Sort of eye rolling radio promotions. The fact that this one is a "K" for the Western half of the United States is interesting -- usually a familiarity bias leaves them on "W". A quick search on "KLUK" has me able to account for the station call letters as a radio station out of Needles CA from 2000 on, and I can account for it as a radio station from Evanston WY from 1953 to 1963, but otherwise I do not know -- I know there is a website full of call letter history but I do not see it.

Hey! Bruce Springsteen again. Or, Bruce Springsong. I hope there is no confusion on what the generic concert replacement is, as it would be embarrassing if whoever Archie is taking thought they were going to the Pearl Jelly concert and it turned out to be... Hm... (Who was big in the reprint period of 1991?) Jon Bonton?

Messaging around the sprinsteen movie is that it's very much not a biopic, but instead a small amount of time in his life, dealing with depression and the creation of Nebraska. (Surprise Jeremy is in a sad movie) Apparently Bruce is saving a fuller biopic to be made when he's older so? Excited to see it and whatever is next.

I’m low key thankful it’s not a full biopic because I find it very hard for a movie to do that well like. Ever. Oppenheimer is the one example I can think of when it comes to an excellent biopic that doesn’t feel rushed or missing key details, but even then it was mostly just about the Manhattan project!

yeah i’ve rly only listened to thunder in the east n not rly all that deeply. i should def check that out further. im kind of in a rut rn w country music (loooooong story) but i’ll listen to it when my brain gives me the green flag. they do look cute tho. what other sorta more obscure glam bands do u like?
