I can't express how embarrassed I am just fshfhsgshgsghshg I have been CRAZY for wings for AGES now, and I just saw soooo many posts about how "what if Chuuya could fly Dazai" I thought, fuckers, I can make that REALITY And it is going to follow the main timeline of the show just...alot differently but at the same time trying really hard to stick to the normal plot In hindsight that means I must suffer with all my energy to watch the first season of bsd (When I first watched BSD, the first episodes were for setup, and rightfully so. That all made sense, it really put the characters together. But I watched it a second time and it dragged ON and ON and I COULDN'T STAND IT UNTIL CHUUYA CAME TO GRAB DAZAI gARgHHrhgh). I must admit I'm confused on the "Soukoku reunion where Chuuya has feathers" bit though 🤔 And currently during the plot I'm writing I have to improvise ALOT from what I know, and really this fic is also whatever the fuck I wanna write with whatever writing style I have on hand slapped into each 1K chapter so I'm really trying here LOL Also the fact when [undisclosed plot device] will be introduced, I'll be writing seperate smut for [undisclosed plot device] because I can then do WHATEVER I want wITHOUT any repercussions Hopefully I can add in [undisclosed plot device] just in a way that people will understand. Though I hear that Beast Dazai also came across [undisclosed plot device] at one point :D

I'm going SO offtopic here LMFAO And seriously? Really??? I'm surprised! I'm sure theres alot of fics that go by the timeline, I especially have run into cough ones which I liked which are specifically smut related..... and I go back to off topic I'm sorry LMAO But I'm sosoosososo glad you like it! I have been thinking and pondering about this for some months now, since June when That Stuff happened and I had to jump away from here and uhhh it feels corny to say that but a lot of things changed to me and I changed a lot together with everything too.

So, I think it's my time to let this blog go. Not because I feel bad about it now or anything but... I am no longer that attached to tickling to maintain it. It's still cute, playful and comforting, but it is now a part of a lot of other things that are just as cute, playful and comforting to me.

This blog had a good run and I'm incredibly grateful because of it. Six entire years, if I am not mistaken, and I won't delete it anytime soon so the numbers will keep going! For as long as it wants or it is allowed to. All my fics, my headcanons, my rambles and reblogs will stay here because I don't want nor have the heart to delete it. There are such amazing, wonderful and well created arts and stories in this community that deserve all the attention and all the screams.

And! Talking about that! The people! I would like to say the biggest and most heartful thank you that you could ever imagine. Full of big hugs and smiles. I've met awesome people here that I will forever hold dear in my heart. Thank you for the company and the fun and for being so lovely and inspiring to me, all of you. It doesn't matter if we talked for years or minutes, thank you very much. HI!! i’m the anon who went to the saudi trip yesterday and boy do i have an update

okay so, when we went to the cultural center, it was GORGEOUS i wish i could put some pics (you can search saudia ithra) but it was HUUGEEE and the building was stunning

first they took us to the library area. FOUR FLOORS FILLED WITH BOOKS I WAS SO EXCITEDDDDDD I found some books i’ve been wanting to read so bad but it’s borrow only </3

then when the other bus of students came, the tour started and this woman explained to us about the impact islam had on some of the art pieces and its significance in the first gallery.

then she took us to another gallery which shows old artifact and calligraphy, even some pieces dating back to 1200 years ago WHICH IS CRAZYYYY. i saw old fighting armor and swords which was so fucking awesome?? like WOAH?? there were also some gorgeous paintings which showed how calligraphers often worked closely with painters, illuminators and gilders to create pages of great beauty from illuminated frontispieces for manuscripts of the Holy Qur'an and i was basically in awe the entire time.

we saw some crazy huge completely handmade carpentry and ceramic which was stunning. the mechanics of it (from what i understood) was that it was build to bring cool air in and keep it there back in the day. they showed us spanish pottery, also so beautiful that i fear my storage is gonna explode from HOW many pictures i took 🧍‍♀️

after that, they took us to the energy/science exhibit and the science nerd in me was jumping up and down but unfortunately they were rushing because we had to go and eat BUT it was so much fun there were tiny games where you could play and see how extracting oil works, how anticline and fault traps work for oil and how certain rocks are formed. i wwiiiisshh we continued since there also was a knowledge tower which i was interested in going.

after eating, they took us to this walk open area with restaurants and cafes to chill a little before we had to go. and as we were JUST about to leave, someone fainted and from there it went downhill because someone had a panic attack about it and it was crazy but thank god they’re okay. but when we were in the bus, a girl who was with the one who fainted told us that she had heart and stomach problems but didn’t take her medication soon and only took it after she drank coffee on an empty stomach and apparently her antibiotics were super strong and you had to eat first which is why she passed out and wasn’t able to move for a bit. god bless her soul i’m so glad she’s okay but girl 🧍‍♀️ and apparently it wasn’t the first time she’s done this especially since she knows how bad it can get? 😭

but she’s good now, i’m beyond happy about that and we reached back home at 9:30 pm when we were supposed to go back home at 5:30 pm 🧍‍♀️ over all it was reallllly fun despite the little turn of events.

the art and history section ahhhh! i love art history that it's so cool that you learned all of that and was able to experience it all in person, definitely a little jelly haha. the armor and swords!!!! i love seeing that stuff so much, i could stare at it for forever just picking out the interstate details they'd put into those kind of thinks back then, and how they actually used to fight wearing it! 1200 years ago is insaneeeee, even now i'm still wrapping my head around humans being around for that long and all the advances that were made back then! i'd be in awe too if i wear you girl (and the photo storage i get that too, so many thing to capture but so little room on my phone)

Emily Plays Sonic #2 - Sonic Adventure!

Eeeee, this is a game I didn't really know anything about going in, but I was super excited and ended up absolutely loving it!

It definitely shows its age, but it's got so much charm and it's an absolute blast to play, it's one of my favorites in the series!

Stuff I Love

This game has soooo much of what I'd want in my dream Sonic game! I love getting to run around in a big city map that the story centers around, talking to all the different people in Station Square between levels was so fun for me! Having an open hub world to run around in is something I really love in Sonic games, and not enough of them do it!!!

The soundtrack was fantastic, Welcome to Station Square was an instant fav that I think set the game's entire feel for me, and there's so many other songs that instantly burned themselves into my brain for all eternity

Just something about the game feels so Sonic to me. Going on a big high-energy adventure, but having so much time to just, chill and relax, talk to people, the sun is shining and the water's so blue, yknow? It's so perfectly in-line with Sonic's character and the stuff I love about the series in general, aaaaaa I love this game so much

Gameplay

The game is very rough around the edges and occasionally frustrating, but for the most part I didn't actually have a ton of issues! I was pretty dang impressed with Sonic's "rough transition into 3D" haha

Most of the time, I was just rolling through the levels, having a blast while listening to great music and playing some pretty fun platforming!

It did vary a little depending on the character (which I'll get into), but in general the game usually never felt painful or unfair

All-in-all, had an amazing time, can't wait to play it all over again!

The Characters

I've realized that what makes like 80% of my Sonic game experience is the characters! Having all of Sonic's different friends running around with their own stories, getting to interact with each other and show off their personalities does sooooo much to make me fall in love with a game

So, this game having 6 different character stories to play through is obviously right up my alley ^^

I have different thoughts about each character, so let's go into all of them!

Sonic

Sonic was very fun! He's definitely the most polished of the characters, which makes sense, and his levels are super fun to play once you get the feel of the game down

His story is fun, just a simple "find the chaos emeralds and stop Eggman" plot, but that's not really a bad thing!

I'll also count Super Sonic here since he only gets one little bit, his story makes a pretty cool ending for the game and kicks off the "Super Sonic fights kaiju in awesome final battle" formula for the series (even though they trip themselves up by having the cool main vocal theme play in the first phase and having the battle end with generic scary boss music, but thankfully they learned from that by SA2) I love Sonic's whole "No! Sealing Chaos away again won't stop this from happening again! I'm going to beat him up until he starts being good!" thing, that's so good

Tails

Tails is funny because he's basically just Sonic but you can skip straight to the end of every level He's still fun though! I liked it when they tailored levels more for his flight, like his last level in particular is mostly designed for flying platforming, and the race against Eggman makes it a fun challenge!

Also I liked how Sonic is constantly talking up Tails in their levels, throughout the whole thing he'll be going "Way to go, Tails! :D" and it's really cute <3

Knuckles

Okay Knuckles was actually my least favorite, I like Knuckles fine but I never really get super excited about him, so going in I already wasn't gonna be very invested His levels are sorta eh, I'm not big into the treasure hunting, and really I just don't think he's inserted into the story very well! He's mostly off doing his own thing the whole time, and it even ends with him commenting on being separate from everything and not knowing what was really going on the whole time I think that having a sort of disconnected outsider perspective is a fun idea, but they already have a character like that in the game! Big!!

Knuckles kinda just felt like he was there out of obligation, I didn't really get into him or his story at all XP

Amy

YOU CAN PLAY AS AMY.

OBVIOUSLY I was gonna be super excited about this since she's my favorite character, so boy did I have a good time!

I like how Amy really gets to do her own thing for the most part in this game, which, I know I just criticized Knuckles for kinda doing that too, but for Amy it works really well! And it's an actual story, not just going around collecting emerald shards!! Amy gets to have a fun plot, protecting her new bird buddy, meeting Gamma, going off on her own little adventure, and she really really shines in this game! I didn't like Knuckles's story because it just felt really basic and bland, and didn't do much with his character. Like, Knuckles is an interesting guy, but they don't put him in a story where he gets to show that off or develop in an interesting way. With Amy though, I think they really did a lot with her! She goes from just being a minor character in the classic games, who's kinda just Sonic's cute fangirl, to getting to go her own way and have her own goals. She gets an arc, she develops, it's great!!!

Gameplay-wise I think people tend to not really like her levels because of how she plays, but I think she's actually pretty fun once you get a handle of how to use her well! You can get her going pretty fast if you use her hammer jump right, and getting that down made doing her A-levels really fun

Big

Okay so controversial opinion, Big's, like, really great? Idk, I just love this big silly guy and his best frog friend <3 I'd heard about his levels being awful but honestly, you just need to catch Froggy? If you just read the instructions when you start his story, I don't think you should have a very hard time with it. You could probably finish his whole story in like 45 minutes, and most of that'll just be walking between each level (which granted is a little painful but XP)

Now that being said, the very first thing I did after finishing the game was to start working on his B and A levels, and THIS is where his gameplay ACTUALLY becomes a nightmare. The instructions will help you catch Froggy no sweat, but when going for 1000 or 2000kg fish, that's when you need to understand the arcane secret nuances of Sonic Adventure's fishing mechanics. I spent 20 minutes trying to catch a single fish at one point. 20 minutes of mashing my keyboard. AND THEN IT JUST DISAPPEARED. I think it just got too far away, because that 20 minutes of mashing did not involve it getting any closer to me at any point in time. Ughhhhh

Eventually I managed to find a random guide online that had the right trick, and after that finishing all his A-levels was pretty quick and easy. Unfortunately, I don't remember what it was. I am so, so sorry.

Still, that's just bonus completion content, aside from that I found Big's story just a charming and chill bit of downtime among the action of the other stories, and I am 100% endeared to Big <3

Gamma

Holy moly, this was my first taste of genuinely emotional drama in a Sonic game, and it did not disappoint

Gamma's gameplay is fun enough, it doesn't take too long to just blast through everything in your way and roll to the finish, but the real event is obviously his story

The whole discovery of Beta, his moment with Amy, godd the ending...

Those last silent moments of Gamma just staggering away, before he falls down and explodes...

And the little bird flies away to rejoin its family...

Last Stuff

So yeah, Sonic Adventure was an absolutely amazing time! I actually had such a good time with it that rather than immediately move on to SA2 (which I was really excited to get to), I stayed with it to try and 100% it!

I got all the A-Levels on every character, found all the emblems in the map, played the bonus games, and even did all the missions which you don't get anything for Unfortunately I couldn't actually 100% it, because to do that you need to earn all 130 emblems to unlock Metal Sonic, and then do all his levels (which I think are just repeats of Sonic's) And I can't do that because the last emblems I need are all the Chao garden ones I really loved the Chao garden, it's such a cute thing and plays into the vibes that I love about the game But goddddd levelling up your Chao and winning all the races takes absolutely forever, I can't believe they lock the last emblems behind it!!! I'll get to it eventually, but man it'll take so long... and I'll have to do it again in Sonic Adventure 2...

The original joke of my post was that Tucker is ssssooooooooo Kai coded. Like so Kai coded. As guy who only talks about Kai (and Morro) Tucker is SOOOOO KAI NINJAGO CODED. But Kai was never the chosen one. No matter how much he wanted to be. However Lloyd after getting to be the chosen one after all the time of being upset that they wouldn’t let him join in on the ninja shit realized HOW MUCH IT FUCKING SUUUUUUKS which. I think also fits Tucker. The guy who acts like Kai ninjago and absolutely is all look at meee im the cool alien chosen one with my sick ass prophecy sword i birthed alien Jesus or some shit but then the second he actually gets picked as the leader the moment hes actually thrown into any of this he IMMEDIATELY wants to get out of it not feeling like he can be a leader and not wanting to be the reason ppl died I think it works well in a Lloyd position

So then. As a Kai guy of all time. Obviously I have to make sure whoever I make Kai has to be GOOD. Like REAL FUCKING GOOD. So then. Who? Weeellllll aside from Kai’s obvious BPD and selfishly self sacrificial attitude what’s the OTHER big plot that he has going for him? It’s Nya. At least thats where my brain went. Again it’s 2am so this is first thoughts connecting who’s to say what I actually can make the more I think about this (and honestly I might. I’m having fun with this as i type lol) one of Kai’s huge things in his character is how much of a big brother he is. To Nya, to Lloyd. To Wyldfyre (yes that his daughter but like. Idk man they have Sonic and Tails energies just trust me on this its like his daughter little sister ace attorney style weird little girl its found family it is not an exact fucking science) and I think putting Grif and Sis in the position of Kai and Nya would be. SO FUCKING INTERESTING. Obvi it means Kai’s plot would take a massive shift but looking at the pilot just for right now it’s PERFECT

Pilot Kai wants NOTHING to do with being a ninja. He thinks Wu is a crazy old freak and that the fire thing is stupid and his dad is probably dead so why does he care about this weird old sibling dick measuring contest that has nothing to do with himOH GOD NYA FUCK THEY TOOK NYA TO LEGO HELL OH GOD OH FUCK and now Kai’s a ninja.

Grif not wanting anything to do with being a Ninja fits his character SO well and when Sis is first introduced in the show he’s like pretty worried about her getting her ass shot much like how Kai is super overprotective of Nya in the beginning. I also think that Sis would be SOOOO interesting in Nya plot. Nya’s whole thing is how she is the ‘girl’ of the team and she always gets left behind cause shes not a ninja and the guys dont think she can keep up with them. They put her on the same seat as the fucking 8 year old. So what does Nya do? She tells them to go fuck themselves and she builds herself a super sweet kick ass mech! Cause shes awesome! And I think Sis absofuckinglutly would.

I dont think Grif would be much like how Kai is in the rest of the show but that would be part of the fun of the au is finding how the series plots would work with these characters. Tho I will say it physically pains me to not give Tucker fire powers. Look at him. He’s so fire guy of all time

-He does share some of your interests, especially writing and reading. Oda gives good feedback for your stories and poems, even when he might be a bit blunt at times, he genuinely wants to see you improve. I reckon he would even give some writing tips too

-I feel like Oda will mostly train you in combat. Depending on your skills, he would either focus on training you in chases or how to subdue the enemy without killing them. He was an elite assassin once, and no doubt he could pass on some of his skills to you. Just... please don’t burn down Yokohama

-He doesn’t really mind what you do, however he will provide guidance when you need it. Oda gives really good advice, even when he himself thinks that it isn’t. He was a bit surprised when you told him that his advice worked well, but he is perfectly happy to give you more

-Over time, Oda will even take you to visit his orphans! If you’re not good with children, Oda will give you some tips on how to handle them and what their likes and dislikes were. They’re pretty good kids, a bit active sometimes, but if they sensed that they were being too rowdy they will tone it down for you. Oda asks you to look after them for a while, and it secretly makes him happy that his student and his kids were getting along well

-He will encourage you to take risks, but he won’t force you to do it if you don’t want to. Oda wants you to grow, but he wouldn’t make you do anything against your will. That wouldn’t exactly be called ‘mentoring’

The red-banded turtle takes a large swig of water, making sure to show his enthusiasm for it.

Aftershock Day 2 recap!!

First, the bands I saw: Set It Off, Motionless In White, Falling In Reverse, Apocalyptica, Gwar, and Kiss

My dad and I had planned to see Archetypes Collide, but we ended up getting to the venue too late due to a bad parking situation. Rather than catch the last 10 minutes of their set, we opted to get close for Set It Off. Set It Off was SO MUCH FUN! I was jumping and singing for most of their set. Cody has soooo much energy, and it definitely pumped up the crowd. I touched the setlist when he threw it, but wasn't able to catch it 😭. I'm so sad about that. My dad was close to catching a drum stick, but would've had to (in his words) "push some Ashley sized chicks", and he understandably didn't want to be an aggressive jerk.

It was so damn hot during Motionless In White. Totally worth it though. Luckily, the crowd was fairly chill where I was, so there wasn't any extra body heat or sweat being transferred lol. I was disappointed they didn't perform Voices, but they covered Somebody Told Me by The Killers, and that was really cool! I had a good time during them, despite trying not to be too active to preserve my energy. My biggest issue was that there was a little kid on someone's shoulders, and crowdsurfers kept getting pushed toward him. The kid got kicked! I was so pissed to see that. The kid ended up leaving the crowd, and I felt so bad. Beyond that, because I feel like this paragraph is just complaints, I had a great time!! Chris Motionless is awesome, so just seeing him again was nice. We got a lot closer this time too!

My dudes. Falling In Reverse was incredible. I've been wanting to see them for years. They were at the festival one of the other years I went, but I was out voted and didn't get to see them. I went HARD for them. I was screaming all of the lyrics, jumping around like crazy, and headbanging majorly. I was soooo drained after their set, but it was entirely worth it. I had an amazing time. The band sounded great, and I enjoyed how they interacted with the crowd. It was also fun to hear my dad yelling along to a couple songs. I was trying to recover a little during Voices In My Head, because I was super sweaty and not feeling 100%, but then I heard my dad yelling every lyric behind me. He's a really recent fan, so I was glad he had such a good time as well.

Omg Apocalyptica was insane. As a cellist, I just have to say those dudes are gods. I was in awe of them. I love the band, but seeing them live took my love to another level. I actually stood their with my jaw dropped for a minute, because I couldn't believe the talent I was witnessing. They were also the only band in the last 2 days that I saw with my brother, so it was nice to be able to experience that with him.

My dad and I took a break to eat and sit down after Apocalyptica. Afterwards, we decided to check out Gwar. They always draw huge crowds, and we've heard that their performances are insane. We were disappointed to say the least. For one, we just weren't super into their gimmick. Like they looked cool, but the theme of their songs and conversations didn't vibe with us. They also made really tasteless commentary about Ukraine, so we left. We will not being checking them out again should they return to the festival.

Kiss was tonight's headliner. I am admittedly not a Kiss fan. I went in with fairly low expectations. Sorry to my Kiss mutuals. They surprised me. The crowd was really into it, and they had a good vibe. I definitely am not a converted fan by any means. I will likely never willingly listen to their music again, but I didn't hate what I heard. I also had a really good view of the stage despite my dad and I making no effort to actually get into the crowd. I watched about half of the set before leaving. Honestly I only stayed that long because my dad was clearly having a great time, and I didn't wan to ruin that. My feet were tired though, and everyone around us was smoking. Even with my mask, I couldn't stop coughing. I ended up leaving and hanging out with my brother. That was way more enjoyable.

Highs and lows of Kiss: The guitar solos were cool! Solos aren't too common of an occurrence, especially such long ones, so I liked them. On the flip side, I hated just about everything related to Gene Simmons. His tongue, and everything he did with it, grossed me out. He had so much saliva dripping from his mouth and from his microphone. It was disgusting.

Father’s Day Tradition

Summary: Reader has been married to Chris Evans for the last seven years, she and their five year old son, Tommy, have made a cake for him for the last three Father’s Days. Reader feels incredibly grateful for her boys on days like these.

a/n: It’s Father’s Day and I can't stop thinking about Chris Evans’ dad energy after watching Defending Jacob soooo I wrote this, hope you guys like it!! 

“No honey! Make sure to crack the eggs over the bowl every time! You don’t want the egg to be wasted do you?”

“No, Mommy! I’m sorry!” your five year old son says, grabbing another egg to break into the mixing bowl. It’s the night before Father’s Day and as tradition has it, you and your son are making a cake for your loving husband and Tommy’s amazing father, Chris Evans. You and Chris have been married for seven years now, and you’re so incredibly lucky to have him. He’s incredibly lucky to have you as well, and you never let him forget that. A crack followed by a plopping noise breaks you out of your thoughts, looking down to see a cracked egg on the floor. “Mommy, I’m sorry! It wasn’t me! It was Dodger!” You laugh despite yourself, you’ll never get tired of hearing your son’s excuses, most of them involving Chris’ adorable dog. 

“Oh honey it’s okay, let’s just clean it up quickly so we can continue making this cake for daddy! How does that sound?” 

“It sounds awesome Mommy! I love making cakes for Daddy, when I grow up, I’m gonna be a cake-maker!” 

“Yes you will be Tommy, and you’ll make lots of cakes for Mommy and Daddy won’t you? Please?”

“Dodger too!” Tommy says cheerfully, running to hug the mixed-breed boxer. Now that the eggs have thankfully been cracked and added to the bowl, always the most precarious part of baking with a five year-old, you begin adding one egg at a time to the butter in the mixing bowl. 

“Hand me the flour bowl Tommy!”  You say, you and your son together adding 1/3 of the flour mixture, then pouring milk in, and repeating the process until the batter begins looking like the right consistency. 

“Mommy, you have flour on your nose! It’s funny!” Tommy says laughing. 

“I do?” Tommy reaches up and touches your nose quickly before laughing even harder, 

“Now you do!” You can’t be annoyed, you start laughing too and pull your son into a big hug, feeling incredibly grateful that you’re here baking with the funniest little boy on earth to celebrate the world’s best father and husband. Once the cake has been put in the oven to bake, it’s time for Tommy to make a card. He draws a big heart on the biggest piece of paper the two of you can find in the house. “I’ll write I love you so much Daddy! Happy Father’s Day! Is that good?” 

“That’s perfect baby, can Mommy write something on your card too? Just a small thing?” 

“Fine I guess, but make sure daddy knows this is from me!” 

“Of course, I would never try and steal this amazing card, even though I am a little jealous of it.” You say teasingly before writing, Happy Father’s to my loving husband, Love you forever, Y/n. 

The sound of the oven timer alerts you to the cake being finished, along with the delicious smell filling the house. “Okay Tommy do you remember what we use to take things out of the oven to be safe?”

“We use the oven gloves mommy! So we don’t get burned!” You pull the cake out of the oven. “Is it done?” Tommy asks. 

“Well Tommy I’m going to tell you a super secret grown-up fact, do you promise not to tell anyone?” Tommy eagerly nods before you retrieve a toothpick and place it into the middle of the cake, it coming out clean. “See how it came out clean? That means it’s done!” 

“That’s like magic Mommy! Don’t worry, your secret is safe with me!” You giggle quietly, oh how you love toddlers. You have to wait for the cake to cool but you and Tommy mix up the frosting, excited for the most fun part, decorating! Both of you grab spatulas and begin spooning frosting onto the cake, assembling the two layers you have baked. You carefully write Happy Father’s Day on the top before letting Tommy write Daddy in big letters, then you place jelly beans on the top of the cake, remembering how much Chris loves jelly beans. 

“Alright honey, the cake is done, it's time to go to bed now, remember, we have to wake up early to surprise Daddy! So make sure you go to sleep.” You place the cake in the refrigerator and follow Tommy upstairs, tucking him in and kissing him goodnight. You then make your way into your shared bedroom with Chris, seeing him sitting up in bed with a book, looking adorable but somehow sexy with his reading glasses on. 

“Hi baby, how’d it go?” Chris says teasingly, wiping off the trace amount of flour still left on your nose. Of course it’s meant to be a secret, but Chris would have to be an idiot to still be surprised, this being the third year we’ve done this. 

“Oh shh, Mr. Evans, it’s a surprise! I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about!” You get ready for bed, both you and Chris turning off the lights before you take your signature spot in his arms, feeling extremely safe in the arms of your husband. “Goodnight baby, I love you.” 

“I love you too, Y/n.” He says placing a kiss to your forehead. 

BEEP BEEP BEEP 

“Ughhh, five more minutes.” You groan out and hit your phone a little too hard, causing it to fall on the ground, still blaring. 

“But sweetheart, Tommy will be so mad at you!” Chris says groggily, rubbing his eyes. You remember immediately, it’s Father’s Day. 

“Oh right of course, Happy Father’s Day babe, see you soon.” You say before rushing out of the room, where Tommy is sitting in front of the door looking extremely impatient. 

“Mommy!” he whisper-yells, “you’re 11 minutes late!” 

“I’m sorry Tommy, let’s go! Before Daddy wakes up!” You grab Tommy’s hand and walk downstairs. First, you take the cake out of the fridge to let it soften a little bit. Next, you make enough scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon for the three of you, letting Tommy crack the eggs again of course, you can’t have cake for breakfast without some actual sustenance! You also brew some coffee for both you and Chris, milk for Tommy. 

“Is it time yet? Are we ready?” Tommy asks impatiently. 

“Is your present ready? What about your card?” You ask him and he nods eagerly. “Then yes, we’re ready!” You place the coffee on a tray with the breakfast and allow Tommy to hold the cake, warning him that he must be extremely careful. You push the door open very slowly saying “Wake up Daddy!” Giving time for Chris to pretend to wake up for Tommy’s excitement. 

“Woah! Look at all this! I’m so surprised! Did you make that cake all by yourself buddy?” Chris says to Tommy. 

“Mommy helped a little bit, but I did most of the work!” You get on the bed and carefully place the tray down safely. Tommy places the cake down safely before yelping suddenly and running out of the room, coming back seconds later with the card and watch you had ordered online for Chris. “I almost forgot your present! Mommy said that since we have to stay inside it’s better to order things online! Is that true!” 

“Sure is buddy, don’t you know Mommy’s always right?” 

“Oh you are a flatterer Mr. Chris Evans, no wonder I married you.” You say lovingly, sinking into Chris’ arms with your cup of coffee. The three of you eat the breakfast, much to Tommy’s disapproval, wanting to eat the cake right away. You fight off Dodger’s advances while eating bacon. “Tommy, why doesn’t Daddy open his presents now!” Tommy grabs the card and gives it to Chris. 

“Wow, Buddy this is awesome! This card is so big!” 

“I know! This card is from me by the way, not Mommy!” 

“Oh of course, thank you so much!” 

“The watch is from Mommy, but she said I can give it to you too!” 

“Well that was very nice of her wasn’t it bud? Can we say thank you Mommy?”

“Thank you Mommy!” Tommy says before hugging you. 

“Thank you for the watch Mommy, and the rest.” Chris whispers to you and hugs you as well. 

“Alright boys, I think it’s cake time!” 

“Yay!!” Chris and Tommy yell at the same time, it’s so easy to see the resemblance in moments like this. You cut pieces of cake for all three of you.

“This cake is delicious Tommy! I think it might be the best cake I’ve ever had!” Chris exclaims, high giving Tommy.

“I told you Mommy, I’m going to be a cake-maker when I’m old like Daddy!”

“More cake for us!” Chris says, locking eyes with you as you look at each lovingly. The three of you sit together, laughing and enjoying the hot June Massachusetts morning. It’s times like these you feel the most grateful for your two boys, Dodger too of course.

                                   A Teen! Reader x bau team fic

     After spending some time with your Zio Rossi, you see Morgan and JJ sparring and ask for a two on one training with them

Hey! So this is my first fic, and I'm really excited to share this with yall! This idea came up when @stxrryspencer posted and was like “what teen!reader x bau fic should I write?” And I commented a million times and this was one of those comments! So check there's out too! I’m not sure when it’ll be out but soooo much of their writing is good! We had the same basic idea but wrote it differently :) so that's cool! There are a few words that aren't in English (Italian) so I'll add a little translation index and author's notes at the end.

“I'm nervous,”

“Don't be,” Spencer told you “besides-”

“Okay but what if Morgan beats the absolute crap out of me,” you interrupted “I asked for a sparring session! He's strong,” 

“Don't be nervous, Y/n,” Emily consoled over a sip of coffee “Morgan probably won't go easy on you. And neither will JJ. But there's a difference between beating somebody up and being pushed past your limits so you'll be able to grow,”

“And besides,” Spencer continued, “In the not at all likely possibility that Morgan beats the absolute crap out of you. Rossi will definitely kill him,”

That much was true, and you pondered over it as Emily gave you pointers. Which flew right over your head. 

You, Spencer, and Emily were spending some quality time together while your Zio Rossi was in a meeting with Hotch. It wasn't a secret that JJ and Morgan were the most athletically inclined out of the team, you knew that after watching a take down (albeit from the safety of the polie cruiser) and seeing Morgan pin the unsub to the ground while JJ pulled out a pair of handcuffs. It was impressive, and you wondered if they had somehow managed to chase the unsub to where you were so you could see everything up close and personal. Later that night, you had asked your Zio Rossi if a training session with the two of them would be a possibility. He said yes, and texted the two of them. Who had enthusiastically agreed. 

Now you were having a coffee with Emily and Spencer. Telling them you had a training session with them the next day, followed by a sparring session that the team was invited to watch. 

“So if there's JJ and Morgan, then you..” Spencer pondered aloud “Who are you fighting with? Surely it's not going to be a two on one battle, that wouldn't be fair at all,”

“Oh! No no, not at all,” Emily and Spencer both looked relieved “What JJ said is that she'll be my personal coach during the spar, not fight. So like.. she'll yell out encouragement and tips and stuff,”

“So it is like a two on one battle!” Emily said

You snorted into your coffee “Yea, I guess. Just not in Morgan's favor,”

“Serves him right! Hey, y/n, just for me, make sure to give him a nice sucker punch in the-”

“Reid!” Emily yelled while you shouted “Spencer!” at the same time

“Kidding, kidding! I’m kidding!” Spencer said as you pelted empty sugar packets at him.

“Are you nervous?” 

Penny was driving you to the boxing gym that your “personal trainers” frequented often. There was a boxing ring, too, and you had briefly wondered if you should have borrowed a pair of gloves. 

“Not really. At least not in the sense that you think I would be. I have the training, and then I’m gonna spar with Morgan. I’m more nervous I’m gonna make a fool of myself in front of people I look up to,” you explained, tightening your ponytail. Which was a nervous habit you had adopted “ask me again in three hours when I'll actually box with Morgan,”

She laughed and glanced over at you before blowing a kiss to the pair of pink fuzzy dice hanging on her rear view mirror “There! A bit of luck for you, darling” 

“Thanks, Penny,” 

You looked down at your knuckles and at the roll of athletic tape that JJ told you to bring. You felt the car come to a stop and looked up to see a bright red fitness center sign. 

“You’re here, sweet cheeks! Wanna text Morgan and JJ you’re here? I think they’re inside warming up a bit. Maybe pulling a few strings to get the place cleared out for fight night!” Penny sensed your nervousness and bought you a few seconds to put it off before you walked in 

“Yea, I’ll text them right now,” you said and pulled out your phone. Texting the groupchat with you, JJ, and Morgan that has been dubbed “the number one rule of fight club..” 

The number one rule of fight club...

Y/n: Hey, I’m here!

JJ: Awesome! Come on in, Morgan got us a private room by flexing at the receptionist 

Morgan: Hey! With guns like these, I can’t just let them go without use. 

Y/n: Hahaha. Okay, I’m coming in right now. I’m in a blue tank top and leggings if you see me before I see you 

JJ: Great, if you get lost ask the receptionist for directions 

Morgan: And don’t hesitate to name drop me, you never know what perks you’ll get if she knows you’re with a god like me ;)

You laughed and grabbed your bag, letting Penny read the thread while you got yourself together. 

“Okay! Let’s go. I’m going, I’m gone!” You yelled over your shoulder at Penny once she passed your phone back to you. 

“Okay, love you!” She responded, blasting Eye of the Tiger from her car window as she drove away. 

You squared your shoulders and walked in. The smell of sweat overpowering your senses. Almost immediately you didn’t know where you were going. So, begrudgingly, you went up to the blonde receptionist who looked way too energetic. 

“Um, hi. Do you know where the private rooms are?”

“Hi, gorgeous! I’m Abby, which room number are you going in to?” She practically yelled at you

“Aw crap. I don’t know which room number it is,” You internally panicked

Then you remembered that Morgan said you could name drop. He probably didn’t give you the number just for that reason

“Sly, dog..” you thought

“Um.. I’m not sure but I’m here with Morgan? Derek Morgan,” you corrected yourself then saw Abby start blushing and leaned over to you

“Oh, Derek, what a handsome young man! Of course, you’re in 2B. Can I get you a water? They’re usually a buck, but if you’re with Derek I’ll let a few ‘go lukewarm’” She whispered the last part and winked at you. 

You smiled. Morgan sure did have something different that got all the ladies to swoon. 

“Yes, please, that would be wonderful. I’ll tell Morgan, that you gave us some,” You collected the water. Condensation pooling on your fingertips and yelled over your shoulder “Thank you, Abby!” 

She winked at you again and pointed you in the direction. 

“Hi guys,” you smiled nervously and held out the waters “Abby gave us waters, I may have name dropped you, Morgan,”

“Haha, nice!” Morgan walked over and gave you a high five “Thank you, Abby,”

“Hi, y/n, want me to wrap your hands for you?” JJ asked

“Yes, please,”

You sat down on a bench and held out your hands, unsure whether to put your palms up or down and trying to ignore the obvious tremor in them. 

Apparently palms up was the correct placement as JJ gently, but securely, wove the tape through your fingers. “So what we're gonna do today is just teach you some of the basics in boxing. That’s what Morgan and I have been properly trained in, and what I think is the most fun-“

She was cut off by Morgan

“Hey, doll face, are you shaking?” He grabbed one of your hands in his own “Don’t be nervous, y/n. We're gonna teach you first. We wouldn't just throw you to the wolves. And even when we do box it out,” he mimed a duck and upper cut “with JJ giving you pointers I’m sure you’re gonna do fine. Even if you don’t manage to beat me,”

“Yea, Y/n. You’re gonna do great, I promise,” She finished taping up your hands and stood up “Okay. We’re gonna teach you the basics in boxing, and then some cardio to get your blood pumping. After we have the ring to ourselves! I'm friends with the owner, so James said we could stay late,” JJ whispered the last part to you

“Learning, cardio, practice, go, got it,” you looked up eagerly at JJ and bounced on your toes “which moves first?”

You genuinely had no idea how Morgan still seemed to be full of so much energy. He was bouncing on his toes and had a look of fire in his eyes as he danced around in front of the mirror. You looked over at JJ who was on her phone. 

“Y/n?” She called to you 

“Mhm?”

“Spencer and Emily want to know if they could come watch us. Garcia said she'll be here in spirit but she loves you and Morgan too much to see either of you at each other,” 

You laughed at Garcia's reasoning “What about Hotch? And Zio Rossi?”

JJ frowned “They really wanted to come, they swear, but Strauss called them in for a last minute meeting. Something about paperwork. They say they're so sorry, but if you let Spencer and Emily come they want them to film it?”

You tried not to let the relief show on your face. It was your dream to work in the FBI and if Hotch, someone with an incredible amount of power (at least to you), saw you get absolutely clobbered you weren't sure if you could ever go back. At least with your pride. 

“That's okay!” You said “Tell Spencer and Emily to come! If Abby's still working ask if they can bring some more waters down, I'm worried I might need the coldness for a makeshift ice pack,”

You didn't want Morgan to hear how nervous you were. It worried you that he might go easy on you when you needed him to push your limits. 

“Got it! I'll text them right now,” JJ turned back to her phone and you watched Morgan hype himself up “Rossi said we can have dinner with everyone at his place, and Spencer and Emily are 10 minutes away,”

“Awesome sauce, thanks JJ,”

“Anytime,”

You unwound your tape, JJ said it would be good to stretch your hands, and you flexed your fingers. Yelling over your shoulder that you were going to the bathroom. 

“One last nervous pee, I got this,” you whispered to yourself

It was about a half hour or so after closing, but the bathrooms were still open. You looked yourself up and down in the mirror and took a breath to steady your nerves. While you were studying your posture JJ walked in. 

“Hey, Morgans already in the ring. Emily and Spencer are there too. I'm gonna give you some pointers, okay?”

You nodded. Splashing your face with cool water and watching JJ through the mirror reflection. 

“Okay. I think this goes without saying but no hits below the belt, no matter how much Reid paid you off,” you laughed out loud and nodded your head “Alright. I'm gonna be telling you pointers but really you're the one in the ring. You're the one that gets final say, does that make sense Y/n?” You nodded your head “Great. So if you want to do something I didn't tell you to, that's totally okay. And I'm not going to be choreographing your entire fight. This isn't a dance routine. Just tips, does that make sense?”

“Mhm, yea. Keep going,”

“Excellent. This is a one round kinda thing, just whoever taps out first loses. I've never really hosted my own boxing match so we're all learning today!”

You nodded. Getting hyped up. 

“Alright. I'm gonna walk you out, you got this. I believe in you. Kick some sweet sweet Morgan Ass,”

“Deal,” You responded. 

You walked out of the bathroom and into the ring, seeing Morgan taping up his fingers, and you mirrored his actions. Once your fingers were taped up you flexed them, and pulled on your boxing gloves. 

“Ready?”

You looked over at JJ and winked “Ready as I'll ever be,”

You climbed into the ring, and into the corner across from Morgan who winked at you. You smiled smugly back and looked over at Spencer and Emily, blowing them a kissy face and a smile. 

JJ called to start the match and you went over to Morgan, keeping your fists up and close to your face. You let Morgan take the first hit and you dodged it, going for a jab on his torso. You hit him and heard your “fans” cheering for you. You fought the urge to look over but in your distraction, Morgan got a cross punch on your torso. You felt the hit but with your adrenaline pumping, if anything, it got you more fired up. Morgan paired his cross punch with a jab. JJ kept yelling encouragement so you wouldn't let go but combined with her yelling, your fan club, and the blood rushing through your ears it all went in one ear and out the other 

“An effective 1-2...” Flitted briefly in your mind. And your eyes went to his. Open face.. “Rookie mistake!”

He left his face unprepared for just a second too long and you took the hit. You threw a hook across his face and Morgan went down. Obviously not seeing just how vulnerable he left himself. 

“Oh shit!” Emily yelled and you dropped your stance immediately. 

“Morgan! Oh crap, Morgan Morgan Morgan!” You held your hands up to your face. Not to shield yourself, but out of shock (and maybe a little bit of pride) at your hit. “Morgan Morgan, Morgan I am so sorry! Oh my god are you okay?” You looked over at JJ who looked incredibly impressed and then over at Spencer and Emily. Who had definitely just passed a ten dollar bill between them. 

“Doll face,” Your eyes snapped to Morgan “Y/n, I'm okay. That was a good hit, I didn't realize how good you were at boxing! And you swear you've never taken classes?”

You smiled. Glad that he was okay “I haven't-” a thought crossed your mind “Holy smokes did I win!”

A playful groan passed Morgan's lips. And JJ stepped into the ring to announce Morgan's defeat. 

“Holy crap I won! I beat Derek Morgan SSA of the FBI in a boxing match!” You laughed out loud and JJ held up your hand in a proper victory stance. “Spencer! Emily! I won!”

Emily and Spencer both laughed and gave you a high five. You glanced over and saw Morgan pressing a still cool water bottle to the side of his face. 

Morgan walked his way over to you and that was really when you felt bone dog tired. “Good job, kid,” He smiled and put his arm around your shoulder taking a look at the group “Can't believe a teenager rocked my shit..” he almost mumbled to himself.

“Oh my chocolate thunder..!” You heard Penny yell. Once she saw Morgan’s face her shock was well written “Does it hurt?” 

Penny went to fetch him a fresh bag of frozen peas, when you popped up. Already holding a steadily defrosting bag of frozen veggies. 

“I actually think his ego is a lot more bruised than his eye. Hi penny. I hope you aren't too upset that I hurt Morgan..” you trailed off. Now worried that you were going to make her upset. 

“Oh not at all, my little boxing champion! This nice tall glass of water can take a hit, I'm proud of you, y/n/n, really,” Penny smiled at you and took a reach for your veggies

You gave them to her with a smile and waved goodbye. Off to see how your Zio was doing. 

“Passerotto!” Your Zio Rossi spotted you before you did and engulfed you in a hug. He pressed a kiss on to your forehead and smoothed a bit of your hair back against your head “I saw what you did to Morgan! I asked Emily if they got a video but they said they were so wrapped up in the atmosphere they weren't able to. But I think you can elaborate enough for us, no?”

You smile and shook your head “In all honesty, I barely even remember. I guess the adrenaline in it all really got a way from me,” What actually happened was you were way too embarrassed to go into detail about you clocking one of Hotch’s finest co workers in front of him “I bet Spencer could help you fill in the blanks!”

“You know, Y/n..” Hotch said “I didn't know you were able to pack such a punch. If it would be okay with your parents and Uncle here, I have a friend that runs a self defense clinic at the Academy if you'd like some more work. I think you'd be a nice fit,”

With Hotch being a man of few words (and even fewer emotions) his slight compliment filled you with pride. “Thank you, Hotch” you smiled at him “I didn't know I had it in me either! I'll ask my parents about the clinic, but I doubt I'd stay long enough here to be a valuable member. Maybe as a summer program!” You added

Zio Rossi's oven’s beeping cut you off short. He went to tend to his lasagna, your favorite, and waved you all to seat yourselves at the table. You found yourself sandwiched between Spencer and Emily at the circular dining table. Out of all the dining areas in your Zio Rossi's mansion, this was your favorite for family meals. You were able to really look at one another. With your company next to you, you felt a little short and maneuvered yourself so you were sitting on your legs. Giving yourself an extra few inches of height that made you look a lot more sophisticated if you do say so yourself (which you did). Spencer glanced at your wiggling and wrote you a note in the little journal he always kept with him. 

“I used to do the same thing,” it read and you looked at him and smiled as he winked. 

Almost like magic Zio Rossi appeared holding a very large dish with a gorgeous lasagna in it. You were passed the salad bowl and filled your plate with it. Careful not to let it touch with your other side dishes. You took a sip of lemonade from your wine glass that matched Spencer's. Spencer didn't drink and neither did you. (Although often you would steal a sip of your Zio’s glass “as long as you don't tell your parents,”)

“So Morgan..” your Zio Rossi started once everyone's food was dished out “How does it feel to get.. pardon me if I phrase this wrong, but, absolutely served by my nipote?”  

The table erupted with laughter and you found yourself again beaming with pride. 

“Hey I gotta say, the kids got potential.” Morgan smiled and held out his glass to you “To Y/n!”

“To Y/n!” The rest of the table cheered.

Zio - Uncle

Since the reader was probably brought up with some Italian, they refer to Rossi, their uncle, as Zio. Which is Italian for Uncle. While the rest of the team just calls him “your uncle Rossi” they understand Zio but never really fit right with them. It's yours and your Zio Rossi's little thing

Nipote - Niece/Nephew

Nipote is a gender neutral term for niece or nephew. It can be distinguished with further describing words (Ex. “Mia Bella nipote”, my beautiful niece or “Mio nipote” my nephew) it's like Spanish! 

Passeretto - Little Sparrow

Passeretto is a name used by someone's “Guardian” when their younger influence is growing up and “spreading their wings” (like a Sparrow). I used this as Zio Rossi's affectionate nickname because the reader is learning/learned how to properly box.
