs apartment to his sister, letting out a breath he didnât even realise heâd been holding in. Now all that was left to do was wait, he thought as Hugo held him in his arms.
God, he hoped this went well.

Too Much Blues
Gotta be honest, no idea what this is. I wanted to write, I put on some music and did some jumping around Spotify, and now here this is. Iâve been writing for like three hours and it somehow got dark around me, idk when that happened.Â
Not sure if this really qualifies as angst? It isnât happy, but it isnât like overwhelmingly sad for Eugene or Snafu either. Yâall will have to let me know I guess.Â
Title is from the song by James Booker which I have linked there on his name because I recently discovered him, and he is absolutely wonderful, and deserves more people listening to his music. After you read this, give him a listen. Heâs Freddie levels of amazing piano playing, and sings so strongly it transports you. I canât believe I didnât know of him until now, and I wish I had sooner.Â
My love to all who read/like/reblog!
The taste of blood on his tongue wasnât unfamiliar, but it was unwelcome.Â
The alley he was laying in wasnât cold, thanks to the August heat, but it was wet. Rain poured, sluicing off of the rooftops as fast as it could fall from the clouds.Â
He wouldnât admit that this had been a bad idea though. Not yet. It would have to get a lot worse for that.Â
Eugene had thought it was a bad idea from the start.Â
âYou canât win the money we need by gambling. The math doesnât pan out-âÂ
âIâm lucky,â Snafu had told him, accompanying it with a kiss. âI can win us a thousand dollars, easy. Give me the weekend in New Orleans, let me hit up the old haunts, and Iâll have it. I promise.âÂ
âAt least let me go with you,â Eugene had begged as he had watched him pack. âFor safetyâs sake.âÂ
âI used to live there, Gene. The city isnât any more unsafe than anywhere else anyway. Besides what else are we gonna do?âÂ
Eugene hadnât had an answer for that, and neither did Snafu for that matter. It was purely bad luck and bad timing, that two of the cats had needed the vet, that Eugene had busted his arm trying to help repair part of the roof after a particularly bad hailstorm fucked it all the way up, that another storm had hit after that and done such damage that they had to hire someone to come fix it up instead of trying to do it themselves, that the break in Eugeneâs arm wasnât healing well and required more visits to the doctor than previously expected.Â
The first thousand theyâd raised by selling off things from the house, one by one, first to the pawn shop in town, then by driving out of town to the pawn shops of neighboring towns until they had enough. Their house was slightly more bare (and missing some furniture) but it was worth it. Neither of them wanted to beg help from Eugeneâs parents, or Sid and Mary. Not their debts, not their problem, was the agreed upon mantra.Â
But the pawn shops didnât want any more of their things, and to pay off the thousand now would drain their accounts.Â
And Snafu had always enjoyed gambling.Â
It wasnât that he hadnât anticipated this. You could get jumped in any city in the country, for any reason, he figured.Â
This time, however, he wasnât sure what the reason was. Heâd lost more than heâd won, and the few hundred he had on him was still all present and accounted for. Theyâd beaten him to a pulp, and run, and that was that.
âJust bad luck,â he mumbled as he stood and staggered out of the alley.Â
People traipsed past him without a care, some drunk, others just deep in conversation with those they walked beside, or taking in the scenery. The city had never chewed them up and spat them back out like it had him. Maybe other cities had, and this was their safe place.Â
It had been his, once. And he wanted to believe it still was.Â
But it was difficult, bloody and bruised, the rain seemingly never-ending as he finally dropped to the curb and sat. And he was tired. It had been hours finding any game he could, in any place he could, trying to win as much as possible. No booze like he might have had normally, this was too important not to stay sharp.Â
But even that hadnât done it. It was nearly Sunday morning, and Eugene would be expecting him back by Sunday night. It didnât seem enough time, not nearly enough time.Â
âYou need a rest,â the man who had stopped in front of him said it not as a question, but as a fact. He wore a sharp suit, and looked just as tired as Snafu.Â
âDonât we all?âÂ
The man nodded. âI know a restful place.âÂ
He let the man help him up, and tried not to slow him as they made their way down the road to the nearest bar.Â
âNeeds some cleaning up,â the man said to the bartender, who nodded and came out from behind the bar with a rag and a small first aid kit.Â
âI can pay you,â Snafu said, even though it hurt to say. Any money gone was less to bring home to Eugene, and he already could barely bear how little he would be bringing.Â
âNah,â the man replied. âHow about a story instead?âÂ
âWhat about?âÂ
âAnything,â the man replied, watching as the bartender cleaned the cuts on Snafuâs face. âLotta rings on them, hm?âÂ
Snafu winced at the antiseptic, and nodded. âWhat little I got to see of them before...well.âÂ
âGot everything you had before they took you down?âÂ
âYeah,â Snafu replied. âThankfully.âÂ
âHow long you been away?âÂ
Snafu sighed. âToo long, maybe. I live in Alabama now, with my hu-âÂ
It came so naturally to say back at home, where he knew he was mostly safe, but he bit his tongue now, and held his breath as he watched the manâs reaction.Â
âYour husband,â the man finished. âOkay. And you came back to town because...âÂ
âWe need money,â Snafu admitted. âI was gonna win it for us. Some cards, whatever else I could find, you know.âÂ
âJust see whatâs going on for the night, what you start winning at,â the man agreed. âYou win all you need?âÂ
Snafu scoffed, and nodded his thanks to the bartender as he finished up. âI wish. Six hundred and some I got, but I need a thousand. Iâve got the rest of tonight, and most of tomorrow to get the last four hundred.âÂ
âSon,â the man said. âItâs already four in the morning on Sunday. How much luck you think youâre gonna find before you have to head home?âÂ
âNot enough,â Snafu muttered. âI canât go back to him with just this.âÂ
The man nodded. âHow well can you play?âÂ
âPlay what?â
âPiano. I can tell by your hands, those fingers.âÂ
Snafu shrugged. He had been given lessons as a child, but hadnât made much effort to keep up with them the older he got. And war didnât exactly lend itself well to piano practice, what with no drops of pianos on the islands in the Pacific.Â
âIâve got to run and play at church myself,â the man said. âBut my grandmother is at home, too sick in bed to go. She wants nothing more than to hear some of the music Iâd be playing. If you can do even a song or two, it would mean the world. And Iâll give you that last four hundred.âÂ
He smirked. âFour hundred dollars to play piano for someone I donât know? Pull the other one.âÂ
âNot at all,â the man said. âI give you my word, and my name.âÂ
âYour name?âÂ
âNames are power,â the man replied. âCall me Jim. You?âÂ
âSnafu.âÂ
Jim grinned. âThat ainât your real name, but Jim ainât my real name either, so fair enough. Come on then, and Iâll take you to her. Play for the next few hours, and the money is yours.âÂ
Jim led out of the bar with only a wave to the bartender, who seemed nonplussed by all of it, and called them a cab. It drove them from the Quarter to Metairie quickly, to a small white house with blue trim.Â
Jim didnât introduce him to the elderly woman who was tucked into the small twin bed in the living room, only said a few words to her, and gestured Snafu to the piano near it, then left.Â
He settled onto the bench, and let his fingers rest uncertainly on the keys.Â
âCan you play me something about losing?â the womanâs voice was soft, but scratched with the effort of being brought forth.Â
âI know about losing,â Snafu murmured, and patted the wad of bills in his pocket before starting in on St. Jameâs Infirmary Blues. It was one of the few songs he could remember well, though it certainly didnât fit the bill of a âchurch song.â âThough you wanted something from your church though? Thatâs what Jim told me.âÂ
âJim? Is that what heâs having you call him? Well, he is a sweetheart, but he doesnât need to know what I have you play,â the woman replied. âI like this one.âÂ
It wasnât a particularly long song, but he let his fingers play on the keys, adding into it, until she hummed discontentedly.Â
âWhat else do you know?âÂ
âMore blues?â Snafu winced. âMostly remember what folks around here play, what I heard before I left, what I heard now walkinâ the streets. Think I could replicate some of it-âÂ
âDonât talk it over till it falls apart,â the woman interrupted gently. âJust play. I trust you.âÂ
He searched his mind for the chords, the melodies, letting them fall into place, then playing about with them. He didnât worry about perfectly matching what he could recall in his head; she hummed happily each time he did his own variations.Â
There was a clock on the wall, but he paid it no mind, until Jim came back inside.Â
He motioned for Snafu to continue playing, then stepped up to the bed, kneeling down to the woman.Â
âThank you,â he said softly. âSheâs smiling. How she always wanted to go.âÂ
Snafu stopped short, and nearly tripped running out from behind the piano. âIs she-âÂ
âShe kept telling us it would be today, and sheâs not often wrong about anything,â Jim chuckled. âThank you for your kindness, and your help. If I couldnât be here, Iâm glad you could be.âÂ
âYou donât know me,â Snafu couldnât help but murmur.Â
âYouâre a son of the city, and I bet you had a grandmother sweet as mine that you once played for.âÂ
âSomething like that,â Snafu said, and pushed the memories back down.Â
âThatâs enough. Donât need to know everything about someone to be kind to them, to do the most basic human act of creating something to make them happy, to ease them in a time of suffering. And I knew you could and would do that for her.âÂ
Jim handed him a bundle of bills. âCount it if you like; I donât blame you if you do. But itâs all there. Four hundred, plus an extra hundred in case you run into trouble on the way home.âÂ
Snafu took the bundle with shaking hands. âThank you. Is there...âÂ
âYouâve done everything we needed you to,â Jim interrupted, a soft and sad smile on his face. âYou get home to your husband, and take care of your debts. Be well. Maybe weâll find each other again, should you come back. Bring your husband this time, and weâll all share a drink.âÂ
âYou sound so certain that Iâll be back,â Snafu said.Â
âBecause you will be,â Jim said matter-of-factly. âA visit to one home, from another. Because the city is always home to you, even if you forget that once you go. But places never forget the children that grew up in their streets. Their pain and their happiness and their sadness. Sheâll remember this particular sadness, and the pain you met here this time. And be ready to comfort you to make up for it, the next time you come home.âÂ
He left the house, and found a cab waiting for him outside. The ride to the train station was a bit longer than the ride to the house had been, and he considered using it to count the bills Jim had given him.Â
But he didnât. Somehow, in his gut, he knew there was no need.Â
He didnât on the train ride back either. Instead, he slept, the most he had slept since getting to New Orleans.Â
At the station, he called Eugene.Â
âIâve got enough. More than enough.âÂ
He hung up before Eugene could ask any questions, and settled onto a bench outside the station to wait for him.Â
The taste of blood on his tongue, as he chewed at his lower lip anxiously, was not unfamiliar, or unwelcome.Â
The iron tasted like life, whatever remained of his, of Eugeneâs.Â
He wondered if there would be music at the end, for them.Â

*Authorâs note*

Iâm looking forward to seeing him as the villain of the next Bond film as well as the final season of his series Mr. Robot.
Now not really any warnings just nothing but PURE, UNADULTERATED FLUFF with our beloved Rami Malek :) hope you all enjoy this :)

Telling Rami:
Two lines. I canât believe this. Two lines equals pregnant. Â And it wasnât just for one pregnancy test, I went ahead and took three. Â Cause I knew sometimes pregnancy tests can sometimes give a false positive so I went ahead and got three and shockingly all three said the same thing in the end.
I was sitting on mine and Ramiâs hotel bed trying to calm myself down before I had a panic attack. Â Thatâs when the door opened and I heard my dear friend Joeyâs voice say.
âYo Rami, Ben, Gwil and I are going out forâŚ..(Y/n)?â
âJoey.â I whispered softly. Â He ran up to me and knelt down in front of me.
âHey, whatâs going on squirt? Hmm? Whyâre you crying?â he said as he stroked the side of my face. Â See I had known Joey ever since we were 5 years old. Â Our moms were best friends in college and when my mom moved us across to a new house, she finally reunited with her best friend and it was only fitting that I got along with the Mazzello children.
As Joe became a famed child actor, I got interested in some of the behind the scenes stuff like makeup and hair. Â So by the time I graduated college, I got involved in some movie roles doing hair and makeup and thatâs where I reunited with Joey in set of Wooly boys as an assistant makeup artist at the time.
We rekindled our lost times and heâs been like the âtwinâ brother Iâve ever had (technically I was born the day after he was but we say screw the facts weâre twins in diapers).
After getting more experience I reunited with Joey being his main makeup artist for his role as Eugene Sledge in âThe Pacificâ and thatâs where I had met the love of my life, Rami Malek. Â From day one Joey had shipped us together and played matchmaker for us. Â Then finally by the end of filming, Rami and I started going steady until finally we made it official.
So with my two boys at my side I could never go wrong. Â At least until today.
âPromise me you wonât get mad.â
âThat depends. Did someone say something to you? Cause if they did then I swear to god IâllâŚâŚâ
âNo, no Joey nobody said anything. ItâsâŚ..â I trailed off.
âHey, you know you can tell me anything, right?â I nodded as he wrapped an arm around me. âSo câmon baby twin. Tell me why youâre crying? If you donât Iâm gonna bring out the tickle monster.â
âOkay, okay Iâll talk just please. Donât bring that out. Weâre in our 30âs Joey why must you resort to childish ways when you donât get your way?â
âUhh have you not been with me since our diaper years? Did you just meet me? Just because weâre in our 30âs doesnât mean we have to stop pretending to be an adult. I mean is there an age limit to when I have to behave an adult?â
I rolled my eyes at him and he grinned at me playfully nudging me with his shoulder.
âSo câmon out with it babe.â
âItâsâŚ..better if you just look in the bathroom.â
âWhy the bathroom?â
âPlease Joey justâŚ.look on the counter and youâll see.â He stood up and went to the bathroom.  It was probably three seconds I heard the thundering of his feet racing back towards me.
His eyes were full blown wide and he was gaped in shock.
âYouâyouâreâŚ..are you?â
âYes.â
âPlease tell me itâs Ramiâs.â
âOf course it is dipshit who else have I been sleeping with for the past 10 years?â
âOkay, okay no need to get your pregnant hormones in a twist miss feisty pants.â He knelt back down in front of me and he continued, âBut congrats Iâm so happy for you two.â He hugged me and thatâs when I said.
âBut we canât have it now.â
âWhat do you mean?â
âI meanâRami doesnât deserve to have the stress of dealing with me being pregnant and dealing with the next two of the biggest award shows to come. You guys got the Golden globes in three days and then the Oscars in a few weeks. Ramiâs already under a lot of stress as it is. Adding a baby into the mix itâIâm worried he wonât be able to take it. And our relationship will be over.â
âHey, you listen to me sis alright. Rami loves you to pieces. Heâs never wanted anything more than your approval and love. If he were to ever turn you away just because of thisâthen Gwil, Ben and I will freely beat the fucking shit out of him. And you know theyâll back me up.â
âYeah cause you guys have got the weird love triangle going on.â
âItâs not my fault they both want me.â He teased. Â I scowled at him and he raised his hands up in defeat once more as he said, âSorry, sorry getting off track. What Iâm trying to say is that I believe Ramiâs gonna still be right there with you. Hell heâs even talked to us on our guy nights out of how much heâs wanted to be a dad and have kids with you.â
âHeâs said that?â
âIf Iâm lying Iâm crying out velociraptor.â He gently wiped a tear away from my cheek and he said. âBut you gotta talk to him. If word gets out to the press first and he finds out that way, itâll completely blow this whole thing out of proportion.â
âOh god I canât even imagine what that would be like if someone found out and leaked it out to the media before I had told Rami. Heâd think I was selling out our private life just for kicks.â
âSo how about this; either before or after the Globes you tell him. And I can be your backup in case things get out of hand, which I know they wonât.â Â I hugged Joe and said as I buried my face into his shoulder.
âThanks Joey, youâre the best non-blood twin a girl could ask for.â
âWe may not be related by blood but Iâll always be there for you baby sister.â
âI was born one day after you.â
âStill makes you the baby out of the two of us.â
Soon enough within three days the Globes finally arrived. Â I was getting the final preparations of my makeup done when I felt arms wrap around my waist. Â I smiled and said.
âHey you.â
âYou look beautiful.â Rami said as he leaned his head against mine, his nose pressed to my temple.
âWell you look quite dapper yourself Mr. Malek.â I said as I straightened his tie. He smiled softly and kissed my temple.
âHow did I ever get so lucky to have you?â he whispered.
âBelieve me, if anyoneâs lucky itâs me. Plus you can thank Joe for that.â
âYeah but letâs not give him the satisfaction.â He teased. Â I playfully shoved him.
âSo, you ready to go?â
âYeah the carâs already downstairs waiting for us.â I grabbed my satchel bag and he held out his arm for me to take. Â I wrapped my arm through his and we headed towards the elevator and headed outside to the car.
The driver drove us onward to the Beverly Hilton and the second we arrived, there was already an audience, crowds of press and paparazzi, as well as hundreds of other actors, directors, film makers, etc.
âYou ready babe?â
âReady.â I exhaled. Â The second Rami stepped out, I could already hear the crowd cheering out my boyfriendâs name. Â He reached inside for my hand and I placed it in his and he helped me out. Â It was the usual from then on, pose for pictures, go to interviews and then meet up with Joe, Gwil, Ben, Lucy and Alan.
As the night went on the award show began and after a really bad joke said by one of the hostâs about Freddie to which I lowered my head and prayed for forgiveness I began to feel a bit queasy.
So when they just went to commercial, I tried to drink some water but the urge to just vomit was too much.
â(Y/n)? Baby you okay?â
âIâll be right back Rami.â I then raced as fast as I could towards the nearest restroom, I didnât even care about shutting the door, I just collapsed to the ground and dove right over the toilet and puked as much as I could. âOh god!â I groaned.
I spat a couple times before shakily getting back onto my feet. Â I flushed all that I had eaten down the drain and headed over to the sink. Â I rinsed my mouth out and cleaned my face up a bit. Â Taking a couple of deep breaths trying to calm myself down and thatâs when I heard a knock and a voice I did not expect to hear.
â(Y/n)? Are you okay love?â oh shit it canât be him. Â I took one final deep breath and peeked outside to see Brian May.
âBrian what are youâwhat are you doing here?â
âWell you raced out in such a hurry I got concerned.â See ever since filming, Iâve looked up to Brian as a sort of role model/father figure. Â See my parents went through a pretty nasty divorce and it really affected me.
Especially when my dad said that he wanted to have his freedom and not have to deal with me anymore. Â So when I heard my first Queen song, âSomeday, one dayâ and heard Brianâs voice, it was an instant comfort to me.
And when Rami and Joe got involved with the movie and I actually got the chance to meet Brian and Roger, Brian was such a sweet man to me and we just sorta had that father-daughter connection kinda right away. Â Crazy right? But it happened.
âIâmâIâm fine Brian justâŚ..probably had a sudden attack of the stomach flu I guess. Or probably had some bad soup.â He cupped my face and felt my forehead.
âYou donât seem to be running a fever. Are you sure youâre alright?â I strained out a smile and nodded.
âYeah.â He looked at me skeptically.
âOkay wellâŚ.if youâre sure. But if you need to go back to the hotel room, I can take you back.â
âThanks Bri. I promise Iâll justâstay away from the soup. And thanks for coming to check on me Brian.â
âNo problem love.â He said as he gingerly stroked my cheek. Â I smiled but suddenly felt the urge to puke again.
âExcuse me.â I immediately shut the door and went to the closest toilet and began dry heaving.
â(Y/n)? (Y/n) love are you sure youâre okay?â I spat and felt myself shuddering along the bathroom floor. Â I then heard the door open and in came Brian. Â I was about to rant at him telling him this was the ladies room but he cupped both sides of my face and just looked at me. âAlright, you canât stay here. Câmon Iâll take you back to your hotel.â
âNo, no, no. Ramiâs award is about to come on. I have to be there for him!â I whined drowsily.
âHeâll understand. Your health is more important than some silly award show. Now come on, up we go.â He helped me stand up but thanks to my heels and wobbly legs, I nearly tripped over. âHere letâs get these things off.â He helped me get them off which decreased my size by 4in. and then we headed outside.
He rung up an uber and also texted Roger to tell Rami that I wasnât feeling so good. When we piled in the uber, I shuddered suddenly feeling clammy and cold. Â I felt Brianâs overcoat being placed over me.
âThank you.â I whispered out in a hoarse voice. Â He smiled softly and nodded.
When we got to the hotel, he helped me up to my room and got me situated into bed. He placed down some of Ramiâs sweatpants and a t-shirt down beside me and he said.
âYou can change into those once I leave.â I nodded as he stroked some hair out of my face. Â All was silent for a brief moment till he suddenly spoke, âSo when will you tell him?â immediately I looked at him wide-eyed.
âYouâyou know?â
âIâve had three kids in the past, and my ex-wife Chrissie had extremely bad morning sickness, especially when my girls were born. Sometimes she was sick all day.â I sighed. Â Guess I shouldâve known better than to think I could hide this from him.
âI swear if morning sickness is like this I never want to have another kid after this.â He softly chuckled.
âBut Iâd say congratulations are in order.â
âI wouldnât say that.â I muttered.
âJoe did mention this to me the other day.â
âHe told you!?â I exclaimed.
âI sorta made him tell me. Iâve been noticing something off about you since yesterday. So donât immediately blame him.â I shook my head as I buried it into my pillow.
âBut how am I gonna tell him? Is he ready for such a responsibility? Am I? I donât think Iâm ready to be a mom.â
âHey, listen to me love. You are ready. Youâre smart, caring, beautiful, and have such a kind heart. I mean youâve already had practice with Joe right?â I snorted out a laugh, remembering all the stories I told of me and Joey growing up together.
âIn a way. But I know Joey wonât die if I make a mistake.â
âYouâre not going to kill your baby. You already have that maternal instincts about you. I canât put me finger on it but I just knew from day one that if you and Rami ever made it that far, youâd both make the best parents. Like Deacy and Veronica.â
âYou really think so?â
âAbsolutely.â He said as he stroked my cheek.
âWhy couldnât you have been my real dad?â he softly laughed and said as he stroked my cheek with his thumb.
âBelieve me I wouldnât mind having another daughter like you. But Iâm happy being a surrogate father to you.â He added softly as he kissed my forehead. Â His hand migrated from my cheek to my hair and with the gentle pets, it made me feel more relaxed. âWant me to turn on the telly to the awards so that you can still see him win?â
I nodded and he graciously turned on the TV and switched it to the golden globes. It was on a commercial break right now and thatâs when Brian went up and walked towards the kitchen and I heard the fridge open then shut.
âHere, drink this.â He came back holding a water bottle in his hands.
âIâd feel more happy with a ginger ale.â
âI know you would, but right now you need to get hydrated. Plus sugar drinks are good during morning sicknesses.â
âWhat if I end up upchucking the water?â
âThen just take little sips.â He held the water out to me and I took it. Â I unscrewed the cap and gently took a small sip just like Brian suggested and he placed a trashcan by my bedside just in case I did puke so that way I wouldnât risk running to the bathroom and not making it.
The show came back on and they were just about to announce Best leading actor. Â I waited with baited-breath as Brian lay beside me as all the actors names were spoken aloud.
âCâmon baby, câmon.â I muttered.
âAnd the Golden globe goes toâŚ..â Julianne Moore spoke as she opened up the envelope. âRami Malek.â At that I was crying tears of joy.  Rami stood up and hugged Graham King the producer then Roger and Anita before going up on stage.
âGod I wish I was there with him.â
âHe knows youâre giving your love and support right now love.â Brian assured me. As Rami gave his speech, I wiped away the tears pouring down my face and I blew a kiss right at him even though I knew he couldnât see it.
As the night went on, soon coming into the room was Rami with his Golden globe in hand.
âAnd there he is, first time Golden globe winner.â Brian praised.
âThanks Brian.â He said as he set it down and the two men of my life hugged each other. When he finally looked towards me, I smiled up at him and I said.
âCongrats baby. You deserved it.â
âYeah, how you feeling?â he asked me fully concerned as he came and sat down beside me.
âA bit better. Briâs been taking care of me.â He thanked the rock legend again who merely waved it off modestly.
âIt was no trouble. Iâll leave her to you now. Itâs getting pretty late and I better head back home. Sleep well you two, and well done again Rami.â
âThanks Brian, drive safe.â Brian bid us a final farewell before leaving our hotel room. He turned back towards me and he said, âReady to get out of that dress?â
âBout damn time too. This thing is so not comfortable to even lay in.â I sat up and he helped unzipped it and slowly removed the strap, but not before sneaking in a few quick yet seductive kisses along my shoulder. Â I moaned.
âRami.â
âAlright love, dress first. Fool around later.â I playfully rolled my eyes at him and he helped me out of the dress and grabbed the sweatpants and t-shirt Brian had set down for me. Â Afterwards he lay down beside me and allowed me to rest my head on his chest.
âAll thatâs left is the Oscars.â
âYou think so?â
âI know so.â I looked up at him and he smiled down at me before capturing my lips with his.
Thank god I had rinsed my mouth out with mouthwash an hour ago, he slowly rolled me onto my back so that he was now hovering over me. Â His tongue dancing with mine as I felt him tuck his hand underneath myâwell his shirt and touch my stomach. Â My eyes opened up suddenly and I separated from the kiss.
âRami wait. Wait stop.â His eyes that were once filled with lust, now turned concerned as he said.
âWhat is it? Are you sick again?â
âNo, no butâIâŚâŚâ I trailed off and turned away from him.  He lay down in front of me so that I could look at him.
âHey, whatever it is you can tell me. Whatâs going on in that big brain of yours?â
âYouâyou know how I said that I mightâve had food poisoning earlier tonight?â he nodded. âWell I liedâŚ..IâveâŚ.actually known what it was for three days now.â
âWhat is it? YouâŚ..youâre not dying are you?â he choked out the word dying heartbrokenly.
âNo, no itâs nothing like that. IâŚ..Iâm pregnant.â His face gaped like a fish and his eyes seemed to grow wider.
âYâyouâreâŚ..â
âI understand if youâre not ready. I can justâŚ.we can just break it off if you want. Iâll be able to take it.â I began to ramble on until I felt Rami cup my face in his hands and he said.
âWhoa, whoa, whoa, whoa baby girl slow down. Whoâwhat made you think Iâd ever break up with you because of this?â
âYouâreâyouâre finally getting the recognition you deserve. All these award shows, the premiere we went to back in London in November. The last season for Mr. Robot and your James Bon role opportunity, I justâfeared that with how youâre life is going youâwouldnât have time for a baby. Or me.â
â(Y/n)âŚ..that is far from the truth. Listen to me; the day I first met you all the way back during The Pacific, I knew from the moment I saw you, you were the one for me. You were the love of my life, and I never wanted to spend it with anyone else. And now youâveâŚ..â he placed his hand to my stomach and continued, âNow youâve given me something extra special. A little portion of myself and a big portion from you.â
âI think the baby will look like you more.â I chuckled softly. He softly laughed and said.
âNow, I believe she will be as beautiful as her mother.â
âShe?â
âIt could happen.â I shook my head at him.
âSo youâreally want to be a dad?â
âYeah of course. I love kids. And I want them with you. I know weâre gonna make some mistakes, but I believe we can make it work. We have practiced with Joe before.â I shook my head at him again.
âHeâd be so pissed if he finds out weâve been comparing him to a child.â
âCâmon his literally the definition of man-child.â
âI wonât deny that.â He pulled me close and I felt him kiss my forehead, down my nose giving it a teasing peck before gently kissing me on the lips. âI love you Rami Malek.â
âI love you (y/n) (l/n). Both of you.â He spoke softly as he placed his hand right over my stomach once again.
Baby reveal/proposal:
After all the award shows were over and 4 months had passed, Rami and I were putting the final touches to the baby reveal party that we were hosting at his momâs place.
We invited the entire cast of BoRhap, and weâd have Brian, Roger and Adam on facetime to be apart of the experience since we wanted to time the reveal for them.
âEverything all set?â I asked.
âYep, Sami and mom are finishing up the baseball smoke.â Said Rami.
âGreat. Joe just texted me heâs on their way from picking up Lucy, Alan, Gwil and Ben at the airport. Should be here in about 40-45min.â
âGood thing I asked Joe to bring in his Yankee jersey.â
âYou know if the powder damages his jersey heâll kill you, right?â
âIf he does then I know youâll give the position of godfather to the other two.â I chuckled and wrapped my arms around him and the two of us kissed. Â He then as always, knelt down and kissed my stomach and talked to my stomach. âHello my beautiful princess.â
âHow many times do I have to tell you, itâs gonna be a mini-you. A mini-Egyptian prince.â
âNo itâll be a sweet princess just like her mommy. Isnât that right Cleo?â I rolled my eyes at him and pulled him back up and we kissed each other once again before he wrapped an arm around my waist and we walked off to finish prepping the backyard.
By the time everyone arrived, the party started to get into full swing. Â I was with Rami about the position of godfather when he looked down at his phone to see that it was time.
âHoney, its time.â I then took out the I-Pad and called up Brian on facetime. While he gathered everyone, I waited for him, Rog and Adam to appear on screen. Â When it finally answered al three of them appeared on screen.
âHey there she is!â exclaimed Adam.
âHey Adam, Rog, Brian. Hope I didnât catch you three at a bad time.â
âActually youâre right on time. We just got done with the show in Montreal.â Said Roger.
âAhh thatâs good. Okay so you guys ready?â they nodded. âOkay hey Gwil can you take the I-Pad so that Queen and Adam can see the show?
âYeah Iâve got you.â He took the I-pad and I stood with Rami at the center of everyone.
âOkay first of all weâd like to say thank you to all whoâve taken the time to come here, and to those who are far away to see this magical moment.â Rami said.
âSo the way weâre gonna do this is an alternate way to the football reveal.â I held up the baseball and said, âJoe may you please step forward?â
âYou bet I will.â He exclaimed excitedly as Sami handed him a bat.
âNow weâd like for our former athlete Ben to step up.â Said Rami. Â Ben set his beer down and I handed him the baseball. âInside this baseball lies the gender reveal for our baby. Ben pitch the ball to Joe.â
âI think Iâd be better if Ben Cardy was here. He can pitch a better ball than this guy.â Joe teased.
âHaha very funny Joe.â Ben sassed. Â Rami and I stepped back and Ben and Joe stepped forward. Â Joe was already in pitcher position with the bat ready. Â If I didnât know any better Iâd say he was channeling his inner Pat Murray.
âJust donât strike out Joey otherwise thisâll be a waste of time.â I teased him.
âShut it baby twin!â Joey exclaimed. Â Ben tossed the ball up and down a few times before finally making the pitch. Â Joey then hit the ball with the bat and soon exploding was blue smoke.
âITâS A BOY!!!â I exclaimed which made everyone cheer. Â Rami hugged his mom and brother while I hugged his mom and sister. Joe who was covered in blue smoke at this point, took off his Yankees hat and tried to pat the powder away.
âRami owes me a new jersey.â
âIâll get you one for your birthday. Thanks for helping us out Joey.â
âAnytime sis. And congrats on the little guy in there.â He said placing his hands on my stomach. Â âHope you know this means Iâm teaching him everything I know about baseball and taking him to every Yankees game.â
âI wouldnât expect anything less, especially since youâre the official godfather.â He looked at my flabbergasted.
âAreâyou serious?â
âYeah I meanâweâve known each other since we were in diapers, who better to take care of my son than you. Maybe he can help you grow up too.â He suddenly hugged me tightly and spun me around.
âHey Joe might wanna set my love down before you put her in a very early premature birth.â We heard Rami say. Â He set me down and began apologizing profusely but I waved it off telling him it was alright. âI also have another announcement to make.â Rami proclaimed.
At this rate I was confused. Â I turned to Joe who was merely grinning at me and gently pushed me towards Rami. Â He came up to me and took my hand and he said.
â(Y/n); itâit feels like an eternity ago when the two of us first met. But IâI knew from the moment I first met you, that I wanted no one else. Youâve stuck by me through thick and thin, and youâre the love of my life.â He then got down on one knee and took out from his pocket a black velvet ring box. Â
I covered my mouth as he opened up the box to reveal a beautiful large diamond engagement ring.
âRamiâŚ..â he looked at me expectantly.  I felt tears form in my eyes and I couldnât help but say Lucyâs quote from the movie from when Freddie had proposed to Mary. âWhich finger do I put this on?â he chuckled softly.
âWedding finger. Will you marry me?â I nodded. Â He shuddered but then gestured for me to verbally say it much like he did in the movie.
âYes!â He smiled and stood up and captured my lips with his as our friends and family cheered. Â After we separated, Rami teased.
âAre you going to leave it in the box?â I giggled and took it out and placed it on my left ring finger.
âOh Rami itâs beautiful. I love it.â He took my hand and cupped his fingers around the ring as he said.
âPromise me you wonât take it off.â
âI promise.â
âNo matter what.â
âI love you Rami, youâre going to do such great things.â
âWeâre going to do great things. Starting with this little guy in five months.â
âSo do I get bragging rights for being right?â
âYes, Iâll gladly take the heat. Little traitor.â He muttered the last part towards my stomach. Â I playfully shoved him and thatâs when Gwil came up with the I-pad.
âAlright girl let me get a close up look of that ring!â Adam proclaimed. Â I giggled and showed my hand up to the screen. âOhh yas girl youâve got a rock! Perfect fitting for a queen such as yourself.â
âThanks Adam. And thank you guys for be a part of this.â I said.
âYou both deserve it. Congrats on the baby and keep us updated.â Brian said to me.
âI will.â
âAnd Rami, you better look after this girl for me. As her surrogate father I have the right to beat your arse if you fuck this up.â
âBrian!â I yelled at him embarrassedly. Â Rami chuckled and said.
âNo worries Brian. Iâve taken care of this girl for over 11 years, I wouldnât dream of letting her go this time around.â
âYou better, because Bri wonât be the only one ready to beat someone if things blow up to hell.â Said Roger.
âMake that three.â Stated Adam.
âOh my god you three are awful!â I exclaimed which caused all of them to laugh softly. âOkay weâll let you three go. Weâll see you all when youâre come to Madison Square Garden.â
âSounds good to us love, Iâll make sure to send you some backstage passes.â
âThanks Bri.â I blew them a kiss. âBye guys, see you in 2 months.â
âSee you then love.â They waved bye to me and I hung up on facetime. Â Rami and I smiled lovingly at each other and he leaned his forehead against mine.
âI love you so much. Both of you.â
âI love you too Rami. And our little guy loves you too. I bet he canât wait to meet you.â
âI canât wait to meet him either.â
The birth:
I was watching from behind the camera as Rami was reading âThe Empty potâ as part of the Storyline online. Â Seeing him read this story, that was close to him when he was a child, made me think of all the future stories that he would tell our little boy in just three weeksâ time.
I smiled as I felt a gently kick to my lower abdomen. Â As he continued to read on, I got so many visions of seeing Rami read to our son every night before bedtime. Â He just had that warm voice that fit the perfect storyteller.
By the end of it all, he came up to me and we gently kissed each other.
âDid our little man enjoy story time?â he asked me as he placed his hands on my stomach. At his statement he felt a kick, we both chuckled and I said.
âHe wouldnât stop kicking throughout the entire time his daddy was reading the story.â
âWell Iâll read a thousand stories if itâll keep him happy.â I smiled and kissed his cheek and nuzzled against his shoulder.
That night as I was getting ready for bed in the bathroom. Â Removing my makeup and brushing my teeth, plus make one final trip to the toilet before finally settling down for the night. Â Rami already lying on his side of the bed, just stared at me as I opened the bathroom door.
âWhat?â
âHow beautiful you are.â He praised. Â I smiled at him and walked over to the bed and he immediately sat up and gently wrapped his arm protectively around my stomach. Â âI love you both so much.â
âWe love you too.â I felt him kiss my temple, down to my cheek, quickly pecked my shoulder before finally placing a kiss to my stomach. Â He then nuzzled his head at the junction where my neck met my shoulder and soon the two of us fell asleep.
As the night went on, I began feeling this sudden surge of pain plus a wetness between my legs. Â At first I thought I mightâve had an accident but when I became ware of the sudden pain that hit me like a hammer to the head, I groaned.
âRamiâŚâŚRami wake up!â he groaned but sat up and he said.
âWhat is it?â
âIâI think my water just broke.â He quickly turned on the lights and he said.
âAre-are-are-are you sure?â I then let out a scream of agony and said.
âOh yeah definitely contractions! Oh god AHHHHH!!!!â
âOkay, okay relax calm down okay. Iâll go get the bag and Iâll get us to the hospital. Just do your breathing exercises that we learned okay?â He helped me up and I began to breathe while he quickly put on a shirt and some sweats as well as grabbing the bag from the closet. âArenât you glad I convinced you to pack a bag early?â
âNot the time Rami!â I snapped.
âRight, right sorry. Come on love itâll be okay.â We went out to the car and Rami drove us straight to the hospital while he got in touch with his mom as well as Joe.
After what felt like hours of pure torture, we finally arrived at the hospital and thankfully Joe was already there to help out.
âHow you doing?â he asked me. Â I glared at him and he said. âRight bad question.â
âMrs. (Y/n) Malek?â a nurse came in.
âWeâre here.â
âOkay well you werenât supposed to be in till another three weeks.â
âWell the baby decided on now. And Iâm pretty sure he gets to choose!â I growled out.
âOkay well we have our private delivery room all set up and arranged, we can take you there now.â Another nurse came in with a wheelchair and both Joe and Rami helped me into the chair and I was wheeled out.
God never did I have to go through anything so agonizing. Â I donât know who the fuck to blame for women suffering during labor but whoever it is, damn you bitch to hell and back. Â I even demanded that Rami never seduce me into having sex ever again after this. Â But in the end it all payed off.
For after 10hrs of labor, in my arms I now held my son. Our son.
Rami and I were in the recovery room just looking down at our precious 7lb. 12 oz. 22in long baby boy.
âI canât believe heâs finally here.â
âI know. I told you, resembled his father to a T. Our little prince.â
âBut weânever got to pick out a name.â
âActually I did, during the Oscars. There was only one name that I wanted to name our son if we ended up having a boy, to which we did.â
âWhat is it?â I looked up at him and I said.
âHow do you feel about Freddie Mercury Malek?â he was stunned. Â He looked down at our boy before looking back up to me.
âThatâs perfect. IâI think he wouldâve loved that.â
âI believe so too. I wish we couldâve gotten the chance to meet him face to face.â
âYou and me both my love.â We then heard a knock at the door and thatâs when Joe peeked in.
âHey hope this isnât a bad time but, the guys want to facetime us.â Rami gestured for him to come in and thatâs when Joe answered his phone and I heard Gwil and Benâs voice saying hello.
âJoe told us you had gone into labor (n/n), how you doing?â asked Gwil.
âExhausted but Iâll be better soon. Hope we didnât interrupt you guys at a bad time.â
âNot at all (y/n), we were just having a little vacation together.â Ben said.
âTo which by the way I am not jealous of you two right now.â Joe pointed out.
âSure.â Dragged out Ben.
âWhatever helps you sleep at night Joe.â Mocked Gwil. Â I rolled my eyes playfully at them. Â God those three and their bizarre love triangle.
âAlright you three, no arguing in front of the baby.â Rami lectured.
âYes Joe show us our little nephew.â Gwilym stated. Â He then adjusted his phone so that the rest of the âbandâ could see the newest addition of the family.
âAww my god!â cooed Ben.
âOhh heâs so beautiful.â Awed Gwil.
âHave you guys picked a name yet?â asked Joey.
âWell this lovely lady has had a name at the ready since the beginning.â Rami said, âGuys, weâd like you to meet our son. Freddie Mercury Malek.â At hearing our sonâs name, the guys went quiet for a moment.
âIt suits him.â Ben finally spoke after the long silence.
âI agree, hello little Freddie.â Gwil added.
âThe perfect name fitting the perfect newborn.â Said Joe.
âWell weâll leave you to rest. Congrats mate, you too (y/n). Get some well deserve rest.â Gwil told me.
âWill do, thanks for checking up on me guys.â
âHey youâre engaged to Rami and youâve dealt with Joe your whole life. That makes you apart of the band as anyone else.â Said Ben. We waved goodbye and when Joe placed his phone back in his jacket he kissed the top of my head.
âIâll go see get your mom and sister. Let them know their grandson/nephew has finally entered the world.â
âHey Joey before you leave, can you grab me my phone it should be in the bag.â
âSure thing.â He took my phone out of the bag and he handed me my phone. Â As I opened my contacts, he and Rami gave each other a brotherly hug and he stroked my sonâs head before placing a gentle kiss on top of his godsonâs head. âI canât wait till youâre big enough to catch a baseball champ. Youâll be just like your god papa Joey in no time.â
âSo by that you mean totally sucks at pitching and canât quite throw properly under pressure?â I teased. Â He looked up at me with that bitch face of his.
âYou are so lucky you just gave birth otherwise youâd be dead right now.â I stuck my tongue at him playfully and he went ahead and walked out.
âSo who are you calling?â
âItâs a long shot but Iâm gonna see if I can reach him.â I pressed facetime under Brianâs name. Â Rami took our son while I held my phone as it showed my picture. Â It rang for what felt like forever till finally I got an answer from the man himself.
âHey love.â
âHey sorry did I wake you up?â
âJust about to fall asleep after performing in Japan.â
âOh god Iâm sorry Brian I can call back later.â
âNo, no itâs fine. Is everything okay?â
âWell I just wanted you to meet someone.â I then pointed my phone at Rami and hit the switch button and as soon as he saw him holding our baby, he gasped.
âOh my godâyouâŚ.you had the baby already?â
âYeah.â
â10 hours in labor later and this gorgeous boy has finally entered the world.â Rami said.
âYouâre right he is mighty handsome. But I can see that it looks like he had his mumâs nose.â I chuckled softly and I said.
âHis name is Freddie Mercury Malek.â I switched the phone back towards me and after a moment of silence he answered.
âGod what Fred wouldâve said. Heâd be floored about this, but definitely in the positive way.â I smiled at him. âMy congratulations to you both, how you feeling love?â
âTired, a bit achy but Iâm just happy to have my son here at last.â
âI tell you thereâs nothing greater than getting the chance to hold your baby for the first time. Treasure it while it lasts, both of you. Because before you know it theyâll be grown up and running their own company.â
âWe will Brian.â Said Rami.
âIâll let you get back to sleep, again sorry to wake you up so late.â
âDonât worry about it. This was a good thing to be woken up too. Take care of yourselves and that boy of yours.â We smiled and bid Brian goodbye and he waved goodbye to us. Â I set my phone down and Rami handed me our little Freddie.
âYou know, this whole year has been crazy. Since the movie Iâve won practically every award for best actor for Freddie Mercury. But youâyouâve given me the greatest prize of all. Not only your answer of starting the next step in our relationship, but our child as well. Thank you for being and giving me my greatest award ever (y/n).â
âI could say the same to you Rami.â We kissed each other and just admired our child, born out of pure love and named after the most beloved man of all time.

With their friends helping Stan with the idea. At the end of the scavenger hunt, Jimmy finds Stan wearing a blue tuxedo with his signature Fannypack standing on the place where they first met.
Disclaimer: Itâs been months since i last write something. Hope itâs not too bad! ((Special thanks to @huffle-puff-ego and @missfeisty199 for the help))
Words: 2,668 words (Not including THIS and ABOVE)
âSunflower?â
    He asked as he opened his eyes. The bed was empty and cold, missing a certain person. His eyes wondered around the room he was in, and then he stumbled upon a yellow sticky note on the pillow next to him. He picked it up and already recognized the handwriting that it belongs to his love. He smiled and whispered to himself the words;
  âGood Morning, Friendly.
Thereâs breakfast ready for you in the kitchen!
 Drink plenty of water!
                              Love, Fannypackâ
He smiled and went towards their kitchen. He sat down and digs in the wonderful food his sunflower made for him, and of course drank plenty of water. After his stomach was full, he then noticed another yellow note sticking on the flower vase in front of him. It reads:
âA water a day keeps the thirst away!
I know youâre confused right now from allÂ
This notes but donât freak out! Iâm at the
 Hospital-â
He didnât even finish reading the note and quickly dressed up and went running out the apartment. He burst through the door scaring some people next to him. He apologized and ran to his car. Arms fiddling to unlock the car door while cursing out such colorful words. His heart beating fast and his mind thinking all the possible bad things that happened to his sunflower. Snapped out of it Jimmy! His fine.
When the engine is on, he quickly drove towards the hospital. Ignoring the red lights and cars that are honking on his fast driving. He could probably be pulled by a police by speeding but thatâs none of his concern at the moment. After what felt like an eternity, -when it was only 4 minutes thanks to his driving-, he finally arrived at the hospital. Bursting through the glass door, shocking some patients and nurses. Brenda, the receptionist, was on her place staring at what was happening. Trying her best to not full on laughing at Jimmyâs full on outburst. The man was yelling his sunflowerâs name to people asking where he is and running from A to B. Brenda, with her amusement quenched, called the man over. Not even a second later, his already in front of her.
âYou bitch! Whereâs Stan? You stole him from me did you!? Oh my fucking god! When I found him, Iâll kill you and-â
 âJimmy, chill. Your boyfriend is fine. But he told me to give you this.â  She then gave him a yellow sticky note. And it read;
âIâm sorry for scaring you! I didnât mean to give
You a heart attack! But remember all the times
We were put here and waited for each other?
 Fun memories, I say!
Iâm at the police station! And no I am not in trouble!
                         Love, Fannypackâ
He let out a sigh of relief. âSorry about my sudden outburst, Brenda.â He said embarrassingly. She rolled her eyes and nodded. Pointing at the door and said, âWhatever, just go get your man or somethingâ. Jimmyâs cheeks turn a slight shade of pink. His still not used to hearing someone pointed out that his in a full on relationship. His not thinking it in a bad way! Donât get him wrong, his so proud that as amazing and handsome as Stan is his boyfriend. Hell, every time he and Stan went out holding hands, theyâre not afraid to show it off.
He shook his head, stopping the voices in his head to write a long ass essay of his life. He put on the ignition and head out to the police station. He turned on the radio to engulf the silence and continue driving. When he finally arrived at the front of the police station, he turned off the ignition and step out the car. The blue haired man walked in the door and saw Lieutenant Ziggy on the counter. The policeman waved him over.
âHey Jimmy, what brings you here-â
âZiggy, shut up. I know Stan said something for me so just zip itâ He said and slammed his hands on the counter. The policeman sighed and gave him another yellow sticky note with the same handwriting. It said:
âTo be honest I have no idea why the next location is the police station.
Maybe because itâs the only thing Ziggy would work for me.
Anyway, Iâm at the place where we did the you know what.
The cabbage picking. The parmesan. The not so legal.
Okay! The first house we robbed together!
                           Love, Fannypackâ
âYou didnât read this, did you?â Jimmy asked nervously. The incident was so long ago but itâs still a crime. The police man chuckled and said, âEven if I did read it or not, Iâm not going to bust your ass. Just go and get your man before I change my mindâ. He didnât twice and went directly out the building. Went inside his car and drove the fuck out of there. The man let out a sigh and focuses on the roadway ahead. He noticed that the city is quite silent today, like nothing bad is happening. No cry for help, no ambulance sounds, and no police sirens heard. Itâs weird to have a peaceful day in Los Santos. Not that he mind, just weird.
He saw the house ahead and remembered the quite fun memories he and Stan had. Even though he almost traumatized Stan with him allegedly murdering the man who owns the house. Itâs fun. He saw someone on the sidewalk and it seems its Eugene and Edna. He parked in front of them and waved.
âFunny seeing you two here. Let me guess, Stan told you to wait here for me to arrive and give me a piece of noteâ Jimmy said to the two. âHell no, weâre here because a man who looked like Stan is dead inside the houseâ Eugene said with glee. Jimmyâs face turned pale and nervously laughed. Edna quickly punched Eugene, âEy! Donât scare the poor boy with your shit!â She then looked at Jimmy who is still at the state of shock and slapped him, waking him up. âHis just being his shitty self, Stanâs fine. Hereâ She gave jimmy the paper. âJust get out of here, I donât want any witness when I kill this bitchâ Eugene quickly ran away with Edna on his tail.
âMy first time doing something illegal! The adrenaline was
Something! Remember when I yelled âOh my godâ so many times
When you killed a man? Good times. Oh, and you almost selling me crack?
The friendliest crack dealer in Los Santos! Iâm at the place where we almost died!
                                -love Fannypackâ
He shivered at the thought of the memory. The time when they turned into hostages. He turned on the ignition and drove to Polido Bank. He turned on the radio to silence the long drive to the bank. To his surprise, he heard Kikiâs voice in the radio.
âGood Afternoon, you mothertruckers! Kiki Chanel in the house for your daily thirst quenching! Queue the applause..... I SAID QUEUE THE APPLAU- yayyyyyy. Okay, okay, okay. Before you get your daily bad choices of song, hereâs a special message from Jackie chan himself! He said and i quote with his voice; Better hurry up before this motherfucker is dead!â And here we have our special sponsors, Kikiâs KOC-â
He suddenly turned down the radio and pressed hard on the paddle, increasing the acceleration of his car. Moving from left to right, avoiding everything that is on his way. Praying that he wonât get pulled over. After what felt like an eternity with his heart beating fast, he can finally see the bank ahead with Buddha or Jackie chan leaning on the side of the bank. With him are two people with a monkey mask and a bandana covering itself. He pulled over and walked hastily to them.Â
âWhereâs Stan-â he was cut off with a gun on his forehead. The man who has the gun tsked and shook his head. The other two who is with him chuckled, making Jimmy nervous.
âRemember the time when you said they were boyfriends? And they denied?â The man with the monkey mask said to the bandana. He nodded and replied, âAnd now look at where we are now. The two supposedly not in a relationship are now lovebirds!â The bandana surprisingly shrieked in delight. Following the monkey and Jackie chan. Removing the gun off Jimmyâs forehead.
âWeâre just fucking with you, Velvet aurora!â Jimmy shivered at the name and corrected him with âFriendlyâ. Jackie Chan nodded and gave him the yellow note his been waiting for. Jimmy said his goodbyes and quickly walked towards his car. But not without hearing one of them say, âGo get that Water man D!â. Jimmyâs cheek reddened and drove off the bank. While driving, he swiftly read the note.Â
âThe time when my life flashes before my eyes! In a bad way, i say! Still grumpy about them not buying my water. Anyway, remember when you threatened me? Yeah Iâm there!Â
        -Love, Fannypackâ
He checked his watch and saw itâs almost past 4 Oâclock. He took off his sunglasses and started rubbing his forehead. âAll of this stress better be worth it, Stanâ He whispered to himself, but a small smile visible on his lips. He saw the familiar fence and the gate leading to the place where he âthreatenedâ Stan.Â
He gets out his car and walked down. He saw someone standing near the water, wearing a rather familiar outfit. A female police outfit and its pink hat.Â
âSup, bitchâ yep, thatâs kiki alright.
âWhy are you here? And how the fuck do you know this place?â Jimmy asked the gorgeous woman.Â
âWell nice to see you too, asshole! Such toxic masculinity. At least someone thinks Iâm gorgeous.â Kiki smirked at him. He rolled his eyes and put out his hand, gesturing for something them both already knew.Â
âYouâre no fun. Iâm planning on like putting it inside a bottle and throwing it in the water and you sacrificing your life to get it or somethingâ She said and simply shrugged at Jimmyâs shocked face.Â
âAnyway, out of all the places you, Stan, and I went to. Why this place?â Kiki asked. Jimmy shrugged and looked the other way, avoiding her eyes. âHow do i know?âÂ
She scoffed at his response and replied, âBecause youâre his boyfriend? I canât even believe Stan choose you over this bomb ass pussy! Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuâ Then started dancing seductively. Jimmy pretended to gag and vomit.Â
âHOOOWWWW DAAAAAARRREEEE YOUUUUUU- here, Iâm done with this toxicity of masculinity! This bomb ass pussy is out!â After she thrown the piece of paper to Jimmy, she sashayed away with her hips going left and right with her middle finger in the air. âDonât forget to use protection and lots of lube!â She yelled. Jimmy quickly grabbed the paper flowing in the air before it hit the wet ground. He fixed his posture and read it out loud;Â
âA place where weâre merely strangers
  Introducing Jimmy and Stan
 Never thought theyâll be lovers
The friendly crack dealer and the water man
   Where am i?
           -love, Fannypackâ
Jimmyâs chest felt so warm. The feeling is like when they first met. How such a middle aged man that is so naive and innocent ended up with a guy like him. He felt the tears coming up but quickly hold it. Itâs not time yet. He pocketed the paper, along with the others, and went to his car. Jimmy started heading to the place he never though a love story would start.Â
While his driving, he can see the sunset shining through him. Letting the final ray of sunshine warmth him. Remembering the time when he and Stan went out to eat burgers and watched the sunset together. It may not seem like a date but it is to him. Oh how he wished his brave enough to tell Stan his feelings that time. But that doesnât matter right now, because theyâre together and happy. Heâll get even happier when he finally sees his sunflower.Â
His nearing at the destination and can see what seems like a curtain blocking the parking lot? Is that legal?
He slowly parked near the destination and get out the car. He looked around, trying to find his love but no luck. He sighed and leaned on the side his car. He took out his cigarette and lighter, and was about to light it when he heard a very familiar voice.Â
âDidnât you promised youâll stop smoking?âÂ
Jimmyâs eyes widen and looked up. His cheeks reddened and mouth opened, letting the cigarette fall out his mouth. There in front of him shows Stan Wheeler, wearing a blue tuxedo with a matching blue fanny pack. Some black shorts and black fancy shoes. His blonde hair was gelled back making him look somewhat fancy. His hands behind him fidgeting a bit and his eyes looking around, avoiding Jimmyâs covered eyes. Perfect timing, the final sunrise set on Stan making him shine. Making him looked like a literal sunflower that is blue all over.Â
âUh-uhmm.. h-hi ji-jimmy...â Stan let out a genuine smile. Then suddenly the carpet behind Stan fall revealing such a beautiful sight. It was a beautiful sight when it got caught off by Stan screaming âGOD HELP! THE CARPET HAS DEVOURED MY EXISTENCE!!! HELPPPP!!â.Â
Jimmy chuckled at his clumsiness and helped him get out the carpet monster. -As that Stan called it-. Stanâs head is finally out, so does the rest of his body, and didnât realize that Jimmyâs face is so near his. Itâs so close that them both can feel each otherâs breath. Both men has their cheek blushing. Even after a year dating, these two still get flustered over each other.Â
Jimmy helped Stan up and looked back the beautiful sight. There was Christmas lights attached above lighting over a fancy table with food and of course water. An inflatable balloon on the background spelling âHappy 1st Anniversary Stimmy by Kiki and friendsâ.Â
âSo thatâs why all of them are both so cryptic and extra stupidâ Jimmy said to Stan. He nodded and gestured to the fancy table. They sat down and started talking about times theyâre together and being themselves to others. They can hear some locals walking passed them but Kiki threatening them out loud outshine it. With Ziggy and Brenda trying to stop her from killing someone, Eugene and Edna film the whole thing, and other of their friends laughing. It may looked like theyâre invading both of their privacy but without those people, none of this wouldâve happened.Â
âIâm so lucky to have them, and also you Jimmyâ Stan said.Â
âDonât be such a sap!â The water man giggled at his response. âOh! I almost forgot!â Stan then went under the table and let out a present.Â
âWait, I didnât get you anything!â Jimmy started panicking but Stan beat him to it and told him its fine. Stan gave the gift to Jimmy, whoâs still sulking over not giving him a gift. Jimmy slowly opened the wrapped gift and saw... a water bottle?Â
 âUhm, Stan?âÂ
âLook at the brand!â Stan said with excitement. Jimmy raised his eyebrows and looked down. It said, âFriendly Water!â.Â
âYou and I are now business partners for my water business!â Stan said with glee. âArenât I already am with me driving you all over town?â Stan shushed him and told him that itâs beside the point. Jimmy chuckled at his silliness and stared at him with so much love. His so lucky to have such a wonderful and handsome man like Stan.Â
âIâm so lucky to have you too Jimmyâ Jimmy laughed and realized he said it out loud. With the stars and moon shining above them, and the chaos happening around them cause by their friends. Nothing would ever ruin such a beautiful night.Â

Idiot
Part 2/2
Ronald Speirs x Medic!Reader
Synopsis:Â Ronald Speirs had always gotten on your nerves. Whether it be fighting the biggest person at the school or running through open fire on the battlefield. He was your best friend, but you hated him when he acted like such an idiot.
Catch Up: Part 1
A/N: here's part two to the Speirs imagine. I hope you enjoy. I'm also thinking about doing more multi-part imagines and start writing for other fandoms as well (GOT, BOB, Marvel, DC, Etc. So if you like those fandoms as well and enjoy my writing, you know where to find me! Kisses!)
You hated to forgive him, but the war was happening and there was no time for petty behavior. You sat next to Lipton in the church. Still angry at Ron but you knew you would be over it in at least a week. Even sooner if he apologized. Your head laid on Lips shoulder as you looked around you at all the men. Your legs rested across Lips lap and you were practically on his lap. You looked at Ron and saw he was staring at you. You didn't realize that it wasn't just because of the argument you two had hours earlier, it was where your head was laying. You turned your head up to look at Lip, you and him had always been close, you would even admit to the others and Eugene that you thought he was attractive. But Speirs had your heart. Always had it. Even though he was an idiot. He still made your heart race. "Lip" you whispered before sitting up more and facing him. He rested his hand on your thigh and hummed. Ron's eyes were practically burning into Lips hand as he glowered from across the room. "Where are we going next," you asked sweetly. You knew you weren't staying, despite what everyone thought, you knew better. Lip about answered but then Ron stood in front of you both, cutting him off. You looked up at him and rolled your eyes as you unswung your legs and stood up, walking over to Eugene. You didn't hear what Lipton and Ron talked of, but you hoped it wasn't about you.Â
Haguenau was quite busy. Lipton had fallen under the weather and you were trying your best to take care of him. âLuz can you get me a blanket please for Lipâ You called out to him as you entered the room with the medicine you needed. You felt his forehead and dropped down to one knee as you searched through your bag.Â
Luz came back and draped the blanket over him as Webster came in. You weren't really listening to what Web needed you just wanted to take care of the poor man. Ron came in and your fingers stopped moving for a second at his presence. You resumed by trying to listen to Liptons breathing through the stethoscope you managed to get from a drop. You were the only medic that had it, which made you even more special to them. Ron was talking to Lip about a mission that they were going to embark on and who they should choose. You had stopped listening to his breathing at this point and moved on to take his temperature, but he wouldn't sit still. âLip can you please sit stillâ you mumbled and he looked over to you and opened his mouth to retaliate but you shoved the thermometer into his mouth, silencing him. Ron rolled his eyes at you as you stood up shaking out the pills he needed. You looked up at the new Lieutenant as he interjected. âSir, permission to join the groupâ he stated proudly, you shook your head at his eagerness to go into danger and knew he was really new to this. You pulled out the thermometer so Lipton could speak and checked the temp. You nodded at it and handed him his pills.
âWell, there you goâ Lip whispered up to Ron, who just stared at the boy. âNoâ he stated firmly. Lip downed his pills and you ruffled his hair, âIâll be back in two hoursâ you commented before turning to leave. Ron was on your heels as you exited and passed the newbie. âHow dare heâ Ron hissed but you ignored him as you continued to walk cautiously through the streets. âDid you hear me-â He started grabbing your wrist. You whipped around and glared at him. âHow long are you going to be mad at meâ he snapped âUntil you apologize and stop acting like a childâ you growled and he just grabbed your face in his hands before you turned away. âYou know I cant-â but an explosion went off and he tackled you to the ground as another one blew off nearby. It all died down. âMEDICâ you scrambled up and ran towards the scream âY/N WAITâ Ron screamed chasing after you. You rounded the corner and saw a couple men huddled around a fallen man. You pushed through and dropped down to him, Eugene was next to you in a second as you tried to save the man that was hit by the debris. He was bleeding out too fast and by the time you even started to try and stop the bleeding, he stopped breathing. You stopped and stared down at him in angst. You threw the bandage you held onto the ground and Eugene tried to reassure you that it wasn't your fault, but you stood up and stormed away. Ron was following you as Eugene watched but took over to take care of the man they lost.Â
You slammed the door closed in Ronâs face as you threw your bag on the bed. He opened the door slowly and saw your face down on the bed. âGo away Ronaldâ you whispered softly but he didn't listen as he took his jacket off, leaving him in his t-shirt and pants, he kicked off his shoes and climbed onto the bed. His one arm was by your left side as his whole body was on your right. He laid down beside you. You didn't look up and he ran his hand through your hair. âYou couldn't have saved him Y/Nâ he whispered. âYou will never understand the pain I feel when I lose someone in my hands, Ronâ You finally whispered sadly. It was the first thing you said to him that wasn't laced with anger.Â
He sighed and you came out of the pillows that you were hiding in. He ran his finger down your cheek as your lip trembled. You were tired of losing men, you were tired of Ron risking his life so much, you were just tired and you wanted to be done. He cupped your cheek as the first tear fell, âMy loveâ he whispered and you just sat up finally, he watched you as you put your face into your hands, crying softly. He sat up and ran his hand across your back soothingly. âDon't touch meâ you snapped feeling angry all over again and he just sighed at you. You ripped your body away from his touch and stood up, pacing. âYou don't understand why I care so much about you Ronald. You don't understand why I'm mad at you and you never will. You don't care if you die and that's. Not. Fair. OKAY. BECAUSE THIS SADNESS THAT I FEEL WHEN I LOSE SOMEONE IN. MY. HANDS. BREAKS. MEâ You finally started yelling at him as your tears angrily streamed down your face harder than before. He just sat there on the bed silent and finally listening to you. He wouldn't argue about you being ridiculous, or how he had to do the things he did, because, in reality, you were right. He stood up slowly and crossed over to you. You weren't screaming anymore, just pacing and ranting about how this war has hurt you in ways you never wished to feel. And he just grabbed your shoulders, stopping you as you breathed heavily. He looked at you and you finally broke down. He pulled you into a hug when you let out a broken cry. You forgave him that night. Only because he was there when no one else was.Â
You were shipped to a town in Germany and you followed Ron around as he stole silver things. He went up the stairs and you were talking about something Liebgott did that you thought was funny. He knocked on a door and walked in, you followed him and stopped realizing that you two just walked in on a private and a German woman banging. âOh j-j-Jesusâ you stuttered as you turned around and raised your head to the ceiling. Ron was unfazed by it and simply asked where his stuff was. âRight there sirâ the private answered. Ron grabbed the silver and touched your back making you jump but move. âOh my God that was embarrassingâ you stuttered out red-faced. You walked outside and yanked Ron back just as the Jeep flew past. His metal plate hit the Jeep and let out a ding. He shook his head and started forward âanyway what did Liebgott say?â he tried to make you continue but you were way too flustered. You shook your head but followed him into the post office. âMore stuff to send homeâ he started âY/N!â you heard someone yell and you gripped onto Ronâs arm. âIâll see you later Ronâ you whispered before heading out. âWhat are you going to do with all of this sir?â The man stated as he moved all of the stuff over to the rest of the silver Ron collected.Â
Ron didn't say anything but only winked, âFinders Keepersâ he whispered. The man chuckled âThe silver or the girlâ he asked. Ron smirked wider and left without an answer.
âWhat are you going to do with that silver,â you asked as you two laid in bed. You both had a pass for the night and you spent it together. Just like old times. âSell it all, buy a nice big house, raise kids in it.â he started and you smiled softly as his dream. âIâm gonna buy a ring, the biggest diamond I can find and marry the girl that I have loved for as long as I can rememberâ that statement threw you as you crinkled your eyebrows in confusion. Sitting up you looked down at him. âAnd who is THE Ronald Speirs in love with,â You said amused, but it hid your breaking heart. He smiled up at you âI met her at schoolâ he whispered âShe was the prettiest woman I ever saw, and I've been head over heels for her ever sinceâ he stated sincerely. Your smile faltered, you never knew he was in love with someone at the school, not until now. âHave you ever talked to her?â you asked and he nodded âA littleâ he stated solidly âI'm hoping the size of the ring will get her to say yesâ he smirked. You nodded your head and laid back down, but your head was on the pillow instead of his chest. He noticed your distance but didn't interact. Because you didn't know, wouldn't hurt you.Â
You sat in the ditch looking at all the dead bodies in the camp. âY/Nâ you heard a soft voice call out and you wiped your nose turning to look at Speirs âYeahâ you answered and he just came over and sat by you, looking out at the bodies as well. âitâs not fairâ you sobbed out softly. He rubbed your arm and pulled you into him as you cried and cried and cried. Out of everything that you have seen, out of everyone that you lost, this was the hardest.Â
You walked up with Winters towards the eagle's nest. You saw Ron, drunk off his ass. He saw you and grabbed you, pulling you down to sit but you landed on his lap. âRonâ you started laughing as he gripped onto your hip with one hand and shoving the bottle into your hand. You readjusted on his lap and handed back the bottle. âOh come on love drink and be happy!â he commented sloppily moving his thigh making you wobble. âNo mister I am not getting drunk when I have to take care of you... as alwaysâ you teased and he just gripped your chin. You pulled away and stood to turn around before you even noticed his approach to kiss you. âCome on Ronnyâ you cooed grabbing his hand as he looked up at you defeatedly, âLet's go explore!â
You stood on the outside of the circle of men who were currently beating up the soldier who shot Sgt. Grants. The door opened and your head whipped over, you saw Ron but he didn't see you as you were behind a taller man. Ron stepped forward angrily and you feared him at that moment.Â
The soldier talked back to him and Ron brought his pistol up, whipping it across the man's face. You hissed in pain at the sighed and covered your mouth. âWhen you talk to an officer you say sirâ he snapped. You backed away from the crowd and turned to leave, not being able to watch it anymore. Ron followed angrily as you sunk down the wall outside. Hearing them resume you covered your ears. Why couldn't you just leave, that's all you wanted. Hands cupped your hands that covered your ears, you opened your eyes to see Ron as he pulled your hands away and pulled you up âCan we go for a walkâ he asked, practically begged. You nodded and the two of you went for a walk. Not necessarily for just you, but for the both of you.
You sat on the hood of the jeep with him, watching as the other men played baseball. You lived, you both lived. You hugged his side and smiled at them. âSo. You made it Ronnyâ you began, âYou gonna ask that girl out or just pop the questionâ. He smiled at you and reached into his pocket. âDo you think this ring will make her say yes?â he asked honestly as he pulled out a diamond ring that he bought with the money he made from the silver so far. You smiled softly at it and nodded your head at him âShe would be very lucky to have you Ronald Speirsâ you whispered hugging his arm. He nodded and took it out of the box, turning to you he smiled wider. âWell thenâ he started âI just have one thing to ask youâ he stated. You nodded at him âAnd what is thatâ you sweetly said, not knowing where this was going. But the next 4 words he would say, would change you forever. âWill you marry me?âÂ
You laid the baby down softly in the crib. Shushing her as she fussed a little. You stood back up and felt arms wrap around you. You jumped and felt Ron kiss your neck sweetly âSheâs perfectâ he whispered in your ear kissing it softly âAlmost as pretty as her mommyâ he purred. You turned and walked to the other crib âAnd heâs almost as handsome as his daddyâ you cooed as you caressed the twin boys cheek. You both wanted four kids but were happy that you were halfway done just by having twins. âI love youâ he whispered turning you around and kissing you deeply. You ran your hand through his hair and tugged at the ends. âAnd I love youâ you whispered back. âForever and alwaysâ he whispered.

If youâre interested in selling your home for cash, hereâs what you need to know.
Why should you sell your house for cash? There are several benefits to selling a home for cash. For one thing, it simplifies everything. Because there is no lender, you donât have to deal with the rigamarole of the loan approval process. Another benefit is that itâs much faster. Joe Horan, founder of Indianapolis-based Wrightwood Homes, says: âSince there are no lenders in the transaction, it cuts down on the timeline, as well as typical lender requirements such as buyer income and appraisals.â
Cash offers also have a smaller chance of falling through, since cash buyers have the full amount needed to buy the home upfront. If someone is relying on a loan to make the purchase, thereâs always a chance that their application will be denied. No financing means no purchase. Plus, you can usually sell your home as-is with a cash offer on the table. This means you donât have to worry about making repairs or staging it before listing.
Check on the value of your home: Cash buyers provide a variety of conveniences to sellers, including a shorter closing, increased level of certainty, and the option to sell âas isâ and save money on repairs. However, cash offers historically tend to be lower than financed offers. So while you can expect to receive somewhat of a discount on price â how much so will depend on market competition and the state of your home â you should get a ballpark idea of your homeâs current fair market value so you can recognize if youâre getting lowballed. While an online valuation wonât deliver the same level of accuracy of a professional appraisal or a real estate agentâs comparative market analysis, requesting one is quick â not to mention completely free. Our Home Value Estimator is a good place to start.
Consult with a top real estate agent: Â Maybe requesting a cash offer online right off the bat isnât your style. Youâd like an advisor to walk you through the process. No problem! You can also ask a knowledgeable real estate agent experienced with cash sales for a cash buyer recommendation. Many agents are active in their local investor community and have an inside track to finding cash buyers.
Review the price and terms of your offer: Â Evaluating a cash offer can be tricky. Thereâs no one-size-fits-all formula to calculate the strength of an offer. And there are other factors to weigh besides the amount of profit youâll make. Here are some key things to keep in mind when assessing an offer...That will depend on your situation â someone who is going through a foreclosure or who has a vacant house may value the speed and benefits of cash more than someone who just wants a bigger house,â Steinemann shares from his experience working with a variety of sellers. If your house needs work, he suggests taking the approximate value of updated houses in your area and subtracting what it would cost to get your house in that condition. Then deduct the commission, subtract the investor profit (usually 15%), and you will arrive at a fair price.

Customers anticipate that their realtor should discuss routinely with them, utilizing the forms(s) the customer likes (fax, telephone, message, email, or a mix of modes).
