Hello! Happy June! It's Pride and I have another question (6/30)

Okay, today we are back with flags, this time of the gender variety.

Agender: Created by Salem X ("Ska") in 2014 (Tumblr user formerly known as Transrants), this flag consists of 7 horizontal stripes [black, grey, white, green, white, grey, black] The black and white represent the absence of gender (in different ways), the grey represents semi-genderless and the light green represents non-binary gender.

Bigender: There are actually quite a lot of widely used bigender flags,(like more than you think), largely due to the original flag creator being accused of transphobia (among other things). So I have picked the probably second most common [after the original]. This one was created by camp-MLM on tumblr in 2019 and it has 7 stripes [Blue, light blue, white, lilac, white, light pink, pink], and the colours dont actually have a set meaning, with the original poster giving an idea of meaning, but leaving the majority of it up to each persons own feelings with their experience basically.

Demiboy, Demigirl, and Deminonbianry: These flags were designed by the same person Salem X, who also happens to be the person who designed the Agender Flag. All three flags consist of 7 horizontal stripes [Grey, Light Grey, Blue(boy)/Pink(girl)/Yellow(nonbinary), White, Blue/Pink/Yellow, Light Grey, and Grey] The pops of colour in the middle are to represent the aspects of either masculinity/feminity/nonbinary(-inity?) experienced by demigender people, while the greys are to represent the partial connection to gender.

Genderfluid: This flag was created by JJ Poole in 2012, and they designed it to "encompass all gender identities". It has 5 horizontal stripes. [Pink(Femininity), White(all genders), Purple(interlinking/crossover of femininity and masculinity), Black(lack of gender(s)), Blue(masculinity)]. However, in 2021, LGBTA wiki user "FruitIndividual" designed an alternative flag, and it is rapidly catching on, so you might see this one instead, it consists of 9 horizontal WAVY stripes (meant to represent the fluidity of this gender) [Colours Pink, Light Pink, White, Lilac, Purple, Lilac, White, Light Blue, Blue]

Genderqueer: This flag was designed in 2011 by Marilyn Roxie. The flag has 3 horizontal stripes. [Lavender(androgyny/meshing of masc and fem), White(Neutral), Chartreuse(Outside the binary)]

Non-Binary: Kye Rowan created this flag in 2014 to be flown alongside the genderqueer flag (NOT replace it). This flag has 4 horizontal stripes. [Yellow (Genders outside the binary), White (All/many genders), Purple (Genders which are a mix of masc and fem) and Black (Lack of gender)]

Transgender: Monica Helms designed this flag in 1999, and she said that the idea came to her early one morning; "When you wake up, and you're still sort of groggy and everything but you're starting to think, and your mind is starting to fill with images - that's when it came to me" and also called it "divine intervention". She brought the first trans flag to the 2000 Phoenix Pride Parade, and it is now in the possession of the Smithsonian. The flag consists of 5 horizontal stripes, [Blue, Pink, White, Pink, Blue], the pink and blue stand for girls and boys while the white represents thouse who are transitioning, intersex people and people who feel like they have no/neutral gender. A quote of hers i love about the design is "The pattern is such that no matter which way you fly it, it is always correct, signifying us finding correctness in our lives"

So, since we talked about gender pride flags today, im going to ask a slightly personal question (but it is vague on purpose, share as much or as little as you want), but please describe your gender WITHOUT using any traditional words, so for example, personally i would describe my gender as an out of body experience, like im witnessing my gender from below me in a hospital bed while i float aimlessly near the ceiling. <- have fun with it, use whatever comes to mind first, anything but traditional gender words please!

Flowering Plants vs Funky Little Guys

Magnoliophyta: flowering plants! Also known as angiosperms. Where to begin? There are so many plants in this phylum. Not just every single flower, but also if you enjoy eating it, drinking it, or smoking it, it's probably in this taxon.

Anthocerotophyta: hornworts! Where to begin? They're closely related to mosses and liverworts, and like them have rhyzoids instead of roots, and have to absorb water from their surroundings directly rather than transporting it with xylem. They have alternation of generations, but unlike vascular plants the gametophyte generation, not the sporophyte generation, is dominant. They are found worldwide, but prefer damp environments, and there are somewhere between 100-300 known species. They are named for the horn-like shape of their sporophytes. The gametophyte generally forms a rosette or ribbon-like thallus, not leaves.

no caller ID pops on your screen, pulling your attention away from your previous task at hand: not fucking up your eyeliner. you typically wouldn’t care if it was a little uneven, but you’re going on a date tonight, for the first time in so long, and you want everything to go as smoothly as possible.

which is why you groan when you end the call, and that same no caller ID pops right back up seconds later. you know who it is—who else would it be? you figured he’s already seen your story of being excited for going on your first date in a while, on the only app you hadn’t blocked him on. petty? perhaps, but it’s on him to be keeping up with you despite you cursing him out for wasting your time and then blocking him right after.

you watch it ring though, contemplating for a while longer than you should. you blocked him for a reason. no need to entertain his same shit that he always spews to you when he realizes that he might be losing you once more?

….but it doesn’t hurt to hear the hero beg for you.

“What do you want, Bakugou?” You sigh irritably as you finally answer his call, putting him on speaker as you go back to even out your eyeliner. You hear him huff on the other side of the phone at the use of his surname, but he doesn’t say anything about it, instead, quickly telling you what he’s been bothering you for.

“Who’s the fuckin’ loser that’s gonna drool over how good your tits look in that stupid green dress you love so much?” Bakugou grunts, and you instantly feel your face heating at his crude words. You glance over with a frown at that same green dress that makes your tits look good, where it hangs on your closet.

“None of your damn business, Bakugou.” You snap at him, wondering if it’s too late to find something else to wear. “Not like you ever took me out in my stupid green dress.” Your voice holds a level of bitterness that only he can bring out of you, and you hear his sigh through the speakers.

“I told you this before, I’m always—”

“Busy.” You cut him off, voice suddenly thick as you think back on the countless rejections he’s splattered at your feet every time you tried to further your relationship with him. “You reminded me of how busy you’ve been since you first started this whole situationship.”

“Situation—? Huh? We were dating!” Bakugou protests with a huff, and you can hear how he paces the floor quickly. You glare at your phone, setting down your liner to instead pick of your (his) favorite lipgloss.

“You’d have to ask me out to be dating, Bakugou. You’d have to court me to be dating, Bakugou. You’d have to make time for me and take me out on dates and not hide me to fucking date me, Bakugou.” You spit at him, venom dripping off of your lips in waves. You don’t know why you answered, why you even entertained him. You shake your head with a huff when the line goes quiet, eyebrows quirking up when your date sends you a text to make sure you’re still on for tonight.

“I’m sorry.” Bakugou mutters pathetically, his voice suddenly soft. You hesitate, for some reason, when it comes to texting your date back. Why do you always hesitate when Bakugou is around?

“Let me make it up to you, court you, and shit. I can take you to one of my favorite places, you can wear that pretty green dress and that gloss you know I love.” His voice is pleading, thickening and sweet and suffocating. You shouldn’t respond, should reply back a yes to your date.

“Please? You know how much you mean to me.” Bakugou mumbles, and you can hear the earnestness in his voice. Why haven’t you said yes to your date yet?

“I’ll do better this time. Just one more chance, sweetheart.” Bakugou’s voice is so soft, you’ve never heard him this vulnerable before. You sigh with a shake of your head, slumping back into your seat in defeat.

The other event next month will be MMJ. WxS has a Nene banner in 3 days so the events have to be for the other units on stream.

The An event will be a 2DMV, which means that out of MMJ, she only pairs with Haruka (who needs a 3DMV).

but Haruka just had a banner, so we can probably rule her out. Prsk has only run two banners for the same character this close toegther once before (Island Panic and CGO were 4 events apart)

Toya, on the other hand, can be paired up with Minori (or Shizuku but she's less likely) due to needing a 3DMV and 2DMV respectively. And hey look, Yuichan's going to be on this stream.

Prsk also has this habit of just setting up major plot arcs and then ignoring them for several events (Vivid Old Tale -> Kick it up a notch with the Nagi stuff as one example (which still hasn't been resolved lmao)). This isn't always true but I'm scraping the bottom of the bucket to prove it's a Toya event.

If they devs decide they don't care about evening out MV types anymore you can disregard literally everything in this post including the tags. Or if they decide to spam permanent Haruka banners. Either or.
