I started learning ventriloquism back when I was ten years old. I didn’t keep up with practicing it, so I’m not as good as the people you see on tv. But it drives me crazy that people still think you can throw your voice because you can’t. The ventriloquist can make their voice seem like it’s coming from somewhere else by the way they change their voice. For example, speaking with a muffled tone gives the listener the impression that the voice is coming from behind a door, or from inside a box. This article breaks it down
