He had been a teen given practically a blank check from Shido... there had been a few impulsive purchases.

It was quite incredible for her to be getting a personal message like this. She was just an average person. Well, average was an understatement with her genius level computer skills and her whole phantom thief thing. She was technically nationally known and infamous because of her past stuff. Like hacking into the airwaves to display the Phantom Thieves calling card to Shido.

So it was probably a hell of a stretch to say that she was just an average citizen, but the fact that she was getting a personal message from a voice actor like this was just incredible. Genshin impact was a game that she liked a lot. She loved the character collecting aspect, and whilst she made sure not to spend too much money, it was quite addicting to say the least.

She didn't know what quite to what to say at this message. Now she was going to have to make sure she didn't screw up things with this, that was for sure, since she was going to have someone personally wanting to see her here. "Y-You have quite the connections, huh?" She knew that he was famous and all that but getting all these pulls like this was quite the feat.

Now that they were close to the convention area she could see how busy it was, with local people, cosplayers and tourists who were also cosplaying. She took a few deep breaths. Okay, this was going to be fine, it was going to be fine. Just make sure to not get overwhelmed. Remember what Minato said, that there was some places that they could go if she found herself overwhelmed.

"Either way, I just want to thank you for this again. This is soooooo coooooool."

[{ 🦋 }] - "Oh yeah, that reminds me, your meet and greet with the voice cast is at two pm, two hours before the first VA panel, the Genshin Impact one, it's only eleven thirty, so we'll have plenty of time to look around before it. I don't know about you, but I have a pretty decent Honkai Star Rail figure collection, and I need a female trailblazer to complete my first set." He says, eyes focused on the road as he drove.

Minato collected a lot of things, his most prized collection was his set of haunted and cursed artifacts, which were on display at his very own haunted items museum that he had opened a couple of years ago. While his museum did charge for tickets, they weren't expensive. The profits from all the tickets went towards the museum's bills as well as paying the staff that worked hard in running the museum for him, and Minato did like to pay everyone fairly and properly for everything they did.

Minato also collected a few particularly cursed objects and kept those in a private collection, deeming them too dangerous for public display. Aside from creepy, allegedly haunted objects, Minato still was a gamer and anime fan at heart, and collected video games, consoles, and anime figures from video games, mang,a and anime he enjoyed, the Honkai Star Rail one being a more recent collection since it was still a relatively new game.

When she mentions not wanting to become too socially exhausted, he thinks for a moment, recalling when he read the entire Convention events page online before picking her up, he remembered that there were a few rooms in the con that had some anime and anime movies playing, each room had a different airing schedule, that seemed like a good place, he knew this was her very first time at an anime convention, these events were fun, but could sometimes be a bit too much for those who weren't quite used to being in a large area crammed in with people, it could be rather anxiety inducing. Minato slows the car to a stop as a traffic light turns red, he turns to face Futaba,

[{ 🦋 }] - "Don't you worry about that, Futaba-Chan, When we're inside the con if at any time at all you start to feel a bit socially overwhelmed, you just tell me, and we'll go find one of those anime watching rooms and sit for a bit, just you and me, no one hardly ever uses those showing rooms at convention."

It never took much for someone to feel a bit overcome with anxiety, his first convention experience, while fun, did become a bit tricky sometimes, one could only stand being in a room with tons of people for so long before things can start to feel a bit claustrophobic, so he wanted to make sure he had a plan for if such a thing were to happen, and he did.

The light turns green, and Minato refocused his attention back to the road as he switched the car back into drive and off they went again down the road, just over twenty minutes away from the convention now.

[{ 🦋 }] - "We're almost there, but while we have time, pick up my portable mini-tablet from the middle compartment, the password to unlock it is 6166, there's a video paused, go ahead and play it once it's unlocked."

Once she does that, and the video begins, it is revealed to be a personal message to Futaba from Yuuki Aoi, expressing how excited she is to meet her, and that Minato said she was a big fan of Genshin Impact, she also mentioned how they have something special for her that she's looking forward to giving to her after the meet and greet was finished -- Minato knew exactly what that surprise was, and he knew Futaba would love it. The video ends just as they come up to their final red light.

Cognitive Psience. The study of the subconcious but more of a supernatural aspect to it. It was such a familiar thing and yet she couldn't fully remember why it was so familiar to her. She was repressing it because it had to do with her mother and she had been doing everything to repress memories of her mom.

After all, she was guilty of killing her, or at least driving her to suicide, right?

Despite everything that she tried to find otherwise well, she couldn't find anything, and her despair over it grew. Did she even deserve to live because of that? Who knew. But she would just go from day to day, sitting in a room that grew increasingly full of trash and such. She had enough energy to at least make sure they were all in bags.

Mostly anyways.

"I should go to the bathroom...ugh, I don't have any energy. This hair is so tangled..." The only thing that caused her to go down to the bathroom was her having to go pee, which forced her to drag herself out and down the steps. Whilst she was down there she at least tried to clean herself up a little bit.

Why did it matter anyways? She was going to die here.

Making her way back up to her room, she locked the door behind her and laid down on the bed, still thinking about cognitive Psience. God it was going to bug her. Okay, distraction time. She grabbed her vita and started to play a game. That's what kept her mind from going down even more dark paths.

Hopefully things would change. One day.
