The first seasons of the third doctor are so funny. You have a show with an easy format: space man and earth girl time travel (or space travel) in box and they fight new quirky bad guys (or occasionally the same bad guy). Thinking about how I read both Jo March and Li Lianhua as aroace characters, and about the important message of crafting our own meaningful stories, and endings, on our own terms.
