I saw a wonderful post with 1500 yo merlin that time travel back to Camelot & he hates the fact that there is no coffee, no plumbing,...
But
Hear me out.
Merlin and post return Arthur that BOTH came back to Camelot but it's Arthur that HATES it
Arthur that lived for 30 years in the modern world & got used to it (but at the same time not totally because Merlin is an old man and his home look a lot like your grandpa's home if your grandpa was 1500 yo if you see what I mean. )
Arthur that simply can not live without his morning coffee and simply hates the fact that Merlin doesn't need it (the peak of being a warlock)
Arthur that got used to live in a magical house that was 100% rats-free (except for that two 150 years old pet rats that Merlin keeps, don't ask him. Arthur stopped asking questions about sorcerer and their familiars when Merlin's Owl began to speak. It's rats free where it matter aka NOT in his (their) bed) AND kind of half alive magical house (what do you mean he has to GET UP and ASK to someone to get his warm bath?!)
Arthur that lived his best life with 0 responsibility (except one or two magical quest here and there & the need to feed merlin's (their but Arthur has a dad-getting-a-pet-he-didn't-want behaviour about it) dragons) with his immortal bf/husband/he-is-half-of-my-soul-as-the-poets-say and now has to share his home with other people AND with assholes, spies, assassin's,... Lurking everywhere
Arthur that now understand why Merlin hates it so much when someone think he is a 20 something years old and why he never left the house without his old man/60 years old appearance
Basically Arthur at first being like "it's so nostalgic :D" then "Merlin, I don't care what you do, I want our home back😩... What do you mean we CAN'T!?! I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS?!? "
(this post is somewhat a fellow-up from Merlin actually living for 1500+ years and kind of merlin not looking 20 years old because he is old)

Godric Gryffindor (Pendragon)
Curiosities about Arthur and Merlin's eldest son:
Godric is the eldest child.
Despite being the eldest, Arthur does not expect his son to be the next king, knowing it would be too much pressure for such a young boy.
Godric loves to sing. When Rowena goes out to drink in the taverns, Godric always accompanies his sister to sing with the drunken knights.
Godric has the same stubbornness and courage as Arthur, and the generosity and loyalty of Merlin.
Gwen is his favorite person. Godric admires Gwen's courage and kindness and is greatly inspired by her.
Godric's armor is forged from Arthur's old armor.
The Sword of Gryffindor is Excalibur, which Arthur gave to his son after retiring and passing the throne to his children.
As a child, Godric liked to hang onto Arthur's leg, and his father would walk around the castle with him, making him laugh.
Godric is asexual and gender-fluid. He discovered this after talking to his uncle Leon and questioning whether it was normal not to feel attractions like his sisters and brother.
Leon and Arthur are his inspirations. Godric aspires to be as good a knight as Leon and as great a leader as his father.
After Gaius's "death," Merlin, Godric, Rowena, Helga, and Salazar enchanted an old hat to speak and act like Gaius, which became the Sorting Hat.
Godric likes poetry, although his poetry is terrible.
His favorite colors are all colors.
Godric is afraid of insects.
His pet is a yellow kitten.
Godric and Rowena are the only ones with curls like Merlin's, so their mother taught them both to care for their hair to always look nice. He and Rowena spend hours taking care of each other's hair.
He and Rowena are the only siblings with the ability to change their body's gender like Merlin does.
Godric and Basil have a rivalry. Godric is jealous of the time Salazar spends with the basilisk, and Basil dislikes Godric because Salazar leaves him with Godric when he needs someone to look after him.
Godric is very affectionate and friendly, so despite his almost identical appearance to his father, everyone who knows him tends to compare him to Merlin.
Godric is dyslexic, which often becomes a problem in battles because he has difficulty with directions. When someone shouts "Right!" or "Left!" Godric often turns the wrong way.
He is also colorblind, which leads to amusing situations when he dresses for a ball where he should wear red but ends up in pink or orange.
Godric has trouble reading but loves when his mother or siblings read to him.
Dancing is his favorite thing after fighting.
Like his mother, Godric is very clumsy, which is why he has many scars and wounds on his body.
Since he is always getting hurt, Godric started training with Gaius to learn healing spells.
Godric has a habit of collecting pieces of armor from fallen knights in battle. It may be morbid, but Godric finds it honorable.
Merlin and Godric love spending nights talking about spells or simply gossiping about the knights.
Hogwarts was founded after Arthur's death when the siblings were 30 and their father was already old at 60 years.
Godric was the one who had the idea to found Hogwarts because he missed home but didn't have the courage to return without his parents being alive. The crown was passed to Merlin, but after his "death," Camelot weakened without its kings, leading to the kingdom's fall.
Godric was the second sibling to die.
He and Rowena wrote the Hogwarts anthem.

Siblings socials: The beast's lair
Fandom: BBC’s Merlin (post-canon, modern magic) AU AU: The Pendragon siblings return (sequel: modern magic) Series: Siblings socials — [ Reblogs > Likes | No AI involved ] —
You thought Arthur, being a former king, would always be the master in any couple or pairing? Well, think better. Morgana is more than willing to prove the world that is Merlin the serval who commands between the two.
———————————————————————————————
Morgana, the famed once Queen of Camelot and socials star, has taken her duties of chronicling her brother Arthur's adjusting to the modern world very seriously. If she has a chance to humiliate him, in face of the legendary epitome of noble warrior built around him during the centuries, she will do it gladly, not even hiding a smirking during the whole time. As socials love cats, who is she to deprive the socials from pics of Merlin the grumpy serval? The fact that Arthur is sleeping in an idiotic pose on the background is just a bonus point.
More about the AU under the cut. (More fanworks from this AU at the links above) (More fanworks about the prequel here)
———————————————————————————————
About the AU The story is a sequel to the The Pendragon Sibling. Eventually, the druid give the royal couple a serval as gift for their renowned peace between the throne and the magic people. The servan turns out to be a very magical boy. At the same time Morgana acquires a puma, who happens to be the disguise of an High Priestess. I elaborated a bit here. * Not even the union of the Pendragon siblings, as King of Lands and Queen of Avalon and royal couple ruling over Camelot, with Morgause the High Priestesses of the old religion and Emrys the immortal dragonlord as their shadows and mates, is enough to prevent Arthurs tragic end at Camlann at the hands of the traitor Mordred. After Camlann, Merlin withdraws in his own pain, while Queen Morgana rules wisely for the next decades, assuring that the golden age of Camelot continues. When the time to retire from the mortal life comes, Morgana, with her loyal companion Morgause and Merlin, retires on the island at the center of the lake Avalon, taking residence in the tower standing there. Centuries pass, between long sleeps and new lives in the world outside. But magic, for a series or undisclosed circumstances, have been slowly fading in the lands outside of Avalon since the Siblings balance was lost with the death of Arthur. The more they are away from the island, center of the Old Magic, the more the contact is faint, and both Morgause and Merlin feel the need to stay in their animal forms. Until magic is so weak that they are stuck in their animal form even when staying at the tower. In the 21th century Morgana is following an academic career. Every morning, during breakfast, she keeps the tv on to make some background sounds. One morning the BBC's morning program suddenly switches to a live from the town of Avalon, for news about some odd happenings at the lake. The country wonders if this is the day when King Arthur will finally raise. There has been many false alarm. This morning is different, though. Morgana, with her two felines, rushes to the lake through magic and is there to see Arthur emerge from the waters. Merlin, a one-century-and-half ancient serval, attacks everyone present, Arthur included, and Arthur himself is forced to draw Excalibur to suffuse the situation, before his sister is arrested and his feline mate put down as the rabid cat he is. After the necessary time to familiarize with a world that is completely different from the one he remembers, Morgana introduces Arthur to the marvels of the socials and together they become Twitter stars, entertaining people with their commentaries on Arthurian-related productions and their bickering. Between Morgana's interviews and bits shared by Arthur on socials, the world is revealed that the Matter of Britain is mostly made of lies and exaggerations. BBC reaches out to Morgana to collaborate to write a series that would tell the true story of the Pendragons. Morgana launches herself in the project with eagerness. As the search for a proper location to set Camelot is about to start, Morgana hints that she might has the original castle miniaturized and preserved by magic and she would be amenable to make available as set, as long as the production covers the costs of restoration. Thus the Pendragons get their old nest back restored to its golden days free of charge, and Arthur can return to live in his natural habitat. Eventually, the true identity and nature of the felines, believed to be just animals given immortality by magic and relics of the golden age of Camelot, will be revealed, But that's another story for another time.
———————————————————————————————
Notes Initially, this - the original screencap minus the serval - was supposed to be an Instagram-mock shared by the Merlin of the National Treasure instagram AU, but I didn't have the text ready and was thus stuck since 2018. Some months ago I decided to switch the poster from Merlin to the Morgana of this AU. It made no sense for Morgana to share a pic of her sleeping brother without Merlin the serval around, so the idea of putting a serval on the bed came. Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip) A nightmare. I couldn't find a serval pic that fit with the perspective required. And when I did, they came with dark shadows on their legs I couldn't fix. So I had to use the blankets to mask here and there, which came with another challenge on its own. Instagram graphic made all by-hand, with much moving/copy/pasting and, especially, a wearying research to find out which font the website used. No template site. Since I created my own template, it won't reflect any future changes the platform might make (I have no intention of modify my template).

Plagued With Love (Merthur)
(TW: Mentions of suicide, child neglect/abuse, nothing is SUPER explicit but it's there, so stay safe, always.)
Basically, a concept I came up with: Merlin and Arthur are each other's other halves, per a Druid prophecy, a prophecy which has been horrendously mistranslated by the Pendragon line.
Arthur's knights have been told, been tasked with killing Merlin, and Arthur must finally tell them the truth of his circumstance, and not the one that has been forced upon him by blood.
When the time has come
That order will fall, and chaos
Will assume it’s rightful throne,
A golden prince will be born to
A fearsome king, and he will be
Different—
Plagued with love.
This translation of Arthur’s fate is piss-poor, but he knows how it echoes in the minds of his knights. They have finally been told of his so-called fate, the fate that has guided his entire life, and since hearing it, they have been quiet.
Eerily so.
The true word of the ancient druids is far more complicated, but it is not unlike old rulers to twist the word of magic and make it sour. Kings are scared of what they cannot control.
So they banish it instead.
But Arthur didn’t know this, and his mother and father did not know this, so when he was born golden—blond, unlike a single prince before him—they knew what they must do.
His father elected to kill him, but his mother would not have it. They argued—he bellowed and she begged. The physician intervened and Uther slit his throat. His mother wept. She pleaded.
She offered an alternative.
It was decided then that the only way they could defy prophecy and spare their child’s life was if they did not love him.
And so Arthur grew away from his parents, surrounded by faceless servants who were rotated lest they form an attachment. He cannot imagine how he might have turned out if he had had no love at all—cold. Unfeeling and lacking empathy beyond reason. He might have been ruthless, he might have been damned.
But, like his mother, fate had intervened.
Arthur was only 8 when the boy appeared in the kitchens with him, big blue eyes and a shock of dark hair—he remembers being jealous, then, because even at that age, he had already heard the whispers—
Golden, like the sun.
It never darkens, not even in winter.
It is true what they say—he is cursed.
Cursed. Arthur clung to that, back then. He was cursed, he was plagued—he was somehow evil and it was his fault his father could not look at him, that his mother had struggled so deeply and taken her life when he was much younger. Every part of him was bad, so bad that he was not worth staying around for. He could not even mean something to the people who fed and bathed him and slipped him books to read.
He was nothing.
And then Merlin.
Arthur had been startled by him, as he was peeking out of a cupboard, somewhere he should not be—Arthur had been reprimanded many times for hiding in places like those, and he knew better, now.
But here was this boy, peeking out at him with a finger to his lips.
It started slowly, quietly. Merlin—or as Arthur knew him, the boy, would appear in places he was not meant to be, always watching and smiling at Arthur as though Arthur were meant to smile back.
Arthur never did, not then.
He had meant to ask someone, one of his servants, whether or not the boy was staff or someone’s child, but every time he thought of it, he couldn’t bring himself to. He did not overtly enjoy Merlin’s presence, and often times it disturbed him greatly that nobody seemed to notice him, but he worried that if he were to tell, he would never see Merlin again.
And Merlin was the only one who had been constant. Everyone else, a tumultuous wave of different faces, ones he almost never recognized.
But the boy stayed the same.
For two entire years.
It was just after Arthur turned ten—maybe a week or less, that when he retired to his chambers one night, he was waiting there, cross-legged on Arthur’s bed. The prince had a passing thought about him looking quite pretty, but it was soon disrupted by panic.
“What are you doing?” he had demanded, “If someone finds you here—“
Arthur cuts off abruptly as the boy presses his fingers to his lips, pulls himself off the bed and slips beneath it. Arthur just watches, stricken, because he doesn’t know what else to do.
Is this boy going to kill him? Surely he would’ve tried by now.
A servant of Arthur’s comes to get him ready for bed, only ever suspicious once, very briefly, when Arthur stammers about not needing a bath that night. Hesitantly, this request is obliged, and makes for a much shorter visit. Arthur watches the servant go, and the door get shut, and by the time he turns back around, the boy is sat on his on his bed as he was before.
“What do you—“
“I’m Emrys,” the boy says, extending a hand, “But you’re meant to call me Merlin.”
Arthur doesn’t know what he means by that, but he can’t bring himself to ask. Instead, he steps forward, all the way up to the bed, and takes Merlin’s hand in his own.
“Alright, Merlin,” Arthur says, teasing, but also testing it on his tongue. It’s new, putting a name to a face. The only names he knows are of his parents, and those are heard only in passing.
Especially his mother’s.
“Why are you here?”
And then Merlin smiles at him, and Arthur feels something stir all the way in his bones—
“I have much to tell you.”
As it turned out, Merlin was tempting fate just as his parents were, and he told Arthur all about it, from how he had stolen away from his mother to come here, about how he was a Druid, about how there was a prophecy, and his father knew the wrong one, but Merlin knew the right one, and then Merlin told Arthur both, and Arthur finally understood why he had always been held a castle's-length away.
It was not because he was bad—it was because his ancestors had framed him that way. Fear of change had stolen his parents from him, stolen everything from him.
But not Merlin.
Merlin stuck around, and they had many nights like this. They became best friends, inseparable in the shadows and writing letters whenever Merlin disappeared back to his people, magic carrying their words between them.
And magic—Merlin taught Arthur of magic, the way it could be weilded with strength, love, and honor. It’s power did not corrupt, it was neither good nor bad—the more Arthur learned, the more he understood, and the more he understood, the more he detested his father and his council.
But did he blame them?
Magic—the druids—had "cursed" his son and in the process, taken his wife. Such misery would convince any man to follow in his father’s footsteps. And in this case, many, many fathers before that.
For a while, Arthur felt angry. Then, like sinking into a warm bath, he only felt pity. His father could not ever know, or accept, the light that could come with magic, and for that, his kingdom, and his heart, would always be weaker than someone’s who could.
Against all odds, Arthur forgave his father, and he loved him. And he loved his mother, too, for sparing his life, for loving him so much she couldn’t bare to keep her own—he wishes she had been stronger, but more than that, he’s grateful for the strength she gave. To save him, to fight for him, to love him despite how it ruined her.
He loves her. He loves her desperately.
At sixteen, when Uther sensed no imminent danger on the horizon, Arthur began training as a knight. Only his peers and his mentors were aware who he was, and why he was here, and they were warned to keep their distance. This did not stop Arthur from becoming great friends with these boys—he just had to go about it very carefully, only speaking kindly in the confines of the armory, only showing his affections by sending gifts, sharing food, nodding short and sweet in the hallway.
These men, unlike the staff, knew not of the prophecy. They were too young, too ignorant, and kept intentionally in the dark.
Until recently, of course.
But all this is just to say Arthur did know love, in many forms, now, and soon these men he called his brothers would know that, if they did not already. And he would have to explain to them, once they stopped to make camp, that the task they had been sent to complete could not be done—because Arthur would not do it.
This conversation is approaching fast.
As the sun begins to set over the horizon, Arthur feels his throat close around the words.
We should stop and rest for the night.
It takes him a few minutes to come around to saying it, only reassured at the notion it would take them a while to gather firewood and start a blaze and eat their breads and soups.
He seems to blink and the time has come.
“I think I—“
“Sit,” Arthur says, and Gwaine freezes, half standing. Slowly, he sinks back down. “We have something to discuss.”
“Sire—“ Leon tries, but Arthur cuts him off as well.
“The prophecy my father spoke to you of—“
“Your highness, all due respect, something that is out of your control does not cast doubt on our loyalties,” Lancelot interrupts, and Arthur knows he means well, so he allows him to finish, “We have known each other since we were boys, and the prophecy has always been—you are no different now than you were then.”
Arthur offers him a small, grateful smile, and then sighs.
“Thank you. But allow me to explain.” Arthur takes a deep breath— “My father’s version of this prophecy has been passed down through many generations of royal family, all of which handled it with agenda, and contempt for that which they did not understand. The idea that magic is a corruptive and chaotic force is a lie that has been used not only to spread fear and hate, but to destroy the lives of innocent people, and spill blood over Camelot’s name as a warning, so that people who are easy to rule see it safe, and those who have the power to stand in line with the people at the behest of my father’s tyranny see it unapproachable—unfathomable, even.”
Despite himself, Arthur feels anger burn like the fire at his feet, a deep, hot hatred for what fear and greed has done to his kingdom, his family, his life. He feels a bottomless empathy for all the people who’ve died because of a pointless lie. He feels for Merlin, whom he loves endlessly, and who has hidden him and his people away for years now to keep safe, to keep living. For Merlin who had to risk everything just to step into Arthur’s life and save it, and did it anyway.
Yet Arthur’s father would set his lover on fire if given the chance.
The knights are quiet, digesting. Arthur does not leave them in the quiet for long.
“The original prophecy is written in ancient druid tongue,” he goes on, “No living man can read it except one—my Merlin.”
He makes sure to say "my." He hopes the insinuation lands. He hopes they start to get it.
“Dragon prince, born of gold, will not but strength and valor hold, for soon the time will come to pass, is born a golden second half.”
The first part of a long prophecy—he should have warned them. And maybe he should talk slower, but it is so ingrained in him now, it just spills out, like a river.
“And should they meet, then it should come, a spanning legacy undone—for what should end if not to start, with dual thrones and tethered hearts?”
Despite his age, this does not fail to make Arthur blush. He had been ten when he first heard it, completely oblivious to all such matters, and now he was twenty, and things were much clearer, but it always struck him as a bit embarrassing to be fated into love. There are such fantasies as being someone’s “soulmate” or “destiny” or however you’d like to put it—it’s different when it’s real.
Different than you’d think.
“The kingdom too will cease it’s reign, embrace which what it might have slain, to quell the quest of spilling blood, to prosper with persisting love,” he breathes, and finishes the verse, “Magic takes an empty throne, and dragon takes a rightful one, and if the coronation serves, the kingdom reaps what it deserves.”
He swallows—a mouthful, but an important one. Important for understanding, for getting where they’re going, and for his knights to make their decision.
Stand with Arthur, or with his father.
“In short,” Arthur says, “I have known this other half since I was a child, and I have loved him as a piece of my soul from the first day I saw him, to the last time we spoke, to now, where I, and you, have been tasked with mercilessly slaughtering him. In my father’s eyes, this will save me. But it cannot be done.”
There is quiet. And then—
“Cannot or will not?” Elyan questions quietly. Arthur nods, having expected this.
“Both,” he answers, “Merlin, Emrys--the man we have been sent to kill--is magic-born.”
Someone’s breath hitches, but in the firelight, Arthur can not tell whose. This little detail had been promptly left out by his father—that Merlin was not practicing, but was of magic itself. These are two entirely different things, and these knights know it. Arthur prays this sews the seeds of doubt in their minds, that his father had sent them to their deaths without a second thought—his own son, too.
They swim in the quiet for a while. Arthur is content to lean back against his tree and take in the sounds of the forest—chirping, croaking, buzzing, all manner of life and creature. Merlin tells him that in the quiet, if he eases his mind enough, he can hear the thrum of magic in the air and the trees and the water, should there be water nearby.
Arthur has tried, but it is not meant for him.
“I will not ask you to commit treason,” Arthur says, eventually, “But know this… I cannot raise my blade to him. I cannot even raise my voice at him, unless he’s being particularly insufferable. I will not let any of you hurt him, and he will not let you hurt his people. This means that you must turn your swords on both future kings of Camelot tomorrow. I am… I am sorry it must be done this way.”
And with this, he stands.
“Please…” his voice breaks, as hard as he fights not to let it, “Think about what I’ve told you.”
And he makes for his tent, heart in his throat, hopeful to live until sunrise so he may see his lover before the fall.

any figure skating fics?
A Legend in the Making by TheCourtSorcerer (@thecourtsorcerer)
"I hate to admit it, but you are one of the best figure skaters I’ve met and coached.” He kept his gaze above neck level, voice stern as he tried to knock some sense into Merlin’s head. “So, you’ve fumbled the landing in…a few—”
“Every,” Merlin corrected him, voice strained.
“Okay, every practice,” Arthur continued through gritted teeth, “but you’re nearly there.”
Or
"Legend In The Making" Figure Skater Merlin is ready to make Olympic history...maybe. Luckily his coach, retired Olympic Skater, Arthur Pendragon, is ready to reassure him.
~~~
ugh this fic is so well written and brought back so many memories of keeping my fingers crossed for the recent olympics
2. Rockers and Counters by a_big_apple (@a-big-apple)
Arthur wants to win and kick Merlin’s skinny ass out there; he wants Merlin to skate his absolute best and show the world what he can do; he wants to bend Merlin backward over the boards and kiss the living daylights out of him on international television.
~~~
i screamed when i got to the end
3. More to Life Than Glory by Darkravenwrote
Merlin's dreamed about it his whole life. He didn't think about the stress of it all, though. Gwen's creepy stalker guy isn't helping matters either. for the Merlin_Olympics 2014 on LiveJournal.

A SERVANT'S FRIENDSHIP ━ arthur pendragon ♔
Prologue - Warning Bell “If that is all for the day.” Morgana piped up, gaining Lynette and Arthur’s attention. “I think I shall retire for my stitching lesson.” Lynette and Arthur stood to say goodbye to Morgana for the day. The lady left the room with their tutor in tow, not giving them much in the form of a farewell. The tutor looked reluctant to leave the two children on their own, but the guards outside assured him that they would watch for the prince. He left without another word, giving Lynette the freedom she had longed for. “Thank the Lord,” Arthur sighed as he shoved the massive book back onto its rightful shelf. “I thought the lesson would go on forever.” Lynette stuck her tongue out while waiting for him, “You missed half the lesson. I don’t think you have the right to complain.” “As prince-” “That is not a valid excuse.” Lynette cut him off. “Try again.” “You can’t cut me off, Nanet,” Arthur said with a firm pout. “I’m your prince.” “Exactly,” Lynette said. “You’re a prince, not a king. Therefore you’re not the boss of me quite yet.” Arthur said nothing, knowing better than to question Lynette’s reasoning, for she always seemed to outwit him. Instead, the prince held his hand out, and Lynette glanced down at it, unsure of what it meant. Part of her knew it meant trouble, especially given Arthur was due for another lesson down the hall, but she couldn’t help it. She needed a break, and it appeared he did as well.

🐉Name:Arthur O. Pendragon
🌳Age after time skip 21-22
Sorry I'm just going to be rambling here about the idea of what's going to be this au I've been thinking of for months and I just really want to act on it now since I'm not going to be as involved in doing stuff related to RWBY for some time
📜Set in Nanatsu no zaitai after season 1/ first arc after saving lions/ Leones (or however you say the kingdom's name)
The seven deadly sins are gone for several years and during that time Arthur Florence the knights of the round table and becomes very well known throughout the kingdom even more
And he all so meets a traveling knight blue lance (stand in for Lancelot from the story's)
💜
He and Arthur don't start off as friends but after several years of fighting together and then fighting with each other on and off they become good friends and one time after Arthur does manage to beat Lance he asked him to become his right hand Knight after he gets blinded
This is set after like the first season / first Big Arc is over after Leona's was saved I have it where the sins go on a mission for the King after saving the kingdom and they get trapped away in time and end up meeting the ten commandments and they end up trapped away in time for about 7 years you know matching the number of the seven deadly
sins and they come back to big changes throughout Britannia after the demons still do end up coming there and attacking everyone during this time skip Arthur still loses his arm to estarosa but during his fight when he loses his arm and his eyesight he uses Excalibur on him and that's how they find out that he's the Lost archangel I'm actually going to give him more to do in my Au
💖
I also have it where Arthur unlocked chaos and instead of him having all of it before Merlin disappear she locks half of it or more away
Because let's be real in the sequel series The only reason Arthur is evil is because Merlin literally gave him all the power of God and it's probably corrupted his mind she probably should have gave him like 20 or 30% of that power we've seen her divide people's Powers before she did it to meliodis I don't know why she couldn't do it to Arthur and have it where he only had like a small percentage or half his power so that's what I'm doing here
He can still change the environment around himself he didn't know how to heal himself till later so that's why he's blind and still missing my arm I won't be adding
Cath to this
🎂
Big things I'll be changing is this au Merlin is not really a kid in this version she's just the adult woman we see
Meliodas retires from fighting to give other nights the chance to shine and have a fight and since the ten commandments got fully sealed away or whatever and other stuff got fixed with the fairy Kings and Giants and whatever we won't be seeing a lot of that if I really do pull through with this au and make more of it
Elizabeth is 19 in this version as well when the series first starts cuz I do want to like add some stuff from the beginning Arc into this but I'm going to have it where she's 19
💛
I'm also going to introduce chaos earlier along with several other deities I'm just going to add in here I'm also going to have it where Merlin was a deity but she got killed and reincarnated into the little girl we all know she was in the story but then she grew up got her memories back of who she was and at some point doing the first holy war she sacrificed half of her magic so that way people could be born with magic throughout the land and be able to defend themselves
💚
I'm probably not going to introduce escanor till later on because I am not sure what to do with his character as of right now he plays such a big role in later arcs but since he wasn't in the first season really to this season maybe I'll just have it where he shows up at the end after everyone's saved and he just meets back up with everyone and that's how the sands get reformed and then they get sent on a mission they find out the ten commandments are about to come back and then they get trapped away and like some different portal thing that drops them away for 7 years
Sorry for yapping for so long

The Once and Future Contestant: Revival Round 1-B
Tumblr media
The top 2 characters will go to the next round!
Ky Kiske (Guilty Gear)
"Ruler of the British equivalent of his world.. His greatest goal in life is to destroy racism, he has fought at least two gods personally, and has a shitty little transformation."
Arthur Pendragon (Arthur King of Time and Space)
"When Arthur pulled the sword from the stone, time fractured, and now he is living multiple lives simultaneously. Whatever life he's leading, he's kind of a dork and Lancelot and Guinevere are his best friends."
Prince Marth of Altea
"In-universe, Marth is to his people what Arthur is to Britain: A semi-mythical Hero-King who United an empire, wielded a legendary sword, and whose spirit gets summoned to defend the kingdom centuries later. Gets “reborn” in the sense of these spirits and in the sense of a biological descendant (Lucina) taking on his identity and sword.
Firestar
"Firestar is a leader of a clan, he has quite a few older characters that could fill out the Merlin role, while he doesn't necessarily own a sword but the religion of the Clans granted him the ability to have access to multiple lives if he just so happened to die on accident!"
Martin the Warrior
"A wandering warrior who makes his fame conquering tyrannical despots with his iconic meteor-iron sword. His Guinevere didn’t cheat but she died and left him grief stricken. After he retires he founds a monastery which is the central location of the book series and his spirit haunts it/his sword for centuries, choosing heirs to defend it and drive out evil. Also, he is a mouse"
Arthur Liebowitz
"That one Arthur from the one episode of Fairly Odd Parents who needed glasses and then suddenly became buff as soon as he had them. "I can see! I CAN FIGHT!" guy."
Arthur (Shrek)
"Look at him.. I mean come on."
Rand Al'Thor
"He pulled the sword in the stone, signifying that he was the prophesied hero. The sword was a magical artifact that isn't actually supposed to be used as a sword, and the Stone was the name of the impenetrable fortress that it was kept in."
