Howdy, Magnus Archives roleplaying community! My name's Guy, my pronouns are he/they, and I just discovered you exist! I wanted to make a blog to rp with my Magnus Archives OCs, but the trouble is that there's a lot of them, so before I start trying to talk to anyone, I wanted to make a master post to help keep track of them all and establish an organization system, so, here we go.

Judas Trinidad

Avatar of the Desolation, marked by The Flesh and The End, he/him, a contrarian, rebellious young man who moved away from Hollowville after a terrible house fire destroyed his family home. He's recently returned to find his brother missing, and is struggling to find his place in the world and, ideally, make meaningful social change along the way. Failing that, he's perfectly willing to just start throwing rocks through rich people's windows. Posts from his perspective will be tagged with BURN IT ALL DOWN.

Brutus Herald

Currently not an avatar, marked by the Desolation and the Buried. The son of a rich man who lost everything more or less by happenstance. His terrible experiences have made him resilient, moreso than anyone his age ever should be. Posts from his perspective will be tagged with My Name Means Heavy.

Antigone Herald

Currently not an avatar, marked by the Desolation. Antigone is a brave, tempestuous girl who is willing to destroy anything or anyone to be revenged for the damage done to her, even if that means burning herself out in the process. Anna Velasco

Avatar of the Extinction, marked by the Corruption, she/her, Cerise's former foster daughter and a deeply troubled girl who's quite sick of being told that her generation will have to be the ones to save the world. Teddy Lukas

Avatar of the Lonely and the Spiral, he/kit, an odd, quiet, and strangely docile young boy. Supposedly a ward of the Lukas family, though no one's ever seen its patriarch give him a kind word. He's wandered into Hollowville seeking out shelter and hopefully kinship, which he isn't likely to find, given his generally antisocial demeanor. Jack Trinidad

Avatar of the Stranger and the Desolation, marked by the Hunt, he/they/it, Jack recently returned to town after wandering the world for many years, getting into plenty of trouble along the way. He's not unkind, but people have a tendency to get violent towards him, especially after hearing them play their guitar. Their gentle, mirthful demeanor belies a rather uncanny nature. Posts from its perspective will be tagged with Jack.

The Dreaming

Avatar Entity of the Spiral, it/she, The Dreaming exists purely in the subconscious mind, feeding from the fear provoked by nightmares and fantasies grown out of control. She has the demeanor of a benevolent trickster, but her true motives are difficult to discern. It's something of an enigma, and even those who trust it aren't sure whether or not she was ever human. Posts from its perspective will be tagged with Dream Within A Dream.

Morgause Graber

Avatar of the Slaughter, marked by the End and the Dark, he/they, Mort's uncle who's best known for breaking the family's oath of nonviolence and promptly being exiled. He's not a sadistic man, but the cold ruthlessness with which he carries out acts of violence strikes fear into the hearts of many. He has often been described as heartless. This is not a description he rejects. Posts from his perspective will be tagged with Morgause the Traitor.

Wichita Fairchild

Avatar of the Vast, marked by the Hunt, the Spiral, and the Desolation, she/her, a religious fanatic with an increasingly intense obsession with natural disasters, particularly those that come from the sky or sea. Her difficult past has left her bitter and vindictive, and she's grown to consider herself a designated bringer of the wrath of God. Posts from her perspective will be tagged with Wichita Falls.

Azazel Blake (Az)

Avatar of the Flesh, marked by the End, the Desolation, the Spiral, and the Hunt, he/they, a local boy who took his quest for perfection via self-modification a bit too far. Something of a flirt, although he tries to avoid crossing any lines, and obsessed with beauty and perfection in all things, including himself. Belladonna Hirschell (Bella)

Avatar of the Eye, she/her, a high-profile influencer and self-proclaimed reputable source of supernatural news. Her entire existence is digitized, repackaged, rebranded, and wrapped up neatly with a bow, seemingly whenever it suits her. Hypothetically, she works for the Usher Foundation, managing their social media pages and uploading as many statements as she can to the world wide web, but her poor conduct and disregard of personal boundaries lead people to question her usefulness. Shrike Moonstone

Avatar of the Web, marked by the Corruption, he/they, a prolific, albeit rather reclusive, author. His work is known to tug at the heartstrings of its readers, sometimes even influencing the choices they make in the future. He is virtually the embodiment of authorly sadism and as sharp as a tack, but even a web-weaver like him can't escape the constraints of fate. Posts from their perspective will be tagged with The Author.

Alexis "Creep" Lotis

Avatar of the Eye and the Corruption, she/her, a journalist and researcher known and renowned for being willing to get down in the muck and resort to tactics other people would never dare to. She's been accused of being a muckraker, insensitive and, as the nickname would imply, a creep, but for the most part, she's just a girl who believes people have the right to knowledge, including knowledge they don't want. Posts from her perspective will be tagged with Creep Show.

welcome to the cockles masterpost, a labor of love/insomniac hyperfixation.

i recently wrote this cockles manifesto, but after it got a lot of notes and i kept adding more links to it, i decided i should just go through my 8 years of archives and compile all the cockles posts in a much more accessible and navigable way. after everything with the series finale and destielgate, i figured we could use some happiness, and it turns out there are a lot of people who’ve never heard the cockles gospel.

important disclaimer: yes, i do think that jensen and misha have a private romantic/sexual relationship, but no i do not, in any way, think that they have ever cheated on their wives. we think they are polyamorous, which is a real and valid thing, and misha is openly poly. some people love more than one person, and that’s okay. their families are close and we love and support all of them.

Far From Home

In a sci-fi setting where humans don't exist, smugglers Baz and Gerdie pose as intergalactic merchants and transport goods across the galaxies. One of their deliveries is suddenly halted when they discover a young girl named Toko of unknown species amidst their cargo, who claims to have lost her recent memories and doesn't know how she arrived on their ship. Despite the smugglers' suspicions, Toko asks if they'd be willing to help reunite her with her family. Baz initially refuses, but Toko's presence unintentionally launches them into a crazy adventure full of old friends and familiar foes. The comedic journey that follows highlights original alien designs and focuses on themes of forgiveness, redemption, and the comforting reality that home is never too far.

Stronger Than Blood

A shark mer named Ardyn offers to help a young seahorse mer named Mip return home the day after a terrible storm, once he learns she was carried far away from familiar territory during the night. This initial interaction leads to a hesitant friendship despite their blatant differences, and gradually fosters a sense of belonging. However, their new bond is soon tested when unexpected issues and old wounds push back against Ardyn's seemingly simple plan to take Mip home. The journey that follows highlights aquatic species native to the Gulf of Mexico and focuses on themes of self-worth, the importance of community, and breaking the cycles inherited from those who came before.

What the Current Carries

When minnow mer Kolver stumbles upon a crabtaur named Tsek while out in the shallows with his herd of snails, he fears he's going to be eaten; however, it's his snails which catch the hungry gaze of Tsek. In the midst of his panic, Kolver notices that Tsek is missing one of her arms and realizes she's at a huge disadvantage for survival. Despite the language barrier, Kolver manages to halt her feast and offers a deal: he'll act as bait and lead food right to her if she protects him and his herd. The journey that follows highlights aquatic species native to Cape Cod and focuses on themes of grief, overcoming prejudice, and finding love where you least expect it.

This is a collaborative roleplay between @kbthebearcat and myself, though we consider our characters' connection to be official.

Twenty-three, or Cricket (as she later renames herself), is an escaped lab experiment and juvenile rat-human hybrid with strange origins. When she unexpectedly lands in the lap of a confused young man named Donald following her recent escape from Atlas Laboratories, the two must learn to trust each other despite their differences. To Cricket's surprise, Donald looks after her by providing safety and rest from recent trauma, all while gently encouraging her to develop a sense of personhood. At the same time, Cricket's presence instills a sense of purpose and parenthood in Donald, whose past hurts are also relatively fresh. Over time, the two realize that it's possible to find family in the most unexpected places. Unfortunately for them, Atlas has plans to retrieve their star specimen...

anons function similarly to a twitch chat, which is why i decided that q's chat wasn't a duck pond for originality!

POP UPS: this applies to all asks that aren't letters or in-person situations.

these asks are visual pop-ups (boxes, like those virus advertisements you get on a computer, ykykyk) that show up in quackity's peripheral vision. the pop ups can't interact with him physically since they're just text— but they pile up and overlap if he doesn't address them. he can swipe them away with his hands, of course. quackity either responds to them verbally (only if he's alone to avoid looking bonkers.) or mentally (if he's got company.)

lengthy asks always tend to overwhelm / slow me down, and while that isn't a bad thing, i do prefer short-mid length asks on a regular basis. this doesn't rule out occasional long letters & shit tho :)

as for the anons side of things, i'd imagine it's similar to either watching a TV show you can send in notes / commentary / questions into, or literally being a citizen of LN. or, for some, working in the nation itself. (we need more workers pleasepleas.e pleas e its so fucking cool dude i love writing professional fancy shit olealplease i beg i beg i plead)

the anons cannot press too hard on changing what lore i have set up. you can add in little details if you like, or base details off of what canon i've already shown thru this blog (LOVE THAT), but anons aren't going to be aware of absolutely everything nor can they possess or control quackity's actions. keep that in mind <3

IMPORTANT: i've seen a few dsmp blogs using my pop-up idea, and while that's chill, i politely suggest taking inspo from the cc's interpretation of their chat. :3

i made quackity's anons function as popup ads rather than a duck pond or something basic, since it reflects his chaotic sort of character— from what i recall, tommy (?) had a nokia phone, jack uses his ingame headset, phil has crows and techno has voices.

bascially, i'd much rather see ppl coming up with their own versions of their anons/chat. or at least credit me for the pop-up idea!

You may send me reminders and pings! but please do not go over 3 or 4, it gets annoying! sometimes I get busy and I forget but I will reply eventually!

When I send a reply I will ping you! If you don't want that just tell me to not ping you!

For roleplay I am semi lit to literate and can write up to 7 paragraphs, however I will try to match my partners length. So if you write 5 I will also write 5, if you write 3 I will write 3.

I don't have any triggers

I AM still learning the basics on cybertronian terms! So if I get something wrong or I use regular terms it's because I'm still learning! I do have basic anatomy down though, so that's a thing! (Feel free to correct me though)

Megatron rp basics:

My au megatrons backstory is not all sunshine and rainbows, so keep in mind that some posts will have mentions of very dark themes in it! A list of common dark topics will be listed below this section!

You can read all his info on his character profile and headcannon posts! (Wip)

Not all of the events will be cannon! however, there will be mentions of cannon events from both the comics and show! (I will put common mentions in a headcannon post later)

Be aware that the megatron in this au can be very aggressive! He does have a lot of patience for a megatron, but if you manage to anger him enough you will face the consequences of a tyrant's wrath. (He will NOT kill your oc without permission but he may injure them!)

This au version of Armada Megatron is a combination of the comic and show versions of him in terms of personality. He can be deceivingly polite and formal to hide a darker sadistic and ferally brutal side.

He will toy with your ocs emotions if given the chance

He has mood swings sometimes

He is always looking for ways to become stronger and he is not afraid to add body modifications to himself to become a better and more efficient minicon hunter or fighter

I will also post occasional lore related content and small ramblings from megatrons perspective
