I wish to be known completely. I wish not to be owned but cherished. Tell me you see me. I cover my mouth when I cry. Do you wish to know why? What is my favorite colour, not just the color but the shade? I didn't think I had one until I saw your eyes. Do you know the colour of mine?

Tell me why you love me, don't make me guess. The words in my head aren't the best. I want to bury my head in your chest. Let me lay here for a while. Hear the words rumble, spoken whispers that tell me you see me. Do you see me? Can you tell me?

I know I'm the writer not the written. But I wish I could make you so smitten that would change. I don't bite my nails anymore, but the habit is replaced. Study my face, what did I exchange? Is it selfish to want to be studied, looked upon with love?
