Xenerodiops mycter was an unusual heron from the Oligocene (~30 million years ago) of what is now Egypt.
Known only from a partial skull and an arm bone, it's estimated to have stood around 70cm tall (~2'4") and was probably fairly similar in overall appearance to modern night herons. Its beak was powerfully built and had a distinctive downwards curve, shaped more like some types of stork than other herons – suggesting it may have had a convergently stork-like lifestyle, slowly walking through its marshy habitat probing around for prey and snapping up whatever its beak came into contact with.

ETn dessert une tarte au poires et au caramel
L’automne est une saison magique, où les feuilles changent de couleur et où les fruits d’automne, comme les poires, commencent à faire leur apparition. Le gâteau d’automne à la poire, à la cannelle et au caramel est un dessert parfait pour célébrer cette saison

Avec ses arômes réconfortants de cannelle et sa douceur naturelle des poires, ce gâteau saura réchauffer vos cœurs lors des journées fraîches.
Pour le gâteau :
Poires : 3 à 4 poires bien mûres (comme la poire Williams ou la Comice), pelées, épépinées et coupées en dés.
Farine : 250 g de farine de blé pour un gâteau léger et aéré.
Sucre : 150 g de sucre semoule pour la douceur, et un peu plus pour caraméliser les poires.
Beurre : 100 g de beurre doux, ramolli à température ambiante.
Œufs : 3 œufs, qui aideront à lier les ingrédients et à donner de la structure au gâteau.
Lait : 120 ml de lait entier pour ajouter de l’humidité.
Levure chimique : 1 sachet (environ 10 g) pour faire lever le gâteau.
Cannelle : 2 cuillères à café de cannelle en poudre, qui apportera une chaleur épicée au gâteau.
Sel : Une pincée pour rehausser les saveurs.
Pour le caramel :
Sucre : 150 g de sucre pour réaliser un caramel maison.
Crème liquide : 100 ml de crème entière pour donner une texture crémeuse au caramel.
Beurre : 30 g de beurre pour enrichir le caramel.
Garniture (facultatif) :
Noix ou amandes : 50 g de noix ou d’amandes concassées pour un peu de croquant.
Poudre de cannelle : Pour saupoudrer sur le dessus avant de servir.
Préparation de Gâteau d’automne à la poire
Étape 1 : Préparer les poires
Commencez par préchauffer votre four à 180°C (thermostat 6). Pendant que le four chauffe, préparez les poires. Épluchez les poires et retirez le cœur. Ensuite, coupez-les en dés. Pour éviter qu’elles ne noircissent, vous pouvez les arroser d’un peu de jus de citron. Si vous souhaitez un goût encore plus riche, vous pouvez faire caraméliser légèrement les poires dans une poêle avec un peu de sucre et de beurre pendant 5 à 7 minutes, jusqu’à ce qu’elles soient dorées
Etape 2 ; le caramel
Dans une casserole à feu moyen, ajoutez 150 g de sucre et laissez-le fondre sans remuer jusqu’à obtenir une couleur dorée. Retirez du feu et ajoutez délicatement la crème liquide chaude (attention aux éclaboussures). Remettez sur le feu doux et incorporez le beurre. Mélangez bien jusqu’à ce que le caramel soit lisse. Mettez de côté pour qu’il refroidisse légèrement.
Étape 3 : Mélanger les ingrédients secs
Dans un grand bol, tamisez la farine, la levure chimique, la cannelle et le sel. Cela permet d’éviter les grumeaux et d’assurer une répartition homogène de la levure et des épices.
Étape 4 : Crème de beurre et sucre
Dans un autre bol, battez le beurre ramolli avec le sucre jusqu’à obtenir un mélange crémeux et léger. Ajoutez les œufs un par un en continuant de battre. Incorporez ensuite le lait et mélangez jusqu’à ce que tout soit bien homogène.
Étape 5 : Incorporer les ingrédients
Incorporez progressivement le mélange de farine aux ingrédients humides, en mélangeant délicatement à l’aide d’une spatule. Une fois que la pâte est homogène, ajoutez les dés de poires et mélangez délicatement pour les enrober. Vous pouvez également ajouter des noix ou des amandes concassées à ce stade si vous le souhaitez.

Probabilmente questa foto non la ricorda nessuno, ma ritrae le jeep della celere entrare in piazza Saffi per bloccare il camion della "carovana della solidarietà" organizzato dai lavoratori di Ravenna, giunti a Forlì per sostenere i compagni della fabbrica Mangelli in sciopero. La Mangelli fu il primo sito italiano a produrre cellophane e fibre artificiali e dagli anni ‘30 il principale complesso industriale forlivese. La sua storia è attraversata da scioperi, occupazioni e tumulti anche durante il fascismo, quando ospitava i comitati clandestini di fabbrica e organizzava scioperi contro il regime. Uno di questi, unito alle maestranze delle altre fabbriche di Forlì, in maggioranza donne, si tramutò in corteo che nel marzo del ’44 forzò i cordoni dei militi della caserma in via della Ripa, salvando così 9 giovani dalla fucilazione. Dagli anni ’70 le lotte operaie coinvolsero tutta la città, che scese a fianco dei lavoratori e della loro salute, sempre a contatto con agenti chimici nocivi. Nel ’72 ci fa una grande manifestazione contro il licenziamento di 847 lavoratori. A guidare la protesta erano gli oltre 200 militanti del PCI iscritti alla sezione aziendale “Quattro Martiri.” Già nel giugno del ‘49, 218 operai erano stati licenziati in blocco. Il fatto aveva scatenato la rottura con i sindacati e la decisione di occupare la fabbrica a oltranza. Un gruppo di crumiri aveva consentito però di non fermare la produzione, così gli operai e i cittadini si erano organizzati per bloccare e presidiare gli ingressi. La polizia era intervenuta con grande violenza, caricando i dimostranti e aprendo il fuoco sui lavoratori. Il bracciante Antonio Magrini era stato colpito a un braccio e l’operaia Jolanda Bertaccini era caduta a terra in gravissime condizioni, mitragliata dalla celere. Molti giornali dell’epoca la diedero per morta, ma pare sia sopravvissuta. Alla fine degli scontri, gli arresti furono oltre 120. Nel '77 la chiusura definitiva. Oggi al suo posto c’è un centro commerciale. Resta la vecchia ciminiera in mattoni rossi, una specie di monumento che ricorda un tempo che non c’è più.

EL DIBUJANTE DEL CINE: JOSÉ RAMÓN SÁNCHEZ
Hoy vamos a recordar a un personaje realmente muy curioso y que a través del dibujo y la pintura se acercó al cine. Un artista que dijo de sí mismo: “He sido caricaturista e ilustrador, historietista y pintor, maquetista y escultor, he hecho un poco de todo y lo interesante si tengo que destacar algo en mi trayectoria es que he hecho muchas cosas distintas”. Hoy conocemos y recordamos a JOSÉ RAMÓN SÁNCHEZ (Santander, 1936)
José Ramón Sánchez se inicia muy joven en el dibujo y especialmente en el dibujo publicitario en los famosísimos Estudios Moro de Madrid en 1957. Unos años después comienza a trabajar en el cartel publicitario. Pero cuando Sánchez se da a conocer fue tras la muerte de Franco con los dibujos de los carteles electorales del PSOE en las elecciones de 1977 y 1979. Suya fue también la ilustración de la Constitución de 1978 para los escolares.
Su acercamiento al cine tiene efecto en 1979 cuando realiza la película de dibujos animados El desván de la fantasía junto a Cruz Delgado. Su figura se hace todavía más amplia y famosa para los niños españoles cuando en TVE aparece en los primeros años 80 en los programas Un globo, dos globos, tres globos, junto a Gloria Fuertes, en Sabadabadá junto a Mayra Gómez-Kemp o en Dabadabadá.
En esos años es cuando comienza a plasmar en pintura su gran afición al cine realizando desde entonces y hasta la actualidad varias colecciones:
-La gran aventura del cine: realizada en 1980, compuesto por 120 cuadros y 20 retratos de actores y actrices. Un gran repaso al cine norteamericano de todos los tiempos. Un magnífico libro hoy bastante cotizado en librerías de lance y que me enorgullezco en tener. Aparecen películas como Moby Dyck, La vuelta al mundo en 80 días, El conde de Montecristo, Pinocho, King-Kong, Supermán, La guerra de las Galaxias, El último Mohicano, Rio Rojo. -50 años de cine español: 29 cuadros de 29 películas españolas seleccionadas por el pintor. -La vuelta al cine en sesión continua. -Me enamoré de una máscara: dedicada a Lon Chaney. -Amores del cine. -Transiciones: 30 retratos de estrellas del cine; 24 de personajes y 6 de parejas. Aparecen retratos de Chaplin, Clark Gable, Brando, Orson Welles, Buster Keaton, Greta Garbo, y, asimismo, por parejas de película: Spencer Tracy - Katharine Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart - Ingrid Bergman, Ava Gardner - Burt Lancaster, Liz Taylor - Montgomery Clift y el propio Bogart con Lauren Bacall.
Este acercamiento de un cartelista publicitario al mundo del cine lo define él mismo como: “El cine es mi sueño desde niño y no he tenido los condicionamientos, grandes o pequeños, que te puede dar el cartelismo industrial”. José Ramón Sánchez ha sido pintando hasta la actualidad y presentando exposiciones por toda España.
A su hijo Daniel le preguntaron en una ocasión “¿Y tú por qué no pintas?” A lo que respondió “Para mí hablar de pintura es hablar de mi padre. Pero hablar de mi padre, es hablar de cine. Gracias por enseñarme lo que es el arte. Gracias, papá, por enseñarme a mirar”. Y es que, con los antecedentes del padre, su hijo no podía ser otro que Daniel Sánchez Arévalo (AzulOscuroCasinegro, Gordos, Primos, La gran familia española).
Dejo para el final una crítica anónima desde Zaragoza de su película El desván de la fantasía, que evoca el tiempo de José Ramón Sánchez en aquellos ya lejanos años 80:
“Buenos, buenos recuerdos, me trae este desván. El papá de Daniel Sánchez Arévalo ahora es mucho menos conocido que el hijo. Realmente ahora nadie conoce a José Ramón Sánchez. José Ramón Sánchez dibujó el cine de los que queríamos iniciarnos en el cine allá por los años 80. Dibujaba a los hermanos Marx o el incendio de Lo que el viento se llevó. Eso lo hacía en un programa de televisión. Antes había firmado esta simpatiquísima película acerca de los misterios que para un niño suponía subir al desván, pero no un desván cualquiera, sino al de la fantasía. Y eso, si eres niño, es mucho. Las imágenes, los dibujos, mejor dicho, de José Ramón, y si le llamo así parece que le llamo como al poeta, se han convertido, se convertían al verlos semana tras semana, en iconos de la televisión, la española, que era la única que había, y la mejor, no porque no hubiera otra sino porque de verdad era lo que tenía que ser: una magnífica cadena. Los nietos, el abuelo, la canción, por Dios, que no se me olvida y ni se me olvidará. ¿Ñoño, a estas alturas, recordar estas cosas? No, como en el tenis dirían. El desván de la fantasía era un divertimento semanal, que se esperaba con emoción. Pero eso fue después de la película, que básicamente juega con los mismos elementos y personajes. Condensados en 75 minutos se le perdonan falta de ligazón entre las historias, prima el contenido, cosa a la que José Ramón Sánchez ofrecía mucha importancia. Como en una viñeta. Razón por la cual, y por tantas otras, hay que darle las gracias a su creador y factotum. Muchas gracias, José Ramón”.

La Maison Pommery. “Qualitè d’abord”, la qualità innanzitutto, fu il motto di Madame Pommery quando nel 1858, prese le redini della Maison. Creò con grande successo il primo champagne “brut”, secco, dalla leggendaria annata del 1874 sconvolgendo la Londra vittoriana di allora. Il mercato inglese era quello maggiormente di punta e la nostra vedova riuscì a portare il dosaggio zuccherino a 6/7 grammi litro. Lo champagne si produceva ancora dolce con tenori zuccherini che oggi classificheremmo extra- dry o addirittura dry.
Altra mossa vincente di Madame Pommery fu l’acquisizione di 120 cave sotterranee di gesso scavate in epoca romana (profonde oltre 60 metri), allora in periferia sud di Reims (oggi in centro città) che furono riempite fino alla profondità di 30 metri e collegate tra loro con cunicoli, passaggi, rese abitabili con diverse prese d’aria.
La visita inizia scendendo i 116 gradini che portano il visitatore direttamente alla massima profondità (30 metri con una umidità rilevata del 98%).
Da qui un percorso guidato che porta l’ospite, meglio definirmi turista, alla conoscenza di un mondo operativo “da miniera”, con luci tenue di candele o simili, carrucole con cesti che servivano a trasportare i grappoli da pressare con i torchi e procedere con le tecniche conosciute allora.
Interessante è la storia della cava di Notre Dame, chiamata così per la presenza di una statua della Vergine, “Notre-Dame des Crayères” , posta a vegliare su questo mondo sotterraneo.
Nella profondità della cave sono presenti tutte le condizioni per far raggiungere al vino la maturità necessaria con un perfetto regolatore termico. Temperatura costante di 10°.
E mentre si osservano le opere d’arte poste di sala in sala, meglio dire di cava in cava, il silenzio viene interrotto dal rumore dei carrelli elevatori trasportanti le bottiglie pronte per il remuage con i potenti gyropalette.
Interessanti i nomi dati alle singole cave.
Riportano nomi di città a significare i luoghi nel mondo raggiunti dal marchio Pommery. Impressionanti i numeri che provengono da questi cunicoli: 25 milioni di bottiglie giacenti sui lieviti.

Os dados a seguir apontam os cinquenta países mais perigosos onde o cristianismo é proibido, cuja população destes países corresponde a um total aproximado de 3,75 bilhões, frente a uma população mundial de 8 bilhões. A Índia e a China contribuem com 1,4 bilhões; no último, os poucos cristãos passam por um fortíssimo controle do Estado. Só no continente africano, mais de um terço dos países, ter uma Bíblia, praticar sua fé ou dar sinais de uma atitude cristã, é uma sentença de morte não apenas para si, mas também para toda a família.
Junto a este espantoso número de pessoas, cerca de 80 a 120 milhões de europeus são ateus, em um continente com uma população de aproximadamente 450 milhões.
Irmãos, chegamos à conclusão de três grandes milagres: ter a palavra de Deus escrita, ter a liberdade de lê-la e praticá-la fielmente. Pergunte a si mesmo: quanto do seu tempo tem dedicado a este milagre? Règles :
1. Bois un verre d'eau toutes les heures, tu te sentiras remplie.
2. Bois de l'eau très froide même glacée, ton corps devra brûler plus de calories pour ramener l'eau à une température digérable.
3. Bois 3 tasses de thé vert tous les jours, ça boost le métabolisme et en plus c'est un excellent anti-oxydant qui aide à avoir une belle peau.
4. Prends des vitamines tous les jours.
5. Mange de la glace quand tu as faim, ça fait croire au corps qu'il mange mais sans les calories.
6. Fais de l'aérobie quand tu sens que tu vas craquer.
7. Mange de la nouriture épicée, ça aide à hausser le métabolisme.
8. Prends de longues douches froides, ton corps doit brûler des calories pour revenir à une température normale.
9. Ne prends pas de laxatifs, ils ne t'aident pas à perdre du poids, ils dérèglent et sont très mauvais pour le métabolisme.
10. Ne prends pas de dirurétiques… Ils ne font que te déshydrater (et même chose que 9).
11. Brosse tes dents très souvent comme ça tu seras moins tentée de manger après.
12. Entoure ta taille avec un ruban ou une écharpe … ça va te serrer quand tu vas manger.
13. Nettoie quelque chose de dégoutant (toillette, litière du chat, la chambre de ton copain lol) avant de manger. Personne n'a envie de manger après avoir nettoyer quelque chose comme ça…
14. Garde tes cheveux en bonne condition comme ça personne ne suspectera rien.
15. Trouve une chose à faire qui te fera t'absenter durant les repas.
16. Fais plus d'exercice que le nombre de calories que tu manges.
17. Utilise de petits plats et de petits ustensiles comme ça tu auras l'impression de manger plus (par exemple, mange dans des assiettes à dessert, elles te paraîtront plus vite remplie…)

34. Mange devant un miroir. Vois comment tu es une grosse cochonne sans volonté…

49. Quand tu as faim bois de l'eau glacée avec du citron et compte jusqu'à 100 dans ta tête, tu n'auras plus faim.
50. Manger 4 repas de 100 calories est mieux qu'un seul de 400.
