#Really need to find a name for this au

I wanted to talk more about my epic x dsmp AU but I don't really have a precise line of thoughts so I will just dump infos/ideas here.

Designing the gods is one of the most difficult part because they have at least 2 designs: A)chill/more humanish looking apparence and B)godly which I make more complex and full of details and inner references because it's like their "formal" appearance, the one they wear during important events and when appearing to mortals (except the ones they're close with) so it need to be very spectacular and include things reminding their power domains and sometimes the other gods they're closely associated with. I'm overthinking every tiny bit of their fits.

For example of different reasons to have someone's symbol in your godly appearance: Badboyhalo and Skeppy have hints to each other in their godly appearance because they are married ; Philza wears things that reminded him of Technoblade and Wilbur in his godly appearance because he's close to them and want people to know they're in his circle ; Quackity uses some Schlatt's domains symbols in his godly appearance because he implicitly tries to steal them from him.

Technoblade's mask goes through 4 phases during the story: A) intact full face mask before the story B) slightly cracked from a training fight with Dream a long time ago, showing how despite denying it he's growing attached to the human C) only top half with Tubbo because the kid just befriended him to that point and finally D) no mask anymore fuck it he fighted half of Olympus for this green bitch anyway.

Kristin, HD, Sarah and XD where the first gods ever born, before them were titans and they are themselves the kids of the former titans' king Prime which they overthrew.

Everyone of them inherited their domains from their parents or the titans they defeated during the Titanomachy except Kristin who fucking invented the concept of Death just to kill Prime because she's that badass (most of the gods are terrified of her because of that, especially XD).

XD and HD are toxic yaoi coded they're madly in love and very weird about it. When they have something going on no one want to be between them.

Sam Nook identifies himself as Sam and HD's son which none of them agree with but that makes XD very mad.

Centuries before the war and Dream's adventures, HD, Sam, Philza, Wilbur and Technoblade tried to overthrow XD. It failed and all of them were caught except Technoblade. It the reason why Wilbur was been exiled on his magic island.

I'm still not sure of which characters to use for the suitors, I'm open to suggestions guys.

I'm currently rereading some Odyssey's books to diverge from Epic the musical's path and add the Phaeacians (I already said I love the Phaeacians) and Eret will be here ! Phaeacian's royalty 'cause they deserve it.

I'm really thinking about making Purpled a literal alien baby boy just for the joke. Like himself doesn't know it 'cause he was so young when he arrived on Earth and in this world you have fucking gods, titans, monsters, nymphs, etc... So no one question it like "You're just a kind of creature we don't know 🤷‍♀️, maybe you just spawn from Chaos it happens sometimes 🙂"

(Sorry I took so long to answer this I wanted to finish a lil comic I’ve been working on that basically contains what would have been the first meeting of madara and gai in the fic but that is going to take a fair bit longer so I hope you don’t mind me just answering with some doodles)

first up the dynamic between the founders, gai and kakashi is as follows:

The black haired guy at the top middle is kakashi he actually is in disguise most of the story because he’s trying to be really careful and not alter the timeline too much.

This causes its own set of problems when gai after being told by kakashi to stay put and not interact with anyone (gai was not meant to join kakashi in the past and they weren’t meant to go back so far so kakashi is a bit disoriented) mistakes madara for his eternal rival and interferes with an ambush to help him escape unscathed. Madara witnesses here the 6th gate for the first time and decides to kidnap gai and keep him as a prisoner until he’s figured out what the heck gai did to spontaneously get stronger.

Gai tries to figure out the lest future changey way of escaping and finding the real kakashi while madara tries to figure out gais deal generally. Eventually gai agrees to spar with madara on the condition that madara sends people to search for his rival.

Their sparing matches are actually really interesting! Gai is exceptional at countering the sharingan but madara is a far more experienced fighter both of them are a fan of a good fight so they actually end up growing closer through these fights (this relationship development would actually have been a large part of the story)it doesn’t help that they both remind each other of their respective rivals, so they sort of fall into a closer relationship than they would naturally because they both miss them so much.

Their would likely be dashes of madagai in this story but ultimately they’re not each other’s endgame so it would only really manifest in like madaras musings about what a world where they got together might look like. As well as the occasional crisis of faith from gai where he weirdly feels like he’s cheating on kakashi despite them not actually being together till the end of the story.

So yeah hopefully that illuminates the dynamic a bit more :]

didn’t give much context before but we’re going with that the egg was abandoned in winter horns and recovered by a group of waddle explorers

there wasn’t a lot of (known) writing on dedede’s species so figuring out what to do from there was kinda hard and they didn’t really know anything for certain, but between a little research, a gut feeling, and dedede and mk already used to Parenting, they passed the egg onto them to look after and well. yeah

it was definitely a rollercoaster for dedede, to be given hope that there were others like him after all - so it was only natural he’d take it very seriously. he spends a lot of time with them and they’re very clingy because of it. he says they’re like a duckling

being so big also comes with problems because as clingy as they are, they outgrew being able to be held by other people pretty fast lol

The Raven.

Jonathan sims in this Au has big kaiju monster form. Do I have a genuinely good excuse for it? No. Will I blame it on dream logic and them being in an au? Yes. Will I also give Martin and maybe Annabelle one? Most-likely. This is his monster form at its biggest but it can change size. He also has some moderate shapeshifting abilities with it beyond the size changing. His mouth also opens up kinda like a demegorgon .

I’ll probably add to his design later but I can’t quite figure out a way to add moth wings without ruining the silhouette. His government assigned animal is a raven because I mean think about it, it fits. And I gave him moth antenna for purely self indulgent reasons.

Reincarnation AU where the boys of Easy Company coincidentally all attend the same university, probably somewhere on the east coast where most are local to. And they start to reunite and such, as you do in a reincarnation fic.

And Gene could be a transfer student from a different university looking for a fresh start, perhaps even switching majors. But maybe Gene has some lingering ptsd from his past life once he got his memories back, so he’s got a service dog—a black Labrador Retriever with fur that couldn’t be more opposite from the snow of Bastogne.

Things were going pretty alright until suddenly his service dog is trying to help someone Gene’s never met before through a panic attack that had been triggered by the mere sight of Gene. And this could be any of the men of Easy Company, either someone who survived or someone who didn’t because you know for a fact that Doc Roe was the last thing some of those men saw before they passed.

Of course that’d probably be the cue for the reunions that form the literal backbone of reincarnation AUs.

THANK YOU FOR EXPANDING ON SONS OF MEGATRON AU (I don't know if its got an actual name, but until it is I'm just gonna call it that if its okay) could I maybe ask how the lambros feel about being related to Megatron? especially Sunny since he's apparently the most like him. Like, since Sunstreaker doesn't exactly get along with every autobot, (assuming they don't know) do you think he gets worried that they would kick him out if they ever found out who his sire was? because he already "acts" like megatron, its "just a matter of time before he turns into him" or some other bs someone would think? (sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm so tired rn)

Before the war, the twins actually felt really prideful about the fact that the Gladiator Megatronus was their sire. When the war really started to get going, alongside the twins being autobots, they no longer felt that pride. It wasn't shame, as they weren't close to Megatron anyway, but it was a sensitive topic.

In truth, they didn't mean for it be kept a secret for so long. If anyone had asked, they would've answered. But seeing as how long the war's been going on for, it feels awkward.

Sunstreaker doesn't feel worried about being kicked out. Sideswipe does though. Sideswipe cares a lot about their safety. Neither of them really know they're like Megatron. I think only a few bots would see the similarities, such as Optimus. But Optimus just chalks it up to the two being from the pits.

Like, it's known knowledge that the twins were raised by Breakdown and Knockout. But it isn't really something that affects them that often, more than Cliffjumper making fun of them for it. But when it's found out, via Jazz and First Aid, that they're actually Megatron's, it's gets very messy very quickly. The two basically are outcasted by a few of the autobots. More than they're used to.

Any moment of aggression from either of them, that's everyone is familiar with, gets parred up with 'they are megatron's so-' and it's really hurtful. They barely even knew the mech, even before he went crazy.

So- as much as I adore the idea of him being originally human and slowly losing himself to the tortures of hell (an Idea I might explore later?? because I didn't even consider that??)- he is originally a demon from the layer of lust.

Now, hear me out. I'm still trying to wrap my head around The Sandman's version of hell, but from what I understand a big part of what can send someone to hell is believing they belong there. Throughout history, being queer has been regarded as a sin- a particularly lustful one! So, in hell, there's a specific area of lust dedicated to queer people from the past- this is where he gets his concept of fashion, speech patterns, knowledge of the world and thus also his internalised homophobia.
