Uh so something happened
Tumblr media
Like yadda yadda modern interpretations and stuff but like, the quote is
“I wish I were a fair maiden, then I would woo him [Lancelot]”
There is some context to this, and based on the context it can be debated whether or not Gawain was trans, but still. Oh but on that note.
Tumblr media
Gawain is absolutely bisexual. Regardless of the context, if you’re a man and unironically express a desire to sleep with what is clearly a man, then you are some flavour of gay. And Gawain, the ladies man of Arthurian myth, expressed a desire to sleep with the handsome knight. He is at the very least bisexual, probably poly or pan given how he’s slept with magical creatures and loved a wide range of women.
Just my two pence.

Kalor Session 9
The party fight the strange shadow creatures, finding that Lillian’s radiant power is the most effective against the monsters. Lydia tries to hold their own but when they try to use their magic it surges wildly, summoning a unicorn instead of the spell they wanted. Lydia rolls with it, trying to get the unicorn, who declares themselves as Gwain, to work with them to fight the creatures. It begrudgingly obliges, much to Lillian’s delight as the unicorn takes a shining to her. Lydia locates the source of the disturbance—a shadow stone in a well— and with the stone nullified the party is able to defeat the remaining shadows.
When the party compares the stone to the one Lumivarax found in the Sassaran ruins it’s remarkably similar— almost identical— and when Aknadin takes one to inspect it he surprises the party by turning its powers on them. He is surprised when the party is seemingly unaffected, until they all realize Buberry’s eyes are glowing a sickening purple as he turns his bow on them. Aknadin uses the distraction to escape, holding the stone and producing a strange dark portal that whisks him away. With Aknadin gone, Buberry returns to normal, with no memories of what happened.
The party, hoping to somehow pursue Aknadin, investigate the remaining stone. They are unable to discern its nature, determining it is neither arcane nor divine, but discover that channeling magic into it causes it to teleport the user an undetermined amount of space in any direction, as Lydia and Victor test it on land, and Vanth and Lillian test it in the sky. They learn that it seems to work through shadows as the further they teleport, the more they glimpse a strange darkness enveloping them.  The tests come to an end when Buberry and Lydia try to teleport thinking of home, the astral plane, instead winding up in a shadow dimension and catching sight of a strange creature they can’t identify.
They quickly teleport back and Victor wonders if this strange stone is related to rumors he heard of the Sessaran Empire and their ability to appear and disappear armies. He concludes it’s almost certainly the reason for the disturbances in Trost, with accounts describing the same shadows.
They are gearing up to leave as Robert returns, having been lost in the tunnels as they tried to escape the guards. He was able to smuggle their things out of the city, notably their cart, and is shocked to learn that Aknadin betrayed them and escaped. They gather up whatever animals and supplies they find in the abandoned village, leaving a warning of the shadow creatures for any travelers who happen upon the place.  Lillian finds a small altar of Sol and prays over the lost souls, while Victor sets up a headstone for the lives lost to the uncontained magic of the stone.
Disguising themselves as peasants to avoid attention the party takes to the road heading to Augustine, setting up camp off the path in the tree line as Lydia uses their magic on the earth to conceal them and their carts from passerby. As the rest of the party settles down, preparing their gear and hunting for food, Vanth quietly slips away, spotting her silver raven returning with a message from Corvus noting they will meet in person.
During the night, the party spots a caravan of knights and a carriage bearing the emblem of the royal house. Captain of the Guard, Vinick, is surprised when they approach, admitting the King has been searching for them. The King himself emerges from the carriage and inquires about Aknadin, expressing concern but not surprise at his betrayal.
Vanth, Lydia, Lumivarax, Victor, and Robert enter the King’s carriage to discuss what transpired in Dito as the rest of the party keep watch— wary of another betrayal. The party explains the situation, and the King explains the Lumber permits that caused him to be cursed by the fey were signed with Aknadin’s name.
The King mentions bringing this information to the Arbiter Council, but Victor refuses, telling the King he shouldn’t trust the guilds. He and the party explain their suspicions about Reynard, the warning from Jace, and the King reveals that it was Aknadin that pushed the idea to start excavating the Sessaran ruins in Trost. When the King brings up the long-ago death of the crown prince, drowned at the tender age of eight in one of the castle ponds, the party speculates that perhaps Aknadin has always been working against the crown. Victor wonders if Aknadin also had a hand in the death of Jace and the Istirian ambassador.
He asks the party what he can do to help them get to the bottom of this, and they express interest in records on the Filodaxi's history. Vanth gives the King her silver raven statue so he can send them what he finds. He also mentions an inert stone on Aknadin’s desk, dark and crystalline, and the party asks the King to look into it as well.
The king promises to give them what he can, and with that they exit the carriage and the King returns to Augustine with his retinue.
Back in Augustine, the city is on high alert, so the party uses forged documents to pass as merchants. Robert sets up his ship, and Lydia accompanies him while Buberry scouts the city. Meanwhile Victor visits the church to seek information about Filodaxi from a priest named Christopher.
With his mule safely aboard the ship Lydia leaves Robert to his work and tracks down Lillian and Vanth, while Buberry meets up with Lumivarax to find a seedier market to pawn off the remaining spoils from their mission in Trost.
Soup finds the magic shop with Lillian and Vanth as they try to re-up their supplies, but when he calls out to her the shopkeeper recognizes Lillian’s name and begins alerting the guards. In a panicked response, Lydia’s magic surges again, accidentally casting Magic Missile at 5th level, killing the shopkeeper and three others, and leaving one person grievously injured. Five guards immediately converge on them, and Lydia decides they might as well get the supplies they came for and begins looting the store as chaos ensues.

Bloodmarked Character Analysis and Opinions: William Sitterson
Spoilers ahead!!
1. William is the most emotionally intellegent person in the entire book. Argue with ya mama
2. William Sitterson is one of the best friends anyone on this planet could ask for (Alice Chen us the other). He is kind, protective, and isn't afraid to be commanding when need be. I loved every moment when he had to slip into a commanding or violent role. It shows that he is a multifaceted person and while he is normally mild tempered, he is that way bc he chooses to be. He is capable of being ruthless and stern but he doesn't want to be.
3. Healer William. William's disposition set him up perfectly to be a healer. In both Legendborn and Bloodmarked, any time something went wrong, his first thought was for anyone and everyone around him. His protective and almost defensive nature is so beautiful to watch and see how it challenges him when he must go against it and go on offense. When he had to help Sel interrogate Kizia we saw the extent of his physical strength but we also saw the extent of his mental strength. He hated doing it but he still crushed Kizia's hand bc he needed to.
4. William is selfless. He does what is required of him regardless of the personal consequences. He hides his pain about Whitty, he allows himself to be held hostage by the Regents, he hurts Kizia, he heals Bree while holding a fucking goruchel, he almost reveals himself bc of a pair of racists, he breaks up with his Bf. William will do anything for his friends bc who is he if he doesn't. When he says, "I am still a healer." He says it to remind himself who he is. He is annoyed when he has to admit that his magic won't help Selwyn. William knows his strengths and plays them well but having to hurt people when he is going to be a doctor and the number 1 rule is "first do no harm"? That is hard and I hope Bree honors her promise to make the Regents pay.
5. I hope he and Lark get to know each other more in Bree's absence
6. He's insanely smart. He nerded over the idea that Bree could be tapping into DNA memory. Also, I love that Deonn chose to allow him to be detailed about what injuries Bree sustained when she was cut open by the demons. I think it was a small tid bit that showed William knows what he's doing and is incredibly talented.
William my beloved. He deserves the world

Merlin somehow ending up back in Camelot straight from the 21st Century, like that scene in The Sword in the Stone.
He speaks weirdly (not language wise, though that we'll have to waive because Old English and Modern English are very, very different) as in using modern slang and references.
He also brought a lot of philosophies from the future, and as such he doesn't really buy into the Kings are incarnations of Divinity (not that he ever did, mind you), but believes in Democracy and the popular vote and free education and health care.
But most importantly: clothes. His sense of style improved and evolved in the thousand years of waiting for Arthur, and he likes to wear skinny jeans, tight shirts, fashionably cut coats and scarfs instead of neckerchief. A few tattoos here, some piercings there and a very modern hairstyle.
He sticks out like a sore thumb, but he's immortal and he knows it so he doesn't really care.

New nnt au I'm working on I'm wish to focus on
Tumblr media
🐉Name:Arthur O. Pendragon
🌳Age after time skip 21-22
Sorry I'm just going to be rambling here about the idea of what's going to be this au I've been thinking of for months and I just really want to act on it now since I'm not going to be as involved in doing stuff related to RWBY for some time
📜Set in Nanatsu no zaitai after season 1/ first arc after saving lions/ Leones (or however you say the kingdom's name)
The seven deadly sins are gone for several years and during that time Arthur Florence the knights of the round table and becomes very well known throughout the kingdom even more
And he all so meets a traveling knight blue lance (stand in for Lancelot from the story's)
💜
He and Arthur don't start off as friends but after several years of fighting together and then fighting with each other on and off they become good friends and one time after Arthur does manage to beat Lance he asked him to become his right hand Knight after he gets blinded
This is set after like the first season / first Big Arc is over after Leona's was saved I have it where the sins go on a mission for the King after saving the kingdom and they get trapped away in time and end up meeting the ten commandments and they end up trapped away in time for about 7 years you know matching the number of the seven deadly
sins and they come back to big changes throughout Britannia after the demons still do end up coming there and attacking everyone during this time skip Arthur still loses his arm to estarosa but during his fight when he loses his arm and his eyesight he uses Excalibur on him and that's how they find out that he's the Lost archangel I'm actually going to give him more to do in my Au
💖
I also have it where Arthur unlocked chaos and instead of him having all of it before Merlin disappear she locks half of it or more away
Because let's be real in the sequel series The only reason Arthur is evil is because Merlin literally gave him all the power of God and it's probably corrupted his mind she probably should have gave him like 20 or 30% of that power we've seen her divide people's Powers before she did it to meliodis I don't know why she couldn't do it to Arthur and have it where he only had like a small percentage or half his power so that's what I'm doing here
He can still change the environment around himself he didn't know how to heal himself till later so that's why he's blind and still missing my arm I won't be adding
Cath to this
🎂
Big things I'll be changing is this au Merlin is not really a kid in this version she's just the adult woman we see
Meliodas retires from fighting to give other nights the chance to shine and have a fight and since the ten commandments got fully sealed away or whatever and other stuff got fixed with the fairy Kings and Giants and whatever we won't be seeing a lot of that if I really do pull through with this au and make more of it
Elizabeth is 19 in this version as well when the series first starts cuz I do want to like add some stuff from the beginning Arc into this but I'm going to have it where she's 19
💛
I'm also going to introduce chaos earlier along with several other deities I'm just going to add in here I'm also going to have it where Merlin was a deity but she got killed and reincarnated into the little girl we all know she was in the story but then she grew up got her memories back of who she was and at some point doing the first holy war she sacrificed half of her magic so that way people could be born with magic throughout the land and be able to defend themselves
💚
I'm probably not going to introduce escanor till later on because I am not sure what to do with his character as of right now he plays such a big role in later arcs but since he wasn't in the first season really to this season maybe I'll just have it where he shows up at the end after everyone's saved and he just meets back up with everyone and that's how the sands get reformed and then they get sent on a mission they find out the ten commandments are about to come back and then they get trapped away and like some different portal thing that drops them away for 7 years
Sorry for yapping for so long

Arthur: I think Merlin’s mad at me.
Leon: What makes you say that?
Arthur: Watch.
Arthur: Hey, Merlin?
Merlin, formally: Yes, sire?
Gwaine, looking horrified: What in the five kingdoms did you do?!

I think it would be insanely funny if after Arthur’s death everyone returns back in time to the place they were the day Merlin arrived in Camelot. But like, everyone thinks they are the only ones who has returned. We see it all from Merlin’s pov, who’s traumatised and wondering why the fuck Arthur is so much sweeter to him this time around and keeps saying ‘thank you’. He wonders why Lancelot shows up earlier, why all of a sudden Gwaine is there three years too early, saying he got hurt in a tavern bawl and needs a physician. He wonders why Leon keeps pretending like he didn’t just accidentally see Merlin do magic. Why Gwen keeps giving him these knowing looks. And why Morgana doesn’t seem as afraid as she used to when she was figuring out that she had magic. Everyone is trying their best to change history for the better, thinking they are alone with this duty... and then one day when uther is dead and they are sitting around the round table, merlin steps forward and is like: ‘I need to confess that I have magic, but also that I have returned from the future.’ And everyone just whips around and is like ‘YOU TOO??!’ And then they realise that they’ve all returned and wasted their time thinking they were alone.

Merlin and the knights playing never have I ever
At first, it's innocent stuff and Gwaine complains that it's all dull trivia and they need to start getting into the more interesting questions. Leon looks him dead in the eyes and says "Fine. Never have I ever been arrested" Literally everyone but Leon drinks.
From that point it becomes a challenge to see who's done the most outrageously criminal shit "Never have I ever been in a bar fight" "Never have I ever committed identity fraud" "Never have I ever broken someone out of the dungeons" "Never have I ever stolen from the royal vaults" "Never have I ever committed treason with the King still in the room" And Merlin. Just. Keeps. Drinking. Now it's about trying to find something Merlin hasn't done but one of the others has. The answer turns out to be "Never have I ever been banished from a kingdom"
Merlin passes out before he runs out of criminal things he's done. Magic is the only reason he's still alive the next morning after how high his blood alcohol level was.
After Merlin passes out the knight just look at each other wondering how Merlin hasn't been executed yet with all the shit he's done. Gwaine chuckles and shakes his head "Perks of being the king's mistress"
