I think the thing I miss the most about earlier 2000s comedy shows is the grainy camera that they used. It's so small but It really made a big impact IMO. Always Sunny for example, uses a higher-quality camera in their later seasons and it just feels different yk? Along with the jokes themselves. Except in the rare cases where they make them work.

Shows need to know their sweet spot and cut it when the shows turn a little over-ripe and spoiled.
