Op vrijdagnacht las hij van elf tot twaalf op zwoele toon gedichten voor op de zoete klanken van Mantovani’s Greensleeves. Het programma werd steevast geopend door Can I get there by candlelight van David McWilliams, waarvan ik soms dacht dat hij zong Can I get her by candlelight… Als er nu geen zacht belletje…

Sort of eye rolling radio promotions. The fact that this one is a "K" for the Western half of the United States is interesting -- usually a familiarity bias leaves them on "W". A quick search on "KLUK" has me able to account for the station call letters as a radio station out of Needles CA from 2000 on, and I can account for it as a radio station from Evanston WY from 1953 to 1963, but otherwise I do not know -- I know there is a website full of call letter history but I do not see it.
