Why on earth always my favourite shows get screwed up every time?? Why??

So, if you haven't noticed as of yet already or even don't know what has happened, then after reading the below article, you will realise why I have put this question as a Title.

I cannot believe that, this is frequently happening to this very day.

So, one of the concept artist of Star Trek: Prodigy, Oliver Beck, just claimed that his artwork, which was shown in the S1E10, "A Moral Star: Part 2", was stolen by the makers of the upcoming Bollywood movie, 'Kalki 2898 AD', Vyjayanthi Movies, for their logo in the Trailer of the movie. This was happened after South Korean Artist, Sung Choi, claimed that his artwork was also stolen in the trailer, without their permissions or Giving them the credits.

Like, Seriously!! This Screwing up of ST: Prodigy is just unbearable. Like, C'mon!! First, The Money Mafias, just forced to cancel and wipe ST: Prodigy out of existence, until Netflix Saved it. Then, Lucasfilms and Disney, stole the plot of Star Trek: Prodigy into their upcoming Star Wars animated series, Skeleton Crew, and now This Art Theft by the upcoming Indian Movie!! They are thinking like, 'Star Trek: Prodigy' is no longer a Thing anymore rather than an open-source material, after what Nickelodeon and Paramount Canceled and tried to remove it.

And I am really sorry as an Indian Person. Because, ST: Prodigy don't deserve this to be like screwed up everytime. Bollywood has a history of stealing things that they stole and no one behind the scenes gives any credits to the original artists they stole from. Sometimes, I feel ashamed that this had happened. As I support Originality, I think it has to be said rather than just not tell anyone to obscurity. While I am insanely proud of my fellow Indian artists at Mikros Animation in Bangalore, who are involved in ST: Prodigy, I am equally ashamed that this happened. Also, the Emmy-award winning Art director of ST: Prodigy, Alessandro Taini, worked as a Concept Artist for Bollywood film, "Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva". If he knows what happens on Bollywood behind the scenes in reality, then he would be discouraged altogether. There should be a Global Law about Art Theft and Copyrights. Seriously!!

ST: Prodigy, as well as other good quality animated shows and movies, should not deserve to get art-theft like that.

And to Oliver Beck, and Sung Choi, on behalf of Indians, I am really really Sorry that this happened.

I hope that somehow, things will change for the better. I will try to contact Hageman Brothers and @aaronwaltke as well about this incident happened recently.

But this is the harsh reality of Animation as an Artistic Media we live in, ladies and gentlemen.

And I have nothing to say more.

So, I will see you on 1st July when S2 releases on Netflix. I am trying to renew Netflix ASAP. So, wish me luck.

We recently left Halshevar, and are nearly reaching Queenstone, the capital of Ayelbirn. Our party is Attempting to make it to Ilor- but it sounds like there’s a non-zero chance we’ll be detoured towards Vethnoac, the dragon kingdom.

(Our party guide, a young diplomat- Corvus, is wanted in Vethnoac for crimes of theft, deception, and murder 😬. Excited to see how we get him out of this mess, because at the moment there is Not a lot of leverage to work with.)

Absolutely fascinated by all the people who claim that AI and fanfiction are legally and conceptually indistinguishable, and advocating against one means advocating against the other. Can't tell if they actually think human work is inseparable from that created by machines or if they want us to believe they think that so they have an excuse to keep using AI to steal from living, breathing writers (including fanfic writers) and spew their endless garbage. I never want to find out.

This is supposed to be a vent but I turned my vent into a obey me mc angst idea :

Artist mc being so angry that an artwork made by AI won first place at colorado state fair because typing keywords in a good enough sequence isn’t art. the fact that AI could take away jobs from real artists or people in the creative fields is so scary.This infuriates mc so much that Satan turned into his demon form.

Welp, in light of recent events on Instagram, I'm going to be shifting my focus from posting my art there, to this blog and potentially some other alternatives.

For those unfamiliar; MetaAI has been trained on all public posts from FB and IG for a while now, and only just recently (a couple weeks?) updated their policies to include this. Suffice to say, I am livid. Artists have had their work used in AI training unknowingly, after using the platform for years. This is appalling and the last straw for me frankly. On top of this, they make it so difficult to request an opt-out, by requiring you to submit a screenshot of "proof."

So that said, screw that. Screw AI.

At least Tumblr just has you click a button to opt-out. 😤

Why Did You Hate AI Arts?, You Know? i'm Natural to AI Arts

I didn’t care about AI Art at first but then I learn it steal/use data from other artists to “create” an image. Also “writing words so an AI can make an image for you” isn’t the same as learning the artist’s craft. Drawing traditionally on paper, digitally with a PC or tablet, painting, etc. That’s why I’m Anti-AI. I’m not against technology evolution. Heck AI always existed in video games and I’m a huge gamer. I’m against something stealing works form peoples and allow other persons to sell said work. Now, if you are an AI artist since you write "i'm Natural to AI Arts", I won’t follow you anymore.

So is no one going to talk about how MandJTV used AI to make a pokemon region? You know, the thing that steals from artists, writers, animators, anyone with an ounce of creativity, and instead of making one himself (LIKE HE DID BEFORE WHEN WAS A KID) he just used AI to do it. I can't even imagine how many things it stole from, how many cool fakemon ideas, or stories, or just ideas in general that were stolen and spit out and became a souless husk. Mikey, I know you have the creativity in you to make one yourself. You used your arts to make an entire region, you designed your own pokemon, you created a fantastic storyline with Team Sky, but this? I looked up to you. I thought you were better. I was hesitant on you accepting a sponsorship about H*rry fuking P*tter, but now using AI to do this? It's just sad. Ai steals from so many people, and you're only feeding the AI. Anywho, fuck AI and you ai artists are not real artists. Pick up a pencil and learn how to draw/write

this is a common mistake made because ai art is not real

it does not exist!

it is closer to artificial machine learning images

it isn’t art because there’s no passion behind it so all it is is an image

it isn’t intelligent because it has no creativity just an program slotting together stolen puzzle pieces to mimic art to the prompt it’s given

A true ai we would be able to set it up infront of a art program and have it be able to draw something all on its own with real art tools

what we have today is not ai art

2023 vs 2017

I remember I loved the original piece for forever when I first drew it, but kinda left it alone for a while. Now all I look back and see are the anatomy mistakes (no references except for the hands) and wondering just what I was trying to do with thee squiggles and the end.

So I decided to remake it, with proper references and access to a better array of knowledge, plus more planets and glory things galore. And I am happy to see how far I’ve come.

Whatever anyone makes of AI art or writing, if you harass people who use it you are a dick.

If you say you're against harassment 'but 'except for people who deserve it' you are not in fact against harassment.

If you send any form of threats to people you are a massive dick and ruin any argument you're making that AI art is harmful because you are causing direct harm to someone.
