Reverend Robert Kirk was born on December 9th 1644 at Aberfoyle.
Kirk was the seventh and youngest son of James Kirk, minister at Aberfoyle, Perthshire. He studied theology at St Andrews and received his master's degree at Edinburgh in 1661. He became minister of Balquhidder in 1664, and later of Aberfoyle, from 1685 until his death in 14 May 1692.
Robert Kirk is best known for his book “The Secret Commonwealth of Elves, Fauns, and Fairies” in 1691. In his book Kirk tells stories about folk who had contact to fairies including himself. Kirk also believed that the local Doon Hill was the gateway to the world of the fairies, also described as “The Secret Commonwealth“. Kirk is also known as the first person to translated the bible into Gaelic.
Reverend Kirk was a former resident of the Old Manse which is situated nearby the Fairy Knowe. The same house is known for the place where Sir Walter Scott wrote his famous poem “The Lady of the Lake“.
Not much off a story as such, but it was what happened after his death that is the bones of this post.
Having collapsed on Doon Hill during the night he was carted home and died of a suspected heart attack, but It is said that Reverend Kirk actually didn’t die on the hill but was carried away by the fairies. Thereafter Reverend Kirk appeared as a vision in front of his cousin Graham. He told him that he was not dead and that he would appear at the christening of Graham’s child. For Reverend Kirk it would be the only way to come back to life. When he appeared at the christening, Graham was to throw an iron dagger over Kirk. This would release him from captivity. Graham was too scared though and couldn’t do it. Now it is believed that Reverend Kirk’s soul is still inside the lone Scots Pine tree on Doon Hill.
His walks to Doon hill started usually from the church or The Manse. Doon hill is also known as “Fairy Knowe” or “Dun Sithean”. Locally the fairies have the name “Sithe”. The fairy walk leads to the conical hill which is situated in a relatively flat landscape by Aberfoyle.
Second two pics are his his grave at Aberfoyle

Reverend Robert Walker
Artist: Sir Henry Raeburn (Scottish, 1756-1823)
Title: Reverend Robert Walker (1755 - 1808) Skating on Duddingston Loch
Date: About 1795
Medium: OIl on Canvas
Collection: Scottish National Gallery, Scotland
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
This serene skater is thought to be the Reverend Robert Walker, minister of the Canongate Kirk and a member of the Edinburgh Skating Society. The club - the oldest of its kind in Britain - usually met on the frozen lochs of Duddingston or Lochend on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Walker's pose, as he glides across the ice, looks effortless, but would have been recognised by fellow skaters as a difficult and sophisticated manoeuvre. This small picture, showing a figure in action, is quite unlike other known portraits by Raeburn. The painting is commonly known as The Skating Minister.

@bishop-percival
(Previous) Bishop Percival briefly looked unimpressed before forcing a smile at Bowtie while he asked his questions. Why wasn’t he surprised this nosy dork was the first one to start yapping? “Good questions, Bowtie! While there’s no putting even an estimate on when I’ll officially accomplish this, I can say with confidence that I am very far in my progress. This is evidenced by the crazy strong magic abilities I can wield!” Then Percival dropped his smile as he unfortunately didn’t find flattery in Bowtie’s last question. “And no. Not right now.” After the bishop’s last answer, another hand shot up. Instead of immediately voicing her question, though, Autumn stood to reverently bow in the hopes they wouldn’t sound so accusatory. “Your Excellency, I ask this with respect but… Why’ve you kept quiet about this for so long?” Bishop Percival nodded in understanding. “Good question, Specs! You of anyone surely remember that futile little insurrection a few years ago, right? That was all because they were jealous of me simply being magical. And so I wanted to wait until I was sure I could trust you, my current band of faithful ones, to not get yourselves in another violent jealous tizzy over this! And also to wait until..,” Percival hammered his fist into his palm, “I’m powerful enough to stamp such a thing out faster.” Autumn bowed again and responded with, “I see…” She then sat back down. Mike briefly fidgeted with his thumbs before forcing himself to stop.
The only response Bishop Percival got from that nosey dork was a simple thumbs up before Bowtie buried his nose in his notebook again. Fortunately he seemed to be done yapping for the night. If he noticed Bishop Percival’s annoyance he didn’t give a damn.
Theodore grew increasingly tense as Bishop Percival went on about the insurrection, and flinched when he brought his fist down. At least he was among those he trusted... But he had a hunch that he was on thin ice.
He looked at Miriam, then glanced at Mike too late to see him fidget before returning to taking notes.

I like your Reverend OC. I have a priest OC as well. Can you introduce us to your OC Reverend's friends? Or share other moments you've written about him. However, feel free not to answer if you prefer.
I want to fully write out the SCP campaign, but right now we only have the general timeline. From there maybe I’d do a comic, but we’ll see :))
