You wake up with Mr. Jeon nestled on you and you blush and thought about how to wake him up gently so you shake him gently and talk gently to him. He must be tired because he isn’t waking up you think of rubbing his head so you reach up to pat him on the head and rub his ears.

He mumbles something but you didn’t hear but he tightens his hold on you. You say “Mr. Jeon, Mr. Jeon, wake up you need to rest in your bed.” You plead with him this time as you felt bad for being weak in your spirits. He finally opens his eyes but slowly, the television is still on and you are hovering above him like an Angel then he asks groggily “Are you really real? If so kiss me.”

You look at him in confusion but kiss his forehead and softly call out to him to let you go to your own bedroom and for him to go to his bedroom. He shakes his head and pouts then you say “We can go to your bedroom, you need to rest your body too.”

So you both slowly walk toward his bedroom and you sit him down onto his bed and ask if he would like to change clothes and he asks in a very tired voice “can you help me?” You nodded your head and helped him without even thinking. You have done this for your grandparents before they….. before they went over the rainbow. After you do that you are about to leave and he shouts “Y/n no! Please… please sleep with me, if you are comfortable.”

You nodded your head, he must of had a nightmare so you tucked him in while you tucked yourself in. You both are about to fall asleep until he snuggles up to you and your cheeks burn the nth time today.

You both end up falling asleep and then after a few hours he wakes up but you’re still snuggling up against his chest and your sleep, he wants to take a picture of you immediately, but he doesn’t want to get up at all.

“Yn..” he softly called out your name, you have to wake up maybe you could go and visit your parents today just to calm them down and give them the reassurance that you are safe with him.

“Sweetheart wake up.” He calls out softly “come on yn wake up and maybe you should go and visit with your parents today.” He says as you finally wake up, you’re rubbing your eyes when he says that.

I’ll get up and cook some breakfast for us while you can just freshen up, and then maybe I’ll go and with my friends today.” He says, smiling at your sleepy figure.

“OK? And if you don’t want to, we could just go somewhere and spend time together!”

Why do I keep seeing transmascs and trans men insisting or implying that all trans men are "female socialized," or "understand the female experience," or "navigated the world as a woman." Because yeah, sure, that can be true for some people. especially if you weren't gnc at all as a kid and didn't crack your egg until well into adulthood, it makes sense.

But they don't stop at saying they had that experience. It always comes with an addendum that trans men, as a group, all can relate to this experience. I don't know about the entirety of my demographic, but I never got even a little bit of what some of them talk about. I didn't even believe that women were scared of going out at night until I kept consistently seeing them say it, online or wherever, for years. I never realized catcalling was a thing until I saw some women complaining about it on reddit.

But they posit it as some sort of, you're safer than cis men, right? You know what it's like? Which, on top of being patently, demonstrably false in the case of myself and many other trans men, holds some unpleasant and often outright hostile implications about trans women. And they always deny it, but if you can't even conceptualize someone like me who grew up gnc, and never got the bulk (or any?) of whatever we consider to be 'female socialization,' what does that say about what you think trans girls went through, growing up? I don't want to speak for them, as I've never experienced that firsthand, but I can guarantee that (if you're even a little bit obviously trans) people don't treat you like a cis kid of the opposite gender. By and large, they don't get treated like cis boys.

It just makes me mad that we're taking this inaccurate framework that (ever so conveniently) puts trans people into the box of our assumed birth gender, and trying to fancy it up and use it with a faux-progressive veneer; never mind the way that transphobes use it to bar trans women from being athletes, or using the bathroom, or having access to any gendered resources they need. It would be bad enough to try and dust it off and use it even if it were largely accurate, due to the aforementioned connections to outright transphobia, but it literally is patently false. Not in all cases, obviously, but why are we trying to revamp this untrue, inaccurate generalization and pretend that we can make it 'trans-inclusive?'

The "Sansa reminds Sandor of his sister" motive that some people try to hitch to his character really just flies in the face of his actual attachments to her, doesn't it? Sansa reminds Sandor of himself. He sees the little boy who used to love knights in this girl who's been swept up by the same romanticism. He sees his abuser in her abusers, the much larger knight(s) beating on the helpless child. He sees how she is betrayed by every level of authority that should have saved her and remembers his father's neglect and Tywin and Robert's apathy for Gregor's crimes. He's protective of Sansa because he was Sansa.

And GRRM's design, that one of the strongest warriors in the series, a fearsome and cynical 6'8" guy who's "muscled like a bull" and has the face of death itself, sees himself in this soft and effeminate teen girl, and empathizes with her because he was an abuse victim too, is INFINITELY more compelling than "Oh yeah I bet she just reminds him of his sister," who he's never mentioned and who we know literally nothing about. Way to unnecessarily water down a character, you couldn't have ignored the black and white text more efficiently if you tried.
