THIS HURTS MY BRAIN CAUSE LIKE FOR EXAMPLE THE GUY WHO PLAYS URYU?? IN THE LIVE ACTION BLEACH IS IN TOKYO REVENGERS, one of them, and like Yuki and Shuntaro Yanagi are both in Tokyo Revengers as well as High & Low. Um..like Elly is in Crows Explode but also the High & Low series like the movies, um there’s a lot of exile tribe guys from High & Low in Prince of Legend, Yamato um, Nobuyuki Suzuki is in High & Low but also in Tokyo Ghoul and Radiation House with Masataka and Masataka is in Death Note with Goki Maeda and they’re both in the High & Low movies. Shuntaro Yanagi is also in Tokyo Ghoul and there’s just so many example of that and I’m so shocked to see it like, Ryota Katayose from Fantastics is in Prince of Legend but all in My Brother Loves Me Too Much with the guy who plays Hunny in Ouran High School Host Club. And Shinsuke Daito who plays Mother Kyoya in OHSHC I think is in Crows Zero. Also also Shuntaro Yanagi and Gordon Maeda are both in Tokyo Revengers and Re/member. It’s kinda cute how the actors weave in and around each other between multiple different movies it’s really cool

Nowhere more comfy to spend the winter than inside your pred buddy am I right? Please Help!!

i really hesitate to make this post bc it's the end of the year and everyone is strapped for money but the past several months have just been slowly getting more and more overwhelming for the things we need to fix.

We've been driving around in a car with the back windows we can't even roll up (one is held up by duct tape and the other is now slipped off the track that we can't even pull it up at this point) and trying to save up money to fix the windows, and a small oil leak.

Two months ago we had to turn off the water to the kitchen sink bc underneath is rusted through and it needs replaced. We're doing dishes in the bathtub with a hair catcher because we can't use the dishwasher.

A few days ago, one of the back tires went flat because the wall has rotted and we have no spare. I need to go to work, but bc of my disability, I have a job that only has me work maybe twice a month. I get *maybe* 200$ a month and I don't currently have government assistance. It's been impossible for us to save anything to fix anything and it keeps snowballing. At this point we are worried how to even get food.

I'm stressed. My wife is stressed. If anyone could spare even a couple dollars so we can replace the back two tires on the car so I could go to work, I would be eternally grateful.

Not what I was expecting

My old house still has its original cast iron radiators. Which are wonderfully efficient when it comes to heating the house – when you take care of them.

Last September, I was getting the radiators ready for winter. It’s a once-a-year job that takes less than a minute. But it requires a special tool, called a radiator key. And I couldn’t find mine anywhere.

After a few days of fruitless looking, I gave up, went online, and bought one. Only it was backordered. They said it wouldn’t be available until sometime in late October.

So, I was really surprised when it was delivered 3 days later.

That didn’t match up with what I was expecting. But it was exactly what I needed. And I was happy to have it.

Today’s Gospel is all about expectations. And how easy it is for you and me to become lost in our expectations. To become fixed in our expectations.

This is what Jesus is hearing from his critics. They have become set in their preconceived notions about how things have to work. They know how it has to happen. That’s the only way that it can happen. End of discussion.

And doing that is having the same effect on them that it has on you and me 2,000 years later when we do it.

When you and I become fixed in our expectations, we close ourselves off to other possibilities. Making us miss what God is doing in our lives.

Keeping us from the joy that comes from receiving God’s grace.

Because it doesn’t match up to what we were expecting.

Even though it’s exactly what we need.
