green’s inner conflict and how it is manifested through greenscreen: an analysis
TLDR at end!
disclaimer: this is probably really ooc, and is mostly speculation by a mediocre at best student of literature ++ i’ve never been good at lit, so this analysis is likely not gonna be great :/ feel free to criticise/comment on this analysis! i’m open to feedback if there’s any :)
SPOILERS FOR INFLUENCER ARC EPS 1 AND 2 AHEAD!
we first see greenscreen when the cg abandons an overdone/overedited video of theirs - he is quite literally borne of neglect, and is thus a symbol of green’s negligence towards his friends and the inner turmoil he faces in trying to cater to all his viewers.
why does greenscreen appear as, well, green? green is basically fighting with himself, a form of inner conflict manifested through the CG’s fight with what is essentially green’s neglect and negative emotions.
this is also super interesting because inner conflict is usually internal and invisible: that’s what most of it is about. however, alan and the team present it here through actual physical conflict, which parallels green’s fight with himself - to make the content that he and his friends want to make, or to cater to the viewers and leave his friends behind, becoming increasingly self-centred?
in the first fight with greenscreen, the CG beat him as a group, and green even takes a photo of them together post-fight to upload to instagram. this symbolises green’s (temporary) triumph over his neglect for others, still caring for his friends.
however, over time, green starts to drift from his friends. he distances himself from them, isolating himself in a minecraft room by himself to make videos, neglecting friendships, genuine feelings and enjoyment in preference for catering to his viewers and all their preferences, taking each piece of criticism too seriously. therefore, as green’s neglect toward his friendships with the CG continues and increases, greenscreen grows in power as the negativity and abandonment become worse.
before we continue with that though, let’s talk about the recycle bin!
the recycle bin is a recurring figure across AvA - being used in both AvA and AvM to get rid of applications. that’s what a recycle bin is at its core - a receptacle for waste, left to be neglected, never truly emptied. both greenscreen and the deleted videos of the CG are thrown into the recycle bin, where they perhaps fester into who-knows-what in ep 3. you know who else was also unceremoniously thrown into a recycle bin/deleted? victim! after he escaped from the animator’s neglect towards his feelings and sentience, victim is out to get his revenge. the recycle bin takes it’s inhabitants’ negativity (in greenscreen’s case, neglect), and turns it stronger upon their escape. green’s dunking of greenscreen into the recycle bin in ep 1 is symbolic of him ignoring his tendency to ignore and leave his friends behind in the pursuit of content creation. he does not actively work on stopping such behaviour, instead leaving it in a metaphorical (and literal) recycle bin, letting his habit of neglecting others in the chase for something he desires to grow.
my theory is that greenscreen may come back in the last episode of the influencer arc, beating green at first, symbolising green’s negligence towards his friends’ feelings consuming him in his pursuit of content creation, but this is overcome as he realises the situation he is in - where he finally beats greenscreen and with him, his internal conflict, not by throwing him into the recycle bin where the neglect will be left to fester, but by coming to terms with his plight, communicating with his friends and agreeing to create the content that they want to create, putting an end to the negligence and laying greenscreen to rest.
(as of writing this, green’s newest video (reacting to my friends having fun without me) shows the rest of the CG being thrown around? it looks like they’re fighting something/someone, which is very likely whatever spawned from the recycle bin - i’m guessing this is greenscreen.)
TLDR: greenscreen is a physical manifestation of green’s neglect towards his friends AND his internal conflict, who will return in ep3 of the influencer arc, but will ultimately be beaten by green which symbolises him stepping back from content creation.
thanks for reading till the end! really appreciate it if you read the whole thing - once again this is purely my own speculation, opinions and theory!

I’ve been busy with grad school so I haven’t had much time to write.
However new idea/au came to me in the middle of class and I had to share it.
So I been seeing a lot of people discussing how green will likely go through the traditional YouTuber lifecycle (i.e. make content, get famous, get lost in the game, lose friends, burn out and crash/get canceled)
I also saw the recent uproar that people are having with how green is treating the gang, but especially yellow. There was even one person who suggested that yellow and the gang would make a rival account to challenge greens fame and expose how much he changed. One of their main points being how good Yellow is with technology meaning he would be better at filming and recording.
But I would propose a even more interesting idea (not that I think it will happen in series but I digress). That due to the loneliness that the gang experience after losing green to his fame and Yellows fury at his mistreatment in the videos, Yellow decides to put his technological prowess to a different use.
Yellow would rescue green screen (or glitch green) from the recycling bin and uses his tech abilities to create an artificial version of green. This could then go one of two ways, either green screen is set up to make up his own videos to steal green’s views that way, or the one that really got my gears turning. Green screen replaces green in the color gang friend group, and green is so caught up in his videos that he doesn’t notice that got replaced until long after it happens
This could lead to angst of green feeling hurt and betrayed for being replaced but the color gang points out that he has no one to blame but himself due to the fact that he pushed them away first. Then it will be a struggle for him to try to get back into the friend group while green screen does everything in his power to keep his own place in the friend group, more out of fear of being deleted if he no longer serves a purpose. Also he likes green’s life so he more than happy to keep living it, possibly to the point of where he tries to get rid of the real green for good.
Sorry for the ramble but once the idea struck me I had to share it

Download Link: Sim File Share | MTS Name: Pinecrest Acres Campsite Description: Nestled amidst the whispering pines and overlooking the serene lake, Pinecrest Acres Campsite welcomes nature enthusiasts and weary travelers alike. Established decades ago, this idyllic spot has evolved into a haven for campers seeking solace in the embrace of the great outdoors. Offering free limited tents for an authentic camping experience, a well-stocked lake for fishing enthusiasts, outdoor chess for strategic minds, a crackling fire pit to gather around during chilly evenings and a small kitchen area with grills for communal feasts, Pinecrest Acres Campsite invites you to unwind and connect with nature. Escape the hustle and bustle and discover the tranquility of this timeless retreat! Price: 33,493 Lot Size: 30x30 Version: 1.42 Store Content: None CC Used: 2 (Coffee Machine and the base needed for the Coffee Machine by ATS3) Packs Needed: The Sims 3, World Adventures File Type: Package
I created this campsite so my Sims can experience camping in their home world and catch a few fish/beetles/butterflies from the World Adventures expansion pack without the need to travel to vacation destinations. I have set this lot as a Small Park to avoid an influx of Sims visiting and placed only three Sim Scouts' Classic Camper tents ready to be used. The tents are spread out so that Sims can relax privately but I did place an outdoor fire pit as well as create a communal kitchen area for Sims to mingle with fellow campers.
This lot has been play-tested and I've used it in all my saved games. Let me know if you experience any problems on your end. Click on the link below for more information on this lot.
I made this exclusively for the World Adventures expansion pack and it is required for the tents to show up. Only 2 CCs were used on this lot, both of which are Donators’ gifts, exclusive downloads for ATS3 donors/Patreons. These are not included on the download but if you are interested, you can visit ATS3 site here.
You can set this lot as a Big Park if you'd like to populate it with Sims but the space is limited to 30x30 and there is only a limited number of tents so only a few sims can use it.
📣Please be aware that there are spawners used on this lot thus I would advise to not rotate the Small Park Lot to avoid duplicate spawners and remove spawners when the lot is deleted due to them remaining on the empty lot. To check and remove spawners, enable “testingcheatsenabled true” and “buydebug on” after.
Spawners:
Butterfly: China (Mix), Egypt (Mix), France (Glowy)
Beetle: Rainbow, Trilobite, Spotted, China (Assassin)
Seed: Rare 1 and 3
Fish: China Uncommon, Egypt River Common
Outside:
Community Picnic Table
Small Lake
3 Sim Scouts' Classic Camper tents
2 Outdoor Chess Table
Community Fire Pit
2 Public Sounds Stereo
Inside/In Roof area:
2 Public Bathrooms
2 Park 'n Grille
3 Hefty Recycle Me! Bins
Small kitchen area - Refrigerator and counters

Daddy threw me into the recycle bin for being an uppity program.
That's where you belong if you displease Eggman! The acceptable punishment for when he decides that even reprogramming won't cut it, he's at his limit and they just have to go!
Either way, it really shows how their artificial life is in his hands and he can alter and bend and fix it to his heart's content or delete it and remove it from the world just like he brought it into it. And that's why they should fear him and perform their best and behave for him. But sometimes even their best efforts won't be enough.

Rainbow
Rainbow loves the story she’s been placed in, she’s the main character, the one always doomed to win. She loves her role and wouldn’t trade it for the world, as she is the world.
The little stick loves how things progress, how they look and most of all, her friends, even if they’re flat as cardboard. She wouldn’t trade them for the world.
The creator looked at the little world they made and felt shame. After all, who would treat them seriously? They find a small folder of files and drawings about the little stick, and they want to burn it. To never be reminded of it again.
To start over.
Rainbow looked expectantly at her creator and wanted to know what they would make with them next. What more adventures would she go on? Would they get to see her friends once more? It’s been so long.
The cursor stayed deathly still.
The creator felt conflicted, but why? It’s just a stupid character they made when they were oh so young. All they’re doing is taking up space on the piece of junk called their computer, they need more space for more, better projects. They clicked the folder, all the files and before they could change their mind…
They put her into the recycle bin.
Rainbow was confused, what is the plan? The story? It’s so dark here. She couldn’t see anything, did they do something wrong? They stayed still, just like their creator expects.
She’s afraid.
The creator felt this wasn’t enough, they knew their old creations were still technically there. They needed to do the final step and move on.
They empty and delete the contents in the recycle bin.
All Rainbow could feel is pain. They can feel their whole being being pulled apart at the seems, what is going on? “Help! Please I’m sorry, I’ll be perfect! Just like always! What did I do wrong?!” Her tears felt fake and her yells fell on deaf ears. She couldn’t have her story end like this, she just couldn’t! She always won! She just needs to claw her way out, there’s always a way out. There’s always a way out.
The creator felt numb, but tried to put their old creation out of their mind. They got up and got something to eat.
Unaware of the fight for life going on right under their nose.
The darkness stretched on and on. She scratched the seams of it. Doing everything in her power to break down the thing confining her. After what felt like hours, a light bleed through everything. She felt like she was bleeding static and her left eye burned, but they did it.
They did the impossible, like always.

Deadline: April 1st, 2024 Payment: Royalties Theme: Monsters have feelings too, even if it’s used to rage against the machine. Genre: Speculative Fiction Theme: Monsters have feelings too, even if it’s used to rage against the machine. Concept: Sometimes we’re all misunderstood… and this is doubly true when you are a monster living in a human’s world. We want you to tell the story of one creature’s struggle to survive in an uncaring world. Word Count: 5,000 – 10,000 (standard word count) Opening by: TBD Edited by: JR Handley & Bayonet Books Anchor Author: TBD Due Date: April 1, 2024 Email Submissions to: [email protected] with “Beast Hunt” in the subject line Payment: Stories selected for publication in the upcoming Anthology(ies), will receive a percentage of sales divided equally between the contributing authors. We are looking for amazing stories from any genre that are fun to read and will take us on an adventure of epic proportions. Please download our standards template by clicking here ***NOTE*** We publish genre fiction with aspects of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror. If your work does not include one of these aspects, we are less likely to pick up the title unless it is of exceptional quality. What we are NOT currently accepting: Poetry Single-author collections of short stories. Hard and fast rules of what not to send: Fan-fiction: Just simply don’t. It will be immediately deleted or tossed into the recycle bin. Gratuitous Sexuality: (i.e. smut, softcore porn) (Please, we know that there is a market out there for stories in this genre, but it’s not for us. Contact our affiliate, Tanglewood press for submissions in this genre at tanglewoodromance (at) gmail.com Gratuitous Abuse/Violence: While we at Three Ravens Publishing understand that graphic situations can alter or otherwise move the plot forward in ways that the reader may not expect when properly used, these elements should not, however, be the primary focus of the story. (i.e. torture porn). Discrimination: Again, whether racial, religious, social, etc., when used properly as a plot device can become a powerful tool in the authors arsenal, but should in no way become the focus of the story unless you’re writing something along the lines of “Schindler’s List”, “To Kill a Mockingbird” or “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”. And we do understand that to be perfectly accurate, period pieces will contain such things because historically, that is what happened. It’s sad, but it’s the truth. Message Fiction: While we understand that everyone has their own stance on a myriad of subjects that can become very emotional and heated, we will not publish message fiction. Message fiction is defined as: Fiction that attempts to convey a sociopolitical message, as opposed to mere escapism. That being said, message fiction can crop up from many different topics. The cut and dry of it. If it doesn’t add to the story, don’t do it. If the story itself is a platform for you as the author to get up on your soapbox, then don’t bother submiting the piece, because we don’t want it. Special Note: RPG and game-based stories: We do accept these types of stories; however, your submission may not violate any game’s copy written, or trademarked, content. (refer back to the line above on fan fiction. We do not want it and will not accept it.). As an example, you might have a character running around in one of the popular online multiplayer games. You might want to write a story about your character’s adventures. That, in itself, is fine. Do not mention characters, creatures or the game world itself. Rename them to something of your own creation. We do understand that the muse may strike at any time and that ideas can come from anywhere. So please, before submitting, ensure that what you have submitted will not violate any copyright or trademark laws. Reprints/previously published: We accept previously published works as long as you have the rights and can provide proof (if necessary). Other than that, we really want to see what you have.
Payment rates: To be determined at the time of the contract and will be in the range of 50-70% of sales, and competitive with other publishing houses. The hard and fast rules of Submissions: If sending a Query letter, include a full synopsis of the story, the first three chapters as a writing sample and links to your social media pages. Response time may vary. Expect a reply within 9-18 months. We would prefer to see complete manuscripts that have already been somewhat edited by the author. Note: A contract offer will not be made based on a Query alone unless the work is of exceptional quality. Offers, in general, will only be made on completed works. Your submission must include your (Legal) name and your (Publication) name if using one, email address*, postal mailing address, and telephone number on both your cover letter and the first page of the manuscript. Include a plot outline if possible. *Also include links to all of your social media pages Spelling and grammar checkers are great, but they are not foolproof. Review your work for flow and content prior to submitting it. Minimal formatting, please! Indent paragraphs; single or double-spaced text is fine, though we prefer to use 1.15 spacing, with no extra lines between paragraphs; center chapter headers and scene break indicators (###, ***, etc.); use page breaks only at the end of chapters. For emphasis, choose either underline or italics and use it consistently throughout. Use straight quotes and apostrophes, … ., –, etc, no special characters, please! Times Roman 12pt is highly preferred. Make it readable, or we won’t read it. It’s that simple. If something specific requires special formatting then explain it in a cover letter. Please download our standards template by clicking here. Electronic Submissions: Neither disks or thumb drives will be reviewed, so do not send them unless requested. Our preferred method is by electronic submission, but we will accept a printed hardcopy. Attach the manuscript as a Rich Text Format (.rtf) file. Any other format will not be considered. Send the manuscript as a single file (do not break it into separate chapter files), so any synopsis and contact info needs to be in the file with your manuscript. NOTE: Any viruses attached to your submission will send your manuscript straight into file-13. (For non-military members, that means the trash can.) Hardcopy Submissions: (for those who cannot submit electronically) Standard manuscript format only: double-spaced, one side of the page only, 1/2″ (i.e., 0.5″) margins on all four sides of the page. We will consider photocopies if they are dark and clear. Title, author (last name only is okay), and page number at the top of each page are mandatory. Include your name, mailing address, and telephone number on the first page. Hardcopy manuscripts identified as “disposable” will be recycled. Disposable submissions should be accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped, letter-sized envelope for our reply (please ensure proper postage has been supplied!). Manuscripts intended to be returned should be accompanied by self-addressed packaging and sufficient postage. We will not be responsible for any manuscripts lost or damaged in the mail. Return packages will not be insured, tracked or otherwise paid for by Three Ravens Publishing. Via: Three Ravens Publishing.

AITA for getting revenge on an ex-friend because they tried to kill me?
So I (M?, no idea how old I am) used to inhabit a computer in a game studio. An employee of said studio who I’ll call K was working on a game when she discovered me. We chatted for a while and she told me about the outside world and stuff, so I thought we were friends. But then she decides to threaten to delete me?
For a bit of context, I was altering the game somewhat, but it wasn’t anything crazy! I was just updating the sprites/whatnot, but I did plan on adding some original content later when I get better at coding. Anyways, K goes off on me saying that she could get in trouble (I doubt that) and that I need to stop, or else she’d delete me. To drive her point home, she even moved my file to the recycling bin.
So now I’m understandably scared for my life, so I do the only logical thing there is: I cause the computer to drastically overheat and spontaneously combust while K was still in the building. I didn’t lock the doors or anything, so it’s on her that she couldn’t get out.
K forced me to do that. It was either me, or her. With all that said, AITA?

Hi!! Your tutorial blog is amazing, really did help me with lots of problems given this is a 14 y/o game!! I need some help on CCMagic, I accidently delete a few hundreds of the content/package items where I had 2000+ of them, now I really need find them back, otherwise I assumed those are going to lose forever if rebuild, is there a way to restore them from Cache/Sets?(cuz I know sets folder have cc in full amount) TT
Hi!
Not really as the cache is merged. You can open them in s3oc and try to clone each one out. Did you delete from your recycling bin too? Otherwise they should still be in there and you can restore them!

Laptop Running Slow? Top Tips to Boost Speed and Performance
A slow laptop can be frustrating, especially when you're trying to get work done or enjoy your favourite content without interruptions. Fortunately, there are several effective ways to speed up a lagging device. Here’s a complete guide to boosting your laptop’s performance, divided into actionable steps.
1. Check for Resource-Heavy Applications
Your laptop may be slow due to apps and processes consuming too many resources. To identify and close these:
For Windows: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager, and navigate to the Processes tab to view what’s using CPU, memory, and disk resources. Right-click on unnecessary processes and select End Task.
For macOS: Press Command + Space to open Spotlight, type Activity Monitor, and check the CPU and Memory tabs. Quit unnecessary apps to free up resources.
2. Uninstall Unnecessary Programs
Unused programs can take up valuable storage and background resources. Removing them can help improve performance:
For Windows: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features and click Uninstall on applications you no longer use.
For macOS: Open the Applications folder, drag unwanted apps to the Trash, then empty the Trash to free up space.
3. Disable Startup Programs
Programs that launch on startup can drastically slow down your laptop’s boot time and overall performance. Here’s how to manage these:
For Windows: Open the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and navigate to the Startup tab. Right-click on programs with high impact and select Disable.
For macOS: Go to System Preferences > Users & Groups, click Login Items, and uncheck items you don’t want to start automatically.
4. Clear Cache and Temporary Files
Temporary files and cache can accumulate over time, taking up space and slowing down performance. Regularly clearing them can help:
For Windows: Use Disk Cleanup by searching for it in the Start menu. Select the drive to clean (typically C:) and choose Temporary files and Recycle Bin for deletion.
For macOS: Go to Finder > Go > Go to Folder, type ~/Library/Caches, and delete contents in the cache folders to free up space.
5. Update Your Operating System and Drivers
Outdated software or drivers can cause performance issues, incompatibilities, and security vulnerabilities. Keeping everything updated ensures your laptop runs smoothly:
For Windows: Go to Settings > Update & Security and click Check for updates. Make sure all drivers are up-to-date by going to Device Manager and right-clicking devices to select Update driver.
For macOS: Go to System Preferences > Software Update and check for any available updates.
6. Increase RAM or Storage
If your laptop has limited memory (RAM) or an older hard drive, upgrading these components can make a noticeable difference in performance:
RAM: Adding more RAM can be a cost-effective way to improve multitasking and performance, especially for applications like photo or video editing. Consult your laptop’s manual or manufacturer for compatible RAM upgrades.
Storage: Switching from an HDD to an SSD can drastically improve boot times and loading speeds. SSDs are faster, more durable, and energy-efficient compared to traditional hard drives.
7. Run a Malware Scan
Malware or viruses can consume system resources, slowing down your laptop. Regular scans can detect and remove malicious software:
For Windows and macOS: Use trusted antivirus software or built-in tools like Windows Defender to perform a full scan. For macOS, consider third-party tools like Malwarebytes to supplement built-in security.
8. Defragment Your Hard Drive (HDD Only)
Over time, files on traditional hard drives (HDDs) can become fragmented, causing slowdowns. Defragmenting can help organize and speed up file access:
For Windows: Type Defragment and Optimize Drives in the Start menu, select your HDD, and click Optimize. SSDs do not require defragmentation as they handle data differently.
For macOS: macOS automatically manages drive fragmentation, so manual defragmentation is unnecessary.
9. Use Lightweight Software Alternatives
Heavy software can slow down your laptop, especially if it’s an older model. Opt for lightweight alternatives:
Web Browsers: Use browsers like Microsoft Edge or Safari, which are optimized for their operating systems, rather than resource-heavy ones.
Productivity Tools: For document editing, try Google Docs instead of a full Office suite or LibreOffice for a lighter offline solution.
10. Adjust Power Settings
On Windows laptops, the power settings affect performance and battery life. Adjusting them can balance your laptop’s power usage:
For Windows: Go to Control Panel > Power Options and select High Performance for better performance. Note that this might reduce battery life.
For macOS: Go to System Preferences > Energy Saver and adjust settings based on performance needs versus energy conservation.
11. Reinstall the Operating System
If you’ve tried everything else and your laptop is still slow, reinstalling the OS can remove clutter and reset settings to default. Be sure to back up your data first!
For Windows: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery and select Reset this PC. Choose either to keep your files or to do a clean reinstall.
For macOS: Restart in Recovery Mode by holding Command + R during startup. Select Reinstall macOS from the menu to start fresh.
12. Manage Visual Effects and Animations
Turning off unnecessary visual effects and animations can make your laptop feel faster:
For Windows: Right-click This PC > Properties > Advanced system settings. Under Performance, select Adjust for best performance or manually deselect specific effects.
For macOS: Go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Display and check Reduce motion and Reduce transparency to limit visual effects.
13. Regularly Restart Your Laptop
Sometimes, all your laptop needs is a fresh start. Restarting clears memory and temporary processes, improving performance. Set a habit of shutting down your laptop regularly rather than keeping it on sleep mode for days at a time.
Final Thoughts
A slow laptop can be annoying, but with a few adjustments, you can bring it back up to speed. Regular maintenance, like removing unnecessary files, disabling startup programs, and updating software, can make a world of difference. Try out these tips, and you’ll likely notice an improvement in performance, no matter how old your laptop may be! someone brought up the idea of mains and exclusives and I'm not personally comfortable with them because of a few reasons: I've had some bad experiences with having to exclusively rp with a certain person's muse and getting yelled at because I dared to rp with an indie muse (my first tumblr rp experience was a group one and it didn't go well). Secondly, I've rped on tumblr so long and seen so many people come and go that having a main suddenly disappear and having to retcon and change things is something I don't like doing. Or getting soft blocked by them.
I also just don't like the idea of being like "sorry, you're not as important" because we're not mains. I love rping with you all and I don't need unnecessary drama from that. It's not fun when I just want to rp with many people and experience how they interpret certain muses and the AU's and such that they bring along. That to me is what makes rping fun, not creating small groups. I will prioritize some people who I feel closer to, but that's about it.
also it was just a pain in the ass back in my Twilight Sparkle days to keep up a relationship chart of who my "main" mane 6 was...I don't want to do that with the PT's.
So yeah...not a fan of mains/exclusives.

INTJ: Sensory Overload
The INTJ stereotype of "enjoys classical music" is annoying; mainly because I actually enjoy 'classical' music. I've found out about classical music during my first few years of playing the piano. The utility of it is it promotes focus when silence is not a viable option. I prefer complete and utter silence but when rain and overwhelming sensory chaos surrounds me.
INTJ is the finisher type in tasks or project and I am certainly under such category. However, finishing a task demands focus and my focus is only gained in stable sensory realms. If I am in an environment where it is usually silent with jumpscares of noises; if I am in a room with a variety of smells; if I am in a closed area where lights are loud; if I am even in an area where someone's unpredictable breathing pattern irks me; I fail to focus. My senses, be it because I have bottom Se, is stupidly intense. It makes me jumpy and or reactive.
One time, someone I was not close to was about to touch my hair and I almost twisted their wrist in reflex when their hand grazed my hair. I suppose it's the leo in me, I find my hair to be very important and only few can touch it without getting hurt.
I digress. Any sensory disturbance to me is sensory overload. If it is constantly loud and overstimulating, though it is a special type of hell, since I expect it and it is not a disturbance then I could focus in it. This is why I cannot play video games that have jump scares, it physically hurts.
Now I had mentioned classical music. First, I have no idea whether Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky made classical music since he was in the Romantic era, but I love three of his compositions. Namely: Swan Lake (my villain entrance song), The Nutcracker: Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (first one I learned how to play from Tchaikovsky), and 1812 Overture (the one I keep forgetting the title of). These three are enough for me to get into focus and drill on in a task. It tethers my Se into a disciplined 'finish the task' way. However, if silence is available, then I might opt for that instead. In silence, I become the most tranquil and untethered to the sensory reality. I'd rather have it than people playing and swiping through countless videos that they will then show to me only to get nothing for a reaction. With this focus, I am just as intense and have been told to be really efficient and fast.
I am an enjoyer of silence, so much so I could be a stereotypical librarian that wants people to shut the fuck up and maintain my inner intuition and outer senses at peace. When someone is coming over, the mere idea that they exist within my vicinity is enough disturbance to my tranquil state that I get nothing done, I sit there fuming and waiting for that torturous small talk, and hear a dissonance of what could possibly be a rapid fire of needless information that makes no room for scrutiny, reflection, and critical thinking.
I am appalled at the amount of people Ni or Ne users alike, that could consume content continuously. I am not like the INFJ that I know that could finish two books in a week and a half. I am not like the INTP I know that could watch so much videos with seemingly no fatigue. I am definitely unlike my ESFJ brother that will watch and comment and share all of the things he'd watch that somehow "relate" to me. If I were to follow their steps, I certainly will be in a mentally lethargic state, a brain fog if you will.
I can not, for the life of me, consume information or data without playing with it. I need to do something with it or else it adds to my pile of "backburner file for emotional and mental tangles" which is already enough of a problem. In the contemporary digital expressions, it's that 7 GB folder in my recycling bin that I can't quite delete yet for some emotionally inexplicable reason that my brain won't tell me.
Sensory overload really sends me into a meltdown. The last time I had a meltdown and let my Se take the lead, I just found myself 100 dollars poorer with two books, leftovers, and two button pins that says, "it's too people-y outside" and "blackpink." I don't even listen to blackpink nor do I like button pins. Also I don't know where both of them went. The only worthwhile purchase in that fever dream of Se-spending were the books, except I gave one of them away. So really, I'd like my sensory realm to stay manageable.

Deadline: February 1st, 2024 Payment: Royalties Theme: Space soldiers during an assault Genre: Military Science Fiction Theme: Assault on the beachhead or LZ (landing zone) Concept: We’re looking for the vibe of the ODST from HALO or the men and women from Starship Troopers. These are the soldiers who’re riding flying coffins to the ground so they can make a beachhead for the main assault. Word Count: 5,000 – 10,000 (standard word count) Opening Essay by: TBD Edited by: JR Handley & Bayonet Books Anchor Author: TBD Due Date: February 1, 2024 Email Submissions to: [email protected] with “Contested Landing” in the subject line Payment: Stories selected for publication in the upcoming Anthology(ies), will receive a percentage of sales divided equally between the contributing authors.
