i need to vent somewhere. so i'll put this here.

one of my hobbies i'm trying to get into is 3d printing figures from games I like and painting them. i'm in discord servers to get some of these figures. almost everyone there is a horny pervert that just wants giant unrealistic boobs, naked girls, and sexualized figures. every day they're being disgusting about anime girls. pretty sure most of them are straight men, and you know how most of them treat women....this makes me super uncomfortable as a sex repulsed asexual but asking them to stop gets you bullied because it's so normalized for the men in this community to be disgusting horny weirdos and reducing female characters to nothing but objects to satisfy their sexual dreams. you could say "at least they're doing it to pixels and not real women," but i'm sure they would/do treat real women the same way (and that's probably why they can't get real women and have to resort to anime figures) but what disturbs me the most is some of them have an appalling obsession with "loli" characters, which are clearly underage/childlike characters that they shamelessly sexualize. in one discord server there's an argument happening that some people outside the server are upset at and "bully" these creeps for liking these characters and wanting sexualized art/figures if them, and they are mad about it and don't get why it's bad. the argument is "they aren't real, so it isn't illegal," but in my opinion!!!!!they are basically just admitting that if it wasn't illegal, they'd do it openly to real kids, but still do it secretly in their minds 😫🤢🤮

I can't be the only Celebrimbor lover that gets frustrated by the de-centering of Celebrimbor’s role in his own story by the larger fandom. And the misconception about the Eregion storyline that the various adaptations have created. I understand that the LOTR trilogy movies skip over the details, that the Ring Poem is misleading, and that TROP chose to make their own version of the Second Age.

But the original Eregion storyline is not some fringe part of the lore. What actually happened is mentioned in the trilogy books during the Council of Elrond, in the Appendices and also in the Silmarillion. We know that Sauron's original plan was to use the Rings to ensnare the elves(of Eregion). We know that most of the 16 were likely originally made for them and worn by them. We know that Celebrimbor and the other Eregion smith heard Sauron's black speech in their minds when he made the One Ring, making them realize that he wanted to "be master over them" and took off their Rings. We know that the Three Elven Rings were made last and by Celebrimbor alone and that Sauron had no knowledge of them until he made the One Ring. And we know that they were still in Eregion and not possessed by Galadriel, Gil-Galad or Cirdan until after Sauron made the One Ring, when Celebrimbor sent them away when Sauron's treachery was revealed and he began invading Eriador.

The way Celebrimbor and the Eregion elves keep getting sidelined honestly bothers me, and the fact that it's probably one of the most misinterpreted parts of the lore drives me insane sometimes. I'm ok with adaptations doing lore changes, but when people act like those changes are what actually happened in the original story or ignore the original story, it gets really frustrating. And the de-centering of Celebrimbor in those other versions genuinely makes me sad. He deserves better. The whole revelation about the One Ring centers around him and Eregion in the lore.

Additional:

Fragrances more often than not are NOT cheap. I highly recommend tracking down a sample of whatever fragrance you want BEFORE spending the money to get a bottle. Always try fragrances in a small amount beforehand to make sure you have no reactions to the formula or scent, and wash it off quickly if you do. When wearing perfume oils, keep the area out of direct sunlight.

We know jack had a witch hunter in his family line. Let’s make him competent at it. Make him also go after other supernatural beings. He’s super good at capturing, detaining, banishing and even killing the entities. To bad he doesn’t care about any safety precautions.

It ends with the family line essentially being cursed. They were being hunted and stuff. The reason the fentonnightingales just turned into Fenton was to hide from the beings.

When Danny dies and comes back there presence is made known again. It did take a powerful event to become an halfa. Suddenly the family is being hunted again.

The Fenton parents love it. They have more entries to research and capture now.

Jazz and Danny not so much. Jazz ends up taking Danny away from amity to see if that would stop the constant attacks.

No one in the infinite realm gave and advice on how to get them to leave them alone. Frostbite only warns not to go ghost unless he has to. Apparently if the entities knew he was a halfa more powerful threats may want to attack him.

The two siblings are discovered by the JLD after a very powerful entity tried to attack them.

Now the two are basically hanging out with the JLD while they figure out how to fix it. The last name trick would not work a second time. That and anyone with any magic can feel the death magic on danny.

Danny refuses to elaborate on why he feels like death itself. Until one day a world ending threat tries to take out the siblings. Apparently fentonnightingale had sealed it away and it only just broke the bindings.

The JLD needed some artifacts or item to reseal it. But when it grabs Jazz. Danny goes ballistic and transforms.

Turns out most things won’t mess with Danny or his sister anymore. He one shot a super powerful entity and apparently had three marks of protection from the ancients. Those being frostbite, clockwork, and pandora.

Frostbite only told him not to transform was because clockwork told him not to.

Dope. Prototype build worked out excellently. Need to adjust the assembly peg for the lower half of the smaller piece and print it ever so slightly bigger, but that's a hell of a lot less adjustments than I was prepared to have to make. The two halves fit so snugly together that, honestly, just one assembly peg's probably good enough
