The Gown Exhibition
Last Friday I visited the DIVA Exhibition at the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, where two of Dame Shirley Bassey’s gowns are on display along with her customised Glastonbury wellies and her 1977 Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist. Yesterday we heard the sad news about the passing of Jack Jones at the age of 86. Shirley Bassey was on the Jack Jones show in 1977 They did a duet of ‘If’ which is a song from her 1977 Album ‘You take my heart away’. Jack Jones was born in Hollywood in 1928 on January 14 and best known for the opening theme song for the television series The Love Boat.
