early morning with soft!könig

it was still dark outside when you woke up, the sound of rain pattering against the window and the rustling of fabric as konig got dressed. you rolled over into the warm slightly sunken spot in the mattress where his huge frame lay just minutes earlier, trying to absorb the remnants of his body heat. you watched him pull his cargos up and tighten his belt around his slender waist.

you were perfectly happy watching him get ready, his quarter zip long-sleeve hugging his torso perfectly, showing off his broad shoulders and chest and his meaty arms. you watched the man before you mesmerised, drinking in the sight of him. his full, straight brows and his long, thick lashes framing his green eyes perfectly. with his chiseled jaw, the perfect amount of stubble having gone a couple days without shaving, and the way his nose led into his deep-set eyes- he looked more suited to a magazine cover than the military. and those full, rosy lips and his sharp, pearly white canines and oh my god, those dimples-

you were perfectly happy… till you were rudely snapped from your trance as he pulled his sniper hood over his head. that godforsaken mask. the bane of your existence. it should be criminal hiding something so perfect. your brows furrowed, upset by the interruption to your admiring. he noticed instantly, and he wasn’t going to take such a bitter expression from his pretty dove.

“oh what’s the matter, schatz? don’t give me that look”

“i don’t know why you insist on wearing it around base…”

“oh come on- i’m sure you won’t miss my face that much” he chuckled softly, the crinkle near his eyes giving away his smirk behind the hood. the smirk you’d give your left kidney to see again. you just sulked in response.

“now, schatz, don’t pout at me- come on, engel, just give me a smile”

you just looked at your hands in your lap without a word, your brows furrowing more at his attempts

“what if i give you something else to look at, hm?” he smirked, still trying to meet your gaze, his gravely voice low and soft.

you resisted the small smile creeping up your face as he toyed with the hem of his tight shirt before lifting it slightly, finally catching your gaze. he rises the shirt bit by bit revealing his toned abs, flexing as you looked over him.

“how about these, schatz? hm? you gonna show me those pretty teeth?” he cooed as he traced his fingertips down the centre of his chest down to his naval. you shook your head still sulking although truth be told, you’d forgotten what you were even pouting over by now-

he kept his sharp green eyes trained on yours as he brought his hand lower and lower brushing the trail of dark hair from his belly button down to the waistband of his trousers. you blushed. he had you. hook line and sinker. his happy trail might as well have been kryptonite to you.

“i know you’re fighting it, liebling”

“i’m not fighting anything-”

he stared you down with a predatory gaze as his finger followed the trail of hair agonisingly slowly as he coaxed you

“come on, baby, let me see~”

he purred softly, smirking under his mask as he finally won, seeng a small smile on your plushy lips

“there it is. atta girl~”
