AEIWAM ask: Do you have any thoughts about what you're doing with Senjumaru of the Royal Guard? She's the fiber-arts junkie with an extra six arms and as much as I sometimes feel like I need an extra hand when doing spinning or tricky cables, I know I have problems getting my own two hands to work things properly. Since she presumably made them herself, did she also self-create her own mental multi-threading so she can run the things? I get that she's probably supposed to have spider vibes, but the wiki says the arms are prosthetic, not part of her zanpakuto, and probably mentally controlled so idk.

I kid, but I'm a fourth generation fibercraft bitch and a member of three quilt guilds, a knitting circle, friends with sheep, alpaca and Yak farmers and despite knowing stuff only by proxy, modify if not outright make a lot of my clothes. Shutara is to me, the platonic ideal of all those Fibercraft Bitches. She's insanely technically competent, generous (You're Getting A New Fit Whether You Want It Or Not) and absolutely ready to engage in spectacular and inventive violence.

They both had people tell them to slow down and get to know each other and we all know how that turned out. I’d say she’s back to where she started when they met but she’s not. She doesn’t have a blog like the Tig (it wasn’t big but it was something and it had a focus). Yes, she’s given out jam but that’s it, there is nothing else so far. ARO is just a website right now. Yes, her house is bigger, but if rumors are true, it’s not insurable due its location (fires and mudslides) and its daily maintenance costs have to be a drain. Yes, she has a title but no one cares about it except her. Yes, she’s more well known now but does not have a good reputation in several countries and most people just aren’t interested.

As for him, for as awful as he’s shown himself to be, he did give up pretty much everything for her. Again, it was a choice he made even after his friends and family warned him. I’m not surprised he’s floundering now.

I wonder if they’ve had moments of whether or not this marriage and all it entails is worth it. Sometimes getting what you wish for comes at a price.

I think Meghan still thinks everything she’s gone through has been worth it. Her life has completely changed - she has a $14 million mansion in Montecito, she’s besties with the Kardashians, she’s spent private time with the most iconic royal family, she has designer clothes, she has people working for her, she gets to talk about herself, she has her own Netflix show and a podcast, and she gets to travel for free around the world on other people’s money.

Remember where she was in 2015 when this started: a 2-bedroom rental condo in Toronto, a job she wasn’t very important in, Canadian socialite friends that no one in the US knew at all, mall clothes, a blog no one followed, she had to talk about work instead of herself, and she had to pay for her own traveling (which she subsidized through her blog that no one really paid attention to)a

Yeah, she also has money problems and a husband who doesn’t give two cents about the way he looks and smells (allegedly) and her kids are the subjects of some nasty conspiracy theories. But all that can be ignored with “out of sight, out of mind.” So she doesn’t really see this as consequences, the way you or I would.

She loves this life. She loves that people know who she is and she loves that we have opinions of her. It doesn’t matter if we love her or hate her, as long as we feel something about her. Indifference will be what kills Meghan; we see this in the way the BRF and Hollywood bigwigs are treating her. They’re completely indifferent to her and what she does and it’s fun to watch her scramble and beg for their attention.

Unlike Harry. Harry wants to be loved and respected. He wants us to fall over ourselves in worship and praise of his name. Indifference kills him too, but hatred and dislike are even worse. That’s what William does - he’s not indifferent to Harry, he’s actively staying away and making his dislike known by refusing to meet with him or answer his phone calls.

So Harry sees the consequences of this marriage much more than Meghan does because he has literally lost everything; he lost the status that made people respect him, he lost the friends that liked him, he lost a public that adored him, and he lost the family that loved him.

That’s why Meghan has to be really strategic with the divorce, if she’s the one who leaves. Harry has literally and metaphorically given everything up for her. She’s going to have a very hard time convincing the court of public opinion that she’s miserable being attached to Harry because of all that he’s lost and gave up for her.

Post War Clone Careers

Some of them bc I’m full of ideas:

Up first, personal trainer

While they may not know much, they know how to stay fit and mostly healthy. Many who are very sociable and extroverted take up this career as a chance to help others better themselves

Some of these clones, while not personal trainers, have taken to vlogs of their workout routines.

Many started this to keep up a challenge with brothers but it ended up becoming for everyone

Different type of clones posted different workouts and routines for their speciality

Stuntmen:

You’re perfectly training for fighting and taking a hit. Stuntman is the way to go for some of the more adrenaline junkie clones that gave up fighting but wanted action

While they don’t stunt double often, when a character is faceless and in need of some badass moves, a clone is the way to go

They became quite popular with many directors wanting their expertise and experience not only on the stunts but also the realism of some plot points

One clone even managed to become a stunt coordinator and worked with many famous directors

Another clone took to vlogging bts of his days and how stunts were done

Many of the Scuba Battalion worked in Aquariums or Scuba tours on different planets. Though most stayed with the Jedi and worked on escorts on water worlds

Vlogging:

While most clones used vlogging to record for their brothers while building a new life, some were able to do it full time

A group of the Coruscant Guard were forced to retire after the war and had to look for work. These four decided to live together in an apartment

One, Jax, wanted to film his journey building his life. He looked for jobs, made dinner, bonded with his brothers, etc

He gained lots of support and his roommates were happy to be filmed.

There was Jax, Marker, Deadshot, and Sunshine. Jax remained the main clone but all were featured and were able to find jobs and Jax pursued vlogging and ended up streaming as well

Another Coruscant Guard was still in active duty, Runt (an exotic breed of massiff) and Trigger were the main focus

Since they were active, they mostly did fun trick videos and information

Once a week they post two videos. One of funny moments of Runt either interacting with civvies or being his dorky huge self. And another of chase moments, petty theives, small time tracking, and crowd control. These are voiced over and the commands for Runt are edited out

In the Scuba Battalion, a trooper named Jellee who’s still active, records different water worlds and his surroundings. Often providing information of the species he sees through his audio. Other troopers wave and help record.

He has a collection of pretty rocks and sea glass

Food!:

The troopers never got real food in the army so they try all different sorts when they can

Three troopers, Seville, Mort, and Risk, document their new experiences

Whether they end up eating the whole meal or gaggin halfway through, their goal is to try every for and flavor combination!

From pickled meats, exotic fruits, animal guts, odd pastries, or the finest of sweet treats

Once they get popular and do it full time, many fans send them foods to try, ranging from recipes to snacks

The trio will also go on trips to different planets and learn to make the food

They end up getting to spend a week trying food on Mandalorian with some of the Royal chefs

They have to take public transport for the first time and vlog the whole experience

‘How bad could it be?’

The transport is 5 hours late, and they left after three (the trip was supposed to be at 10 pm)

They go ‘we can fly our own damn plane!’ And borrow one from the jedi and fly themselves

Turns out the spice tolerance is genetically transferred and they are able to enjoy all the spice!

i love this one it’s about marc like. putting down the pr mask and realizing he can have something for himself…

so! much like our marc, in his youth he was a tiny adrenaline junkie obsessed with motorcycles, valentino rossi, and valentino rossi’s y2k bisexual swag. unlike our marc, he was not allowed to continue racing past a certain age bc he is the crown prince of a nation and it was considered too dangerous for him. he rides too hard, he doesn’t want to put that on alex if anything happens to him, etc

but our brave marc is not a complainer! ever! even when he absolutely should be! so he grits his teeth buckles down and does his duty. for his family. for his country. for his brother. for years. but he still keeps tabs on vale, allows himself that small joy. catches races whenever he can—watching them on his phone in airports and the back of cars all over the world. instagram stalking him like a weirdo. trying to covertly attend races with alex in silly disguises SURROUNDED by security, hat pulled low… a wistful thrill in his stomach as he hears the bikes roar past… eyes on valentino the whole way

and then they meet! marc is in his early twenties and they’re at some party marc hates but he’s keeping the big smile on his face as he greets people and vale (here for sponsorship obligation comma bored) notices him across the room and goes hey. that guys hot and looks equally bored! so he goes up, does a silly bit, and is immediately confronted with a full frontal assault of marc’s big dumb smile and shining eyes <3 also realizes he is a fan IMMEDIATELY even though marc is trying to keep it on the DL which he reallyyyyy enjoys so they spend the whole night snickering in their own little world…

whirlwind romance ensues!! and they have history’s least carbon neutral affair over the next few months with the amount of plane rides they charter anshshsgg… truly marc learning to love life and ignore some of his responsibilities for once… insane sex in expensive hotels bc vale wants to show him a good time… extravagant rich people gifts…. personalized helmet tribute only the two of them get… lots of references to marc in interviews that only marc and him understand. like FULLY inside jokes with themselves excluding the press so the other will smile when they watch the interview later when they’re apart… and the CROWN JEWEL PUN NOT INTENDED: ranch visittttttttt where they have a BLAST. vale gets to excercise his clear love of teaching and praise marc, be impressed with his raw talent on the bike. and marc is. SO happy. looks valentino dead in the eye at the end of the day vale’s big hands on either side of his face and tells him this is the best day of his life… and he looks at vale and loves him SO much but feels so trapped by the monarchy (his advisors know this and have been quietly maneuvering the nation towards democracy… marc does not know this) and something cracks in him and he’s just like. i don’t think i can do this anymore. and vale’s face DROPS and marc’s like. do you want to get married. bc he’s insane <3 and it’s the only way he can think to bind vale to him permanently in a way the monarchy/his duty can’t interfere with… like no one can argue with a royal wedding!

SO THEY ELOPE!!! scandal of the century!!! and then marc’s advisors (everyone say thank you to his fictional advisors who create democracy in a nation not bc it is a better form of government but for pure love of the yaoi game) pass the resolution to change the government and marc is FREE to follow vale around the world and get really good on the bike again and learn that it is OKAY to love things and not sacrifice your whole self at the alter of duty :)

what are your stories for the other Trolls in Kismet?

So I believe because of the Bergens... The village needed a group home for Trollings. That's where Branch met the other guys in Kismet.

During the Royal Engagement Tour they were kinda down coz they thought with Branch becoming King, this was the end of Kismet.

Floyd was able to work with them and develop their performance so that they were more confident performing without Branch.

They tested some of the performances during the tour without Branch and they were a massive hit with the other tribes!

Kismet lives on!

Ablaze

Can't stand the silence for too long and gets bored very easily.

Adrenaline junkie and won't turn down a dare.

A bit competitive, will turn anything into a competition.

Owns and races transportation critters.

Has a girlfriend that is very... shallow. She's very materialistic and everyone notices except for him.

Hype

Gets very excited about everything. Someone's new hairstyle, new flowers in the garden, the smell coming for the bakery? He lives for the small moments!

Married and has a step son. They also have an egg on the way.

He tries his best but the step son doesn't like him.

Like most Glitter Trolls, he and Boom spend a lot of time grooming and primping and taking pride in their looks buuuut Hype is the worst of the two. He carries around a mirror and a comb.

Likes things to be clean and organized. Has collections of things in glass cases to keep them in perfect condition.

Trickee

Knows tonnes of party tricks because he likes being the center of attention . Card tricks, bike tricks etc.

A bit reckless, doesn't know how to pick his battles and will pick fights over petty things.

Bottomless pit. Will try any food handed his way.

Loves creating chaos. Will say something controversial just to get people arguing with each other.

Guy really wants a girlfriend but none of them seem to stick. During the Royal Engagement Tour he is determined to hook up with a Troll from each tribe. He wants the 'tour experience'. It doesn't happen. Sorry bud.

Boom

Is very athletic: he goes to the gym, he plays baseball, coaches kids baseball.

Is the 'mom friend'. Always worried about people and has heaps of things stored in his hair; snacks, bandaids, scrunchies, makeup wipes etc.

Has a reputation of being the 'dumb one' coz he doesn't understand many jokes and he didn't finish highschool.

Is secretly very artistic and creative but hides it coz he worries people will think it's dumb.

As a Trolling his hair was naturally green. 💚 Like other Trollings he couldn't gradient his hair until he was a teenager.
