I still don’t have a solid design of Henry Jekyll. This man is deeply intangible to me, which is funny because the man who is supposed to be intangible (Edward Hyde) I have a fairly solid design for.

Also I hope Bruce looks as himbo as a himbo can be here. My man has perfected the art of himboing about social interactions for the sake being a menace and I wish to do that justice. The GoodTimedWithScar of DC I’d say.

Yes! Ok so I find it really interesting actually despite not really being into dc at all, because well, they both have a shocking amount of parallels. They are both: rich aristocracy to some degree, socially considered in good regards, they both are intensely emotionally repressed, and they both have alter egos.

But there’s conflict too! They both have alter egos yes but those alter egos fulfil very different purposes. Hyde exists as a way to engage with vice, unburdened by much of the consequences. A force of evil. Batman exists as a way to stop evil in its tracks. A force of good.

So it’s sort of villain x hero while having them both be mirrors of eachother and it is delicious let me tell you that. Both can look at eachother and see what they could have wound up being under different circumstances. Even in a non romantic light they are intensely interesting as a pair.
