You're the mother of their teams. The way you always take care of them, bringing some snacks and cookies for the boys and helping them whenever they're injured, makes them happy. You and Yamazaki Sosuke met when you two were treated in a hospital. You overworked yourself and ended up in a hospital, and Sosuke treated his arm. Yamazaki was very nervous these days, because the state of his arm was getting worse, but the meeting with you helped him to make decision and calm him down a little. Your cryptic advices and uncannily wiseness intrigued him. Sosuke wanted to know more about you. He developed his feelings for you after a few meetings. Of course, he slowly but surely started to court you. Sosuke observed you, memorizing all the small details about you, and then surprised you by acts of service or very thoughtful gifts. He was testing the waters by little compliments and vague hints, but unfortunately your heart was already taken by Rin. Even though Sosuke knew that, he confessed you. He wanted to make things clear for you two, at least be rejected and then move on. It was simple and straightforward confession. Sosuke invited you for a walk and confessed in the park, while you were sitting on the bench and drinking the beverages in metal cans. The rejection was expected. Sosuke felt himself a little sad because of it, but he also was happy for his best friend and best rival, who found the love of his life. Some of the most insightful friends, such as Makoto, Rin and Ai, knew about Sosuke's feelings for you. But they also knew that you didn't love him back, so they tried to cheer him up and hope that Sosuke will find his significant other in the future.

headcanon about sousuke:

he smokes.

he picked it up because his pops and older brother smoke; he grew up watching them take breaks behind the family restaurant, saw them light one up in the back alley and thought, "huh. wonder what that's like."

when he first got his shoulder injury and felt stressed out about the possibility of being forced to give up swimming entirely, he felt the urge to steal a stick from his brother's pack. he vaguely recalled his brother saying he "smokes when he's stressed out" when he asked him why he did it once.

he wondered if taking a drag would resolve the tension he felt from everyone staring at him and wondering what he'd do about his future if his shoulder was fucked.

rin saw him light a cigarette in their late teens and gave him shit for it. sousuke had jokingly said, "it's not so bad. here, try one" only for rin to jab him in the ribs and tut at him, saying something about how his late dad would've killed him if he ever gave in to this vice.

"but i get it," rin told him. "if oyaji never warned me about smoking, i'd probably have picked it up too after he passed. the guys in australia would light one up every now and then but, y'know, staying healthy is really important for a swimmer so..."

rin's face had been an amalgamation of guilty yet sheepish, and sousuke hardly blamed him for it.

oh well, he thought, a menthol cigarette pinched between his lips. he cupped a hand around its tip and flicked his zippo lighter open. the cigarette crackled, ash fell onto the floor and the sensation of a short, warm yet cold, sweet release travelled through his veins and into his heart. nicotine was a shitty, addictive substance.

"nanase would kill me if you let me convince you to smoke a pack," sousuke snorted, leaning against the wall with one foot propped up against it.

rin rolled his eyes. "yeah? like you'd let him."

"you're right—i wouldn't."

they laughed. and as sousuke watched the clouds of smoke leave his lips in rings and fog, he told himself he had to quit this if he wanted to return to taking the swimming world by storm again someday.

but quitting was hard.

if it were easy he'd have thrown away his swimsuit.

🫧 After his check-ups, Sousuke also likes to go on walks with you. Just to effortlessly talk and laugh about anything.

Kaede "tsk...... I don't care about that stuff, whatever, " he walks away, but you can clearly see his red ears. "Ahh... you remind me of a stray cat, " you mumble. "Huh?! " He WhipsHis head back to you. " Oh, nothing...♡ " You walked away while chuckling to yourself. "The hell so funny!"

Asahi: " Huh?!.. well coming from you it make me think I'm special" he blushes. "Aww, your reaction is so cute, Asahi," you teased. "I want to hear more of your encouraging words." he wraps his arms around you.

Headcannons to style five if their boxer s/o nearly died in the ring (TW):

Makoto:

Man was stressed! Once he saw you go down and not come back up, he was jumping out of his seat.

Being a guy who's usually quiet he was yelling at the top of his lungs to the ref, to your coach to do something.

Once the medics rushed into the ring, he was right next to you, eyes scanning your still body.

Your poor face was bloodied and swollen, black and blue covered almost every inch as he felt sick to his stomach.

Refused to leave your side as you were rushed to the ER and made sure you had the best care.

Held your hand the whole time you were in the hospital.

When you finally woke up, he peppered your face in kisses.

You took a hiatus from boxing after the incident and Makoto was grateful for it.

Haru:

He remained quiet as he watched the match. His eyes never leaving your form as you kept getting knocked down your blood splattering the boxing ring mat.

Once he saw you go down and not get back up, he leapt up and ran to your side of the ring pushing your manager to the side and climbing in.

your opponet was freaking out as they kicked you in the side of the neck and you just went down. The medics hurried since it could be a spinal injury at that point.

He remained at your side while you were through physical therapy and surgery after surgery to correct the damange done.

Helped you do basic tasks while you recovered and made sure you were comfortable.

He knew you wanted to go back to the ring, but flashbacks to you laying unmoving in the ring flashed through his mind.

You both talked about it and you decided to take a little break from boxing to focus on yourself and Haru's relationship.

Haru made sure to hold you closer every night after that, still frightened about what happened with you.

Rin:

When he saw you go down hard and not come back up, he was scared as he ran up to your manager demanding answers.

He saw your bruised and battered body unmoving in the ring as tears sprang to his eyes. Seeing you like this was terrifying, the thought of losing you like this.

He held your cold, limp hand in his all the way to the hospital, kissing it and muttering to you to wake up.

Due to the damange, you were in a coma, seeing you hooked to all of those machines got to Rin. He hated seeing you like this.

Rin talked to you every day while you were in your coma. Telling you about what was happening with your guys' friends, how your parents were doing, what they brought you and all the things you two would do when you woke up.

After three week, you finally woke up from your coma and had to go through various tests and therapy which he was there with you through it all.

When Rin brough you home he made sure to take care of you since you were still recovering. He was clingy for good reasons.

After talking to Rin you decided to take a long break from boxing after you incident and he was grateful for it.

Rei:

He never worried about you in the ring, he knew something bad would have to happen and you were a great boxer, you were unmatched.
