I find Retired Rockstar Ice so hilarious because the man Clark Kent’s the entire world, he is the Miley Cyrus of his generation.

No one ever connects Kairo Jett — crazy frontman, emaciated and covered in in tats with a huge mane of teased black hair, with The Iceman — all lean muscles, bleach blond hair and never with a single ribbon out of place.

But his band, close music friends and later the flyboys, get to see the real deal, they get to see Tommy Kazansky, who is all soft sweaters, herbal tea, pumpkin muffins and Janis Joplin vinyls.

Between Stephanie’s berating and their falling back one by one toward last place, he didn’t think things could get worse. Until the Ice Dancers make their grand appearance, steal the show, and leave him falling once again—though this time not necessarily physically.

Nightwing is captured by some sea fae, could be a mermaid or a water nymph, and is held in place by their giant octopus hench creature. They are enamoured by his good looks and witty charm and they want him as theirs. It doesn't matter that Nightwing is so obviously human, they must have them.

They try brokering a fae deal, "I can make your wildest dreams come true", but the vigilante is adamantly refusing, "I'd rather not sleep with the fishes, thank you," he knows not to do such a thing. Constantine has drilled it into the JL's heads to never ever ever make deals with those from underhill.

It takes one slip, a spasm in his face when he hears Red Hood arguing and cussing out at Batman and it is all it takes for the sea fae to sense a weakness, an opening. A sly grin, a gentle clawed hand tilting Nightwing's face slightly, eyes sharp and glinting.

"Don't you want those two to get along?"

"Of course I do," Nightwing agrees without delay, but it was a mistake. It's too late to take those words back and he pales underneath his mask.

They respond with a large smile with too much sharp teeth, the hand on his chin tightening to a painful degree. "Your wish is my honour to grant, Nightwing."

And they kiss him, a surge of ice rushes into him, coating his tongue and slipping down his throat, rushing into his lungs and choking him. It spreads further inwards, passing through his lungs and into his heart, filling every crevice and nook, settling heavily under his sternum and tingling all the way to his fingertips and down his spine.

"I will make it so, and in return, you will come to me, to be mine," they whispered, eyes bright like sparkling emeralds, their long serpent tail coiled tightly around him, cold fish scales scraping against his suit.

"I won't," Nightwing croaks, shaking his head.

"You will. The call of the deal will grow as time marches forward," they state, lips now brushing his ear, "I am patient. I am powerful. You will come to me."

Nightwing shivers in their grasp, the ice in his veins unpleasant. He feels his stomach drop. He can't, he can't, he can't.

He could hear them yelling at one another, attacking the other fishy hench creatures around. There was a loud explosion and several pops of a gun.

"We're having sushi tonight!"

"I prefer calamari, thank you."

"Shut up, RR!"

"My family-"

"Can do nothing to help you," they purred, nails digging in. "You may say your farewells, spend whatever time you can stand away from me with them. It will do nothing to stop the inevitable. You cannot escape."

He tries to argue again but the fae has had enough, their strong tail wrapped tightly around him, the tentacles of the giant octopus gone. All the cold, too cold, air escapes him, leaving him mute.

"I and the sea will call you and you will answer us. Your body will change, slowly, I give you this," they rumble, voice unhurried and uncaring of the growing chaos around them. "You get to properly say goodbye to your family and then..."

They kiss his throat, his cheek and then his forehead, as if he were something precious, something to be treasured. It leaves his stomach roiling.

"Nightwing! Get your hands off him, vile fiend!"

Robin-!

The fae laughs, long tail uncoiling, claws dragging across his suit. They hold him high up and Nightwing could do nothing but shiver in their grasp.

"You may have him, little child. Me and mine will take our leave."

He is thrown to the side and within moments, the fae and their underwater creatures were gone.

"Nightwing, are you alright?"

He shook. He was the farthest thing from alright.

Yeah I absolutely love your Neo. Before I found out about you I was a big Neo fan but after meeting you and seeing your headcanons and learning more about Neo through you, Neo became my favorite RWBY character!

And then when I saw your version of Neo especially after the events of the Ever After, she became my number 1 favorite Neo ever! I cannot see any other Neo without thinking of yours. Don’t get me wrong, anyone can still make Neo aus and all that, but to me your Neo is the definitive Neo, I love her so much! And her design is just perfect! It captures Neo perfectly, even with her new features!

And the fact that she has to struggle with this new side of her and the consequences of the Curious Cat is just AAAHHH My poor girl!

But not only that, you gave her a partner, the Reassuring Rabbit, CC reborn, a new little guy being her emotional pet! It’s just so AAHHH!!! ABSOLUTE CINEMA!!!

Even when the show eventually brings back Neo, I will not be able to stop thinking of yours! That’s how perfect she is!

Not only that, you also made me appreciate Spicecream more and made me fall in love with Strawberry Shortcake!

I can’t wait to finally get the chance to reading the RWBY novels, because the first one I’m gonna read is Roman Holiday! I need to know Neo’s full story for myself and not just through bits and pieces that are told to me!

I also hope to get to see more of your Neo, especially with RR since I don’t think we see much of them together. I need my adorable feral ice cream kitty and her even more adorable bunny rabbit companion getting into shenanigans! Especially wholesome moments between them, like RR being there for Neo and calming her in one of her episodes. Or their first meeting and how Neo eventually accepted RR and opened up to them. Like I knew I inspired people to like the character and all, I inspired others to also go ahead with their own versions of Neo and I love to see it, because I'm a sucker for multiverse shenanigans but ALSO??

wtf, you really do love my version and all the small details, like the RR put into the lore, and just, THANK YOU SO MUCH???

I'm vibrating on my seat, I'm very bad to express myself but I'm all giddy and happy- I know when it comes to the art there's just so much I would've loved to do, like there are so many ideas inside my head, the story between Neo and the Reassuring Rabbit are all inside there as well, mainly because it was the Blacksmith's idea to give the RR to Neo, to sort through the bad experience and trauma she had with the CC, and to have support so she wouldn't be completely alone in the Ever After (it was also an attempt to make Neo a better person), so their initial relationship wasn't exactly good because Neo was still resentful- she almost eats the RR a few times because of some of her new instincts too

and ALSO??? please YES, READ ROMAN HOLIDAY!! in all honesty it's the only novel I managed to read whole because my brain focuses too well in reading stuff related to my hyperfixation

but HHHHH, she's so special to me...I'm at that point in which (if she returns) seeing her in canon will feel weird, because it's obviously not gonna follow all the headcanons I've been developing, but I would be happy enough to just see a bit more of Neo lol

SPIDERLILY AU - Sabito and Kyojuro 🔥🧊

DISCLAIMER: this isn't a ship, not properly if you end up shipping them in my AU at the end that's perfectly fine with me anyways lol.

I love these two characters and I had some ideas concerning their relationship in the Spiderlily AU so why not sharing it?

I am a HUGE fan of opposite interacting and in this AU Sabito is the Ice Hashira so literally Ice and Fire (George RR Martin fan here), their personalities are opposite too: Kyojuro is friendly and always smiling, Sabito... don't look at him for too long or he'll probably break your nose after *aggressively* asking what are you staring at and if you want a photo. And of course these two won't get along pretty well in a first moment.

In this AU Sabito's family was a wealthy one, he lost everything and this is another story, but in a first moment they were rich and respected, but he always saw his parents work in their bank to earn money, they earned much but of course he grew up thinking "if you want to make money you have to work hard", so imagine how he would feel meeting someone born in a noble family that has always had waiters in their house doing EVERYTHING they needed and not having to lift a finger one single time in all their life. When he meets Kyojuro just looking at him makes him feel ANGRY, he just looks too innocent for the cruel world he's living in and he doesn't seem to realize.

Sabito immediately notices that Kyojuro isn't used to cold and doing things on his own, and while Giyu immediately lends a hand (and yes, they end up togheter in this AU), Sabito starts joking about the situation, and calling Kyojuro "Little Prince" in a derogatory way. In a first moment Makomo jokes about this too but soon she realises they're going too far and that Kyojuro just needs time to get used to his new lifestyle, so she starts to help too.

Sabito is then sent to a mission alone with Kyojuro and has to bring him back alive, of course. At this time Kyojuro is already sick, he just doesn't know it yet; he feels terribly cold and looks like he's about to faint at any moment, Sabito does anything in his power to help Kyojuro. They kill the demons infesting the place but Kyojuro gets badly injured and he just faints exhausted, Sabito grabs him and brings him back to the headquarters so he can get help.

Kyojuro gets treated and Kanae and Enmu diagnose him with the same sickness that killed his mother, even if it's in a early stage and can be treated without any problems, of course he doesn't tell Sabito that but, as I said in the post dedicated to Kyojuro in this AU, no one knows what's going on with him aside the people actually treating him. Anyways after the incident Sabito changes completely: he becomes over protective with Kyojuro and almost hits Sanemi for telling Kyojuro he's dumb.

Sanemi and Sabito are a good duo but they might be material for another time.🩵
