So for a while now I've actually been reading this book series, called Ragnarok. It's a Norwegian published book!! And of course our favorite trickster is there~✨

And out of boredom I made another Sigyn, no problem! 😌
Without spoiling too much of the lore within this book, Loki is a Raven and has been on the run for quite sometime.
My take if Sigyn was ever going to show up (not sure if she will so..) Is that she's at home and taking care of her remaining family and is very confused about the situation Loki is in and why he is just gone?! She tries her best to find out what he is hiding and where he is. Because our gal SEEKS answers! 😠
Personally I am torn on her design, it's a little too silly but still so pretty in a way!!

English translations:
1. Why didn't you say Anything loki..?
You've been gone for a long time my love, Me and Hel are starting to miss you.
2. Well, have you found him yet? *referring to Loki*

Other authors: *spends their hour writing scenes where the manipulative character uses intriguing and clever forms to deceit others in a way that makes the readers' skin crawl*
Leigh Bardugo: "the darkling is manipulative because I say so"
Readers: "proof?"

So it occurred me that since Rio is literally DEATH and Hela is the Goddess of DEATH, and it was established in the first Thor movie that ancient humans knew about the existence of Asgardians........Do you think they dated???? Or like whatever????

After the many flowers he gifted to her, he decided to learn their meanings. And in turn, found one that was special.

right so u know that bit in thor: ragnarok when thor tells us about when him and his wee bro were the exact same age and his tiny brother turned into a snake and then stabbed him, having brutally exploited tiny thor's love of snakes?
and u know how in the wider thorverse context this story doesn't really make sense (how were they both eight. go back to that thor. explain it to us.) but the story being told is funny to me so i don't really care?
that is my attitude to the whole film really. and indeed to the rest of the thor films. they often make no fukcing sense. but i laughed so it's fine. (was i supposed to laugh? well that's a different question and one we can discuss at a later date when i can make myself care enough.)

Funny tidbit: I don't know how my people managed to make a slang term out of Loki's name (or at least it sounds like it!) but it happened!
Over here, Loki is known as Loke (pronounced loo-keh). My friends and I, along with the youths in our community, speak a sociolect together. We use the word "loke" when we want to describe someone who is loafing around, like just idly going places or hanging out/dawdling, lol. "Å loke rundt" means "to loaf around". Don't know the full story behind how the word came to be in modern times but I caught myself thinking about this a lot lol. Imagine telling people "Bro, stop loki-ing around!"
I could see angrboda saying this as a cute little pun and he’d just laugh at it 😭😭

This is so cute!! Wanda's a car girl! And Quicksilver likes racing against her cars!
But if he's running at the same speed of the car, he's probably going a lot slower than half speed. He wants to spend time with his sister, but doesn't want her to feel bad about losing an unfair race.

You know, I feel like Kratos forgetting Calliope’s song was a wee bit harsh on the part of the writers.
I think his explanation of how he would’ve given up everything for a few moments more with his daughter, but when he met Faye, found the world worth living in again, would’ve been enough. Imo that illustrates his journey well in of itself.
To add onto that that when he found his new family, he could no longer recall Calliope’s song (played on the flute he made for her)…I dunno, it doesn’t make me think, ‘oh look at Kratos’s growth and development’ as I’m sure the writers intended. I understand the symbolism they were aiming for, but honestly it just made me sad
It’d be different if he was struggling to remember just due to the passing of time, but the fact he says he forgets it specifically after meeting Faye changes the meaning imo.
Kratos could remember his daughter’s song - presumably her favourite, that she played often, if it stuck in his memory - just because he loves her. To remember doesn’t intrinsically mean he’s haunted by it. memories of, and a love for, his Grecian family isn’t inherently negative, or something that has to be ‘let go of’ for him to progress as a character.
